  In my stay I had a few issues with the lady atvthe front desk. No welcomwd greeting, no parking card given, no points offered, a bad attitude, well a disaster, however the room was excellent. I took the suite and it was really spacious and comfortable. Food deliciuos. Despite the issue with the lady the hotel is an excellent option.

  The perfect place to stay after a cruise. I was allowed to check in early. The hotel is close to Las Olas Blvd in Fort Lauderdale which has tons of shopping and dining and other things to do.

  My wife and I have stayed at this facility numerous times while cruising out of Port Everglades, however this visit left much to be desired. 1st, we were hoping to use points for our stay, but none were available, so we wound up paying a premium for our two night stay. 2nd, for what we were paying per nights stay and being a Platinum IHG member, one would think we would get some acknowledgement upon arrival, but we were treated like they were doing us a favor by providing a room. 3rd, the hotel was pretty full and only 1 elevator was functional, so that meant extreme waits for each trip up and down. The elevator seemed to stop at random floors with no buttons being selected. 4th, there was construction going on so there was very limited access to the parking garage or even the drive through, so when waiting for a cab, shuttle or Lyft... You were basically waiting in the street and blocking traffic when entering or exiting a vehicle. Also with the construction, don't expect to sleep in, even on the 11th floor we were awakened early by loud construction noise. 5th, upon departure we were not provided a statement. When trying to obtain one after our cruise I visited the IHG website only to find one was not available there. I called what was listed as the front desk number from the website only to be connected to the IHG reservation line. I was finally able to get to the hotel operator, but was treated less than kind when requesting a copy of my statement that hadn't been provided yet. Will we stay here again? If points are available probably, but for the amount we paid for this stay, I highly doubt we stay here again. They have done nothing to make a Platinum Member feel valued.

  arrived early checked bags as we got off ship they called when room was ready, we went shopping then lounged around pool relaxing, staff was very friendly. i will stay here again.

  This hotel was perfect for a pre-cruise stay as it had all necessary amenities and courteous staff. Height of bed made it difficult to access for those with limited mobility and this was the only negative. Taxi for 2 to port was $20 plus tip which is reasonable and convenient. Hotel had no issues with us using public areas from checkout time to departure time to ship at 1.45pm. Will use again.

  The hotel is undergoing some sort of renovation (it appears) which is fine. Upon arrival and AFTER we were checked in, the clerk informed us that all elevators were down and was instructed to use the service elevator or stairs. We arrived around 11pm by shuttle (which was a one hour wait at FLL airport) so a bit late to find another hotel. It was a disappointing start to what was to be a great vacation.   This was an overall good stay. I would say the best benefit to this is the location of the property; it's quite central to many shops, restaurants and venues. The property itself is quite nice and appears to be well maintained in an effort to provide the most comfortable stay. There is a lot of space throughout the property to congregate. A very decent, large and spacious check-in/out desk location which, as a travel, I appreciate - especially when it's a popular and/or large property. The rooms are equally spacious for a family of 1 to 5. We stayed for an extended time which mean we had large travel bags - as a family of 4 (2 of which are older teenagers). Bed linens are soft, comfortable and airy - which allows for a comfortable sleep. Bath linens also offer more comfort. If you're traveling to the area, I highly recommend this property.

  Took almost an hour for the shuttle bus. Dispatcher department is extremely unfriendly! Told me bus will be there before 1:00 AM. It actually arrived around 1:30 AM. If we know we will take the Uber. Not recommend anyone to say. Will avoid this property in the future.

  Arrived and check in was easy peazy. Went to room and it was fantastic. Nice big bed coffee maker, nice size tv. Check out was smooth no problems, did not have time for breakfast but heard it was good. I got my bill and I was shocked. Upon reservation I ask for a cruise and park rate and all I got was a pass to the port. Very disappointed. Had to pay $20 a day for parking. Was going to stay and extra night but I figured the already had enough of my mony.

  Because we are seniors and have mobility issues, it is very important for us to have help with our luggage. Here is what we experienced: 1) The driver from the hotel shuttle service loaded our luggage from us. 2) The driver unloaded our luggage and a porter was available to carry our luggage to our room. 3) The driver for the shuttle service to the port loaded and unloaded our luggage. 4) When we returned to the hotel after our cruise, the parking lot attendant helped my wife with her luggage (super appreciated). 5) The shuttle service to the airport loaded and unloaded our luggage. These actions are very important to us as handicapped emblemed parkers. Thank you

  I do recommend this hotel The staff is very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and the location is great if you need to be near the airport or cruise port. If you need a shuttle however, I recommend an UBER as the hotel does charge $15 per person for the airport shuttle.

  For what I paid for a room, I should not have been charged for parking. The price of dinner in the restaurant was more than what it should have been for the quality of food. The restaurant felt more like a cafeteria.

  After getting off the plane we called and was told to go u set a white canopy which we found and waited for 30 minutes and called and again and said 5 more minutes, then after a hour 15 minutes another Holiday inn van said he would take us and that it should never take this long since the property is a little over a mile away. Then when we were checking out there was no line and the people at the front desk were not going in order on who came first and I had atleast 4 different people that were helped before me and after I got mad and said something then they finally helped. This is poooooor service!!!!!

  We were immensely disappointed with our stay at this Crowne Plaza. It did not meet up with our usual expectation for a Crowne Plaza designation. For one the hotel was not easily identified from the outside. It adjoins another building in complete renovation with no signage except at the top of the building. Who looks at the sky for the name of the hotel? No street level signage or building number could be seen at least we did not find it. Then we entered the hotel from the garage parking. No elaborate front lobby entrance. We thought maybe we were entering from a rear entrance but was told the plain and boring front desk was it. We felt we were staying at a lesser hotel. We should have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express that was down the street but we chose this location because it was closer to Port Everglades. We decided to eat at the hotel restaurant because we had had a long drive and didnt’t want to venture out in the neighborhood. Big mistake. The restaurant served frozen pizza and my husband had the chicken dish that was an 8th of an inch thick, overcooked and tasteless. This restaurant charged table cloth prices for cafeteria atmosphere. I did speak to the restaurant manager who’s only reply was, I’m sorry. I cannot refund you the charges for your meal. The restaurant staff was not friendly or. Inviting. It was absolutely a strange atmosphere. We brought friends with us so we were embarrassed at the location, staff and drab hotel that is not deserving of the Crowne Plaza name.

  Beautiful decor, clean room and bathroom. Recent updates have made this feel like a luxury hotel. The room was spacious and clean. The beds are so comfortable and the pillows were perfect. The restaurant staff was friendly and the food was great! They also have a free airport shuttle!

  Hotel is convenient for staying overnight before departing cruise ships. However, after looking at car dealerships and construction for two days it seams overpriced. Some restaurant staff need training. Breakfast was horrible. Overall hotel staff was nice and polite.

  One issue that is prevalent in the Fort Lauderdale are is that most hotels are geared toward hosting the Cruise-Passenger for one or two nights; and Crown Plaza is no exception. This is normal, but not great for longer-term business travelers. Issues such as broken shower doors, room setup, amenities, etc... they are all small issue but they add up. Most of the staff is AMAZING, and they attempt to help, but it's pretty obvious that they are limited by the management / owners in their ability to assist. (there also appears to be a training issue with the maintenance staff. This has been brought to the front desk's attention.) It is also pretty obvious that the owners of this property are spending the bare minimum to keep the property functional and approved. Rooms are good enough, but just barely. Your opinions may vary, this is subjective... but based on my stay here I would be hesitant about staying again.

  The Hotel was undergoing a renovation that we were unaware of. This created some inconveniences, the main one being Kiki’s Restaurant and lounge. The Temporary facility was functional but most definitely lacked the ambiance of what will be the renovated Kiki’s. I’m sure once the renovation is completed the Hotel will be much, much more desirable! All things considered and other than the current renovation which should be ending soon, I would highly recommended this Hotel!

  This Crown Plaza exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it. The staff was incredible. See my earlier comment about why. Due to confusion I did not sign up in advance for the courtesy bus. The lady at the desk apologized. Called a cab, checked on the status and provided me cab fare from the property to the airport.

  There were details that for this price point I think should be addressed. We stayed here at the beginning and end of our trip. In each room the door had noticeable damage at bottom. Bathroom door and shower door had hinge hardware rusting. The room doors slam very easily causing disturbance to sleep. And being charged for parking as a guest is disappointing. Positive note the beds were comfortable and clean, room was large, appliances seemed clean, and towels were decent. Note there is no complimentary breakfast, shuttle for cruise is 15 a person. So it would be cheaper to call an Uber if you have a big group and there is a $15 a day for parking.

  I enjoyed my stays at the Crowne Plaza. However, as I am 4' 11", I could hardly get into bed. It was too high. I am also elderly, so a bed that is lower would be my preference. I loved your property, and enjoyed Kiki's. But, in the future, I will have to stay somewhere else.

  All was excellent, just no hot water in shower and air con was a bit noisy. Loved the beach location and the pool decks. Super nice staff too. Parking was secure which was important as I had a lot of stuff left in the car overnight. Salt and pepper shakers and small milk packets would be nice in the kitchen as additions. Very clean overall.

  Great location. Horrible parking situation pulling into a parking deck with limited space, if you have a luggage carrier on top of you suv forget about parking. Hotel is clean for the most part shower was not really clean and found hair on 2 towels.

  I love this hotel. It's close to the airport and cruise terminal. They have an airport shuttle. And transportation to the cruise terminal. Unfortunately, it was under construction when we were there, so a few things were closed. But overall I would recommend it. And will stay again in the future.

Restaurant is up and running but it was a little pricey for us. The pool is not open yet but we did not need a pool as we were just staying overnight. Enjoyed our stay and will stay again.   The beds are like sleeping on clouds! The views are awesome, from the city side rooms. The hotel is under construction/ remodeling but was hardly noticeable. The cruise part shuttle is hreat although a bit on expensive side for only going across the street.

  I only planned to stay one night at the crowne plaza to wait for the rest of my group to get to Florida for a bachelor party. Two other people were coming the next day and planned to stay at another hotel and I liked this hotel since the moment I arrived that I made a recommendation to stay here. They agreed and I made the extension for another night for a room with 2 queens. The process and the adjustment to add a car to the deal was super easy and didn't take any time. Extremely helpful and friendly staff that will greet you every time you walk in. Even if you were only gone for 5 minutes! Which makes me feel comfortable and welcomed. Beds were super soft, bathrooms were pretty clean, overall room was clean and tidy. The bar located on the 5th floor has a nice liquor selection at reasonable price. Attached is a restaurant that offers a variety of items. I chose the fettuccine Alfredo which was pretty good compared to most fine dining food. I definitely will stay here every time I fly to ft Lauderdale. Great overall experience

  Positive: Staff were all very friendly and they allowed us to check in early. Negative: There were brown stains on the sheets and the towels. Also, there is no option for dim lighting for reading at night. The lights next to the bed are extremely bright, borderline fluorescent.

  The original, nicely appointed bar and restaurant was closed, allegedly for renovation. The on-line pictures when I booked the room, however, made no mention of this and showed the previous, nicely appointed restaurant/bar. The temporary restaurant/bar was merely a small meeting room, drably decorated, with tables and a TV. NOT what I was expecting. I feel the on-line ad was extremely misleading.

  Positive: There was a free shuttle to/from the airport and cruise terminal. Very comfortable beds and very spacious room. The décor was inviting. Negative: Our shuttle driver was 30 minutes late. We had reserved our shuttle during check-in. He did a u-turn without notice and I almost went out the door, from sliding across the bench seat (my fault as I didn't have my seatbelt on, yet, I guess).

  Room was nice size. Our A/C did not work. Extremely hot in our room - 80 degrees although thermostat was set at 65. We were in room 1105. Informed front desk of this and I heard ee call maintenance to come check it out, but maintenance never came. A friend that was with us was in 1106 and her room was extremely cold - below 70 degrees and thermostat set at maximum temp. My husband and I and our friend are not on the tall side and over 70 years old. The beds are extremely high off the floor for us to get in and out of without great difficulty. My husband has mobility and back problems and getting in and out of the bed was extremely difficult for him.

  Approaching the hotel by car, was a little curious how the stay would be as it's very near the airport and a little industrial in the surrounding area. However, the inside of the hotel is an oasis! Check in was simple, fast, courteous, and pro-active. The clerk heard that my co-workers were on a different floor and proactively changed my room so I would be near them. The room was sparkling clean and very comfortable; with a nice arrangement of a sitting area. After a busy day, we decided to eat at the hotel restaurant and were not at all disappointed with the decision; food and service was great. Apparently there are some final touches yet to be done with the remodel but you'd never know it by the guest areas. Will definitely stay here again when I'm in the area.

The restaurant food was good, good selection and great service however, the location was in a "mini" relocate area while new construction is happening. The pool was nice and refreshing! Location for our activity was perfect!

  This is our third stay at this property. The convenience is hard to beat. Land at FLL, the shuttle picks you up, then the hotel contracted shuttle takes you to the cruise port in the morning. Staff is always wonderful and helpful. There was a downside this time due to renovations negatively impacting the restaurant, lobby and store. The elevator had temporary plywood flooring and smelled terrible. We’ll be back once the renovations are completed.

  We chose Crown Plaza due its location to the Fort Lauderdale Cruise Port and for the Price. We were disappointed when we arrived and it was being renovated. Our room was clean and had everything needed to the night. The restaurant appeared to be in renovation and we didn't use it. We didn't see any gift shops inside the Hotel. The kids did enjoy the pool. Great location near the Cruise Port in Fort Lauderdale.

  I stayed here on business. It was in a good location for it. The staff was very helpful and polite. The room was large and quiet and clean. The only issue I found was airport pick up to the hotel wasn't prompt and also the van didn't have the crown plaza name on the van, but rather other hotel conglomerates on the side. Going to the airport was fine. Other then that the stay and hotel was fine.

  Booked through booking.com Room was excellent. We arrived late so weren't able to make use of many of the amenities. Hotel is under construction which has one of the elevators shut down making it very busy at check out time. Fortunately staff was looking for those on different floors who were waiting and offered to escort them to the front lobby using the service elevator. Airport pick up and cruise port shuttle service were both excellent.

  We booked two rooms using points for a pre cruise stay. Gentleman at the check in did not recognize us as IHG members. He had a difficult time checking us in, never had that problem before. Put us in on 2 different floors and he did not realize his mistake till we told him. The other gentlemen, James, was very helpful. Hotel shuttle from the airport was quick on picking the 6 of us up.

  the cleaners we professional,, did there job well. The receptionist was very helpful with finding us food locations. (We had 17 in 4 rooms. and showed up in one large group). The staff worked to accommodate our early arrival...at 1pm....we had rooms within 1/2 hr. The pool was clean and in good repair. The only negative which was minor was noise in lobby due to poor design... it seemed to echo...all hard surfaces. Nothing to soften the sound - it did make it look clean

  This hotel is conveniently located near the airport. Even though I didn’t use the shuttle, it’s very convenient to have that available to and from the hotel. Upon arrival I was greeted by James who was very helpful, courteous and polite. The restaurant in the hotel was about to close he made sure to call to let them know that I needed to order some food and sure enough they waited for us.

  The staff greeted us in the early morning areas as our flight was delayed. They were very helpful and welcoming. The lobby was tastefully decorated. It was very clean. Airport shuttle was timely. Great hotel. Will stay again.

  Positive: The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and nicely appointed. Very close to the airport, and the convenient shuttle was much appreciated. Our plane arrival was very late, but the wait for the shuttle was not long. Negative: We had breakfast in the restaurant and the service was great but the food was just OK.

  Positive: We had 2 one-night stays recently and found the rooms to be among the nicest we've stayed in in this star range. Nice job folks. The hotel is close to the airport. Our room was quiet and the bed was extremely comfortable. Negative: The only disappointment we experienced was in the somewhat tenuous shuttle service. The service was not totally reliable. This does not take away from our opinion of the hotel. If you have shuttle service, it should work smoothly.

  Du au congé de l'action de grâces, il n'y avait aucun véhicule à louer pour les clients de l'hotel et ou les prix avaient été majorés à l'extrême

  experiénce du 27 décembre 2017 pour une nuit, la chambre était propre, le déjeuner inclus était très bien aussi, le restaurant sur place pour le souper manque un peu en qualité pour le prix, coté service: on vient vous chercher gratuitement a l'aéroport et on demande $8/personne pour se rendre au port de croisière le lendemain, belle piscine et lieux propre sans odeur aux étages. je recommande.
