very close to SFO and work meetings. easy parking and very, very helpful workers. Clean and nice outside view to the garden. Would highly recommend if you need to stay near SFO but not too close at the crazy busy area.

This is an amazing location. It has fantastic value for the money (pool, spacious rooms, extreme cleanliness, restaurant inside, close proximity to everything, and warm and polite employees. There's no better place to stay within 20 miles of SF. Free parking and great weather. The hotel couldn't be managed any better. Highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for a quick adventure day with my 5 yo. The rates were very reasonable given the quality of stay. The room and bathroom were very clean, bed was comfy, staff was very friendly and helpful and the pool was actually warm enough to swim comfortably. They also have a fire pit going all day/night in the courtyard which is a nice touch.

This hotel is old and not well kept. My room smelt of cigarettes, towels were grungy and sheets were rough. No one was working at Starbucks. Staff is lovely.

Rooms are dark with terrible lighting. If you need to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom there is no way to put on a night light. You either need to put on a light at full capacity or stumble in the dark. There is a green light that is attached to a smoke detector or some other object that is on all night over the bed. The room smelled stuffy. The furnishings in the room were outdated and drab. The hot tub was horrible. The room in which the pool and hot tub was in was so depressing and cold. I will never stay here again. I had a very hard time sleeping in this room. There is a QR code on the TV to connect your Netflix account, but once you do you are unable to watch Netflix because the television is not the proper type. This was extremely frustrating because we tried over and over and over again to figure this out. We assumed if they offered it on the television set then it was a service the hotel offered! Finally, we called the front desk who thought they might have a fix for the problem but it did not work. On a bright note, the staff was unbelievably friendly, from the front desk to housekeeping. I can't say enough good things about the staff! Even when just passing someone in the hallway you would get a friendly hello or they also might ask if you needed any sort of assistance and you could tell there was a friendly smile behind their mask :)

Had business in South Bay and had this hotel booked due to it's location. Arrived very late, 1 a.m., to a locked door and greeted THROUGH THE LOCKED GLASS DOOR by attendant where questions were asked before she would allow me access. This is all at 1 a.m. and rather brisk temperature, 40's, in a vestibule without heat. This is drew up red flags as to whether the location was secure or whether my physical appearance warranted this treatment. During check in was told there is a parking fee to my surprise....parking spots in the area were in abundance! It was 1am and I needed to be gone by 6 so I was not arguing or going to move my vehicle to an adjacent property. Room itself is large and functional but very dated, circa 1970s; bathroom sink is outside the actual bathroom.

Aloha! This is a great hotel to stay at. Close to the freeways & in the heart of Foster City. Great service and the staff here is so friendly. We love staying here and feel very safe every time. I always feel at home when we stay here. We highly recommend staying here! Mahalo Courtyard Marriott!

We stayed 5 nights with back to back reservations. Not once was there turndown service. They said their services for turndown were booked but they would refresh the room for our second reservation. They never did. The trash was never taken out of the room. We had asked someone to do it and they never did, so we had to put the bins in the hall until someone came about. We had 2 adults and a child in the room and there was only 2 towels, so we called for one more. Towels weren’t even refreshed in our time there aside from when we called for them to be. Also the walls are thin, so you hear everything.

Our daughter was traveling back to the University and we stayed over for the night. The place was conveniently located (Starbucks & Jamba Juice across the driveway). Also it was easy for DoorDash delivery (since there’s no food services due to COVID), we ended up ordering foods for delivery. The place is located closed to many stores and different food choices. Will be staying there again!

Very good quiet location, nearby dining, nice property, great staff. On-property dining was limited (probably covid-related) but that did not affect my experience. Pool and gym. Would definitely stay here again.

The stay and service was wonderful! Clean and quality facility, we were very happy with our stay. No complementary breakfast was a big downside compared to other places. My biggest complaint was there was no microwave in the room to prepare or have our own food in lieu of providing complementary breakfast!! Our options were only a very expensive breakfast bar/vending machines in the lobby, fast food, or very busy dine-in options near by. Nightly parking fee is additional cost and not included in fees.

Can’t go wrong here. Location is great. Grocery and CVS almost next door. Starbucks Jamba and Chinese restaurant in same complex. Farmers market (maybe weekends only I forget) next door too. Lots of other great Foster City restaurants close by. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Rooms are always clean. Their courtyard is quite nice. There’s an indoor pool. The laundry is kinda expensive but I don’t think that’s a negative it keeps it clean so it’s worth it if you need it.

Amenities greatly reduced no more daily bottled water. No small toiletries. No luggage rack (had to ask). Bath towels not as thick as before. Pricier than nearby competitors. Staff friendly.and helpful.

Great location but still quiet area! Overall everything was pleasant, my only issue was with the bed and the AC. The bed is placed in a weird location to the tv, you have to turn your head instead of looking straight so it strained my neck often. The AC cannot and will not stay on even when you set it to the lowest, so it got hot at night.

Positive: This was our second stay at this hotel and returned because we enjoyed the comfort and location. Negative: We were given wrong directions on Door B to enter and had to walk a long ways to the room. The next morning we were weakened from a string sewer smell coming from sink. The entire bathroom smelled and we could hardly use it. We notified management.

Beautiful little city! The beds in the hotel are so comfortable and I love that each room has its own patio. The indoor pool and spa is very clean and beautiful and I love the late check out !

Staying at the Courtyard Marriott for 4 nights, I received the best service I have ever received at a hotel. Staff were friendly, quick to help & followed all Covid protocols. The check in was quick & everything was explained to me about how room service works & etc. We made a few request for towels & some dishes so we could make our own snack in the room & they were quick to deliver. We used the pool every night &!it was always stocked with fresh towels. Parking was easy. The rooms/halls were quiet. The fire pit, gym & pool Areas were always clean & welcoming. Excellent location with walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, library and a huge beautiful park with a lagoon. Easy to get to from the freeway. Central location for San Francisco, Oakland & San Jose. My travel was with family, however, I travel for work & I would definitely make this my spot to stay for San Francisco business.

Great location. Very walkable to local markets and stores. Good listing of restaurants and eateries from DoorDash and UberEats and Grubhub servicing TJ is area and delivering to the property. The staff, in sum, are a beautiful group of people. Well versed in their specialties and delivering phenomenal customer service at every opportunity. This experience was hospitality at its finest given the chain and indicative of overall rating prior to check in. The WiFi connection was not consistent. Not a challenge to log back on, but kicked off enough to make this an observable problem worth noting. The food offerings at the sundry shop located just off the side of the front desk really should be expanded/enhanced given the reduced menu and services from the cafe - in light of (and totally reasonable considering...) the Covid environment we’re all living in. But really - I think a conference with procurement and reviewing the budget/sales to allow for an expanded menu would be well worth a conversation or an intensive Zoom call. The Residence Inn allows guests with Netflix accounts to sign in just once and the login is good for their entire stay. At this property, you need to login every single time and from every room. I’d suggest looking into how login services can be streamlined to allow 1X login that lasts the entirety of the guest stay and logs out upon checkout or permits manual log out. Otherwise....Superb property & stay! I would recommend.

The hotel is conveniently located near the end of 92E and provides easy access to the freeways. It is also near the shops, restaurants, and gas stations. The hotel is still very quiet because it is located a few blocks away from all of these. The front desk was very kind and seemed to know how to communicate with business travelers like me. Highly recommend.

Great stay at the Courtyard San Mateo Foster City! Easy checkin, super location, and wonderful staff. During this stay, I did not take advantage of the dining services (breakfast) available, nor did I utilizer the pool or fitness room. My room was adequately supplied with linens negating the need for daily room maintenance services. There were no issues parking my car at the end of the day as parking in the vicinity of my room was plentiful. The Courtyard San Mateo Foster City will be at the top of the list of consideration should I visit the area in the future.

Courtyard by Marriott was wonderful. Though I stayed one evening, my stay was wonderful. Staff was friendly and helpful. Both room and lobby was clean. Appreciated the hand sanitizer stations and wipes in the room. Location is combiner, near other restaurants and across from Costco. Outside was clean and lots of parking. Easy to find. Bed was comfortable, room spacious. Front desk was great. Eager to help and also accepted food delivery and called when they received it. Thank you

We went to visit our daughter in San Mateo and this Courtyard was the perfect location to make our visit. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable and the thermostat worked to perfection. We will definitely use this Courtyard again for our next trip to Northern California.

The indoor pool was great, and I loved the courtyard area with the firepit. Everyone was really friendly, and the hotel was nice and quiet. I did not hear my neighbors or anybody above us, at all! The location was great. It was only about 15 minutes from SFO airport, and 30 minutes from the San Francisco Zoo. I don't like staying in San Francisco, so this drive was okay for me. This hotel feels high-end without breaking the bank. I would definitely stay here again.

10 Stars!!! We've been staying at this hotel weekly since Mid March 2021 since we moved our residence to Henderson, Nevada and continue doing business in San Mateo and San Francisco. Sheila at the front desk has been a Godsend for us as we check in late most evenings. She ALWAYS provides us great service with a smile & accommodates our needs/requests promptly without hesitation. Sheila and all the team members do a fantastic job of making us feel right at home. We love staying there due to the close and convenient proximity to our office and to all the places we frequent. Marriott Courtyard was a great place to stay while visiting the Bay Area. It has a very central location if you plan to be traveling to San Francisco, Silicon Valley and East Bay all in the same trip. Staff was very friendly and got me settled in quickly and with warm welcomes. I felt safe there too and felt my room was clean and ready for my arrival. They even provided antibacterial wipes in our room if we felt the need to clean a bit more. They have a bistro on-site, but I didn’t get to use on this trip. Across the way, there’s a Starbucks, Jamba Juice, Noah’s Bagels and a Chinese restaurant that offers other options as well. Only challenge is the location of the elevator which is a bit far from the Front Desk, but there are plenty of stairwells you can take when you’re not lugging your suitcases and they are convenient to use and safe. It’s a 2-story hotel except one section that’s 3-stories, but it’s by the elevator at least. Overall, I enjoyed my stay there and will come again the next time I am in town.

This updates are excellent! It's very modern and upscale. It feels high quality but for a reasonable price. I loved facing the courtyard. You can watch your Netflix, HBO or Amazon Prime through the TV. Don't miss the circular couch- very comfy and fun. Customer service was excellent and it was quiet and clean.

Clean, quiet and comfortable room, but there wasn't even a blanket on the bed, just a very lightweight cotton cover. Towels were scratchy and low quality. I would have appreciated an extra blanket in the closet; by the time I realized I was going to be cold, I was too tired to call the front desk for a blanket, so I draped two scratchy towels over the coverlet.

My family and I spent one night in the courtyard San Mateo Foster City prior to a flight out of SFO. The room was very clean, guest services was very attentive when additional linens were needed. It was a quick and efficient drive to SFO the next morning. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great experience - staff was friendly and accommodating, Starbucks and Jamba Juice are just outside the hotel doors and the hotel is conveniently located next to several other shopping areas and food as well as the freeway. Rooms were clean and nice little balconies. Affordable price and parking was waived probably due to Covid.

The location is great, within 1 block of Leo Ryan park, Safeway, Costco, ATMs, and Mc Donald’s, in between Hillsdale and 92 exits of 101. Free parking, WiFi and coffee 24 hours a day. Front desk personnel are very friendly and helpful. There is a coin laundry and soap packets for sale and rolls of quarters available at front desk. I would highly recommend.

Courtyard is located very close to prime amenities. The room was clean and staff was friendly. There were several restrictions due to the pandemic, but the overall stay was great. It a value for money place.

This property is a Great Hotel in a Great City next to Fashion Island. The property is a Green Property and has a non-smoking policy and has put very comprehensive measures in place during COVID 19. The Hotel has made an intentional effort to keep the hotel extra clean due to COVID 19. The King Suite is very comfortable, everything needed for a business traveler, and my room was very, very clean. The pillows were fluffed on the bed and the bedding smelled like fresh linen and was very white and starched. The carpets were very clean and in really good condition. The room has cherry wood furniture, including a work desk, dresser drawers, and a small refrigerator enclosed behind a wooden cabinet. Although there is no coffee maker or microwave provided upon check-in. The hotel staff did accommodate me with a complimentary microwave. The bathroom was very clean and fully stocked with fresh towels and wash clothes and Paul Mitchell shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner in a mounted canister within the shower. Very Nice. There are laundry services available on the second floor and also a dry cleaning service available. The room was very quiet and easy to rest. The staff is very professional and accomodating and made my stay comfortable. You feel like they appreciate your business. I enjoyed my stay. Thank You, Marriott.

Our quick stay was just enough to help us relax. The rooms and facility were clean and welcoming. We swam and played at the pool which was very refreshing. The only draw back was paying for parking, but that is normal in that area. We will definitely be back!

While the team's customer service at this location is excellent, there were cleanliness issues and some damage that needs to be addressed. I experienced long, black hairs in my towels and bed. Also, the outlets and shower faucet were loose in my room. Finally, I saw a lot of spiders in the common area hallways for multiple days, so it doesn't seem like the maintenance team is paying attention.

I've been staying at this property for many years and always found it to be well kept, exceptionally clean and extremely comfortable. However, I was dismayed and disappointed to find on last weeks trip that they started charging for parking. In my opinion this is nothing more than a money grab because there is plenty of space at the hotel and surrounding area. To prove that it's easy money, the hotel did not put up gates, but asks you when you check in whether you have a car and then issues you a yellow slip of paper to place in the windshield. In all the years I've been staying here I have never once encountered a parking problem - not once - even when the hotel was completely sold out, which is often. And it can't be an issue with people using their parking lot and walking over to other businesses because during the daytime the lot is always empty. Historically, the reason I stayed here was due to its free parking. It looks like I'll have to find another place to stay for now on, which is a shame because I really like this Courtyard.

My family came on this trip for a vacation. We were very shocked to learn upon arrival that the pool was closed throughout our stay and that we did not get any notice while booking or prior to our arrival. The pool had been closed for some time so notice could have been given. The pool was one of the main reasons for staying at this hotel as we brought our 4 year old son with us. The room was very spacious and we enjoyed the layout and décor. The mattress was worn out and dipped very far down in the middle, showing lots of use. The gym was great and I enjoyed the water, towels, and headphones (I forgot to pack mine). The Starbucks in the lobby provided excellent service and food. I will say the lack of pool use put a big damper on the trip as we planned to use it each day of our stay.

Excellent manager and team! The staff at this location work together like a finely tuned instrument. They are efficient, happy, inviting and service oriented whenever I engage and they are also great at providing privacy for their guests. I book regularly with this hotel and seeing the consistency of great visitor care now for the past 3 years is reassuring! The hotel is in a good location mid-peninsula with a courtyard and a park walking distance. Shopping is close by and the bistro is more than just a place to eat. I highly recommend this location because it's overall great, and it excels because of the staff.

I liked the equipment in the fitness room. Good up-to-date equipment. That isn't always the case even at Marriotts. However, I thought the fitness room was warm and there didn't seem to be any way to adjust to make the room cooler. In fact it was actually hot in there. I really thought it was cool that you had a fire pit outside. I sat outside almost every night relaxing by it. Very cool.

After the renovation, not a bad hotel to stay. Furnishing and fixtures are new and clean. Not sure how long this will last. Overall, having foam pillow options, comfy bed and strong pressure shower meets my needs. The laundry vendor also does a great job on my laundry. All said, breakfast needs improvement as sunny side up eggs and chicken sausage was served soaked in oil and over cooked.

This hotel was great! We stayed in the king bed sweet which was clean the bed was incredibly comfortable. I saw one other reviews that they complemented the bed and how comfortable it was. I wish right now I would’ve seen what mattress they’re using because I wanted at my house. The customer service while checking in was top notch. And there’s a Starbucks basically right across the street. Fantastic location!

We stayed here for four nights from December 29 through January 1 for a family get together. The hotel is excellent for all the reasons Marriott is known for. It is very convenient to a Starbucks a short walk across the parking lot. It is very convenient to a Costco also within a short walk. A large shopping center and many restaurants are within short drives from the hotel. Sound insulation from the corridors can be an issue but that is something that seems common to most hotels these days. Sound insulation from outside noises is quite good.

The front desk staff was very kind and efficient. The lobby was very warm and welcoming. The rooms were updated, but the beds a bit too stiff for us. Overall, would stay again.

We booked adjoining rooms for seven adults and one infant with two queen beds in each for three nights. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, staff were very friendly and helpful, hotel was up to date and in a nice neighborhood. The only problems we had was the tub in one of the rooms did not drain properly for the duration of the stay and there was a problem with the hotel's boiler one day that left us with no hot water. This was repaired within 24 hours. Price seemed a little high but I am not familiar with the area so maybe not. The hotel did drop the price on one of the rooms $25.00 for one night for the trouble we experienced. I felt they could have done better but did not have the time or inclination to argue upon checkout. I would probably stay here again and give them a second chance based upon the positives of the stay.

This is an exceptional hotel. I was greeted by friendly staff, the room was clean, comfortable and we'll appointed. Who would have thought room coffee would be that good. The Foster City location is excellent. Coming from the desert nearby water is a treat. Loved my short stay.l

Positive: An idea to give points for having no room cleaning service for a day is good. It really helps to save efforts and the environment. Negative: 1) Pillows are really bad. I was told that this is a new policy at Courtyard to have only foam pillows of the same size. They do not match my needs at all, I felt really bad after sleeping a night on such a pillow, it gives an unpleasant feeling and it's too high for me. I had a pain in the neck and shoulder, and the only way I succeeded to stay in the hotel for a week was that I used a smaller sofa pillow as a workaround. I think that it is essential for a hotel to have feather low-profile pillows. If you there are no such pillows in each room, they would better be available on demand. 2) Recent renowation looks really odd: gray carpet with painted spots is a great idea to hide real spots if someone spills a coffee on the carpet, but it makes me feeling that the carpet is dirty even if it is not. The whole design of the hotel is too darkish. 3) One washing machine and one dryer in a guest laundry room are absolutely not enough for a hotel of this size. 4) It's impossible to book a time slot in a guest laundry, and it's very annoying. Installing a tablet with simple booking application might help a lot. Also, it is essential to display which guest's laundry is currently in the machines, because next customer must have an ability to call a person who accidentally forgot to pickup their stuff from the machines in time. I had quite a bad time waiting until someone picks up their laundry from the dryer for an hour at midnight, and finally nobody came, and I had to dry my laundry in my room manually, which was totally bad experience. The receptionist said they are unable to help. 5) There is a laundry bag in the room, and a piece of paper with prices of the laudnry service attached to it. However, if one asks a receptionist how one can give a bag of clothes to have them washed and ironed, it appears that this service is not available in the hotel, which is quite odd and misleading. 6) A single elevator located at the side opposite to the reception (instead of closer location) is also a disadvantage, unless you like walking your two heavy suitcases along the corridors at the time of checkin and checkout. 7) Walls between rooms are thin and absolutely NOT noise-proof. Listening to people having their adult entertainment in the room next to yours all the night is not what a regular guest would enjoy.

We loved this property and have stayed there twice a year for several years; it's been our first choice for team tournaments due to the nice common areas, warm pool, service, and restaurant. This last stay was our last, though. The menu was downgraded and the bar was understaffed; I waited fifteen minutes at one point then left as the attendant was too busy preparing food to help me. The worst part, though, was that we were travelling with small children and our suite climate controller would not stop blowing cold air. We had to call the front desk multiple times; three different people were sent and none of them fixed it. My family huddled under five blankets per bed, and we were offered a room change at 11:30 pm. Everyone was asleep. I had to tell them to wake up someone who could fix it instead. They finally got it fixed at about one in the morning. On no sleep, we asked for a late checkout and tried to nap. Despite the sign on the door, the maids knocked. We explained we had a late checkout, then they came back in a half hour and knocked again, so loudly they woke the kids up. It was MISERABLE night. As platinum members, I mentioned it all politely at checkout and the attendent just nodded and said to report it somewhere else; no effort was made to offer a discount or points or anything whatsoever to make it right. It's a shame; this used to be the best place to stay for things at the convention center in terms of value, amenities, cheap good eats in walking distance, and nice options at the bistro.

This was a hotel listed on Maker Faire website, but there was no nearby shuttle nor easy public transportation. We used Uber. The hotel was nice. The restaurant is more like a cafe with wine and beer and a few entrees. It was fine, especially considering there wasn't much in walking distance (other than bagels and coffee). The restaurant was overwealmed by Maker Faire crowds (meaning everyone was trying to have breakfast and leave at the same time). The pool was out of order, but the staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and the bed was comfortable.

There is ample free parking. The lobby is modern and the reception desk is excellently staffed. The hallways are long and not well lit. The rooms are spacious and modern. The bathrooms are very nice. However, the bed was not that comfortable, and some noise came through the door from the adjacent room early in the evening.

Two of us stayed here the week before Christmas, to be near family and within walking distance of relatives living at Atria. Easy to come and go, room was comfortable, hotel was quiet. No complaints of note. Comfy king bed with lots of pillows, extra blankets in closet, comfortable sofa for reading. . . not an upscale hotel but not a bare-bones place by any means. Less expensive than nearby hotels and suites. Free on-site parking is definitely a positive, as was the free internet (after signing up for Marriott Rewards, which was also free).

I picked this hotel for it’s convenient location to freeways, restaurants and free parking. It’s not just free, it’s plentiful and outdoor style where you enter the side door closest to your room so you never have to deal with circling around a parking structure or dealing with long walks through the lobby and hallways. The room furnishings are so beautiful as well as comfortable! That curved couch you see in the online pictures is so comfortable!!! We loved it while we binge watched Netflix through their smart tv. We brought our appletv but didn’t need it because their tv did it all! The windows actually open so we enjoyed the fresh air of the Bay Area, never used the AC, just kept that window open all the time. We were on the top floor and it was so quiet. Could not hear people walking down the hallways or the slamming doors you usually hear in hotels. It was incredible how quiet it was. There were only two drawbacks for us...one is the extremely low water pressure and extremely small pool. Having a Starbucks so close was important too.

We came in for a quick stop over and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and efficiency of the staff. The check-in went very quickly (as I'd received an alert on my phone to check in) everything was ready and I was given great instructions on how to get to my room and the best area to park. We were very happy with the size of the room and the bed was comfortable. The internet worked well. We would recommend to others.

Clean, well maintained and staffed with kind, knowledgeable folks. This place has become our family's spot for a pleasant getaway. The pool is wonderful, and the rooms more than comfortable! The bistro has great drinks and good food for any time when you don't want to go even the short distance to nearby restaurants.

The location was perfect for us, the hotel has been recently renovated so the rooms and lobby are like new. The staff and service was superb. The room was very nice, but it would be nice if we could have a continuous running fan, rather than a fan that comes on and goes off when the air conditioner comes on and goes off. The free parking is one of the primary reasons we chose this hotel. There is another Marriott that is closer to the family members we were visiting, but the parking fee was something like $25 per day. We don't pay for parking. This hotel, however, was still very close to family, and it was very quiet, and the bistro/lobby has a pretty good food selection, as well as a Starbucks! The location of this hotel was also very close to restaurants and shops.

Staying there for my daughter's tournament the hotel was very relaxing from swimming in the pool to spa time to relax sore muscle was great. The staff are very nice and pleasant and I enjoyed chatting with them. Overall I enjoyed. The stay. As I have with all the Marriott hotels I been in.

The hotel is at a great location in Foster City. The staff was great and accommodating. The rooms are quiet and clean. We have stayed here many times and enjoy the property. One problem though, the rooms are so comfortable, it is hard to get out on time! You will enjoy. The property is only about 20 to 30 minutes to San Francisco. Great location and access a bonus.

We stayed one night here on the weekend. They gave us a room on the third floor at the end of a long hallway. It was very quiet and clean. I liked that it had a slider to open for fresh air. I also liked that it had a small sofa & ottoman. The bed & pillows were extremely comfortable. I recommend this hotel if you're in the area.

Visiting family in the area and the Courtyard was very convenient and provided a great place to rest up after a day with the grandchildren and prepare for the next day. Clean, spacious and comfortable rooms were all we could ask for. Recent renovation and upgrade had made this an even more pleasant place to stay. Will return!

This Marriott was ultra modern and extremely clean. The check in agent was extremely friendly and very nice. The hotel is only 2 floors and I was originally concerned about staying on the first floor; however, it was really nice as the first floor rooms open to a courtyard and the sliding doors have a secure locking bar. This Marriott was extremely clean and the staff went out of their way to make sure that you felt welcomed.

This was our first time here, and it was excellent. Rooms are being renovated, so it will only get better. Extremely clean, front desk and bartending staff were great and attentive.Did not here noise in the room from neighbors, and excellent location with Costco across the street, and Starbucks and Jamba Juice across the parking lot. Freeway access nearby, so overall very convenient. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for the great stay!

We stayed two days. We were in town for the memorial service for a family member. Room was clean and maintained. Unlike some of the other Courtyards we've stayed, we were able to order a reasonably priced breakfast on the premises which was very convenient. It would have been nice to have breakfast included in stay, but really doesn't change my opinion of hotel stay. All of the staff we encountered were kind and accommodating. Hotel was conveniently located in area. The staff, as a very nice gesture, presented us with a condolence card for the loss of our relative. Very nice personal touch and very much appreciated at such a difficult time.

I haven't been back in the area for several years and was very pleasantly surprised that the hotel had undergone some renovations and updates. It was very comfortable and the staff were great. The check in process was quick, as well as the check-out process, as I used the mobile application to check out. There is a Starbucks, Pieology, Jamba Juice and Noah's Bagels just across the parking lot. Very convenient!! Great stay...would highly recommend.

Our stay at this hotel was positive. There were several food and beverage options within walking distance and it is just a short drive to San Francisco. The pool was indoors, heated and well maintained. The hotel was clean but furnishings were a bit outdated but this didn't bother our family. Plenty of electrical outlets for charging electronic devices and free wi fi. We used the sofa bed for sleeping and it wasn't horrible, not super comfortable but better than others we have used. Starbucks and Jamba Juice were right next door to the hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I went to the Courtyard San Mateo Foster City for an early Valentine's get-away and left our children with their grandmother. We chose the location for its proximity to San Francisco and to the lagoon nearby. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and gave us a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful suite with a balcony and view of the courtyard. The room was beautiful and everything was working properly. We enjoyed the fitness center with its choices of machines and individual televisions that could be used at each station as a "reward" for exercise. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The location was also helpful in that it was close to a dance studio in San Mateo that we took a drop-in class at and there were plenty of restaurant and shopping opportunities nearby. My husband said that the restaurant staff did a great job on the coffee he ordered there (and he is picky!). The staff were all very helpful. We had a very short drive to the Legion of Honor Museum in San Francisco the next day and had a great trip over all. We would recommend staying at this property and plan to return there ourselves. The complimentary internet service and parking were also much appreciated!

This is a nice clean hotel in a quiet location. Spacious room with all the amenities. There were even outlets on the desk so there was no need to search for somewhere to charge your phone or computer. The only thing it lacks is a complementary breakfast. 4.5 out of 5 stars.
