  Hôtel correct mais pas d'eau dans la douche, juste de l'eau froide au lavabo.... Climatisation de la chambre qui fait beaucoup de bruit. Fenêtre ne s'ouvre pas.

  Premier hôtel de notre voyage aller-retour de 3 semaines et tout était super. Grandes chambres, lits très confortables, excellent service et le petit déjeuner était également très bon. Malheureusement, nous avons été cambriolés juste devant l'hôtel, il faut donc être plus prudent, ce qui est typique de San Jose

  Parfait pour San José. Super propre et belle grande chambre. Personnel bon et très sympathique. Petit déjeuner tout à fait suffisant. Non loin de l'Avenida 0. Et si vous traversez le parc à gauche, vous verrez le programme contrasté avec de belles maisons anciennes sur la Calle 9.

  Bon hôtel au centre de San José. Confortable, confortable, central et avec un personnel extrêmement gentil. Un mauvais éclairage dans la pièce peut être mis en cause. Sinon une bonne base pour l'escale de San Jose.

  Hôtel de standard international avec un excellent emplacement au centre-ville ! Cependant, le petit déjeuner n'était pas aussi bon que ce à quoi nous étions habitués pendant le reste de notre voyage. La chambre était un peu sombre et moisie car on ne pouvait pas ouvrir une fenêtre - la ventilation n'était possible qu'avec la climatisation. Mais suffisant pour 2 nuits. Navette pour l'aéroport pour 2 personnes - environ 11 $ nous avons trouvé très juste. Idéal pour une visite de la ville.

  I have tried emailing you and calling you. I have made a clerical error in a booking on 10-11 november 2022 which was a typo. I sent you an email and contact request directly after making that booking. In all trust I made a second booking for the correct date 15-16 November, because your reservations team didnt respond to my requests to alter the first booking. Ultimately I have made two payments (for first and second night). Hotel personnel wasnt willing to help me out. No replies thereafter.

  Hôtel bruyant car situé au centre-ville et petit déjeuner limité (pas de café, il fait venir très tôt car beaucoup de groupes pillent le budget et remplissent leurs gourdes en eau et café). Chambres spacieuses et confortables.

  Nous avons déjà séjourné à plusieurs reprises dans cet endroit, nous l'aimons parce qu'il est proche de tout (littéralement) et parce qu'ils ont une bonne attention de leur personnel, cependant, la dernière fois que j'y étais, je n'ai pas aimé, j'ai pris une serviette et était sale je le sais à cause de l'odeur, la chambre le deuxième jour sentait le moisi J'espère qu'ils résoudront cet aspect du nettoyage car c'est un endroit économique et bon

  À de nombreuses reprises, les gens ont peur d'aller dans un hôtel à San José, mais s'ils veulent un bon emplacement, un hôtel confortable et agréable, ils doivent absolument magasiner ici. Les musées les plus importants de la capitale sont à 10 minutes à pied. Le service est exceptionnel. Pour ceux qui aiment les activités nocturnes, le casino est à côté de l'hôtel avec un restaurant ouvert 24h/24, mais en prenant soin de ne pas déranger les clients avec du bruit... J'y retournerai certainement 🇨🇷❤️

  Son emplacement est très stratégique. J'avais l'idée qu'il était aussi gros qu'il en a l'air mais non. Son style est beau, simple et sans ostentation, c'est pourquoi il devient une bonne option à considérer.

  L'hôtel est très beau. Dans les chambres il y a des meubles en bois. Le lit est hyper confortable. Il dispose d'un coffre-fort, minibar, baignoire, sèche-linge, télévision, téléphone, WiFi,... L'hôtel est situé dans le centre historique de San José, Costa Rica. Il a un casino.

  Les installations de l'hôtel sont très agréables, mais l'attention du superviseur n'était guère plus que déplorable. Ils n'ont pas trouvé ma réservation (qui était déjà payée), ils l'ont cherchée par dates, noms et il n'y en avait pas, je lui ai fait voir mon relevé de compte et que c'était déjà payé mais il a insisté sur le fait que je n'avais pas 't payé et que puisque l'hôtel était complet à ce moment-là, eh bien ils allaient me placer dans un autre hôtel. Après le mauvais moment, par magie est apparue ma réserve qu'ils avaient imprimée sur leur nez. Le superviseur n'a même pas montré son visage pour s'excuser de son attention moche et de son système de recherche inefficace, seule la dame de la réception a fini de nous aider à l'enregistrement et de s'excuser pour son erreur.

  Le personnel est extrêmement sympathique, suffisamment petit déjeuner inclus et chambres propres. Cela peut devenir un peu bruyant dans les chambres qui sont attachées à l'avenue principale. Emplacement très proche du centre de San José avec plusieurs points d'intérêt accessibles à pied. Pour rester quelques nuits, c'est une excellente option.

  Hôtel central à S. José, mais à mon avis, recommandable uniquement en passant. La propreté en général pourrait être améliorée. La baignoire était plusieurs heures avec 10 cm d'eau après une douche. Je ne peux pas dire avec certitude, mais j'ai de sérieux doutes quant à la propreté de la literie. La taie d'oreiller sentait mauvais et j'ai dû la couvrir avec ma propre serviette. Et très peu de petit déjeuner. Je ne pense pas que ce soit mal que ce soit servi et non un buffet, mais ils servaient très peu et si vous demandiez autre chose, ils vous disaient de manger ce qui était servi et si nécessaire de revenir pour plus. J'y étais aussi il y a 5 ans et depuis la qualité a beaucoup baissé. Bien sûr, le personnel de la réception est très attentionné.

  L'hôtel est très central, les chambres sont spacieuses et visuellement attrayantes, bon lit, coffre-fort, réfrigérateur, cafetière, planche et fer à repasser, sèche-cheveux, climatisation (désastreusement bruyante !). Les lampes de la pièce étaient en partie cassées et les câbles ont été réparés avec du ruban électrique. Le sol de la salle de bain n'est pas particulièrement propre, le rideau de douche sent mauvais. Serviettes totalement effilochées. Le service du petit déjeuner était extrêmement mauvais, fruits uniquement sur demande avec temps d'attente, d'abord pas de tasses là-bas, puis pas d'assiettes, yaourt uniquement sur demande (qui a ensuite été pris à une autre table), le personnel était extrêmement antipathique et semblait très démotivé. Donc seulement 2 étoiles au total.

  Les chambres donnant sur la cour sont bonnes et calmes, mais la climatisation est extrêmement bruyante. Windows ne s'est pas ouvert. Wi-Fi bon. Salle de sport petite mais si vous y êtes seul, ça va. Petit-déjeuner malheureusement uniquement sur allocation et pas de communication en anglais possible.

  This hotel is not like a typical Sleep Inn in the United States. It is more upscale, and is an excellent value. My wife and I always felt safe on the hotel grounds and parking lot.

  Je n'y suis allé que pour le petit déjeuner, cela vaut la peine d'arriver tôt, la nourriture est suffisante et le traitement est sympathique. C'est un bon choix pour un petit-déjeuner en couple différent à San José. Deux étoiles de moins car la pâtisserie n'était pas du jour (elle semblait rassis et surchauffée) et les œufs n'étaient pas servis comme demandé.

  For me, Sleep Inn brand hotels are a step below the Clarion/Comfort/Quality brands but his one in San Jose, CR is a top tier property and didn't even seem like it was a Choice hotel. It is located in central San Jose, a short walk from all the places you'd want to visit, including museums, market, etc. We walked everywhere. The breakfast buffet was much better than your normal Sleep Inn in the US and better than most Choice hotels of any brand in the US. Two juices each day, including one "local" type such as guanabana. Scrambled eggs (powdered), rice and black beans, and an alternating item such as sausage or pastry with meat. At least two fruits, such as pineapple and papaya. You-make-them waffles. And Briit coffee, a high end Costa Rican coffee. (I was raised in a Hispanic country, so this breakfast appeals to me.) Front desk and housekeeping service were both always top notch. The breakfast room has two servers who take plates, bring you coffee, etc. Costa Rica is very "green." The dining room has ceramic cups and plates, real glasses, metal utensils. Only the napkins are paper and they are very small and thin. The only issue I had was not being able to reserve the shuttle from the airport online. You have to call from airport and using the pay phone is problematical. (Taking a taxi would be about $25.)

  The location in central San Jose is perfect for visiting the city. There are parks, pedestrian streets, restaurants and interesting tourist sites all within walking distance. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable, a great king size bed, nice bath and very pleasant staff at the front desk. Excellent wifi. We were next to a street but the noise did not come into the room. I would be happy to stay here again.

While not luxurious, hotel compared favorably with any large chain hotel in a major US city. The free breakfast was above average compared with the fare I have eaten at US hotels. Not much. The main entrance was on the ground level adjacent to the parking lot. There was a second entrance/exit on the 1st floor onto the main street but, despite having an emergency exit sign, this door was locked. An intercom on the exterior allowed you to summon someone from the front desk to open, but they were relatively slow to respond.

  Chambre côte rue : impossible de dormir Extrèmement bruyant (grand boulevard et chambre pas assez isolée). Attention, on vous dit petit déjeuner inclus mais si vous partez à 5 h du matin, vous ne l 'aurez pas. Démarre à 6 heures. Petite arnaque car beaucoup de touristes passent dans cet hôtel d étape pour prendre l avion le lendemain. Il pourrait préparer un panier petit déjeuner par exemple. Hôtel marqué à l accueil 4 * mais c est plutôt un 2 *. Point positif : hôtel sis en plein centre ville.

  With the exception of mixing up the number of occupants on the reservation, the stay was not bad. Breakfast was buffet style and included a mixture of American & CR traditional food with very courteous waitstaff. WiFi & AC worked well without issue. The hotel is located in the center of downtown so you are walking distance from museums and it serves as a good hub for day excursions.

  The staff is extremely friendly and helpful with any of your needs. The hotel is ideally located in Downtown San Jose with many tourist spots just steps from your front door. The housekeeping does an excellent job keeping your room tidy. And the price, what can I say, It's a real bargain any way you slice it. I have been traveling for business to San Jose from Miami going on 5 years and tried other places and always have returned to the Sleep Inn San Jose Downtown.

  Situé au centre ville pas très loin de l'assemblée nationale, il est très difficile de le trouver en voiture car il ne donne pas directement sur la rue. Son entrée est commune avec un casino et de l'autre côté de la rue face au jardin de la paix il porte un autre nom. les chambres sont spacieuses et très correctes, le personnel de la réception est très froid et dénote dans un tel établissement. la salle de petit déjeuner est située dans le hall d'entrée et demanderait à être située ailleurs.Le petit déjeuner est simplissime et demanderait à être plus copieux.

  We are so glad that we chose this hotel for our trip to Costa Rica. The suite was very comfortable (except the couch ). It was very clean and had very nice linens. We kept crazy hours but always had housekeeping. We did wish there was an ice machine on the 2nd floor. They were on the 1st and 3rd floor. The breakfast area was very nice and never over crowded due to the large area. Food was plentiful & just ok if you like black beans and rice. .there is a waffle maker and plenty of fresh fruit. There is a casino and resturant right next door which was fun. There is also 24 hr room service which was excellent. It was a short walk from the hotel to the theatre and museums. Very nice grounds well kept. Plenty of security. Again, it was an enjoyable experience and very easy on the pocket book.

  Overall, my stay at this hotel was mediocre. The hotel itself it very beautiful and clean, in an awesome location in downtown San Jose, and the hotel staff are very nice. But there were problems with my check-in, involving three separate returns to the front desk until we finally got placed in our correct room. And I had the WORST dining experience of my entire life at the neighboring restaurant in the casino. Terrible customer service, involving charging me for an entire meal that I was unable to eat because of how it was prepared, and offering no options to fix the problem.

  I have stayed at this hotel many times. This place is clean and has a great local breakfast that I really enjoy! Rooms are quiet and have their own air conditioner in each room as well as a laptop safe. Walking distance to several casinos as well as the Club Colonial located on property. A safe place to park your car. And the central shopping street is two blocks away and you can shop like a local. The only thing I did not like was the taxi to the airport cost 30 to 40 dollars if you cannot get on the free shuttle that runs from 5 AM to 8 PM. Also, San Jose and area has gotten very expensive with food and other items costing the same or more than in the States. Since Walmart bought every food store in CR the prices have tripled. But the Sleep Inn is still a good value for what you receive in service! Stay here, you will love it!

  Safe, clean hotel. Centrally located to shopping and museum, restaurants, etc. I would high recommend this hotel to travelers to San Jose, Costa Rica. Good English spoken by staff. Able to book excursions to various destinations through the country. The hotel provides a shuttle service to and from the airport, and an excellent breakfast served every morning, cheerfully by the staff (Alejandro and Lisette). A bit pricier than the other local hotels, but worth it.

  There do not seem to be multiple hotels that are up to international standards in downtown San Jose. Like many other reviewers have commented, this is very similar to a Sleep Inn In the United States. There are no bellmen to help you bring your luggage to your room (you bring it yourself on a trolley). There is a free breakfast (with some local variety food and slightly better food than most choice hotels buffets in the US, but definitely is not anything to write home about). The room is on the small side but clean. I didn't appreciate that the housekeeper did not leave us any replacement soap or shampoo for our second night there. The 2 women who worked at the front desk (can't say the same about the man who checked us in) were super accommodating. They made sure our cab driver understood the location of the restaurant where we wanted to dine. Location is as good as it gets in San Jose, walking distance or a short cab ride to multiple places. San Jose itself is not really a beautiful city. It is too bad choice hotels doesn't open some hotels in other areas of Costa Rica (which as a whole really is a gorgeous country). Security of the hotel is excellent. It is literally in a heavily guarded compound (which seems appropriate in this city). It is now 3 weeks after my check-out date and I'm still waiting for the nights to post to my diamond CP rewards account so that my status is renewed for 2016. I do not understand why it takes so long for this international locations to post nights/points. I checked out of another Choice Hotel a couple nights ago in the US and the night posted 1 day later.

  The Hotel, located in the heart of downtown San Jose has nice grounds, clean rooms and friendly and ever helpful staff. The rooms are comfortable and modest but tastefully appointed, and access to the hotel is easy and safe. The breakfast food quality is not on par with the overall experience, but the attentiveness of the staff makes up for it. Whatever problems relating to the overall functioning of the hotel arise, they are dealt with quickly and efficiently. The prices are affordable. Great place to stay.
