  The hotel staff were nice. The shuttle to airport was good. The room was clean. HBO offered many options. There were sack breakfasts, which was disappointing. Sometimes I wondered if they were partying right outside my door.

  Hotel is decent. The front staff is horrible and rude and mean. They had already checked someone in under my reservation and charged my card. Yet it was my problem and fault. Took WAY too long to resolve and the man not once apologized or tried to explain

  The room was small; hardly room to move around the bed to get to the bathroom. The motion sensor light was going off all the time. The airplanes from the nearby airport flew right over the hotel and was very noisy.

  Positive: Location Negative: Room was damp, dark, and gloomy. Bathroom was very small. Couldn¿t open the blinds. Wouldn¿t stay there again. Saw a couple of rats in the front while waiting for the shuttle.

  I would not recommend this hotel at all. It was completely rundown, nothing like the photos. The room was so tiny and there was barely room to walk around the beds. There is clearly no maintenance done on the rooms as many things needed to be updated and replaced and the walls were scuffed up badly. Our door didn’t even close properly. Terrible experience and way overpriced.

  Positive: It is a very basic airport hotel. The only thing to expect is a clean room and a shower. That's what you get-nothing more. Negative: The hotel clerk was a bit snarky when we checked in at 10:45 PM. Could have used a bit more customer service.

  Positive: There actually isn't anything besides the fact that I advised the front desk of my issues and he totally agreed that he had the same concerns while management ignores and does nothing to correct the issue. Negative: The room has an extreme mold issue. I'm highly allergic to mold. The carpets are old and filthy. Very sketchy area. Felt unsafe The cable didn't work. I had to screw the shower head on to use it. My stay was due to a family emergency with no options

  Not my first choice. A very tiny entry way and hallway. Felt very claustrophobic. Next to big trucks and bus stop so not ideal for relaxing vacation. We stayed there because we had an early morning flight.

  Positive: Very close to LaGuardia airport with a free shuttle. Check in and out were very efficient. Everything in room worked well. Quiet except for normal outside street noises. Negative: Property is definitely showing its age. Fine for a one noght stay but not recommended for longer stays.

  The staff made us feel at home. Answered all our questions in a patient manner. Having coffee, tea and cold water available was nice. All in all a good experience. Would consider staying here again if the opportunity arose. Parking available in the back was convenient - especially in NYC.

  Positive: We were stranded overnight in NY & needed a reasonably priced hotel near the airport for a short overnight. This one suited our needs perfectly as it had a shuttle and was very close to the airport. No frills but clean. Negative: It took several calls to get someone to answer the phone for shuttle pick up.

  I have been with Choice Hotels brand for over 2 decades and the quality continues to decline. Though the staff were courteous the cost is too high for a low grade property off the beaten path. Toilets continue to run throughout the night; no meal service (grab and go bag) shuttle does not run throughout the day (know this in advance - no shuttle between Noon-5:00). If you are not looking for mediocrity and higher this will be disappointing to you.

  My flight suddenly got canceled as I was heading to the airport. The only flight available was the next day. After doing some research I found Avion Inn, which was a 9 minute ride from LaGuardia Airport. The rate was reasonable given its proximity. The room was clean and the A/C was ICE cold, to the point I had to raise it a few degrees in the middle of the night. The bed and mattress were new and comfortable. Ample amounts of pillows. The bathroom was clean, although a little out of date. But it served its purpose. Overall a great overnight stay which allowed me to catch my flight without any issues.

  This is the place to stay if you have an early flight from LaGuardia the next morning. The rooms are clean and comfortable and there is a free shuttle to the airport leaving every half hour starting at 4am

  Room description said 2 queen beds and rhey were both full size. Bathroom full of ants. Room not clean. Had to switch from room 316 to 211 because the bed had hair and food on it like sheets were not changed.

  Positive: Proximity to the airport, which is why we chose it; free airport shuttle, which started running at 4 am; and grab and go breakfast bags for departures before regular breakfast hours. It met our basic needs. Negative: Street noise was so loud, it sounded as though the windows were open. Garbage from a prior guest in the nightstand drawer and a clearly opened/used shampoo bottle in the bathroom made us leery about the overall cleanliness of our room.

  My stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The room was clean and quiet and I felt safe. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The people had good attitudes and cheery dispositions. I really valued having a shuttle service to and from the airport. It would have been nice to have been able to control the temperature in my room, and I would have preferred thicker towels that weren't old and frayed.

  Nice hotel. Room was clean, and the folks very friendly. The front desk folks were very accommodating. It was close to public transportation, and the airport. The transport to and from the airport was included and worked out great and a Very friendly driver too. The price was right for a NYC hotel. I'll definitely come back.

  Positive: It¿s close to LaGuardia and was some less expensive than other hotels in the general location. Also the staff was very helpful. Negative: The sound travels through the walls very well so noisy neighbors and people coming and going in the lobby above us we¿re easily heard. The breakfast was a prepackaged bag so wasn¿t amazing. And the shuttle doesn¿t run in the afternoon.

  Despite being so close to the airport, this hotel was extremely quiet and the room was dark at night. We were able to utilize the hotels airport shuttle and got to the airport with in 15 minutes. The water for the shower was really hot, and did not run out quickly. We called to see if we could drop off bags before exploring the city, and they allowed us to check in several hours earlier than expected. Bonus: Tres Sabores Taqueria is nearby. We stopped in and had the best El pastor tacos.

  Positive: It offered free shuttle service. Negative: You could hear the airplanes very loudly inside. The walls were very thin so you could hear everything. The room was small, dirty carpet, the bathroom had stray hairs in various places, the blanket seemed old, and the room overall seemed old.
