La chambre de la tour

Accueil selon l'heure d'arrivée convenue, soit disant sur Booking, donc entre 14 et 17 heures on est restés dehors... De 16:45 à 17:15, nous essayons de contacter la propriétaire, sans succès. À 17:20 nous avons une réponse, en comme quoi elle nous attendait depuis 16:30... (la sonnerie du téléphone était peut-être en silencieux). Arrivés sur place, dès l'entrée cela sent mauvais, et ne semble pas très net... Arrivés à la chambre, elle est froide et humide et la couverture pas très soignée. La salle de bain commune, n'est pas très engageant... Sommes partis dormir ailleurs, en perdant 69 €, car nous avions payé à la réservation.

Typique, charmant, les vieux murs sont empreints de sagesse.

Positif: La literie était confortable avec sa couverture chauffante.. Négatif: J'aurai souhaité faire chauffé un repas simple après une journée de travail mais j'ai essuyé un refus catégorique par ma logeuse me conseillant d'aller au restaurant. La salle de bain commune est limite niveau propreté..

Positif: L ambiance générale du lieu et la belle rencontre avec la propriétaire..

Positif: La gentillesse et l'échange chaleureux avec la maîtresse des lieux..

Positief: Voor de tweede keer gelogeerd. Het was weer even fijn om daar te zijn. Geweldig mens de eigenaresse. Hebben nu ook aan de overkant gegeten bij Au Délices de l’Abbaye. Een echte aanrader! Gaan zeker terug ook al ligt het niet op onze route..

Positiv: Den rekommenderade resturangen var suverän.

Chambre correcte a peu près, accueil pas terrible, la propriétaire n est pas sympathique du tout, à fuir.

Positive: Wonderful owner in a typical house, located in charming village.

Positif: La propriétaire très attachante, son atelier d'artiste, la maison, fraiche malgré la température extérieure , la situation sur la place du village, l'accueil, le lit très confortable, l'échange avec notre hôte, le petit déjeuner.

Positif: L’accueil était super, et j’ai même eu le droit à un croissant le matin alors que je devais partir assez tôt !. Négatif: Il faudrait revoir les volets et les rideaux car nous avons été réveillées assez tôt à cause de la lumière..

Positief: Ontzettend Frans met n super gastvrouw. Negatief: Nvt.

Positive: Marie Collette was an incredibly warm hearted and helpful host. We enjoyed the conversations with her and the she had many helpful tips for the area. The place is really good and historic and so is the interior. We loved the old closets and paintings all over the place. Marie is an artist and that is what you see throughout the house. Orbais is a really small and charming medieval village, if you want to go out and eat you can only do this from Thursday till Sunday. It was a pleasure to meet you Marie! Thank you for everything!.

Positiv: Mycket trevlig och gästvänlig värdinna. Fantastiska omgivningar. Våra två små hundar trivdes också mycket bra. Skulle gärna återvända dit om vi passerade.. Negativ: Finns bara en restaurang och den var stängd just den kväll vi var där..

Negative: We choose this place to stop on our way to Italy only because of the previous reviews. We are a young couple, we do travel a lot and never been in a place like this. The room and the toilet were dirty and the place was cold and smelly. Also what it’s not been mentioned is that your room communicates with the owner room, same as the bathroom. Last night I left the light on in the bathroom as I was coming back to pick up my towel and after 1 minute the owner went in our bathroom to switch off the light.. nothing wrong with that but this is not a ‘Booking.com place, more an airbnb type of place and people might book this with different expectations.. Finally how not to mention the mouldy jam which the owner offered us for breakfast (see picture)? Disgusting and very offensive.. we won’t definitely come back and not sure if we are going to report this place as we felt our money have been completely stolen.. again, we have been in so many places and we get the ‘’vintage and authentic’’ experience but this is not the same....

Positief: Gastvrij, sfeervol, thuisgevoel. Negatief: Niets.

Positief: Perfect verblijf. Negatief: Ontvangst.

On est vraiement bien accueili, literie confortable..

Positief: De charmante eigenaresse toonde zich een fantastische gastvrouw. We kwamen aan na een doodvermoeiende wandeltocht en met een ontzettende honger. Ze stelde alles in het werk zodat we konden eten. In het plaatselijk café haalden we de plate du jour en onze gastvrouw kwam het warm op onze kamer brengen! Geweldig Na een heerlijke overnachting en gezellig ontbijt een rondleiding in de abdij van dezelfde gastvrouw die voor ons de sleutel heeft geregeld. In een woord: formidabel. Negatief: Alles oke.

Positive: I have traveled more than 30 countries and of course spends a lots of nights in hotels or someone’s home by Airbnb . I just want to say, no matter what hotels with 5 stars or somewhere else, La Chambre de la Tour is a place which I called as a wonder home. It’s just one of the best place I have been. I even don’t want to share this place with your guys. Just go there, and enjoy your stay. Talk with the elegance hostess, you will take the world is much better place than you thought. It’s a place more than accommodation, it’s also about good old time, arts und peacefulness. Just don’t waste your time to search somewhere else, booking and go La Chambre de la Tour!!!.
