  Mon ami et moi étions très satisfaits, avons fêté son anniversaire là-bas et avons immédiatement obtenu un surclassement. Mon partenaire a également eu une surprise au petit-déjeuner et une petite attention de la part du personnel. La chambre était très propre et nous aurions pu profiter davantage de la terrasse en été. Ce fut une belle expérience, merci, bon rapport qualité prix

  Je n'ai jamais eu une chambre aussi sale à notre arrivée. Il y avait des empreintes digitales partout, le sol était collant, la poubelle était sale. Moisissure sous le plafond de la douche, odeur dégoûtante lors de la douche. La "terrasse" une blague. Une table, deux chaises entre les mauvaises herbes. Sur les deux étoiles, une est pour le personnel de la réception, qui au moins était très gentil et s'est excusé pour la gêne occasionnée. Nous avons quitté l'hôtel après une nuit et avons récupéré l'argent pour les autres nuits que nous avions déjà payées.

  Le rapport qualité prix n'est absolument PAS correct Rarement vu une chambre aussi vétuste et surtout SALE avec un système de climatisation défectueux (très froid). Linge de lit sale, salle de bain sale, cheveux partout, empreintes digitales, etc. Vraiment dégoûtant et je veux juste sortir d'ici!

  Caserne des années 90 de 4 étoiles. Grandes chambres raisonnablement propres. Bon emplacement grâce à la proximité du métro. Un point sensible pour un hôtel 4 étoiles à Munich était le personnel d'accueil, complètement étranger à la langue italienne inconnue malgré les milliers de visiteurs par an de notre part. Service au top avec fer et table à repasser et bouilloire avec thé, tisanes et café dans la chambre

  Le Residence Inn et le Courtyard forment désormais un complexe hôtelier commun. Depuis le Residence Inn, cependant, seules les chambres sont utilisées. En raison de votre séjour, il y a une longue marche jusqu'au petit-déjeuner et à la réception du Courtyard. La chambre était grande, cependant, le service de chambre a été oublié. Centre de remise en forme plutôt petit et peu équipé. Situé sur une route principale très fréquentée. Avec le prix élevé, ce n'est pas un bon rapport qualité-prix.

  Good hotel. The rooms are clean and air conditioned. The service is good. Very close to bus and tram stations so it is not challenging to take to Munich East Central Station. However, it takes some time to go to the station by walk. All in all, I liked the hotel and it is one of my recommended places for future trips to Munich.

  Im Osten von München gibt es zwei Hotels, die man leicht verwechseln kann: "Residence Inn by Marriott Munich East" in der Orleanstraße und das etwas abgelegene neue "Residence Inn by Marriott Ostbahnhof" in der Grafingerstraße. Letzteres befindet sich in einem gerade entstehenden Viertel mit sehr vielen Baustellen und schlechter Anbindung an U-und Straßenbahn.

  Wurden leider enttäuscht. Fühlten uns im Zimmer wegen mangelnder Sauberkeit unwohl. Sogar die Kinder bemerkten das es nicht sauber war. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Aber insgesamt nicht das was man erwartet wenn man in einem Mariott Hotel schläft.

  I am a regular to this hotel. Averaging around 20 days per year normally. This time the experience was not as pleasant. The room was dusty when moving in. Room service was not carried out at all when we asked to come back later. Service to room for additional bed sheets / blanket wasn’t available to room but had to go down to the reception myself. Checkout not smooth. The staff was friendly but clearly well understaffed despite the hotel was only maybe 20% occupied.

  Nous avons séjourné à l'hôtel pour une nuit. Le rapport qualité-prix était correct. C'était propre. La chambre avait même une petite kitchenette. Nous y étions avant l'enregistrement. Nous étions toujours autorisés à utiliser le parking et à ne nous enregistrer que le soir. Le petit déjeuner était super. Café très savoureux, vous pourriez même prendre à faire gratuitement. Il y avait des crêpes fraîches. Vraiment beaucoup de choix. Mais j'ai un point négatif, la température dans la pièce ne pouvait être ajustée que par la climatisation. Mais comme je suis très sensible, je l'ai éteint. En conséquence, il faisait très froid dans la chambre. Et encore plus froid dans la salle de bain, il n'y avait pas de chauffage séparé. Mais sinon volontiers à nouveau.

  When traveling in the US on business (pre Covid-19) I always stay in a Residence inn. This location totally exceeded expectations. The service from the front desk team (supplies, recommendations, directions, transportation) was what I would expect from a high end hotel. The breakfast buffet was very broad and the team provided service well beyond. The room was smaller than the US versions but the bathroom was larger and the shower was outstanding. The location is right at a transportation hi. That made it so easy to get around. Thanks to the team for a great experience

  Nous avons été très satisfaits de notre séjour au Residence Inn à Munich. Le personnel de l'hôtel est sympathique et toujours serviable. Nous avions déjà réservé un lit bébé pour notre séjour, qui était déjà dans la chambre à notre arrivée. Le petit déjeuner était également très bon et avait tout ce que nous voulions. L'hôtel est facilement accessible via l'Ostbahnhof via le S-Bahn ou le U-Bahn. Il y a aussi un tram qui part de près de l'hôtel et va directement en ville. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons été très satisfaits et réserverions certainement à nouveau cet hôtel.

  Le petit déjeuner est très ennuyeux et pauvre et répétitif pendant des mois, et il n'y a pas de nourriture épicée et variée.Je suis des compétences et des pâtisseries d'entreprises... Le service de ménage est très faible. Il n'est pas recommandé de prendre les chambres donnant sur la rue principale. Très très ennuyeux car il y a un train et il y a un train et il y a des bus et des voitures juste devant l'hôtel.Vous ne pourrez pas ouvrir la fenêtre et respirer l'air naturel

  Paying a deposit is normally no issue. But charging money from my card without even mentioning it is not acceptable and almost criminal. They way you act shows how arrogant you look at your customers. Btw it’s been four days now, when do you return my deposit? Breakfast staff friendly and quick. Buffet sufficient but sausages only lukewarm, eggs industrial?, and the water from the juice machine not clean. Room only clean on the surface. Don’t look under the chair or behind the couch. Aircon and tv not working properly (yes, window was closed)

  Malheureusement je n'étais pas satisfait... 80% des téléviseurs de l'hôtel ne fonctionnent pas (nous n'avons été informés qu'après l'enregistrement).Il a fallu près d'une heure pour trouver une chambre où la télévision fonctionnait et toujours pas de succès. Les chambres devraient être rénovées car le mobilier est très usé et les couleurs sont très sombres. La propreté n'était pas la meilleure... mes toilettes n'étaient pas vraiment propres. Le petit-déjeuner n'est pas très varié pour le prix (par exemple, seule variante 2 rouleaux) Je ne recommande pas de faire une réservation car vous ne payez que pour le nom.

  Hotel kann man sehr gut weiterempfehlen. Rezeption und Frühstücksmitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Alles ist sehr sauber. Erwähnenswert sind die Desinfektionstücher welche ich bei Check-In erhalten habe. Habe ich vorher bei keinem anderen Hotel erhalten. Auch während Corona füllt man sich sehr sicher.   Sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Mein Zimmer befand sich Richtung Innenhof in sehr ruhiger Lage. Die Zimmer sind mit einer kleinen Küche ausgestattet, ideal in der jetzigen Zeit. Das Hotel befindet sich in zentraler Lage, keine 10min bis zur Innenstadt. Sehr nettes Personal, und alles war blitzsauber. So fühlt man sich auch in Coronazeiten sicher und gut aufgehoben. Vielen Dank für den netten Service! Insgesamt bin ich super zufrieden. Gerne wieder!!!

  J'ai pu passer plusieurs nuits dans cet hôtel cette année à cause du travail. J'adore revenir à chaque fois. J'aime les installations et le personnel est très sympathique. L'emplacement à l'est de Munich est très bon et Haidhausen propose de nombreux restaurants. La seule critique est le petit déjeuner. Il y a beaucoup de place à l'amélioration ici.

  Neben Verkehrslärm nun auch Renovierungslärm. Ansprechende Zimmer mit kleinen Mängeln (z.B. zu kaltes Bad). Frühstück sowohl in Auswahl und Qualität bzw. Geschmack der Speisen Mittelmaß und somit verbesserungswürdig. Auch störend: Zimmerservice der schon Stunden vor Checkout klopft und wissen möchte, wann man denn geht.

  Hôtel moderne de construction récente. Belle chambre, la nôtre avait une petite kitchenette. Propre, le room service avait apparemment oublié de passer l'aspirateur uniquement sous le lit... Personnel sympathique, l'agencement du lobby était un peu dommage car c'était aussi la salle du petit déjeuner. Il peut y avoir un peu à l'étroit ici avec de nombreux invités. Le buffet du petit déjeuner était également dans un petit espace, donc c'était facile de se mettre debout, mais c'était bon avec un bon choix. Malheureusement, les tomates n'étaient pas mûres et la salade de fruits a probablement été préparée la veille car elle était détrempée, voici donc quelques inconvénients. Supermarchés dans le complexe de bâtiments, près de l'Ostbahnhof avec une très bonne connexion à la ville, à environ 600 m.

  Room size and location of hotel was great but hotel staff put little effort into meeting basic needs. The heater was not functional and the only resolution they could provide was a heater that was missing a wheel. Shower also had mold and the staff promised to send someone they next day but never did. Room also had a smell of mist and sewage.

  Stay at Residence Inn in the US and expected similar experience...Not so much! Room service was only 2 times per week. Normal items such as coffee,sugar, washcloths not replenished even on days that room was cleaned. Location is good for public transport. Closed to train station which gets you to subway, tram lines as well as trains. The room comes with stove, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher, if you wanted to cook and clean on vacation. A grocery store is right around the corner. Breakfast is ample with a variety of cold and warm buffet items. Did not get any benefits of Bonvoy platinum membership, no points, no upgrades nothing. The issue we have is that the hotel experience was not up to the Marriott standards that we have come to expect.

  This was our 6th stay over the past 6 years and the residence inn remains an excellent hotel. The rooms are clean, large and comfortable, and the breakfast is outstanding. A pleasant 7 minute walk to Munich East train and bus station. The halls are beginning to show wear but that’s a nothing issue when it comes to overall comfort and value. The staff is friendly and very efficient.

  Stayed at this Residence Inn for 3 nights. The stay was very enjoyable and comfortable. The room was very clean and well equipped, the complimentary breakfast was excellent, the staff was very friendly and courteous, and the hotel location was excellent due to easy access to trains/trams/busses. I will definitely use this hotel again when in Munich. The only improvement I can suggest is for better selection of English channel programs on the TV.

  This location is close to Ostbahnhof, it is convenient to get to from the airport and easy to get to other destinations by train, bus, tram, bike or taxi. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby. The breakfast buffet has great variety and quality. The staff are very professional and courteous. The rooms are small but well appointed and organized. I have been to Munich many times, intend to return many more, and I will always stay here.

  Our stay was great. There are a few things I would've changed from the room. The bathtub/shower was too high, it was difficult to get in and out of. The shower door leaked from the bottom, we had to put a towel in between the ledge of the tub and the shower door, to prevent it from getting the entire bathroom floor wet, the bathtub also had mold. The room didn't have air conditioning, although this was listed as a feature. We had our room serviced twice and both times, the only thing they did was make the beds and replace the towels. The floors and bathroom weren't cleaned at all. At one point, we had run out of toilet paper, we went to ask the housekeepers, as they were just outside our room, cleaning other rooms and they looked at us and ignored us. The breakfast needed more variety...there's only so much bread and eggs we can eat. Check out process, you physically have to go to the front desk and hand them the cards, you cannot leave the room cards in the room. You need an extra card to turn on the lights and our cards had to be reprogrammed various times, as they didn't work to open the door. Be aware of the smoking, the smell will waft up to your room, if you leave the window open.

  The staff from day one were top notch...very professional and helpful....the feeling that they really cared was evident. Each day staff had a smile and greeted us by name..an element that falls short in the USA way too often. The room was excellent as well. The breakfast lounge was amazing...I wish that we could have such breakfast experiences in our USA hotels.. Overall, top notch and recommend staying here if your in Munich..

  I was greeted by a warm welcome that was accommodating, nice, and quick to check me in. The room was exactly what I wanted and in fact exceeded expectations. The room was clean and very nice. For what I paid, it was an amazing deal. Really loved having a refrigerator in the room too! Loved the room!

  I was looking forward to spend my holiday at Munich in Residence Inn by Mariott. Checking in was smooth and staff was friendly. I have received a room on the second floor. The corridor's carpet was dirty and the odour was very unpleasant. Our room was nice, it's a bit thight with the sofa bed open, however otherwise comfortable. The amenities are good, kitchenette is well equipped, even has a dishwasher. The washoroom was nice and clean, unfortunately the same can not be said for the room. The floor was disgusting and the pillows were dirty with hair and mascara smudges. I have requested for a change of bedding, which I had to wait for 2-3 hours late into the evening, while my kids couldn't go to bed. Finally I get the new bedding by an unfriendly housekeeper, but it's only a single set, had to wait another 30 minutes for another one. In the morning the breakfast was a chaos. There is no cutlery, napkins and even had to wait 15 minutes for water. The buffet was not refilled at a good pace and it was very messy. The water fountain at the reception had dirty glasses placed as clean. I picked up a glass, it had red lipstick on it. In the morning I requested for a cleaning. When I returned to my room at night the floors were still not cleaned. Decided to check out and continue my holiday in another hotel. Ruth at the reception desk was really helpful in the checkout process, otherwise I had an awful experience.

  This was my first time to Munich so I didn't know the city well. I read positive reviews on this property and I'm glad I stayed here. The location was very convenient as it was just 2 blocks to the train station (Munchen Ost) and there is a tram that passes by literally right in front of the hotel. I was coming with my wife and 3 kids so it was essential that I get a connecting room. The rooms that I got (5007 and 5009) were very spacious and connecting. They both had a king size bed and also a sofa bed in each room. My kids said the sofa bed was very comfortable. The rooms were modern and very quiet. Even though we were on the front of the building facing the street it was very quiet. It was very very hot during my stay and I can honestly say the GREAT and strong Air conditioning really was wonderful. Sometimes at some hotels the AC doesn't get too cold but the AC worked great here. The lobby area is nice with lots of room to sit and there is also a kids play room if you have young kids. Our 3 year old daughter really enjoyed it. My older kids loved the outdoor ping pong table. The breakfast in the morning was good and had a lot of variety. I definitely recommend the hotel. The front desk staff were mostly friendly. The male (with glasses) that worked the late afternoon/evening shift was especially always friendly. I forget his name but he was the friendliest that always had a smile on his face (something that is rare for Germans in the hospitality industry) sadly. If you are on the fence on booking this don't hesitate. It's not in the heart of all the action but most things are a quick 10 minute metro ride.

  Great experience at this hotel! Room was clean, cool and nice and big. Staff at the front desk were helpful, friendly and always willing to provide assistance. After a week in hot hotels in other locations, the Residence Inn was our oasis. Close to the train station, good local restaurants and staff always willing to help....what's not to love! Recommend to anyone and would stay here again.

  We had an AirBnb booked in the center of Munich that was filthy when we arrived. We quickly booked this hotel instead, and we were even able to check in early. The staff was very friendly, and the hotel and room were very clean. It is a short walk to the metro where you can ride into the city center (I want to say the walk was 3 blocks and the metro ride was 8 minutes in total). We would definitely stay here again.

  In fussläufiger Nähe zum Ostbahnhof ist man schnell überall in München und bei Ankunft vom Flughafen auch schnell im Hotel. Das Hotel hat sehr angenehme Zimmer mit toller Ausstattung und Aufteilung, bestens schall-solierte Fenster, so dass der Verkehr kaum merkbar ist. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.   Super hébergement pour visiter Munich. Situé à 300 m de la gare de OstBahnöf et à cinq stations en direct de la Gare centrale de Munich soit 15 minutes pour se rendre au Centre. Sous forme de mini-studio, 30 m2, avec trois couchages possible, lit confortable et matelas moelleux semi dur bien pour les reins, canapé mini-salon avec vraie table et deux sièges poufs à la bonne hauteur pour déjeuner ou dîner. Cuisine tout équipée, 2 plaques vitro-céramique, un four à micro-ondes, un vrai réfrigérateur, un lave-vaiselle, une cafetière à expresso (2 capsules métal par jour), sachet de thé, sucre et dosette café-thé réapprovisionnés, une bouilloire électrique, produit vaisselle et pastilles lave-vaisselle sont fournis de même que torchon, set de couverts, assiettes, plats, poële, récipients divers, bac à glaçons, le TOP...Belle salle de bain avec douche et baignoire, séchoir à cheveux, serviettes toilette et bains. Les petits déjeuners servis en salle sont sous forme de buffets chaud et froid, omelettes, bacon, haricots, petites saucisses, oeufs durs, plateau de fromages, salade de fruits frais, (l'ananas était délicieux), yaourts et musli, fruits entiers, boissons aux fruit et café machine, je recommande le café filtré meilleure. Résidence équipée d'une salle de gym fitness-musclution, vélo, elliptique, tapis de course, électroniques et monitorés, et banc, machine à poulies multi-fonctions, haltères, espalier, swissball. Une fontaine d'eau et des serviettes sont fournies, accessibles 24h/24. Il y a un hammam et un sauna avec vestiaire et douche, mais il faut réserver la mise en service 24h à l'avance pour pouvoir en profiter. Les moins : les mini-studio situés sur la rue sont légèrement bruyants (à cause des trains) malgré la bonne isolation des fenêtres, à l'opposé les autres mini-studios donnant sur la cour intérieure sont plus calmes mais leur prix est un peu plus cher. Le ménage complet (sauf vaiselle) bien fait d'ailleurs est proposé tous les deux jours pour un séjour long de cinq nuits : OK passe encore, mais il convient de réapprovisionner le nécessaire pour la douche tous les jours. (1 dosette de produit douche pour deux jours et par personne, un peu chiche) Je recommande pour tout le reste, c'est super et l'accueil, le staf et le personnel de nettoyage sont trés avenants et gentils. A mon avis le meilleur rapport qualité prix à Munich pour un super séjour !

  Das Personal war nett und bemüht. Wir konnten direkt vor dem Hotel günstig parken. Die U-Bahn kann man in einigen Minuten zu Fuss erreichen. Die Einrichtung des Hotels war modern und angenehm.. Leider hatten wir ein zu hartes Bett. Auf den Lift mussten wir lange warten (nur 1 war in Betrieb) und das Internet funktionierte selten und nur für kurze Zeit. Das Frühstück wäre mit mehr Obst-und Gemüseangebot gesünder und angenehmer.

  Location was ideal for multiple day trips around the region. Easy walk to the train station and felt very safe at all hours. The breakfast truly is awesome! Also great food at the Bistro. Service is a bit slow but we were never in a hurry. We wanted to utilize the washer/dryer but had to wait a long time due to other guests not being prompt in returning. Overall we really enjoyed it and would definitely stay again.

  This was our first trip to Germany as a family and we found our hotel to provide us with all the comforts of home! The staff was friendly, welcoming and very helpful. They did not make us feel like tourists, but treated us like family. Our rooms were cozy and comfortable and the full course breakfast was our highlight of the day - we looked forward to it every morning! Would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!!

  This hotel is excellent for the business traveler; close to rail travel and a comfortable room. Breakfast is excellent. The location may not be best suited for tourists unless you like to walk (like my wife and I do). We had a great stay.

  This was a very pleasant experience. Staff was ALWAYS willing to be helpful and provide guidance. The location is just 2 blocks from the train station which made our various travels very simple including traveling to Austria and our return. Breakfast was delightful with delicious, healthful choices everyday. The bed was comfortable and all appliances worked well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

  on s'est offert un long week-end à Munich, et avec notre bébé on a besoin d'un petit quelque chose plus que la chambre d'hôtel habituelle. L'appart'hôtel Marriott a coché toutes les cases nos besoins : une grande chambre, à deux pas du centre, proche des transports en commun et belle. La chambre comprend une kitchenette équipée de tout, même un four micro-ondes lave-vaisselle, table pour déjeuner et dîner, salle de bain avec douche ÉNORME, magnifique! Le personnel de l'hôtel s'est montré compétent et discret ; les parties communes étaient très propres et spacieux; la salle du petit déjeuner grande et jamais trop de monde. L'hôtel est situé à 200 mètres de la gare Ostbanhof et juste en face de l'hôtel il y a l'arrêt du tram n. 19 qui vous emmène au centre en 10 minutes, le maximum

  Located a few blocks from the train station that takes you to the heart of Munich. Front desk was extremely helpful and friendly any time of day as in the dining room. Breakfast was plentiful but as usual, hard to keep the bluffet hot. The bread and rolls were outstanding. Room was of good size and a great shower. Amenities were fine. If you need a robe they will deliver you one for just a deposit which will be deducted from your bill. We never saw a face cloth but used a hand towel. Don't think they use face cloths in Germany. We never asked, so maybe they do. Other than that, absolutely no falt with this hotel.

  This newish hotel is east of the old city center in an interesting neighborhood walking distance to trains at Ostbahnhof, south of the neighborhood known as Bogenhausen. We enjoyed a large room with attractive furnishings, a small kitchen, plenty of storage space for clothes and luggage, and a very nice sized bathroom with modern fittings. The room had large windows and enjoyed excellent light. Although we were on a main road and our view was of the train yards, we never heard a sound from the street. The room also had good lighting in the evenings, and a fair amount of wall outlets for charging phones, etc. There was also a large glass-topped desk which was found useful. We also made use of the small kitchen. The front desk personnel were friendly and efficient, and the food and service at breakfast was first-rate. The selection included many hot and cold options, and there was very good coffee and tea. There were also plenty of tables, so we never had to wait for a table. The Residence Inn directly adjoins a Marriott Courtyard, and the two properties share the restaurant areas, but have separate lobbies. Everything about our stay was first-rate - neighborhood, building, room, service, food, proximity to public transportation - everything.

  Big bonus-- this property is located on the tram line (19), so it was very easy to use public transportation. Overall this hotel was fine for one night. It served the purpose and filled a travel gap before a flight the next day. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and efficient. But the room itself was hard and sterile. I would not call it comforting or inviting. We had trouble with the wifi signal reaching the entire room. In fact we had to stand in the kitchen area for a strong signal. Reading email from the bed or the sofa while watching TV was not an option. Better breakfast than most locations!

  This hotel is very nice and in a great location. Train station is a short walk, and just 2 stops to the city center. The rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable. We had two connecting rooms for 5 people. Very spacious. We were very impressed with how comfortable the sofa bed was for our daughter. Best one she has ever slept in. Lots of storage space in room. Breakfast was great. All the staff was very helpful and nice. Highly recommend this hotel.

  For us this hotel was a great alternative to renting a holiday apartment for a short stay. We spent a week and enjoyed it. Good size room, well equipped kitchenette, great breakfast included in the price, very attentive hotel staff. It is not in the city centre but with easy access to tourist attractions, train station and airport.

  The location of the hotel is great. Even though it's not in the city center, it's just 2 blocks from the Ost Banhoff, so getting around town is easy. I loved having a kitchenette in the room, so that we could prepare our own meals, or store/heat up left-overs. The breakfast buffet is wonderful, and the staff are quite friendly. I'd definitely return, whether for business or pleasure.

  We were a couple + 2 children ( 3 and 1.5 years old). The children slept on the sofa + a baby cot. We were on vacation and stayed for 3 nights. Overall, the room was very nicely equipped (including microwave, dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine and cutlary) and nothing was missing. The room itself was a bit crowded, and it would be nice if it was a bit more roomy. The front desk staff was polite, pleasent and helpful and so was the staff at the dining room. The breakfast was tasty. A small remark: There's no option of taking a shuttle from the hotel to the airport (or vice versa). So it's either you take a very expensive taxi (65 euro for 30 km) or you drag all your luggage to the nearest train station (10 minutes walk).

  The stay at the Residence Marriott Munich City East was pleasant and convenient. It's location to the Ostbahnhof did help our choice and the ability to book 2 connecting rooms for our family (3 kids, nanny, my wife and myself) also were beneficial. Most of all, the team at the reception did stand out with the continuous courteous and friendly service which helped make our stay very pleasant. I would recommend this hotel for families which have no issues for self catering / serviced stays. The breakfast is more than sufficiently set up with a good choice of cold cuts, fruits, cereals and hot items. Just be prepared for a full self service buffet, including hot drinks. Overall a good stay and, if asked if I would return, I would probably say yes.
