    Le séjour s'est bien déroulé dans l'ensemble. Si je mets 2 étoiles aujourd'hui c'est tout simplement à cause du service client après-vente. En effet, j'étais en déplacement professionnel avec un partenaire du 03 au 08 août. Lors de mon enregistrement d'arrivée, ma carte a été débitée de 100$ pour la caution. Lors du check-out, on m'a bien fait comprendre que le remboursement prendrait 3 à 5 jours. Nous sommes aujourd'hui le 19, soit 11 jours après mon départ, et toujours rien. Le partenaire, ma banque et moi-même essayons de contacter l'hôtel pour avoir des explications, en vain. Je trouve inadmissible qu'on nous laisse sans réponse comme ça.

    Positive: It was located close to the event I was attending so made it nice. Negative: When they did the cleaning of the room they left dirty items in the room. Also did not replace the coffee cups or coffee in the room. I also requested an early check-in that they would not coordinate and when I got there did not give me the king room

    Positive: They allowed us to check in very early without additional fee. Negative: Needs Smart TV that allows screencasting. No free breakfast.

    The hotel is nice clean the bed is comfortable. The staff is so so and weren’t the most helpful, the valet couldn’t even operate my manual transmission vehicle. I was offered a concierge amenity package though the amenities included were closed through the duration of my stay you can only order room service after 5 PM which is a little strange how do you do breakfast? This location is situated in the heart of downtown San Jose on one of the busiest intersections and it shows.

    Stay was okay. Not bad, but not great either. Upon checking in, light was not working in room and needed a new bulb. USB outlet was also not working. Not huge issues, but still detracted from overall stay. In the morning, at approximately 0800 hours, we call and requested that our room be serviced as we left for the day. Upon returning in the early evening, at approximately 1800 hours, the room had not been serviced. We called and confirmed that our request had been logged, but for some reason our room had been missed. Since it was now too late for our room to be serviced, we just requested that fresh towels be sent up. Several of the towels had stains / marks (possibly make up stains?). The hotel staff were polite, but did not convey a warm, friendly feeling. It was clearly just a job. Life happens and any of these things individually is not too big a deal, but when added up in total definitely detracted from our overall enjoyment of the hotel. Would it keep us from staying again? Probably not, but I would also not commit to saying that we would be a repeat guest or recommend

    Although we stayed for just a night for a break from a long drive, the check in personnel was so welcoming and courteous. not realizing that the bar was closing already, the bartender accommodated us for one round to end the night relaxed. great service!

    Rooms are good and neat but I expected more the price you charged. It would have been good if the below are included - complimentary breakfast - Microwave Oven in room - Snack vending machine - Water vending machine on floors(It costs $3 on beverage vending machine) - Plastic cutlery in room. I checked in at 10.30 and had to sleep without food as there was no restaurant or food was available and there is no snack vending machines I also had to go to reception from floor 10 to get the water.

    This hotel is in the heart of San Jose, just minutes from the airport. They have a rooftop pool on the third floor and their gym is incredible! They have electric vehicle charging that is complimentary for all models. The M Club had an incredible variety of breakfast for myself and my kids.

    In today's environment when good help is often hard to find or service levels hard to meet, I find this not the case at this Marriott. Check-in/Check-out was hassle free and quick, parking amenities for valet was quite convenient.

    When I entered the Lobby, I made my way to the front desk. I began to check in with a very pleasant staff member who was looking after me. Abruptly, another staff member came out from a room behind the desk and took over my check in. She was surly and curt. I was able to check in but I felt like I didn't get the best quality of service. I didn't get names but it was Wednesday Feb. 10 at about 10 pm. i spoke with the original front desk girl the next morning when I checked out at 5:30 am.

    My husband and i stayed to visit our daughter at San Jose State University for the weekend. Even though the only parking available was Valet, they were as prompt as they could be when retrieving our car. The room was clean and comfortable. Bed was extra comfortable.

    Normally I love a Marriott. This one recently has been downhill all the way. Dirty dishes from last guest on the floor in the hall by my door when I arrive (there for hours and not removed until I complained - don't tell me no employee walked down that hall for hours at a time), hairs and dirt in the room, especially the bathroom where you can see it, overall not friendly or recognizing I have been at this place 10 times in 4 months, food quality at restaurant going down hill, terrible coffee in the restaurant, customary toiletries (shower gel/soap) and coffee not placed in the room so I have to call down and then tip someone to bring them to me. Whole thing is meh. Also, rooms are dated and on one has washed the windows in years, it seems.

    The Group booking staff were so helpful getting out block of rooms reserved. The new renovations to the lobby are wonderful. The only negative was that on the day I checked out, there was only one working elevator.

    This was the first time our family stayed at the Marriott in downtown SJ. Pluses: + Centrally located - it was a perfect base for visiting local sites during the holidays (Christmas in the Park, Downtown Ice Skating, Tech Museum, & Children's Discovery Museum) + Rooms are super clean with very comfortable bedding + We enjoyed the pool on the third floor. In fact, we had it all to ourselves. Needs work: * Staff lost our online request for a higher placement junior suite and blamed us for not calling the hotel with the request immediately after making the booking; * Staff claimed there were no junior suites available at the higher levels due to a wedding party. * Junior corner suites at the lower levels (we were in room 600) expose you to the din of street vendors. Unless you enjoy super loud and relentlessly obnoxious Mexican music lodgings for those in need of sleep are best sought elsewhere during the holiday season. * Breakfast is literally in the lobby with very minimal menu options and staffing (one server attending). In the end we found breakfast to be overpriced and underwhelming. * Hospitality - front desk lacks a congenial personality to welcome guests. * No one greets you upon entering the building. The doorman/security guards seem perpetually infatuated with their cell phones. If you prefer anonymity then maybe a non-issue.

    Room is nice and valet parking staff are very friendly. However, the berries in our breakfast “fruit cup” are not fresh at all. Btw, their pool and jacuzzi are outside so can’t really use them on a cold winter day.

    Staff was super-responsive to all of our chat questions & requests. When we checked in, they let us know the MClub was closed and comped us dinner & breakfast. Then when I left my pillow in the room after checking out, their security staff went and retrieved it to keep it safe. All in all, would return any time to this hotel.

    I stay regularly in this hotel. I think hotel mgt was wonderful and night manager on 12/15/21 went above and beyond to right the wrong of Marriott corporate customer service. I was awarded an upgraded room using my suite night awards, only the room was exactly the same as I had the weekend before. The gentleman at Marriott corporate customer service was not accommodating my request to have my suite nights reinstated. I went to hotel mgt and she not only reinstated my award nights, she credited me 35000 points for having to deal with this on arrival and it taking over an hour of my time. I stayed in Marriott properties over 120 nights in 2021, and this hotel needs to update their mattresses. Corporate customer service was poor on this phone call. Hotel management made it right. Thank you

    This Marriott has the nicest and most efficient employees! The hotel is meticulously maintained and stylish. The beds are super comfortable and the higher floors have a great view of downtown. On the lobby level exists the MClub (additional fee to access) that is fully stocked with liquor, beer, wine (honor bar) and sodas. If you don't see a particular drink, ask the servers there and they will get it for you! They also serve great snacks and hot hors d'oeuvres. They do not have room service at this property, though, but recommend nonetheless!

    Everything about the hotel was a great experience. I was just a bit concerned about the amount of people we encountered not wearing masks in the elevator. We did take advantage of the valet service and the M Club. All staff were very friendly and helped to make the stay a great experience.

    My wife and I are both Marriott Bonvey members with our own accounts. The experience was horrible from the beginning. We entered San Jose earlier and had a car full of stuff so we called the hotel to ask about an earlier check in, the lady Zandy, working the front desk wouldn’t just acknowledge our request she kept saying check in is at 4. We said we understand but is there any room to check in earlier. We finally arrive around 1 to check in. We explain the two separate reservations and wanting to check in. Zandy got us a room but made us feel like what an inconvenience for an earlier check in. My wife asks the same lady at the front desk about room service because she wanted to feed the kids in the morning and she’s told no but no mention that we qualified for the M lounge or that the hotel had one. The next morning we are leaving to attend the museum and we see an M lounge sign so we go and ask the front desk and the guy working, he looks up our room and says to my wife ma’am your a gold member you don’t qualify, my wife says yes but my husband is platinum and we booked under him yesterday. Zandy, the same lady that checked us in rushes over and says I checked you in and I told you about breakfast. At this point my wife was upset, we have two small kids and we asked specifically about breakfast and no she NEVER told us. She insisted and continues to argue that she has been more than accommodating to us and that she “upgraded” our room, like she did me a favor. No my status got us an upgrade and to be honest it was a standard double Queen room, nothing to brag about. Instead of just trying to fix it and saying let us honor the m lounge for tomorrow. No they just argued it was closed now. When I asked the guy about a manager contact he said she in the manager. THEN, she decided to open a drawer and fill out a breakfast voucher and yells here go now go feed your kids. I was insulted and very disappointed in the service by Zandy.

    First time in over 10 years of staying with Marriott that I’ve had my reservation mysteriously changed. I was turned away at check in by the front desk saying my reservation had been changed to start on a different day than my arrival. Even after providing them my reservation confirmation that showed it started for that night, I was told the hotel was sold out and there was nothing they could do. It took me waiting in the lobby for someone to not show for their reservation before the night manager was able to get me a room. I did not feel like a Lifetime Titanium member. I felt like an inconvenience to the staff. I wasn’t the only one in my group that had this issue. 4 out of the 10 traveling in my group had an issue with their reservation being modified without their knowledge. It is something we are definitely taking into consideration when we look for meeting space in the future.

    The restaurant service was horrible. We waited more than 20 minutes before a waitress acknowledged us. There was a dirty towel in our room. I asked for more towels & clothes and it took nearly an hour before additional wash clothes & towels were delivered. I had to call the front desk twice. Needless to say I was late for the wedding I was attending.

    Room is clean, location is great. Valet was both expensive and very slow to fetch cars. Housekeeping doesn’t happen (they say they only do it every 3 days). This would be ok except I only had one bath towel and one hand towel in the room and ran out of shampoo and body wash. Small problems but also ones that could’ve been easily avoided / mitigated with a little more attention.

    En general es un buen hotel, el persona muy atento y dispuesto a hacerte sentir como en casa, pero hay algunos que desde la bienvenida no te valoran como cliente, te hacen mala cara y no te dan soluciones a los problemas de estacionamiento que ellos cambian y no notifican en tiempo y forma. Pero por otro lado hay un par de personas. Que hacen más allá de su deber para poder ayudarte. El valet parking tiene sus oportunidades! Referente al $$ y al servicio

    I spent 5 nights here. The valet was so slow, having to wait about 15-20 mins to get my car. One night the water went off, I had no hot water for ages in the morning. The initial flow of water was actually black! My room was never cleaned until I complained and even after that it was still never cleaned. Hotel decor is nice, service and reliability is awful.

    Positive: The valet staff was outstanding. Overall the hotel was clean and quiet. Negative: safe in room did not operate maintenance was called. did correct the problem after two attempts, taking away from time i could have spent to enjoy the hotel food and amenities. On the day prior to checkout the hotel room was not cleaned at all.

    Unfortunately this stay at this particular Marriott was not one of the best experiences I have had. The room was not cleaned it still had merchandise from the previous person who stayed there were dirty towels and the television continued to not work my entire stay. The food was good the drinks were good but unfortunately it was a really big turn off.

    The check-in is strange. I check in on my app and then I still have to go to the front desk to get a key?? Even thought it says to use the app as my key. That’s annoying. I’m waiting for the alert as it said and I’m not getting one because I have to go to the front desk. The room was nice and clean. Staff was friendly. The other item I found a bother was no room service and no food after the nearby shows have let out. So we Doordashed. Did the same for breakfast. I don’t want to put clothes on to go down to get food and bring it back up. The Valet seemed to be understaffed considering it was check out time and many trying to depart. I assume staffing issues because of COVID.

    Stayed at the Marriott as it was the hotel of choice for the SCU reunion. I've stayed at Marriott hotels before I had not experienced bad service. The post pandemic appears to have impacted service at the Marriot. We stayed for 3 nights and each day it took over an hour to get our car out of the valet garage parking. Even when we called in the car an hour in advance we still couldn't get our car and I missed one of my events as a result. We asked the front desk for room service that never happened. The staff just seems like they don't want to be there.

    Stopped by the Bay Area during our coastal road trip, this a hotel has the perfect location. It’s walking distance from Fisherman’s wharf, short walk to catch the street car on Powell, 11 minutes to Golden bridge view point. The rooms are clean and bed is comfortable, breakfast is excellent! Highly recommended hotel!

    The room was very clean, as was the hotel in general. I was disappointed with the lack of menu options and no room service. The quality of the meals were just OK - not as good as I remember in past years. The waitstaff was mediocre. The check in staff was also OK, but the staff at the desk when checking out was above average. Also, if you want a good cup of coffee, don't go to the Starbucks that is on-site. They advertise that they have seasonal blends but they only offer one type of coffee and the food options are limited. The gym and workout areais really nice!

    I recently stayed at this location for a convention. Not only were the staff super helpful and accommodating when one member of our party required a wheelchair, they also were responsive to all other questions or needs throughout the weekend. The hotel is very conveniently located, as it is attached to the convention center. It’s also a short distance from multiple excellent restaurants and bars. The rooms were well-appointed and had mini-fridges that were big enough to hold quite a bit of food and drinks. Very comfortable beds and bathrooms as well. Overall I was extremely pleased with my stay at this location, and look forward to staying again next year.

    Pros- room size and look true to pictures on line and mostly clean. Great view from 25th floor. Cons- Staff at front desk, rushed checked me in and not friendly at check out. Bar staff not friendly either. Bar closes at 10pm. Reported bathroom faucet falling apart and rusty and man at front desk seemed annoyed I reported it. Breakfast menu choices about 5 so we eat outside hotel. Conclusion: would not stay here again.

    I've stayed here for quite a few conventions and it's always pretty nice. The people are friendly and the rooms are comfortable and it's attached to the convention center so it's pretty convenient. Not a lot of frills but the only thing worth complaining about it the parking: currently, you have to park at the convention center and walk either through the center to the hotel or, if it's late/early, around the whole building (luggage in tow). It is also $25/night. Hopefully this will be fixed soon. Also, the menu in the restaurant is EXTREMELY limited, but the food itself is really good. I suspect the limited menu is a temporary thing and will go back to it's usual size soon.

    I decided to stay at San Jose Marriott for the comfort of sleep I have experienced at other Marriotts in the past. It did not disappoint at all, however, there was a plumbing issue which caused my bath tub to back up. The hotel was able to move me to another room to shower. but it was a bit inconvenient having to pack up and move. Otherwise, it was a nice stay.

    My stay at The San Jose Marriott was made special by the outstanding staff, who were so courteous and helpful throughout my time there. The room was spotless and in perfect working order - bed and bedding was “Marriott comfortable”. Very well located to attend the Summer Jazz Fest and service was excellent.

    I found the hotel average for big box hotels. It was clean and well kept. It was not well staffed and the services are bare bones. Parking is in the Convention Center garage which does not appear to be patrolled or secured. I spent most of my time escorting the female members of our team to their cars as it was a bit scary and I was not comfortable with them going alone. This property could use some attention from a security perspective.

    It said it was a 4 star hotel. The parking was far and valet was already gone and going into the parking garage there where no instructions so had to park in a separate part of the garage instead of the Marriott section. Definitely over priced for what received. You have to pay for everything including wifi which I feel is ridiculous since wifi is pretty standard these days. You get more for less and just as nice of rooms (sometimes nicer) with choice hotels.

    In our travels to southern California, we spent one night at the San Jose Marriott and were favorably impressed with the hotel -- and the senior discount made it nicely affordable. The staff we encountered were top notch and we enjoyed the use of the gym before we left in the morning. We definitely plan to stay again!

    I enjoyed it, i like that they leave a little pack of alcohol wipes and everything is clean. There was very minimal dust which was good, cuz usually at other hotels the comforters make me congested cuz of allergies, but no congestion here and the beds were comfy. Overall lovely stay. Oh yeah there we got a tub in the restroom which was awesome too.

    Hotel confortable avec une vue à couper le souffle sur San Jose. L'hôtel est moderne et très propre. De l'hôtel on peut aller à pieds dans de nombreux bars et restaurants. L'insonorisation est pas trop mal mais on entend quand même les bruits de la ville.

    Très bel hôtel avec un grand niveau de prestations et l'indication sous le lit pour dire que le ménage est fait aussi ici j'ai adoré l'humour. Rien à dire sur l'accueil je regrette juste la situation géographique a côté il n'y a rien à faire et vous devez directement prendre un Uber pour sortir de cette zone.

    This hotel is very clean and very comfortable. The beds are heavenly. The pool and hot tub were clean and a nice spot for our large group to gather. Breakfast is the Arcadia was excellent -- I missed having room service options other than dinner, however. My only complaint is I would like Marriott to focus much more on being environmentally focused. The coffee service in room involved so much waste of plastic and paper per cup that I took a photo of it. They do have in room recycle bins which I appreciated. Overall this was a great experience and I would definitely stay there again.
