    Nous avons prépayé une suite avec petit déjeuner. A notre arrivée, nous constatons qu'il n'y a pas de petit déjeuner et que ce n'était pas une suite. Nous nous sentons trompés. Heureusement, le lendemain, à la réception, nous avons rencontré Irene, qui nous a beaucoup aidés, elle nous a donné une suite et quelques coupons pour Starbucks. Si ce n'était pas pour elle, nous aurions déjà annulé l'hôtel. Service régulier, un jour ils ont oublié de faire notre chambre. Mais il est très bien situé près de la plage.

    Très belle hôtel les chambres sont spacieuse la salle de bain avec une très belle douche . Le personnel à l'accueil est vraiment très agréable surtout cedric que nous a très bien accueilli. La plage en effet est à quelques mètres donc idéal pour se promener. Je n'ai rien à redire sur cette Hôtel d'ailleurs j'ai fais plusieurs hôtel ce mois ci est c'est bien celui ci que je préfère dès etats unis . Merci à vous .

    Positive: The hotel was clean and about a 10 min walk to the beach. Overall not a bad price. Negative: Too many homeless people in the area. It smelled like urine outside. There was one staff and she was rude everytime we interacted with her.

    The website on Marriott.com gave misinformation about the room. It stated and allowed me to choose a roll away bed. It wasn't until I arrived in Los Angeles and called to let them know I would be checking in later that I found out that roll a way beds were not allowed. When I told the manager that I selected the Marriott because of the roll a way option his response was harsh and said "I cannot accommodate so I will cancel your reservation". I'm in Santa Monica with sold out hotels- cancelling was not an option. They also do not provide parking. Your only option is valet parking at $50 or find street parking. However, you must feed meter by 8 a.m. Also, the extreme homeless population did not make me comfortable walking late a night alone. I had to valet. The last straw, was my child waking up and noticing her pillow had stains. We came in late at night to the hotel and went right to sleep. The pillow was dirty. I would not stay here again.

    This hotel is basic, clean and adequate for the most part. The major problem with the hotel is the lack of coffee. There is no self serve coffee in the lobby in the morning and the understaffed coffee shop has a 15 minute wait to buy a cup of coffee. This makes you choose between being late or un-caffeinated. For those who need their morning coffee, this is unacceptable.

    This hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. We loved the size of the room it was huge! It was a perfect location and walking distance to downtown Santa Monica and the promenade.

    This was our second time staying at the Courtyard Marriott Santa Monica. Super convenient location to walk to anything in the area pretty much! Exceptionally friendly staff and excellent service when anything is needed. The hotel and rooms are up to date and very clean. The mid century modern design is fantastic!! Having a cafe inside that is open from early in the morning to the late night coffee tops it all off.

    The staff went above and beyond for me during my stay. It was my first work trip away from my 3 month old and they were so kind and accommodating, storing my breast milk for me without making me feel as self conscious and being empathetic in general. They even found me dish soap and sponge so I could clean my breast pump while I stayed there.

    Aside from the fantastic location of the hotel, perhaps more importantly the service was excellent. Thanks for your help and great smiles. Attitude tells tales of how the staff feels about their work. The room was large enough for our family, bright and clean. I really liked the breakfast service downstairs. One thing I noticed and was impressed by - there are three large and fast elevators, so you always have quick access. Same applied to getting all our stuff out of the car in the parking lot. Plenty of room and great help. Did I mention the location? - Well, it's close to the pier but also just steps from various shops and businesses. Even my kids mentioned how much they liked the place, so that has to count for something!

    The hotel is in a great location but it is above a gym that starts operating very early in the morning (6:30am). Do not agree to have a room on the second floor as you will not be able to sleep unless you are happy to have music as loud as you expect in a club. Watch out!

    Gutes Hotel in zentraler Lage. Pier fußläufig in 5-10 Minuten. 3. Street mit Restaurants ebenso schnell erreichbar. Metro Rail direkt vor dem Hotel. 20 Minuten Bahnfahrt nach Downtown LA.

    Booked three nights there, and read online there was self parking. When I arrived it was valet parking only which was additional $50 a night. I had ants in my bathroom and only one small bar of soap to use in shower and sink. Great location, but other then that I will not stay there again.

    All the staff and the team were simply amazing! Due to Omicron, we had to change the travel schedule in the last minute, but the team was so kind and efficient in accommodating the change. Not only that, but also, as we were on the long stay (7 nights), they provided us a quiet room with the ocean view, which was really appreciated after arriving from a long flight from Singapore. The location of the hotel is absolutely the best, easy access to both highway and metro as well as restaurants and shopping mall. Starbucks and ATM at the lobby are also convenient. Thanks to the great hospitality, we had a wonderful 7-day vacation over New Year's Day!

    This hotel is fine. Broadly speaking, location is great. That being said, adjoins a Salvation Army shelter so there's a tremendous number of homeless individuals all around, but even on Third street promenade, so take that with a grain of salt. I would say it was as expected except for not getting a single courtesy bottle of water in our rooms.

    The location was good, close enough to the coast and there are a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. The area felt a little unsafe after dark but the hotel felt safe as only those with room keys could enter. There is a laundry room which was really convenient.

    We had a great time staying at Courtyard by Marriott Santa Monica. The room was clean and stylish. Due to covid there was less cleaning of the rooms, but we really didn't mind that at all. Additionally, the pool and hot tub was a nice touch! We did the hot tub almost every night. The location was great, because we got to see all that Santa Monica had to offer. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

    Positive: location! walking distance to Santa Monica Place, third street promenade, santa monica pier and beach. Room size is good. Negative: My only complaint is that the hotel only offer valet parking. I do not like valet parking not only because of the cost, but also the inconvenience. Yes you provided extra service but it didn't give extra convenience, but the opposite.

Yes you provided extra service but that did not bring extra convenience - it caused the opposite, inconvenience. I understand that some people may like valet parking, but they are not the majority. I need the convenience of TIMELY access to my car any time, multiple times a day, not have to wait for 10-15 minutes for each access. Sometimes I need the car to go somewhere, but many times I may just need to get something from my car. You should offer the option of self parking.

    I stayed at the The Courtyard in Santa Monica this past week with my wife. We are kind of fussy about where we stay, and we were very pleasantly surprised by the overall quality and value of this facility. The staff was as courteous, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly as any five star hotel. The rooms were clean, cheery and bright. The location is great, in walking distance to restaurants, the beach, etc. Overall a great value compared to the pricey hotels in the same area.

    My fiancé and I stayed at the courtyard Marriott Santa Monica for 1 night as part of our weekend getaway. Overall a good experience. The hotel was very nice and modern, with hardwood floors in each room. That was very nice, however we could hear our upstairs neighbors all night due to the thin flooring. The pillows were also very thin, making it hard to sleep overall. The location however was very convenient being just a few blocks from Santa Monica pier!

    This was our second time to this Marriott, and it will certainly be our last. I don't ever waive around being a platinum elite member so I only mention it now to give insight in to how often I stay at Marriott hotels. This experience was by far the worst. I check in on the app early as I always do, and still am not provided a mobile key. What's the point of an app and check in process and mobile key if you cannot bypass the desk? At that point, I'm just going to get a physical key. It's become a useless "feature" this past year as no Marriotts have been providing the promised mobile key ahead of arrival. To then get to the desk and be told to essentially go through the entire check in process again, including swiping a card despite the one I checked in with being on file and the one I preferred to use. I had to insist I did not want to swipe the card I had on me, and the desk agent requires me to swipe it anyways claiming it will only charge $50 for "incidentals" and the rest will go to my card on file. Something I've never had to do or heard of at any other Marriott ever. My full charge has always gone on to the card I checked in with via app with no issue. Before I sign, I ask her if she's certain this will only charge $50 because the screen was showing the full amount of the room. She says yes it will only be $50, the rest will go on your card on file. As soon as I walk away, a notice from my bank that $360 had been charged by the hotel comes up. She blatantly lied and when I returned to ask for a receipt showing the card the room was charged to she refused and said it was put on the "card on file" not the one I swiped .. until I show her my bank showing the charge. Another blatant lie. She finally goes to get a manager who was kind but did really nothing to solve the issue at all. She just charged the card I initially wanted charged hence checking in with it, and now I am still stuck four days later with it pending on my debit account as well- the exact reason I never EVER check in with debit at hotels, until this useless desk agent forced it here for no reason other than not knowing her job. The fact that she was also training someone makes it 10x worse and I hope the new hire gets much better training than what we received this day.

    We were not very happy with our experience this time. Our AC never worked properly and our room was very warm. Also, upon arrival we found dirty towels along with open soap wrappers in our bathroom. As we were there for a wedding we were not in the room that much but wanted to note it was not a good experience overall.

    The hotel is super nice, very close to the pier 5-10 minutes walk, restaurants and beach. The hotel staff is great very courteous and willing to assist, parking is expensive $49.50 per night but parking is not free in that area. The rooms are spacious and clean, beds are superb.

    Stayed here for a long weekend trip to do the Malibu Triathlon. This hotel is in a good location. Not far from everything, but just far enough to be quiet. Room was a good size for a 2 queen. Had plenty of extra room to spread out. Would stay here again.

    The hotel room was clean and spacious and the hotel itself is located in a prime location in Santa Monica. It was very difficult to enjoy our room due to the guests above us constantly making noise and stomping throughout the day and night. It sounded as if several children were jumping and running in their room. It was tolerable during the day but the noise was deafening at night and kept us from getting a good night's rest. The first night, the staff was able to get the upstairs guest to quiet down but the following nights the upstairs guest continued to be loud until 3 -4 am in the morning. Despite our calls to the front desk they continued to carry on jumping which kept us all awake throughout the night. It put a damper on our time, as we were more interested in going back home than enjoying our stay. This experience was definitely a bummer considering the nice time we had the previous year.

    Although the location is great in the heart of Santa Monica, it doesn't always feel safe to walk around in the evenings/night. Lobby doors remain locked from the outside at night. The rooms are modern, but the quality is below par. Noise through walls and floors is very loud. You can nearly hear people speak verbatim next door. Rooms are cleaned sporadically (and supposedly only via request); nobody asked me if I wanted my room cleaned, yet it was cleaned the third day of my 4-day stay. Lotions, towels, etc. felt cheap. All are geared towards men, including the scented lotion, shampoo, etc.

    I was itching on my first night and couldn’t figure out why it was happening. The next morning I was about to make the bed when I pulled the tucked in sheets from the foot of the bed and found napkins between the comforter and the sheet. This showed me housekeeping is not changing the sheet. When I notified guest service and lady at the front desk acted like she didn’t care and like it’s happened before. She didn’t apologize. She did call housekeeping to do a cleaning. I did speak with the manager which she was very helpful and did apologize. With Covid i would think they would change the sheets. I definitely would not be staying again.

    Good central location, close to the pier, promenade and lots of dinning and shopping options close by. Paid for an upgraded room which was spacious and well appointed with a funky retro beach vibe. Vallet only parking which is a little pricey for what it is but this seems to be pretty common at higher end hotels these days.

    Hotel itself was super clean and the room was spacious and comfy. Service was friendly and attentive. Down side is the location…. Located directly across from the LA metro, the sliding doors are kept locked at all times and you need to be buzzed in for security purposes. That said, you walk 1 block up and it’s nice.

    This hotel does not meet Marriott standards. It’s a very old hotel that needs updating. Refrigerator in the room did not work. When I checked out they were charging me for two $10 vouchers they provided for complimentary breakfast. They were also charging me for internet. I am a platinum rewards member and get free internet. Will never be back.

    Our experience at the Courtyard by Marriott was first class from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. We had to leave another hotel in Santa Monica because it was too small and wouldn't work for our one-week stay. When we arrived and explained our situation, the young lady at the front desk went out of her way to find someone to show us some rooms. (Who does that? - It was awesome customer service.) We were very pleased with the service we received from everyone at the hotel. Housekeeping was amazing! The place is clean and neat as a pin. The parking valet service was awesome. I never had to wait for my car (they have a great texting system to request your car). The security was top-notch. We never felt unsafe as others have indicated in their reviews. In fact, the doors were always locked, requiring a room key to get access to the building. Elevators also require the room key. The security is well thought out. The room itself, however, was the real superstar. It was spacious, with plenty of room for sitting and relaxing. There was a desk, a safe, and a huge bathroom with modern fixtures. The mattresses were very comfortable, and we slept well each night from all the walking we did each day. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Santa Monica. It is only a short walk to Ocean Ave and the Pier, as well as, the Third Avenue Promenade. So many great restaurants to choose from, and a Target on the same block made this one of the most convenient hotels I have ever stayed in. Thank you to all the staff for saving our vacation and making us feel comfortable during our stay in Santa Monica!

    Pros: Clean, updated room. The location is great for walking to restaurants, shopping and the pier. Safety features like requiring key card to enter elevators and gym. Cons: Overnight parking is $45/night Logging into the free wifi is confusing and we were charged $9.95/day No dining, coffee and pastries only and only until 9am

    We checked into our room late at night and we had no towels, toiletries for our family of four. After a long day’s travel we couldn’t even take showers. Horrible layout of the bathroom with no place to put your stuff during the shower. Floors had dirty grains of stuff and our beds had some grainy things in it. Location was nice but comfort and cleanliness was a zero.

    The hotel is really nice but there are several issues to mention that makes me not recommend it: 1-We booked a room for 4 guests and checked in on a Thursday evening. The room only had 2 bath towel, not a big deal, I requested 2 more towels using the app, and the towels arrived the following day at 8 AM (!!!). I was annoyed that someone was knocking at my door so early in the morning. 2-The parking is extremely expensive at $50 per night. 3-The most important issue was my interaction with a staff member in the front desk, his name is Chris. The situation is that when I checked-in nobody told me that the rooms are not cleaned daily, I have my family as a witness. It's fine that the rooms are not cleaned daily, but the following day (Friday), I asked not to have the room cleaned and someone wrote down my room number and told me they won't clean the room....so if later I found out the rooms are not cleaned daily why this front desk person wrote down my room number and told me my room won't be cleaned???? Then on Saturday at 6 PM I found the room not to be cleaned, so I went to talk to Chris in the front desk and he explained the rooms are not cleaned daily which I said I was never told, to which he replied that guests "sometimes don't hear the information and I know you were told about it", basically he was saying I was not telling the truth. Then he was behaving in a very condescending way, very "cocky", saying I should "call the corporate office, his manager, etc.", he was using all the annoying "tactics" he learnt to deal with frustrated customers but he was applying them in a wrong way. He has really poor manners to deal with customers. Not surprisingly there are complains about him in the Google reviews I checked. So, these are the reason why I won't recommend this hotel. Thank you

    Hotel is clean and front desk staff are helpful. Location is good, is walking distance to pier and beach. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Getty Museum is ~20 mins away. Fair bit of noise from Colorado Ave traffic. My biggest complaint is the value. I paid as much for two nights as I have for nice business hotels in DC and SF. Valet parking is $50/nt and given that parts of Santa Monica are pretty sketchy and there's no self-parking option, this is your only option.

    Although I wasn’t crazy about the Santa Monica beach itself, I would stay here again for the hotel. The room was 2x the size I am used to and the friendliest staff we had come across after a week. The laundry room was a saving grace for us as well. If you’re taking an extended trip, having a space in the hotel to wash your clothes is so important! We felt beyond pampered here.

    It's a great location with convenient access to the beach/mall/shops. The onsite staff, from valet folks to the front desk members have always been nothing but helpful and courteous, no matter I am checking in early in the afternoon or arriving late in the middle of the night. Spacious rooms with clean design works very well for me as well.

    This hotel is located in downtown Santa Monica and is steps away from the pier, bars, and restaurants. Great value if you’re a Bonvoy member! Room was clean and modern. Be careful walking around at night. There are a lot of homeless hanging around the entrance and by the light rail station. Security is great though and they keep the doors locked at night.

    I loved staying at the hotel. Clean rooms and great view what more can I ask for? The executive suite was huge with great furniture. I didn't like the fact that it's called the partial ocean view suite but you can't even see the ocean from the view lol. I do think since you can't see the ocean the room should be a little bit more cheaper. Other than that it was great and the pool is also heated for those windy santa monica days.

    The staff was extremely friendly and helpful but this hotel is NOT a category 7. The comforter had stains and the hotels seems dated. Train outside is very loud until late at night and again early in the morning and goes all day. I would not stay in this property again

    We received lots of friendly service from Paula at the front desk. Since the pool was shut down for cleaning when we arrived she arranged for us to use the pool at the hotel next door. Then she recommended a great Italian restaurant within walking distance to the hotel. We needed some wash cloths for the bathroom and she had some sent up right away. The room was very clean and we felt comfortable there. We had a very pleasant stay at the Courtyard Santa Monica.

    We had multiple problems with our rooms (I had 2 rooms) being cleaned. We made reservations 3 times to have our rooms cleaned over the course of our 8 night stay and they were only cleaned 1 time. The water in our shower would take - no exaggeration - 10 to 15 minutes to get hot. We would need to turn it on, do other things, and then come back and get in it. What a huge waste of water and an incredible inconvenience. One of the 15#, 20# and 25# dumbells and both of the 10# dumbbells are missing in the fitness center. It's hard to do a weight workout when the most commonly used weights aren't even there. The location is good but the homeless problem is getting crazy. The views from the our king room was almost directly into another building. It is described as a "courtyard view" - there was no courtyard to speak of. The pool area isn't very welcoming. Since it is almost completely covered by the building, it got almost no sun. Joyce, the overnight front desk worker, was wonderful. I got up early each morning to work from the lobby and she always met me with a smile, learned how I like my coffee and was friendly and helpful. The rest of the staff was friendly, but after 8 nights I got tired of them being nice but stuff not getting done (like our rooms not being cleaned and our hot water not working). All in all, I would have probably shrugged off many of these problems if I were only staying for a night or two, but when you're staying for 8 nights, those small items add up and really start to ruin the trip.

    Hôtel bien situé à Santa Monica à distance à pied de la plage, du Pier, des boutiques et restaurants et des transports. Hôtel tout neuf, belle décoration contemporaine, lumineuse et gaie. Chambre studio avec 2 lits Queen très spacieuse et très bien équipée (grand bureau, canapé, fauteuil, deux chaises), terrasse avec mobilier, kitchenette avec machine café/thé, petit frigo et micro-onde. Salle de bain très cool avec un grand visuel de surfeur. La chambre manque un peu de rangement, mais ce point faible est largement compensé par le reste. L'hôtel ne propose pas de petit déjeuner, ce qui est dommage, même si le corner Starbucks dans le hall offre son assortiment habituel de boissons et snacks. D'autres options sont disponibles à proximité. Le personnel est accueillant et efficace, le valet parking très pratique. Nous avons trouvé que c'était un camp de base idéal pour visiter Los Angeles tout en séjournant près de l'océan, que l'on apercevait de notre terrasse, à seulement 15 min en voiture de Venice et 30 à 40 min environ de la plupart des autres destinations (Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Downtown, etc...)
