  Frustrated and disappointed. I have stayed in this property in the past and never had an issue until this stayed. Was overcharged call three times so I can get my receip,. It’s been five days and still have not received it their excuses they will send it by email which they never do. Our first night the breakfast was super cold and had three employees just watch us like it was not their job to say anything ask for hot chocolate at 9 in the morning and very rudely said they ran out. Overall, my experience was three stars for this inconvenience.

  Bonjour, nous étions récemment en janvier 2023 / l'expérience avec la fille à la réception moche s'appelle Bibiana, elle nous facturait un tarif différent de celui que nous avions confirmé, nous a beaucoup énervés. Soyez prudent et faites bien vos comptes. Les chambres sont réparées après les changements d'heures, elles ne changent pas de serviettes ou de draps tous les jours et les salles de bain sont couvertes. La seule chose à souligner le confort des chambres d'hôtes et l'emplacement. Malheureusement, je ne le recommande pas et j'espère qu'ils n'auront pas la mauvaise expérience de cette fille qui n'a pas demandé d'excuses.

  I want to thank Luis, the receptionist, who helped me to overcome my recent ordeal with food poisoning during my stay. He came up to my room, made a phone call to the doctor, then went to 3 pharmacies to fulfill the doctor’s prescription. The next day, he brought me his home-made food since I could not eat any of the restaurants’ meals. That unexpected kindness was very much appreciated. Kudos to Luis. What a remarkable guy! Thank you.

  C'est superficiellement bon, le petit déjeuner est assez varié et copieux, l'emplacement est excellent et certaines zones sont agréables, le personnel est surtout sympathique et attentionné, mais les ascenseurs sont lents, les chambres ont des problèmes en attente à réparer (rideaux déchirés, hotte climatisation du ventilateur endommagée, serrure électronique presque désarmée, réfrigérateur avec des grincements terribles qui ne vous laissent pas dormir, le couvercle qui couvre les siphons est lâche et se détache, serviettes et draps avec quelques taches, internet super lent ~ 8 Mo, le coffre-fort ne fonctionne pas travailler)

  The breakfast is somewhat varied and tasty, the location is excellent and some areas are nice, the staff is mostly friendly and attentive, but the elevators are slow, the rooms have pending problems to fix (torn curtains, damaged exhaust fan, electronic lock almost disassembled, refrigerator with terrible squeaks that do not leave, the lid that covers the siphons is loose and comes off, towels and sheets with some stains, super slow internet ~8mb, the safety deposit box does not work).

  This hotel hit so many good points for me being close to malls and many restuarants near by. The room was clean and spacious and tidy. However my only down note is that clearly during refurbishment no one suggested tk sound proof the rooms. There were 2 days straight where everyone leaving there room and talking in the corridor I could hear clearly. One example was when a family checked in on the floor I was on and their son would run up and down the corridor and talk loudly. Nkw normally this shouldn't bother other guest as the roooms/doors would have enough sound proof layering that it wouldn't be disruptive but there is none here. All in all if you can avoid loud guests it would be great.

  Très mauvais nettoyage, notre chambre sentait très mauvais, des boucles d'oreilles ont également été volées et la seule réponse que nous avons reçue de la direction était "les filles ont dit qu'elles n'avaient rien pris" complètement inacceptable, je ne recommanderais cet hôtel à personne 👎🏾

  Excellent Hotel though many taxi drivers don't know where it is. You may have to help them with Google maps. Food was excellent rooms were excellent and service was superb. I recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Medellin.

  Not what you would expect from a Holiday Inn Express hotel. Carpet on floors was very old and very cheap, no hot water in bathroom sink, doors to closet and bathroom in bad shape and shower doesn't drain properly.

  This hotel was in a great location with plenty of restaurants close by. The room was spacious and adequate. The rolling blinds were not in the best of shape but did operate as necessary. Hot water took forever to reach a satisfactory temperature. It would be nice if a minibar service was available. The breakfast venue was fantastic; however, I feel quality of the breakfast as underwhelming.

  I will stay again if the price is right. Room layout was well-designed and had everything I needed. Staff was attentive and consistent. Security was good. I might add minor things, like power outlets near TV, small hand towel for shower. But this is being nit picky. I just needed to write enough characters for this review.

  Le seul point négatif est qu'il a des réfrigérateurs mais ils n'offrent pas de produits de mini-bar et dans tout l'hôtel vous n'avez pas d'eau potable, vous devez sortir et l'acheter. Repos, chambres, toilettes, petit déjeuner, emplacement et service très bien !

  The location is central to everything.The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast is good. The room is spacious and comfortable. I did not find any staff members pushy or rudely. My key was not functioning and repaired it I also had trouble with the curtain and it was repair in a timely manner.

  Excellent emplacement, au rez-de-chaussée il y a des restaurants comme Burger King et Papa Jhon's. Les chambres hygiéniques et spacieuses. Elles disposent d'un micro-onde et d'un lave-vaisselle, d'un bureau pour travailler, d'un petit salon et bien sûr de votre lit, télévision et salle de bain. L'hôtel dispose d'une salle de sport et le petit déjeuner est servi au 21ème étage où il y a une vue sur la ville de Medellín, le petit déjeuner est servi à 6h00 et il n'est pas très varié.

  Excellent endroit, chambres propres et très bon emplacement. Il est très proche du centre commercial Santa Fe, vous pouvez vous rendre rapidement au centre commercial El Tesoro et il a de nombreux endroits à visiter à moins de 5 minutes à pied. Hautement recommandé.

  La limpieza es un tema principal y creo que hace falta. Creo que pueden aprovechar el espacio en el que se encuentra el lava trastos y horno de microondas, para mejorar la habitación, en el tamaño de bajo y closets o sala. Vale la pena evaluar las alfombras, el aroma no es agradable. Saludos,

  The staff and the service are wonderful. When I needed help the staff went above and beyond to help me. I asked for directions or suggestions and the staff was always helpful. They hotel was very clean. The breakfast was incredible. I wish I could stay longer, but when I come back I will be staying at this hotel again. To The General Manager; you have a great team working with you.

  Arribamos al hotel el dia 2 de enero, con la sorpresa desagradable que no nos dejaron toallas ni papel higeinico en la habitacion 1505, avisamos por telefono y nos dijeron que en media hora estaba lista y no llegaron, desafortunadamente en esa habitación se hospedaron 2 ancianos (90 y 85 años padres de mi esposa) que no sabian que hacer, ya que a nosotros nos dieron otra habitacion (1703) . Por lo tanto el 3 de enero les toco secarnos con una camisa de mi suegro , El 3 de enero le avise a la persona de recepcion y dijo que ya las mandaba, en ese momento salimos del hotel y al regresar a las 4:30 de la tarde no estaban las toallas ni el papel higenico, volvi a lavisar en recepcion y no dieron respuesta. Esto es increible

  I'm always happy with my Holiday Inn travel experiences. I think the hallmark of their brand is the quality of their properties and professionalism of their staff. This property is located in a prime location of Medellín with plenty of restaurants adjacent to the hotel. Shopping centers are also close by. The hotel looks new with modern features in the living quarters and bathroom. Staff was extremely helpful and attentive. I will stay here again on my next trip to Medellin, and highly recommend this property!

  I have stayed at this property many times previously and choose it for its location. However, the bathroom was not stocked properly. This was brought up to the staff. There is no reason for lack of more than 1 towel. Also, although it was appreciated for the welcoming gift, the point that the minibar was not stocked was a negative. I don't really think the pandemic is a valid excuse.

  Noté el hotel con algunos cambios, como es normal. Sin embargo, tengo comentarios sobre el desayuno, el servicio es lento y complejo por las limitaciones de espacio. La variedad estuvo muy afectada, encontré muy pocas opciones, se limitaban a huevos y pan, tal vez comparado con visitas anteriores donde habían más opciones de alimentos. Las habitaciones requieren mantenimiento, no estaban sucias pero el baño de la habitación que me correspondió era muy bajito, supuse que era para una persona con capacidades limitadas pero si era así, le faltaban muchas ayudas.

  Great return stay at the Medellin Holiday Inn Express. High-level professional service and attention provided by Joshue and Diana again. The rooms are spacious and for the most part. Very quiet. Great location and within walking distance of everything of interest in El Poblado. Returning to stay again in a few days. Plenty of outlets in the room which is so important given the fact that we all use multiple devices. The refrigerator is useful and so is the microwave for warming up some leftover foods for a midnight snack. It’s good to have a working desk for when responding to emails and then the couch to relax and having the television on a mount that can swivel is extremely useful and well thought out! The views are better than your competitor a few meters away.

  El hotel esta muy bien ubicado en la zona de El Poblado, accesible a restaurantes y centros comerciales. El personal es magnifico, siempre buscando ayudar a los huéspedes. Las medidas de higiene son buenas, todo el personal usando cubrebocas y limpiando las instalaciones. El desayuno es suficiente con fruta, huevo, café y platillos locales. Le falta mantenimiento a las habitaciones, los sofás son viejos y las alfombras también, el baño merece una arreglada. En general fue muy buena experiencia.

  La habitación con cama que se desarmo, el aire acondicionado viejo con alto consumo de energía y muy ruidoso. Se recibió habitación sin toallas y se demoraron en llevarlas, pues se debió volver a llamar a las 4 horas para que las llevaran y poder tomar un baño y uno con niños. Desayunos con poca variedad.

  This hotel has been enjoyable to stay at. My rooms on the 18th and 20th floor had great view and were nicely designed. Ac works great and the beds are comfortable. Main thing I like is they respect your privacy. I have been here many times. Some days you want to just stay in a chill with your friends. Some hotels that I have stayed at will not allow you to have any other guest at all. Or make it awkward buy asking got copies of a passport. For your safety or not that’s just an invasion of privacy. So I’m happy they respect that.

  No es posible que en un hotel de esta categoría se hospede a 4 personas con reserva de un mes de anticipación y únicamente suministre 2 toallas. Se realizó la petición pero la respuesta fue hoy no le podemos suministrar, mañana con el mayos gusto, sin embargo las toallas llegaron después que nos hemos duchado, Al siguiente día la misma historia solo 2 toallas y no muy nuevas

  Ils ont livré la chambre après 15h00, il n'y avait pas de serviettes de corps, la cafetière ne fonctionnait pas, il n'y avait ni tasses ni café ni sucre, le matin du 17 octobre 2021 la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas, il y avait un forte odeur au 18ème étage apparemment due à un court-circuit, petit déjeuner très basique par rapport au tarif, le soir nous avons trouvé une serviette de toilette allongée par terre près de la sortie de l'ascenseur, vraiment désolé avec cette sélection d'hôtel, je n'y retournerai pas. Évidemment, tout ce qui précède m'a mis mal à l'aise, car je reconnais qu'avant chaque réclamation je me suis exalté auprès des employés, malheureusement le service épouvantable a entraîné cette réaction.

  no había toalla en la habitación y llame al lobby y tarde mas de una hora en que me diera una toalla por cierto la calidad de la misma era pésima parecia mas bien a toalla que se coloca en el piso..... se veía de mas aspecto sucia ... la comida de desayuno también se veía deficiente. habitación es muy clara par dormir porque las persianas o cortinas no cubren en la totalidad de las ventanas

  We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is in a very good area, has its own underground parking (we rented a car because the international airport is 30 minutes away), the staff were extremely helpful, the room was great, clean. The bed was outstanding, we slept well with no noises heard. The breakfast was excellent at the top of the building, overlooking the city. We highly recommend this hotel.

  Le personnel m'a caché que le prix d'un service de Laundry se comptait au détail. Je me retrouve avec une facture de 99 € pour 3 kg de linge alors que ça coûte 24 000 COP soit 5,35 € dans une blanchisserie classique. Je suis resté 3 nuits, et le linge m'a couté plus cher....un scandale. Extrêmement en colère, je me suis senti arnaqué. Plus jamais je ne séjournerai dans ce groupe.

  While the hotel is very good, the only annoying thing was the curtains did not close all the way so the morning light filtered on the sides. It was not possible to close them as the walls are designed not to do so. Also this hotel doesn’t have room service for food. No restaurant, just breakfast in the top floor. As such one can not be hungry in the middle of the night.

  Excellent service. Le personnel est très attentionné et est prêt à tout moment à résoudre tout problème. Le petit déjeuner inclus dans le tarif est très bon. Je suis resté avec ma famille et ça s'est très bien passé. Les yeux fermés, nous resterons là à notre retour à Medellín.

  I stayed three different times at the hotel in July of 2021. The rooms are large and clean with a superior cleaning staff. All staff members were helpful and answered any questions that came up. Location is great and very close to nearby shops and restaurants. Breakfast was especially enjoyable with a great review of Medellin. I would definitely stay at the hotel again.

  LA ubucacion del hotel es buena, las habitaciones son amplias, limpias y comodas. El desayuno es repetitivo, y no es bufett, lo que lo hace un poco aburrido. EL unico detalle que no me gusto es que la habitacion tenia toallas gastadas y rotas.

  Solo me quede una noche, pero me encanto la habitación. Me aloje con mis hermanos y cuando ingresamos al cuarto nos agrado lo amplio, moderno y su sobria decoración. El desayuno esta bastante bien aunque podría haber mas variedad. El personal amable, dispuesto a ayudarte y colaborarte. Hay hoteles de lujo que carecen de ese lindo servicio. Esta bien ubicado. El Gym podría estar mas actualizado. Las camas super cómodas.

  L'un des endroits où vous pouvez vous sentir chez vous d'un point de vue américain, c'est un endroit calme, spacieux et spécial. Chaque fois qu'il y a la possibilité, je vais à l'endroit et c'est totalement incroyable. Il est nécessaire d'améliorer certains détails concernant le fait que les chambres peuvent avoir une cuisine en tant que telle, mais peut-être que cette partie affecte le volume de personnes pour le prix, mais même ainsi, cela donnerait une amélioration incroyable à l'endroit, surtout quand vous avez non seulement l'hôtel mais aussi des restaurants et autres au même endroit. Je le recommande totalement car il est spécial

  I was greeted by a friendly person, Carolyn. She welcomed me back which says a lot about the staff. We came back because of our first experience in this hotel. It's unfortunate Erwin wasn't there this time. That gentleman takes hospitality to the next level.

  I enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn & Suites Medellin. The hotel is located in the El Poblado community of Medellin which is a very nice area. There was one employee named Carolyn at reception that went above and beyond in customer service for me. I was having difficulties booking my hotel and bus ticket to Salento. Carolyn assisted me with the process, nothing seemed too much for Carolyn to do for me as a hotel guest. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate her assistance. Carolyn indeed knows hospitality and is very valuable to Holiday Inn Express & Suites Medellin. I would not hesitate to stay here again next time in Medellin.

  Very good hotel and excellent location. But I am hesitant to stay again to do very restrictive guest visiting policies. If I have local friends showing me around the city, I should expect that they can join me in my room to relax while we are touring. This also gives the locals the ability to be aware of the hotel and they can recommend the hotel to other visitors they know.

  We stayed here one night earlier the week before and decided to stay again on our return from the Pacific Coast to Medellin before our flight home. We had rented two rooms for our family of 5. Plenty of room for all of us. Our flight did not leave until the next day at 10pm so we asked the front desk if we could rent a room for one more night and just keep our bags there and possibly just sit in the room until leaving for the airport at 10pm. They said that was fine and we could just stay in one of the rooms we were already in so I rented a room. We went downstairs the next morning to just let them know we had rented a room and to keep our key card working for one of the rooms and that is when the disappointment began. A new front desk staff told us we could not do that. We needed to have 5 people noted on the reservation and the room only held four people. So only four of us could sit in there and wait for our flight. Ridiculous! We are platinum Elite members and were assured we could do this the night before. We called IHG and was not helped at all. After waiting on hold with the front desk manager, IHG, and our credit card we booked the room with for hours nothing was solved at all. We ended up having to rent a second room to be able to just sit there for a few hours until our flight. Supposedly there is a case open and IHG is looking into it but I doubt anything will come of it. Don't trust what the front desk staff tells you here. They will change their minds at the drop of a hat. I do have to say it is a very nice hotel though.

  Todas las personas fueron muy amables en su atencion, estuvieron muy pendientes de nosotros. En nuestro caso personal que viajamos con niños, nos atendieron muy bien realmente son muy detallistas y siempre estaban pendientes de nuestra comodidad. De hecho nuestra habitación fue ajustada a nuestras necesidades dentro de las restricciones normales de la acomodación. Nuestros requerimientos fueron atendidos plenamente. Muchas gracias por toda la atención brindada.

  El hotel cuenta con una excelente ubicación. Adicionalmente tiene buenas habitaciones y en buen estado. El desayuno tambien es agradable. Pero el personal no proporciona el servicio al cliente que merecen los huéspedes. Especialmente tomando en cuenta la lealtad a la cadena IHG que muchos de nosotros hemos tenido por años.

  En la fachada, el hotel se ve bastante bien, está bien ubicado y tiene unas vistas lindas sobre los sectores más exclusivos de Medellín. El cuarto estaba sucio, las cortinas y los black-out en muy mal estado y el baño no parecía que hubiera estado desinfectado en mucho tiempo. El desayuno muy regular, en especial el café!!

  Always a comfortable stay, in Medellin. Good value for the price. Naturally, I enjoy breakfast in the morning. A little more choice would be great (maybe a choice of eggs). While my spanish is poor, Yesenia did a fantastic job of assisting me. I was not familiar with the ability to get something to eat, and she helped me out with lots of viable recommendations. She deserves a lot of credit for the work that she is doing.

  PROS: The suite room is very spacious. Decent bathroom size and amenities. The area is safe and very close to parks and malls. Restaurants and coffee shops right outside the lobby. Reliable and fast internet. Very courteous staff and a mindset of "here to serve and please guests". Very accommodating of your requests. CONS: The A/C is too small to cool down the entire suite. The breakfast served is the same every day. If you're looking for some variety, this may not be the place for you. Gym is pretty small. Rooms are not sound proof and cars can be heard all the way to the 11th floor.

  The hotel is located close to a mall that has a supermarket, is inside a mall full of different restaurants to choose from. Easy transportation taxi or bus. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are spacious and clean and they have air conditioning which is a big plus with the humidity of the city.

  Considero que las condiciones de manejo de bioseguridad son óptimas, el personal muy amable atentos a resolver mis dudas y requerimientos. El desayuno la verdad prefiero el estilo bufet sin embargo entiendo la situación y acepto que no es el momento para este tipo de cosas, desafortunadamente lo único que no me permitió tener un descanso completo fue mi vecino que tenía unas noches de sexo muy pesadas y el ruido de qu acompañante me despertó 2 de las 4 noches que estuve allí. Sin embargo reporte este evento y el personal estuvo atento a resolver la situación. De resto muy conforme y gracias al personal

  We had an enjoyable and comfortable stay in Medellin, amidst the lockdown period, thanks to Holiday Inn Express. It is located in a mall complex where a couple of restaurants are still open. It is close to a a few supermarkets. It is also walking distance to Park Lleras. The room is spacious, and has additional features such as a dining table, and a kitchen sink. The huge glass windows make the room feel open. The beddings are ultra comfortable. The service was excellent, from the reception (Carolyn, Erwin, and Andres) to the breakfast area (Daniel and Rosalba). Opportunity area: when I spoke with frontdesk staff Diana on the phone, and asked her logistics-related questions like "Are we allowed to leave the hotel to go to the airport?, etc.", she tends to answer "I don't know... I'm not sure..." most of the time. She needs to know who to ask, e.g. her manager, so she can find a solution to guests' issues/questions.

  El hotel acompaña perefectamente las necesidades de viaje que tuve (negocios). La habitación remodelada hizo una gran diferencia en mi estadía. El espacio de la habitación, la cama, el baño, escritorios y limpieza de la habitación fueron claves para sentirme bien en el hotel. La terraza abierta del último piso para desayunar es otra amenidad para disfrutar en Medellín.

  La ubicación del hotel es muy bien, ubicado en el barrio el poblado en el centro comercial la strada, con varias opciones de comida desde fast food hasta buenos restaurantes. Una zona muy tranquila. Con respecto a las habitaciones la cama super comoda, buen televisor que es muy importante para mi gusto y lo mejor cuentan con Directv eso si es un gran plus. Como oportunidades las demas instalaciones de la habitación necesitan una remodelación, el aire acondicionado es muy ruidoso y si uno quiere descansar debe apagarlo. El desayuno buffet su oferta es muy basica (de muy buena calidad eso si), pero creo que podrian añadirle mas variedad.

  El hotel esta en medio de u a renovación, a pesar de ser socio del programa me dieron una habitación vieja y co. Aspecto sucio gracias a un tapete muy viejo, baño humilde sin muchas amenidades con toallas pequeñas y delgadas. Adicionalmente el segundo día no tuve agua caliente. Cuando comenté las dos situaciones en el checkin me dicen que la culpa es mis por no pedir una habitacion en un piso mas alto. Ninguna disculpa. No me gusto el servicio y no se compadece con la calidad de la cadena a nivel mundial.

  - Quizá no fue el mejor día para el hotel, pero me tocó esperar un buen rato para registrarme, la internet no funcionaba si te conectabas como huesped, recepción no contestaba las llamadas, tuve que bajar para reclamar. Los baños no cierran herméticamente, así que los olores se esparcen por el cuarto y si en el cuarto hay más de uno disfrutaras un colage de olores... Los basureros en el baño no tienen tapa. -Un buen y variado desayuno, buena atención en el comedor, bien ubicado.

  This was my first experience at this hotel. The rooms are new and comfortable The facilities are more oriented to attend business groups. If you need kitchenette that is the place to stay but if you have to entertain kids is not for you . Location is great. No problem with WiFi to get Uber at the door. Don’t pay for included breakfast because is not good. The hotel is located in a area with lots of restaurants and bakery were you can eat better.

  We enjoyed our stay in Medellin. The location of the hotel was perfect. The customer service of all of the staff was superb. The breakfast was really good. The room was clean, and accommodating for us and our visitors. The only thing that needs to be improved is the gym. The gym equipment was old and malfunctioning. The gym was much too small, perhaps consider moving it to another location.

  I stay at Holiday Inn properties the world over. In light of my past experience I felt compelled to write a review. I stayed in 2 different rooms at this property. On my second stay I needed to be moved to another room as the air conditioning did not work. Even in the updated room the a/c only got the room kind of cold enough to sleep. Of note, the air conditioning was turned off at 5 am. I awoke very uncomfortable and hot. I called downstairs and within minutes the a/c was back on. I would hazard a guess they shut the a/c off to save money perhaps? Nice looking large rooms with poorly working a/c, which they shut off at their discretion. Good size beds, but they are very firm/hard and uncomfortable. I have been an IHG member for years but I cannot in good conscious recommend these rooms and will not be returning to this property in the future. The staff was very nice.

  My first room was on the 5th floor and had not been renovated. Furniture was in poor condition and had old appliances in the kitchenette. Bathroom also needed a facelift. This floor my windows opened up to see large airconditioning units outside. I was here 5 nights, on the third evening they moved me to a room that had been renovated on a higher floor, and the rooms were much better. Gym is small and not great quality equipment. Breakfast is pretty basic and not much variation if you are here more than a couple of days, The best thing I can say about the hotel is the location. It has a lot of good restaurants and shopping very close by.

  The staff was ready for me! This group was professional, friendly and quick. The hotel is in an excellent location, and the room was wide, clean, spacious and the view of the city was to die for! The morning staff, food and place was spotless. It was truly a lovely surprise and was well taken care by such friendly all around personnel. I highly recommend this hotel for either business or pleasure.

  El hotel en general está bien. La habitación es grande y con vistas. La ubicación del hotel es buena. En general le falta un poco de modernización (máquinas del gimnasio entre otras cosas). La atención es buena y el personal servicial y atento. El desayuno podría ser mejor. De muchos hoteles que visito durante el año este desayuno me pareció de la mayor simpleza posible. Se podría mejorar mucho. En general podría volver a alojarme en el hotel a futuro, especialmente siendo miembro de IHG.

  This is an excellent property. The location of the hotel is very convenient - just 10 blocks from the popular Parque Lleras (and many, many restaurants and bars nearby), big shopping malls, and the metro station (about a 20-30 minute walk). The staff is very nice, helpful, and most speak English. My room was very large, clean, and modern. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was large and well lit. The breakfast buffet was good. The hotel offered me transportation to/from the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

  Overall a great place to be. 15 min walk to the party area on a safe street. The views at the top while having breakfast was amazing. Internet was better then most hotels I have been at, room was large and clean. You know when the cleaning staff folds your clothes they really care and do a good job. Leon at the front desk always had a smile and was very helpful. Recommend for sure.

  This was my first time in Medellin and I really enjoyed it. The weather is great and the hospitality of the people in the city is great. It was a bit surprising that the least welcoming people that we encounter in the trip were in the hotel front desk. Carolina (if I remember correctly) seem like someone had push her to working there and her customer service skills were non existing. There was another young person at the front desk that should not work in the hospitality business as he lacks every skill required for this kind of job. The weird part is that the rest of the staff that you don’t normally find very customer service oriented were very good. I had a problem with the safe in the room and the maintenance personal were great. They took some time to fix my issue but they were informative and very helpful. The staff at the breakfast area were also great. I had the opportunity to talk to the assistant manager and he also seem to know what customers are and how to treat them. It is sad that this hotel doen’t have the right people at the front because they are the ones greeting the guest and they are able to ruin the whole experience for visitors. Apart from that the hotel was what I expected and more from the Holiday Inn chain.

  The staff here is so helpful and amazing. You will definitely love them. The rooms are very spacious and clean and the price is just right! The breakfast here is by far the best one I've had at a HI worldwide and that is from a Platinum member of 10 years! The fresh fruit was amazing along with the eggs, juices, coffee, etc. Location is right on the main street of shopping and has a bunch of restaurants and bars and even a casino just outside the front of the hotel. View from the top floors and breakfast floors is excellent! The only thing I would say is that the power goes off in the room when you're not there which is a good "green" thing. However, it gets hot in the room on sunny days and it takes awhile for the room to cool off once you're in there. Minor inconvenience actually for the benefit of the environment. Other than that the gym is just a few pieces of cardio. That said there's a Bodytech 4 blocks away. I highly recommend this.
