  Passez votre chemin ! Nous avons pris cet hôtel pour sa proximité avec l’aéroport et c’est bien son seul positif. Concernant la chambre, notre nuit fut correct. En revanche, le pommeau de douche ne fonctionnait pas. Super ! Le pire n’étant malheureusement pas la chambre mais bien le petit déjeuner : une réelle arnaque ! 18$ / personne pour le pire petit déjeuner jamais mangé. Absolument rien de frais. On n’avait limite peur de tomber malade après. Pour finir, nous souhaitions profiter de la piscine avant de ne prendre la direction de l’aéroport. Mais là encore, énorme déception. La piscine est minuscule mais surtout, inexploitable vu que son eau est absolument gelée par le vent. Évidemment pas chauffée et placée à l’ombre qui plus est. Bref, une fin de séjour fort désagréable et beaucoup trop chère pour le niveau des prestations.

  Pour facturer ce qu'ils facturent, vous devriez avoir de meilleurs peignoirs pour sortir de la salle de bain. J'ai pris le plus vieux. Dommage que je n'ai pas pris la photo pour la publier. L'attention du personnel était excellente. Merci de nous recevoir.

  Excellent hôtel, très bien situé par rapport à l'aéroport, ils ont un bus qui part toutes les demi-heures pour l'aéroport. Et surtout, l'attention du personnel qui travaille ici. Très bonne

  Il y a un transport gratuit jusqu'à l'hôtel, le problème est que c'est toutes les demi-heures et qu'il y a un long temps d'attente à l'aéroport.

  Un hôtel exécutif, avec des salles de réunion, des espaces pour travailler et des commodités pour vérifier votre courrier et imprimer un document ; enregistrement rapide et facile, chambre confortable et spacieuse, très bons équipements de salle de bain, lits confortables; Je dois toujours les écrans, ce ne sont pas des Smart TV, vous ne pouvez pas vous connecter avec vos appareils. Un avantage de cet hôtel est qu'il dispose d'un espace laverie entièrement gratuit (le savon n'est pas inclus), et pendant que vous attendez vos vêtements ou après être allé à la salle de sport, vous avez la piscine à proximité où vous pourrez vous détendre un moment. Ils ont un grand restaurant où ils servent le petit-déjeuner et le dîner, vous pouvez également opter pour l'une des offres 2x1 et happy hour qu'ils proposent, la nourriture est bonne, le service aussi, même s'il n'est pas spectaculaire, le petit-déjeuner est assez varié mais le café est dû, les fois où nous avons commandé du café, il faisait toujours froid et pas si bon au goût, nous avons donc dû faire le café dans la chambre, ce qui était bien mieux. En général c'est un séjour pour ceux qui sont de passage et qui veulent avoir tout le confort sans sortir de l'hôtel, pour moi 4 sur 5, j'y retournerais.

  Positive: Shuttle and proximity to airport and shopping. Front desk and restaurant folks were very kind. Negative: Comparing to previous experiences in similar San Jose hotels it seemed more expensive for the overall facility.

  I have stayed elsewhere in the past but I will always choose this hotel to begin my trips in Costa Rica. Really close to the airport. Reliable shuttle every 30 minutes. Walmart is next door and large City Mall across the street. Everything you need to prepare for your vacation is within walking distance. Perhaps the most important to me is a large breakfast that is reasonably priced.

  This location was perfect for getting to the airport. I am so glad we chose to stay here the last night of our trip. The staff was so welcoming, the amenities were great, and the location felt safe and secure. We felt so assured being close to the airport that our departure the next day would be smooth, and it definitely was. If I ever fly out of San Jose again, I will absolutely stay here again.

  Checked in on my last night before flying back to Seattle, WA. I stayed in Villa Caletas, Puntarenas Jaco for my girlfriends wedding. The Courtyard room was very nice and was relaxing. I would definitely stay there again.

  We were stuck in San Jose for a week for health reasons. The staff at Courtyard made the experience bearable. They were extremely courteous and friendly from top to bottom. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in San Jose.

  I stay every time I am in Costa Rica, the night prior to flying out. Very convenient to the airport, restaurants, shopping. Relaxing place to sit and eat, tvs, pool. Very clean, great staff, rooms are great.

  I have been living in Costa Rica for 6 months between the beach and the rainforest in a little hut. I was worried that I would feel too couped up going back to hotels, but the place was spacious and the staff are very friendly, and you can access the second floor for the swimming pool and gym whenever you want. The shuttle to the airport is free and the place is really clean, what more could you want.

  When leaving Costa Rica via the airport, one could do far worse than to stay in the Courtyard by Marriott by the airport. The rooms are very comfortable and beautifully appointed. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the included breakfast buffet is excellent. Across the street are four restaurants one can go to for dinner in the evening so one does not need a car to find a good meal. It is also in close proximity to the Covid testing site. When I will be traveling in Costa Rica again, this will be my first choice for the last night before leaving.

  The staff was super friendly, patient, and knew exactly what we needed to have done for Covid and other travel related items. The restaurant was clean, fun, and friendly. Rooms were nice, comfortable, and clean. Location was ideal and fast to get us to the airport with plenty of time to get home from our trip.

  After spending a wonderful week exploring all of the beauty and friendliness of Costa Rica and their people, we needed to get close to the airport AND get a COVID test to return to the states. The Courtyard satisfied these requirements, and we are loyal Marriott Bonvoy users plus Marriott Vacation Club owners plus Marriott credit card users. On our arrival day we were directed to their mobile app to check-in, and that was okay until we arrived and tried to get to our room without going to the front desk. That was a a disaster. Couldn't get the app to work on any door or elevator, and the staff was unable and not interested in figuring out why. They gave us a room key and that worked well. Our COVID test was scheduled for the wrong day: 5PM the next (checkout) day instead of 5PM the day we arrived. Did anyone think it odd that we would want a COVID test 8 hours after we had checked out and five hours after the plane left the airport? Fortunately the staff was able to get a doctor in that evening at 6, so we got our onsite test. The results came back in about 2 hours, but since they misspelled our names the results were of no use. Again, fortunately the staff was able to contact the doctor and get the spelling corrected, but the online United check-in app was just as poorly designed as the Marriott app and once they reject a test result you can't fix it. So we had to cross our fingers and hope we could get it fixed at the airport. We had a glass of wine which was half the size we had been served everywhere else in the country and twice as expensive. The website said there was a breakfast menu so the next day we went down for breakfast only to be told there was no menu, only a very expensive buffet. Frustrated, we decided to try something nearby and with a little effort we found a nice little local place about five minutes away where we were served a delicious breakfast with juice and coffee at about 1/3 the buffet price, and the service was excellent. The bottom line: Costa Rica is a beautiful place with beautiful and polite and friendly people just waiting to serve you and please you. Try the boutique hotels, try the small 'Soda' restaurants, and only use the big US corporate hotels and restaurants when you have to.

  Our stay was exceptional. We really appreciated the front desk being super accommodating and checking us in so seamlessly. Our rooms were clean and exactly what we needed for the one night layover stay. I appreciated the staff adhering to the Covid guidelines and not being shy about having other guests properly cover up in common areas. We grabbed a quick bite across the street and came back to enjoy a couple of glasses of wine. Our server was very attentive and we never felt rushed. The next morning I was greeted by two friendly faces ready to assist me with some coffee before breakfast. We later came down to experience the breakfast buffet. It did not disappoint, there was something for everyone! Even the pickiest of eaters could find something! Will stay again

  The Courtyard Marriott is the only place I stay now when traveling out of the country . I can always depend on clean and comfortable rooms… The staff couldn’t be more friendly . Last trip the front desk arranged for a dr to come and do the Covid test necessary to re enter the US a breeze. The food is pretty amazing . There’s no reason to leave the hotel , unless you need to shop at Walmart . Another plus .

  J'ai séjourné avec ma femme, l'attention et le traitement étaient excellents par le personnel de l'hôtel, un excellent service, la chambre était très confortable, spacieuse, propre. Le séjour a été très confortable, les parties communes étaient très bien présentées, soignées et propres, le petit déjeuner était excellent, très varié et ordonné. Quant au prix, il me semble que cela dépend de combien chaque personne est prête à payer, il me semble que c'est relatif à chaque personne, personnellement j'ai pensé que c'était juste en raison de l'excellent service reçu. Je le recommande.

  We were barely here 12 hours, as our flight was late to arrive and we were starting our adventure early the next morning. What we did experience, though, was excellent. The staff at the front desk were kind and helping, and the staff at the restaurant were willing to accommodate us when we missed breakfast and were too early for lunch. A huge tip to the weary traveler: if you just missed the shuttle and don't want to wait another half hour in the airport chaos for the next one, don't take a taxi ($15), take Uber ($2)!

  15 of us rented 5 rooms prior to flight back to the United States. Hotel is very close (5 Minute van ride) to the airport. Van runs every 30 minutes and is large and comfortable. Outdoor swimming pool great fun for the 6 kids in our party. Restaurant is convenient for groups of all sizes. There are many restaurants across at the street should you prefer another location to eat. Very convenient. Several of us had a flight delay and the hotel very generously allowed a late check out. Relieved a lot of stress. The front desk was helpful and answered many questions (our group included 6 children so we had questions about restaurants suitable for children) . Turns out the hotel restaurant was perfect. Carolina at the front desk went out of her way to help. Really enjoyed our stay and will always stay at this hotel when we need to access the airport.

  The staff here was absolutely astounding and we truly missed them when we left! Caroline, Kembley, Fernando and Sant all went out of their way to ensure that all of our needs were not only met, but exceeded! We were kindly and patiently welcomed despite our language barrier, given an excellent room for our Honeymoon stay in San Jose, they offered us a free beverage and margaritas to help us acclimatize to the ground again after a long and arduous flight which was so helpful. They gave excellent recommendations on the food there when we dined, which was also exquisite and left us feeling truly impressed. Kembley even drew us a sweet and memorable note that will go in our scrapbook. They all ensured we had all that we needed in our room, and helped call an inexpensive and reliable transportation upon our departure. This was by far the best hotel experience we have ever had, better than any Marriot hotel in the United States for sure, and it will be told as the amazing start of our Honeymoon story forever!

  After a long day of traveling we were tired and frustrated and the woman at the front desk was just what we needed. She was so kind and accommodating, even offering to have our rental car picked up for us. I wish I would have got her name! The room was also sparkling clean and comfortable and was a much needed stop before an early flight.

  Upon arriving in our room, we had a note from the GM thanking us for our Marriott loyalty and to let them know if there was anything they could help us with to make our stay better. Every time we went to the front desk, we were graciously greeted and helped. The young girl at the restaurant was so friendly and really wanted to get to know you.   This is a great place to stay if you have an early morning flight out or arrive in Costa Rica late and don't want to drive - it is about 5 minutes from the airport with a shuttle that runs every 1/2 hour. The staff are great, and it's a Marriott - you can never go wrong with a Marriott. I will definitely stay here again on future trips.

  I visited the Marriott at Alajuela for dental work. The cosmetic dentist office and the pharmacy is right across the street. The Walmart is next door and the area is very safe. The staff went far and beyond my expectations and we’re always readily available to assist me. The restaurant Centi has a wide variety of foods and the prices are reasonable. The staff in restaurant always smiled, we’re friendly and willing to assist my dietary needs. I even spoke to the house chef. Room service is amazing and I would recommend this to anyone as I felt safe, comfortable and feel like this is my home away from home!! PURA VIDA. they do live up to that name. Tku gloribel Zamora

  We only spent one night as we were leaving the next day and it was close to the airport. Eric greeted us with pure joy and thanked us for choosing the hotel. The doctor was scheduled for our Covid test and it was SOOO convenient and efficient. Had dinner in the hotel and it was good as well.

  All aspects of the hotel were wonderful for us. Great service, friendly people, very good food, and proximity to the San Jose area. I will use this hotel every time I visit San Jose. I do not like to drive in the downtown areas, so this is the perfect spot to stay and taxi to wherever I wish.

  From the moment we contacted the hotel to check in early to the time we were dropped off at the airport, the staff was really nice and helpful. The free shuttle to the airport runs every 1/2 hour from 4am. It runs on time and is a smooth process. This hotel is perfect if you're trying to catch a flight from SJO.

  We just needed a place the night we arrived and the night before we left Costa Rica. We have stayed in the other 2 hotels that are also close to the airport and this hotel is much nicer. The lobby, the food and the staff are all much better than the others. They had live music Friday night in the restaurant.

  Customer Service was excellent. My family's flight got delayed 3 days. We were moving internationally so we had ALL our belongings with us in 13 pieces of luggage. The Marriott team helped us check in, bringing our bags to our room, and helped us check out. They helped make our surprise 3 day departure delay smooth! The hotel is in walking distance from a strip mall with pharmacy and restaurants, as well as a Walmart. The hotel gym was of good quality. The beds were awesome.

  Convenient location just a few minutes from SJO airport, I found my room to be impeccably clean, comfortable and spacious with near-silent air conditioning. There are 3 great dinner options immediately outside the front entrance and hotel amenities were excellent with an outdoor pool in the sun, a spacious restaurant/bar area and a convenient lobby area with snacks, drinks, printer and lounge whilst you wait for your shuttle or flight. Excellent stay and I would return again.

  The property, the customer services, and the food exceed our expectations in every way. It was a short one night stay and the staffs made the stay so much enjoyable and pleasant. Marriott did a good job on keeping the place clean and COVID safe. The staffs at the front desk and the restaurants are always helpful, friendly and professional. The housekeeper keeps the room spotlessly clean. The food is well priced (fresh, perfectly cooked dinner under $10USD) and the dinner was so tasty and comforting after a long flight. The breakfast has good variety (yummy egg options, meats, fresh fruit, chai seed pudding, salad and many more). They also provide info and assistance to help booking COVID testing which is required prior to the flight to the States. We love it so much that we will return to stay there before our return flight back in a week! Thank you Marriott!!

  The hotel is quite close to airport. Very short shuttle. WalMart is nextdoor, easy, safe walk. A few nice restaurants are right across the street. Staff can be great or not. I was there five nights. Breakfast is good, service, not so good most of the time. I stayed in two different rooms. Both were clean, well maintained, nicely furnished. Bring your own water as they do not provide a bottle or two for free.

  j ai beaucoup ce lieux , bon service , serveurs et serveuses était très gentils avec nous , et wal-mart juste a cote super ça , service autobus pas très loin pour allée a san jose
