  Booked this suite because property was close to granddaughter’s school (we were watching her while parents were away). First impressions matter and ours was not great. Carpet was stained and left our feet black if we went barefoot. Advertised as having a “wet bar” - there was no sink there. The a/c couldn’t be turned off, the fan ran non-stop. Dead bugs in shower light, tiny gnat bugs would appear and disappear around the nightstand and coffee counter, bathroom vent had lint hanging from it. The staff was nice but we would not choose this location again.

  I would recommend this hotel based on the friendliness of the staff, the location, and the comfort of the beds. I would add that you are able to hear everything through the walls, so if you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs. We heard the alarm for the next door neighbors though the walls. But, location is fantastic, and, honestly, the staff is so magnificient that I recommend them.

  This hotel is located conveniently to the freeway. If is also walking distance from a Cracker Barrel and within minutes drive of several nice restaurants and a Winn Dixie grocery store. The staff were helpful and really did a good job to meet my needs while there. The rooms were clear and updated.

  we have stayed at this location multiple times. It is close to family, the rooms are spacious, the staff is friendly, the food is good in the mornings, and everything is clean. In addition the location is easily accessible and there is a Cracker Barrel you can walk to. all in all a great place to stay/

  We used this hotel the night before we checked into our hotel on the beach. It's a good hotel that is right off the interstate, so it's very convenient. It's also next door to a Cracker Barrel, which helped with easy food choices the morning we checked out. It's a good hotel. Rooms are a little small, but overall very good.

  Made my reservation via app. Checking in was a breeze. My room was a suite . Comfortable for my family with plenty of space. Front desk manager and staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was so good, with a cup of coffee to go. Mahalo Hoilday inn

  This is my go-to hotel whenever I visit St. Petersburg. The location is perfect for Downtown St. Pete or Tampa - but more importantly, the hotel is very comfortable and welcoming. The rooms have nice amenities - we loved the big shower (great water pressure) and the comfortable bed. Will be returning!

  Pretty much said it throughout review. Stayed here before. However this time was a very negative experience. Had trouble understanding the staff person during check in and went downhill from there. Please read full review. I have never given such a poor review to a hotel.

  The window seal leaked at the base. Water ran onto the A/C unit and onto the rug. The ceiling was leaking water and part of it fell onto the floor soaking the rug. I reported it to the front desk, and it was like oh well. The breakfast area was a little to be desired. The pancake machine did not work. i reported that also and the response was " yes we know". Then remove it. The staff were very helpful. The property otherwise was very nice, and I would recommend it to others. Great location right off 275.

  I would recommend this particular location to anyone. I was exceptional happy that it was near the conference location that i had to attend. There was an eatery location right next door that i could go to after the conference.

  The front end staff was fine. The morning breakfast and crew were fine. The location was fine. The room although looked clean; definitely was not. The bathroom had hair all over the floor. The ceiling in the shower had mold on it! The rug in the main room was dirty and had debris all over with long black hairs everywhere.! The AC had ants crawling on it! The ice machine on our floor was broken. Cleanliness is a must please!!!

  My daughter and I stayed here for the anime expo that was in town. The staff was courteous. The cleaning staff was amazing. Breakfast was sufficient for what it was. There were options for everyone. I love the ease of check in and out. The only hiccup I had was my room was offered at a cheaper rate, it was after I was able to cancel my current room rate and rebook.

  Stayed here while I had to deal with family death and it was a life saver. The location made it easy to get around, and the room itself was the perfect size for such a long stay. The staff were incredibly understanding and helpful and made this part of the trip the least of my worries.

  Positive: We were there for one night. The room was very modern, clean and tastefully done. It was quiet. All the necessities were provided. The person checking us in was very nice. The guy checking us out not so friendly. Good location to Tropicana Stadium. Negative: The TV did not have good reception. Breakfast was tasteless and the sausages were like hockey pucks. Could have more of a selection of snacks and microwaveable foods.

  This was my second stay at this property. The location is very convenient for my visit to St Petersburg. A very clean and comfortable place. There were 2 small issues. Had an issue with a light in the room that kept going on and off. I should had called the front desk but tried to see if the bulb was loose. While checking the bulb it broke in my hand resulting in a small cut. The next day I informed housekeeping staff of the broken glass. I also informed the front desk of issue with light. The glass was cleaned up but the light was not repaired. The second issue was after being out all day we returned and found that the room had not been cleaned. I had to go too front desk and get clean towels. Despite these issues I will return to this property and do recommend it as good place to stay.

  Management with no accountability. She literally told me my perception of unclean was distorted. I’m a nurse practitioner—and we’re living in a pandemic and the cleanliness of this room was subpar. I wipe down every hotel room that I stay in. The bathroom had yellow residue on the top of the toliet bowl, in between the area near the hinges of the toilet seat on the bottom of the toilet. Resembles old vomit in my opinion, someone who had seen it for years. I went to the front desk and told Danny. He told me it was probably caulk but they he would come assess. He took a tissue and wiped it and the yellow substance came up and he said yes this was not cleaned properly. I’ll leave a note for the manager and you need to stop by in the morning and tell her. I stopped by around 10:45am am lady at the counter asked why I needed to speak to her and she said oh you’re in 415 we’ll she’s not in yet. Vanessa said she helped clean room and my report was shocking and that she issued me points back to my account. I told her I don’t want any points and I have pictures and videos of the bathroom and she still continued to defend that she helped her lead housekeeper clean that room.

  Nice hotel. We had an issue with a barking dog the first night. We mentioned it to the front staff multiple times and the issue wasn’t resolved. Traveling with an infant made this super frustrating as she was up until 1am due to the barking dog.

  No sound insulation, keep a pair of ear-plugs for the night. Breakfast has almost no healthy choices. AC is under window with no way to redirect the flow, for the night it's ok, but if you stay in the room, you have to be constantly looking for the right spot. Staff is really nice, but it doesn't help much. :)

  I stayed here before and no issues encountered we love the place but this time at this stay there were some issues. The second floor we stayed smelled at marihuana the entire hallway, hotel tried to quiet down the smell with air refresh but was very bad and parts of the lobby. Around 2am that smell filtered from hallway into the room. Hotel needs to enforce no smoking policies and at that time the front desk person looks like did not care when the issue what brought up Other than that issue the room and hotel amenities are great I use IHG properties over 180 nights a year due to business and we only choose certain brands that provides great quality

  For what I paid for the night, this hotel exceeded expectations as far as cleanliness and modern features. The biggest downfall was the unfortable bed. The breakfast was good and they allowed us to come in a few minutes after it was over to get more. For the price, I would recommend.

  I would have given "Overall Experience" and "Staff and Services" five stars except for the breakfast kitchen lady. We were told breakfast was served 6AM-9:30AM. We went down at 8:50AM. There was only a spoonful of scrambled eggs left and they were dry and overcooked. We let the lady in the kitchen know and she just shrugged her shoulders. I asked if she were making more and she said, "No, it takes 30 minutes." I told her it wasn't even 9:00 and if she'd please make more, we'd wait. There were at least eight other people in the buffet area and more coming down. She never answered me and went back in the kitchen. I again asked her if she were making more eggs or not. She snapped back that she had them in the oven. I don't know if she's required to cook them 30 minutes, but they were also very dry and browned. Every other employee we met however could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Danny at the front desk had the biggest smile and could not have been more friendly and helpful. He was just awesome! He made our stay Excellent!!!

  I get in late hot and tired. I have to bang on the door to get let in to check in. I am not thanked for being a platinum member and offered points or a snack. I end up buying a drink. The handicapped shower was sad. It had no shower chair and a huge lip that would have made it hard to use with a wheelchair. The toilet didnt flush right and even after having it fixed it still didnt work correctly. Breakfast was pitiful. No pancakes, no toaster, no fresh fruit the second day. No chocalate milk. no biscuit gravy. Good thing that the cracker barrel was next door.

  This property is, hands down, the most unclean of all IHG properties I have ever stayed in. Had it been for more than one night, I would have demanded a room change, however, when I asked for it in this stay, there was no comparable room available. The kitchenette had a heavy, sticky substance all over the cabinets and mini fridge, and the desktop and counters were not wiped down. My wife asked for sanitizing wipes to do the cleaning herself. There was a toy found under the pull out sofa, and crumbs of food were found in the fold up mattress. The carpet was stained terribly, making me question it’s cleanliness. Shower was also clearly not cleaned properly, and there was toothpaste splatter on the mirror and sink. At least the toilet looked like it had been wiped down. Additionally, lighting in the room was minimal. Very dim bulbs. Last, the breakfast options were few, and what was available for hot food was not hot. Eggs do not taste good when they’re minimally warm. I wasted my points and $31 on a one night stay that wasn’t worth half of that. Beyond disappointed. We will not be staying at this location again.

  The staff hear is the best. I would like to recognize Danny. Upon my arrival I met Danny at the front desk. During the checking in process, I requested a room on the front side of the building. I know it takes some effort to change rooms for guest. (My wife is a reservation specialist for a large camping company). With not as much as a flinch he said, "let me see what I can do. After check with housekeeping, Danny made it happen. I got the front room as requested. Later that evening after returning from dinner, I purchased a box of cookies. Low and behold Danny was still working. Danny was vacuuming the front entrance area. Danny stopped what he was do and immediately assisted me with my purchase. I asked Danny if they have any milk to sell. Danny told me they did not. Then he asked me to wait a moment. Danny left the front for a brief and like magic Danny returned in seconds with a milk box. Danny is the best. Danny is top notch. This stay would have been good. Thank you, Danny for making my stay a great stay.

  We selected this Holiday Inn express because of its location to the Elite tournament held in Clearwater at the Eddie Moore Complex. We were there for four nights. Danny at the front desk was excellent. He went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was excellent. We used Door Dash and was able to use the lobby in watch the Softball Tournament. Overall our stay was great. We will plan to stay here again in the future.

  I just can't say enough about the clerk that was working the first couple nights of our stay!!! So pleasant and helpful and attentive!!! You can tell he loves his job. I felt like he was so happy to see us when we returned, he asked us how our day was and where we went, what we did etc. He wasn't being nosy, he just knew we didn't know the area and were out for an adventure. Housekeeping was excellent. They always made sure we had what we needed. The bed was very comfy!!! Room was clean! Had everything we needed! Thank you.

  Holiday INN is always a Great place to stay. I have been treated with Respect and nice accomodations. There are many locations in different states that I have stayed, But there will always be something. No place is perfect and I understand that. With so much COVID and shortage of personnel something will be missed. On my last stay, there was a dirty small green towel in the bath room, that might of been dropped from their pocket or so. No big issue, but then we found to trash bags hidden behind a chair. Looks like the last guest was in a rush. I arrived at The breakfast area at 0830, food was almost gone and it took over 15 minutes to refill. Overall, Great

  Positive: The location in this hotel is fantastic. It is right off the expressway and close to everything. Negative: The air conditioner turns off in the middle of the night, every single night. No hotel I¿ve ever been to before had shut down the air conditioner. The breakfast was very limited and they would run out of items and let people without any breakfast.

  This hotel is in located in a convenient area. The staff is kind. The housekeeping department is not up to par, one of the days in our say we were left without any towels and the bathroom was not tended to. The housekeeper just did the bed. The breakfast items and it one hour before the actual time that the practice finished. Most of the time the items were very scarce. The refrigerator that they use for milk and cream cheese was broken and hot. The next few days there was no refrigerator at all. The air conditioner would be turned off with a timer in the middle of the night. This was my biggest frustration being that the room would become stuffy and hot within 20-30 minutes of the air being turned off by the timer overall, I did not think this was a good value. I will certainly not be returning to this location. I do not think that this location represents a Holiday Inn.

  This hotel rates high for cleanliness of the rooms and common areas. Communication by text, phone and email all excellent. Online check in very nice. Desk staff were professional, efficient and friendly. Sleep interrupted often with loud talking and slamming doors late into the night and early morning. I believe there was a music festival in town. Management cannot control peoples' lack of consideration, but I had to take a star off for poor sleep.

  IF they fix the loud slamming doors that vibrate through the walls to the room next door up into the nights and way too early mornings, and lower the rates maybe by $20 a night and this would be a 5 star hotel. Very clean, staff is most helpful and nice, great breakfast, good work out room, Cracker barrel in parking lot and good location. Take some good ear plugs!!

  Upon booking I requested a king size bed upon checking I was giving a queen size bed double room. I asked the receptionist was there anyway that it could be changed my fiancé is on the larger side she instructed me that they had no other rooms available and that I would just have to deal with it. We had to sleep in separate beds that night because of the mixup and I was not accommodated at all. The second time my fiancé and I stayed at a hotel I called Down to the front desk I requested a late check out while I was in the restroom a housekeeper came into my room and left my door wide open I went out into the hallway addressed her and I talk to her that I had requested a late check out via the front desk she said OK. A little while later another housekeeper came to my room open the door while my fiancé and I were getting cozy cozy. Not happy about that!

  We rented a condo for our stay and didn’t end up staying due to the lack of cleanliness. We booked this hotel a 1/2 hour before we arrived and I was skeptical of what we would get due to availability at the last minute. The hotel was clean, located in a good neighborhood, close to the highway. We were greeted by Bertha who was so friendly and helpful! She was there each night and made a special point to say hi to my daughter! Great experience.

  We spent 4 nights at this location and enjoyed every day. The staff were fabulous and very courtesy. The lady that served our breakfast was outstanding. She always had a smile on her face and acted like she loved her job. The room was good and the housekeeping staff checked daily if we needed anything. Overall we were very pleased with everything except the weather. Rained every day but one. lol

  The staff was extremely accommodating, very friendly. The room was very clean, had a very cozy and comfy feel to it. The breakfast was fantastic. The overall experience I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the area and will be returning my next time in St Petersburg.

  The cleanliness of the hotel made it feel new or recently remodeled. The staff was very pleasant and professional. The tables in the breakfast area were comfortably spaced out due to COVID-19 protocols. A staff member was the only one who could directly access the food. I'm eager to resume self-service for speed, but appreciate the caution and had no problem waiting the short time when I had to. I loved the mature trees in the parking lot and around the property. However, I did need a car wash after parking under a bird-filled tree.

  The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff obtained breakfast items from the usual hotel buffet offerings per our request and served in take out style containers. A good compromise considering pandemic issues. The staff was friendly and helpful. The fitness room was not opened until 8 am, a slight inconvenience.

  Over all a nice stay. Pillows were very comfortable. Blankets thin. Room clean and nice. Small pool. Rough elevator. Friendly staff, though when checking in, no one was at the front desk. I like having to use a key card to get in and out after it is late, makes things feel more secure.

  The room was nice size and bed was comfortable. Would like to see wipes provided to make sure tv remote has been sanitized. Room was fairly clean, but could use some improved cleaning measures. Room was not the most quiet I have been in as you could clearly hear conversation of guests in adjoining room. Not as much of a problem when fan was running.

  We stayed here while trying to find my son an apartment as he was just stationed here. The staff was willing to give us a great rate for an extended stay if we weren’t able to find anything while I was in the area. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. Everything was very clean. Only issue was an entire girls soccer team on our floor that couldn’t be quiet late at night or stop slamming doors but that’s on chaperones, not hotel staff or service. One night when it was getting way too late, hotel staff did come up to the floor and reminded them people were actually sleeping. It worked. We didn’t care for the hot breakfast but they had a variety of cereals and fruit too. Overall great stay and would return if needed.

  I was impressed with how clean this hotel was! Everything smelled fantastic! The cleaning lady was very prompt at bringing clean towels every morning as well. Enjoyed the pool and complementary breakfast! Also a major benefit is that they have on site laundry facilities! 10/10 would recommend!

  Excellent hotel for the value. Staff was awesome with service and safety measures. The breakfast ladies could not have been more helpful or engaging. Room was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again

  Great location to get to downtown St. Pete quickly. Rooms were clean and there were lots of towels in the bathroom. Generous amounts of shampoo, conditioner and soap in the shower. Comfortable beds. Decent breakfast and good coffee. Drawbacks are other than Cracker Barrell next door there are limited restaurant options nearby. Also was a little noisy at night, but it didn’t go on much past 11.

  This place was nice the beds are soooo comfy it was pure torture that I had to even get up to go downstairs to get breakfast. They have some cool things that you'll learn about the room while there I googled and ordered the exact desk lamp they had it was so cool. I really enjoyed my stay with my kids. Thy loved the pool, it could've been cleaner but that's my only complaint.

  Very nice rooms, spacious and clean. Enough room for my family of 5. Slept great (other than a guest next door being noisy, but nothing the bite did). Room was updated and stylish, plenty of light and outlets, coffee machine in the room, bathroom was clean and roomy. A very positive experience!

  The Holiday Inn Express stay was awesome. Every employee was great talking to. They were welcoming. Housekeeping was on the floor at a great time everyday. My last visit in St Petersburg I stayed at one of the "Beach Resorts". I paid 3 times for an outdated room that housekeeping never came in for three days. Breakfast was appealing and delicious. The ladies running it were super. Don't change a thing.

  I was suprised they had their hot breakfast. They had someone to serve you what they had eggs sausage bacon bread biscuits and omelet. We also had an issue with our toilet after the first day so we had to move to a different room but stayed on the same floor. The manager Bertha did a great job of making sure we were completely satisfied in the process and even went to the new room with us to make it was to our liking.

  This place has a great staff. This hotel is making it possible to enjoy breakfast. I was able to get scrambled eggs, toast, and bacon. They had additional items such as fruit and cereal. The rooms are clean. The Heat and air are on a normal thermostat. The temperature was easy to control. The bedding was comfortable and the bathrooms are clean. I will stay again at this hotel.

  We stayed one night in early July and found the hotel to be well situated off of I-275. We were greeted by the night clerk who checked us in. She explained how to use the key card to come back into the hotel after a certain hour. We liked the extra security that this provided to all of the hotel guests. We found the room to be modern and stylish. The A/C worked well and kept the room nice an cool on a very hot summer night. The bed was super comfortable and the pillows were terrific! Unfortunately, we did not get up in time to try out the breakfast offerings. I would recommend this hotel to others. It will be our "go to" hotel when we visit family in St. Petersburg.

  Great experience. Had an issue with the bathroom in our room and brought it up to the management, and they gave us a key to another room to use that bathroom. The rooms were very clean. Staff was very polite and helpful. Free breakfast was a plus. The pool was open and we got to use it (while socially distancing). Great experience overall. Will come back.

  Quel dommage de servir un petit.déjeuner avec uniquement des accessoires en plastique. Le petit dejeuner lui.même est composé d aliments tout prêts, ce n est absolument pas agréable.
