When checking in the card that was used to reserve should be checked. We were woken up at 6:15 AM the first morning of our stay by the front desk asking for the card and they continued calling while I went to retrieve the card. I had left my wife back to sleep but she could not due to the constant calling. The rooms were clean and laid out well. The mattress left a little to be desired but I expect that at most hotels now. The caulking around the shower was completely missing in 1 corner, leaving a giant gap for water to spill between the tub and the wall. Otherwise a fine hotel.

The Room was well used and the sink collapsed in the middle of the night

They have try to update. Bedding update would make a big difference. The room had old feel.

Room was okay. The bed do really need to changed for sure (old). They do need to clean the ceiling and walls.

Cheap and dirty is the word here. It is a bargain motel and you’ll get what you pay for. I guess…

Absolutely ridiculous!!! Will never stay or use choice hotel econo lodge again if not rectified in some way! I have another procedure in Castro Valley next month and when my injuries heal enough to allow me to go back to work I stay in hotels weekly

The hotel is in a good spot of town across from some stores, including a Safeway. The staff is friendly and kind. The rooms are average for a budget motel. The only thing I don’t like is the $100 deposit that is kept if you lose your motel key. I didn’t lose mine, but it definitely brought me anxiety. Seems unfair given they’re cheaper than $100 to create. Thin blankets for winter (which is all budget motels). Still, I have stayed here several times, and will likely return as long as the prices stay reasonable.

What an awful experience. Harassed and yelled at by staff member. When we tried to report something that was broken, we were treated rudely, accused of trashing our room, and would not check us out until our room was turned upside down in front of us. We were charged for something we REPORTED to already be broken. Awful experience and we will never be returning. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this motel.

It's a quality hotel at a nice and peaceful location with a good view of the city. There are nearby eateries and stores within walking distance. The rooms are comfortable. They have cable TV and internet. The rooms have temperature control, too.

It’s like a 7 I did not like the room the bed was old and broke. My have bed bugs. I know some of the rooms is better. The painting was new curtains was from the 1980s. Sheets look like they’re from the 1990s. Tv up to date refrigerator makes a lot of loud noise all night.

Hotel room was filthy, door was hard to open, there was no coffee maker. I needed towels and they ran out when I called the lobby. Curtains smelled really bad. I will never come back here.

I checked in very late and I was greeted warmly by the receptionist who had completed my check-in in less than 5 minutes. Wooden floors felt cleaner than carpet and the microwave and refrigerator are always a bonus.Quiet neighborhood and close enough to stores and the 580 freeway. I will likely stay here again.

This is a good hotel location for layovers when traveling North. Very close to San Francisco, if time for a day trip then stay two nights at this location. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast is coffee, juice, and prepackaged pastries.

As I mentioned before.... I like to visit California a couple times a year. But the hotel situation is getting completely out of hand. The pricing is ridiculous all over the state. And now, if you even find a room that allows smoking it seems like we smokers are punished even further with old, run down rooms. Very disappointing. I will soon stop even bothering to blow my vacation dollars anywhere in California.

DO NOT CHOOSE THIS PLACE. it's a filthy motel with terrible customer service. The manager called us in the middle of the night screaming that the water from the shower was leaking downstairs. She didn't introduce herself , the worst unprofessional manager I've come across. She came upstairs trying to bust the door open. She told me it was my responsibility to wipe the floors.... I had to call the police on her three times and we checked out. The carpets were dirty , the toilet had urine and not flushed with pubic hairs on the floor and tub and the bed covers were dirty and burnt from cigarettes. The refrigerator was leaking inside. As always, I bring my Clorox wipes just in case. After I wiped the main surfaces such as table, night stand and bathroom they turned black. We complained to Better Business Bureau which regulates small business. This place was a nightmare, don't bother to choose this filthy place.

Decor was kind of neat. Shower / tub was very spacious. However, housekeeping only visited 3 times in 5 days. Front desk staff was not particularly attentive. Bathroom fixtures leaked and/or were non-functional. Caulking was messy and poorly applied. Carpet was stained (bleach?). Pool was half-full of dirt, as if it had been in the process of being paved over and simply not finished. Overall, the place seemed to be managed a bit unprofessionally.

Good value and clean. Didn't try breakfast because up way early and had my own coffee maker. But besides that, the room, bed, desk and desk chair were comfortable. I laughed when they had an old push button phone attached above the toilet! Tube was huge, shower head good with plenty of hot water in the early morning.

The Econo Lodge in Castro Valley is in a great location, directly across from a large shopping center. The rooms are large, however it looks like they haven't been updated at all. The hotel offers fast check in, which is super nice. And finally the views from the rooms are fantastic.

Anonymous./ 5Le 11/16/2018 à 00:00
The front desk staff member was welcoming and efficient, and I have no complaints on that aspect of the stay. Unfortunately, the room was extremely worn with aged furnishings, broken lighting (operable, but with bulb sockets hanging off the lamp base), stained walls, etc. Thumbs up for appearance of general cleanliness overall, although the worn surfaces and furnishings gave an overall negative and concerning impression.

The front counter is friendly. Room was dirty and very outdated. Two office chairs squeezed in between the wall and the bed with filthy fabric so didn’t want to even sit in them. Hair in bathtub. Hot water was great. Wireless great. Not really a breakfast, it’s bad OJ and donuts with decent coffee. That is it, I’m not exaggerating. No room hair dryer. No cute little coffee pot. Too high a price for a dirty room with very limited amenities. No laundry room. Kept swimming pool padlocked up and no water in the hot tub, so false advertising. Yeah there wasn’t much to like. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Hotel seems decent, but my room was particularly bad. It was supposed to be non-smoking, but it was obvious a previous tenant had stuffed wet tissues into the smoke alarm and had been smoking something. The walls were dirty, the bed cover had burn holes on it, at least 1 chair was ripped while another had a missing cross support. Toilet continued to run about once an hour. Water pressure was good in the shower, and hotel staff was courteous, even though no one tended the room while I was out of it from 7:30am to 5pm. Bed was comfortable enough for a heavy sleeper, and area was quiet.

Hotel was in good condition, however the amenities are not there, unreliable, or a bit older than expected. Internet service was slow and spotty and TVs only have composite as opposed to HDMI. Chose this hotel more so based on it's location in regards to the business I needed to attend to while in town.
-
Anonymous./ 5Le 06/18/2018 à 00:00
Check-in was 30 minutes long and I was the only guest in the lobby. Sheets on one bed were torn, the other bed sheets were stained. No hair dryer, no iron or ironing board, no clothes hangers, bathroom floor tile cracked, bathroom light bulbs missing, shower rod almost unattached, cable channels not working, breakfast selection was only stale, hard donuts. Completely unacceptable!

The hotel staff are very courteous and helpful and they make my stay there very comfortable (almost like being at your home). The hotel has a great view of the Oakland Bay and most of the time is very quite and secure. When I come to the Bay Area whether it’s for business or pleasure I always stay at the Econo Lodge in Castro Valley, California.

The staff was pretty cold and didn't make me feel welcome. The room was clean and spacious but the TV was quite small in contrast. I was in town on business and needed the internet to revise a presentation for the following day. They gave me the last room on the 2nd floor and it didn't quite reach me with consistency or speed. The hot water stayed hot for a 20 min shower with good water pressure. The towels were very skimpy and thin. The location was idea being right across the street from a major shopping center and having close, freeway access. All in all, for the price and the hassle free check-in this is a clean, quiet place to stay.

Lovely hotel with fresh cookies and popcorn @ checkin. Nice comfortable rooms and a very good full hot breakfast. Parking is a little weird as most is under the hotel so headroom is a little low. but not really a problem.

I was in town on business and checked into hotel around midnight. I got to the room and unpacked. It was cold and raining so I turned on the heater. The heater didn't work. I walked up to the office and the gentleman told me that the deadbolt had to be secure for the heater to turn on. I went back to the room and tried that and still no heater. I had to go back up to office and he offered another room so had to pack up and move. Got to the new room, turned heater on and unpacked again. The smoke alarm started beeping so had to go back to the office again. He offered another room so I had to pack up yet again and move again. At this point, it was 2AM and I was done. He was apologetic however after all of this I should have been compensated or room comped. I booked 2 rooms for a coworker and her room was fine.

This stay was okay - rooms were clean enough and comfortable - although the what looked like it was either an ancient portable TV or a video camera in the bathroom was a little creepy (and stayed covered with a grocery bag the entire time just in case!). I generally stay at the other end of CV Blvd. when in town, but a last minute trip monkey wrench had me needing someplace a little less expensive. I figured the big differences between these two Choice Hotel properties, besides location, would be breakfast and decor. I was definitely right - huge difference in breakfast. I expected basic continental fare, but I didn't expect this to be nothing but donuts and coffee. The first day of our stay there was an empty juice container on the counter at 9am. I asked if there was more juice and was told no, so I just assumed I got there too late for the daily juice allotment. Alas, there was not even an empty container the next two mornings when I got to the lobby shortly after the stated 7am start time. A bit of a disappointment for sure, although not a deal breaker. The staff was friendly enough, but I must say it's been a long time since a hotel asked to make a copy of my driver's license. Okay, it's their policy so I went with it. We were originally booked for two nights, but another travel plan monkey wrench appeared and I needed to add a night. I found this out the first day of our stay so went to the office and asked the young woman working at the front desk to please extend our check out by one day. She said okay and made a paper note on our paper reservation tag. I was checking the app the next morning and my check out date still showed 1/1. I went to the office and another person was working. He was unaware of our request to extend our stay and said he needed my credit card again before 11am in order for us to keep our room. I'm glad I double checked! We were in town to see family and typically were out of the room from mid morning to early evening - would not have been nice to come back and not have a room or our belongings! He ran my card and we had no problems, other than our keys continually needing to be reset when we returned at night. We were told this is because we keep them near our phones. I travel quite a bit and have never had this many key issues, and I never keep my key by my phone for this reason. Again, minor annoyance but not deal breaking. So, meh. The place was clean enough and the bed comfortable. The towels were surprisingly fluffy. The smell of whatever air freshener is used that made me sneeze horribly the first day aired itself out (and we requested no housekeeping during our stay to keep the room aired out!). I'm not saying I'll never stay here again, but it wouldn't be my first choice due to the little annoyances that added up to make the experience more 'meh' than 'yay'.

Bedding (pillows) was inadequate, bed was uncomfortable, floor (carpet) was extremely filthy, room itself had holes in walls (small) and needed repair. I usually try to find a reasonable priced hotel when I travel, beings I pay for it myself and not have an expense account to cover it. I was extremely disappointed with this hotel, and will not want to book another stay at Econo lodge again, due to this experience.

Stopped overnight during a 10-day road trip. We've been staying at Choice Hotel properties all over for the last 10 years, but this was the most disappointing stay, except for the fresh donuts at the breakfast. Maybe because it was a Reward Point stay, we were given the last ground floor no-smoking 2-queen room at the end of the second building in the back of the property. Room was clean but needed overhaul, just as outside of the second building. Desk chair seat was torn in several places showing the padding, and both bedcovers had cigarette burn holes. There was no closet (hanger hooks on the wall only), and no luggage rack, and had to ask for one. Then, was given one from another room, with a broken strap. There was no WiFi signal throughout the night and in the morning, though my husband got very good signal in his main building room near the office. He was paying Senior/AARP rate for his room. We requested ground floor rooms when we booked online, because all three of us no longer can manage stairs, and called around noon to confirm the request. We must say we appreciated we were given ground floor rooms as requested.

Half the electricity went out for half of the room, that included the AC. The management could not fix it and they didn't they offer to move us to another room. We had to open the window to cool off the room, but the window didn't have a screen. When we woke up, the room had several bees in it and one stung my wife. There were only 2 pillows on a queen bed.

booked online as I needed a close place near airport for early flight. was rated 3.8 of 5 stars so I figured part of Choice Properties it would be OK. arrived after 8 pm, outside light was flickering, people milling around cars smoking. room had 1 chair with extreme torn cushion, shower had mold on ceiling and top of wall, 1 small hand towel was stained and there was some hair in the bath tub. I immediately checked the bed which was clean looking so I decided to stay. potato chips in desk drawer and last month TV guide on desk. mind you this was for a 2/11 stay. 3 small pillows for a king size bed, I had to struggle to get the window curtain completely closed on check out the office door was locked, he came to window where I slide the key into a slot, no receipt, he walked away, like some flop house.

I've stayed at this place many times, and have always been very satisfied with the customer service. The owners keep the property clean, and maintained. Especially happy to find a flat screen tv in my room. Keep up the good service, and I'll be back on my next trip.

The hotel was clean on the outside as well as my room. My bed was nice and comfortable. The pillows were firm with no other choice so if that matters it is a minus. I like the soft ones. I felt like the hotel was safe and it was easy to get there quickly from the nearby freeways. The breakfast is essentially non-existent so don't count on that. Still, the price was well below other hotels that I normally would stay at in the area which made it a good value. I will likely stay there again without any concerns.
-
Joan./ 5Le 10/21/2016 à 00:00
Older motel but very clean. There wasn't anything wrong with our room at all. There was a small bottle of shampoo and lotion but not conditioner. Probably just an oversight. My ONLY complaint would be that the breakfast offered was ONLY donuts, white toast, orange juice and coffee. It was a small area, right by the check in office, but surely they could add a little variety: muffins, cold cereal and milk.

Customer service with choice hotels was awesome. I usually stay at the Econo Lodge a few times a year when I visit family. I was a little dissatisfied with the room rate for what you get. The room rate was on the high end and I just felt the room was a little outdated. Paint and wallpaper were coming off. There was a phone in the bathroom that was not connected. The pocket on the inside of my door had graffiti (this pocket usually holds emergency or rate info). And finally my window did not lock properly, something I discovered on my second night. If management inspected rooms more often I think these things would be discovered.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are large enough but lack a few small amenities. The lighting was not adequate for me; but you might feel it is sufficient. The free breakfast was okay but it could stand to be upgraded. I like donuts so that worked for me. The coffee was good. The queen beds were ok but my back hurt every morning for a few hours. Staff cleaned the room regularly and responded to my needs. For the money, I would stay there again if need be. It costs a small fortune to stay in SF, so if you plan to go there stay somewhere outside the city. Transportation to and from is good. There were plenty of stores nearby if we needed something. Overall, I would rate this hotel 7 out of 10.

This was the cheapest hotel I could find and although I was happy about the price, I definitely got what I paid for. Front desk clerk was fighting with a guest so I couldn't check in for at least 15 minutes while they argued. Internet didn't work, hair dryer didn't work and the bathroom tub had weird black spots around the caulking.

EconoLodge title speaks for itself. The reception Manager Bobby (Robert) was helpful and friendly. The room was surprisingly large. The bed was comfortable. The shower was ok. The breakfast was a mini (coffee, donuts and OJ - that's it). The jacuzzi was so-so. The "heated" pool was very cold. The outside and interior renovation will definitely help.
-
Anonymous./ 5Le 09/30/2015 à 00:00
The room itself smelled clean upon entry, the beds & pillows were comfortable. The condition of the bathroom was terrible and smelled strongly of urine. Several floor tiles were cracked, the toilet basin appeared to be leaking where it met the floor, mildew present in the shower. It had such a foul odor neither my child or myself would use the shower or tub. The WiFi was not high speed and the breakfast offering was weak coffee, donuts or toast. I will not book this location again.

Cheap donuts, coffee, and orange juice counts as a continental breakfast. I have been staying at Econo Lodges on and off for several weeks now and the free breakfast always included fruit, cereal, pastries, yogurt, and waflles. I was very disappointed to be offered only cheap donuts. The lack of a washer and dryer for guests proved to be a huge inconvenience as well. And the office smelled musty. The room was clean and big and had decent cable. HUGE jacuzzi tub and nice shower. AWFUL toilet that took 3 times to flush. Overall, it was just ok. Most likely will not return to this particular hotel.

-
Duncan./ 5Le 02/09/2015 à 00:00
I booked the cheapest room type, the 1 bed smoking. First, the good. Internet was FAST. The bad... Old bathroom phone was cracked and damaged, and broken (please just remove it?), the TV was unplugged, there was a hole in the wall, even for a smoking room, it smelled unusually strong (In a room that had a second floor non-hall facing window! why not leave it open?) Everything about the room looked forgotten about. The hotel did have used furniture that was being removed in a pile, so I'm assuming that SOME rooms were better than mine. But, choose your room wisely, and know some of them are well below the standards I expect out of Choice Hotels. P.S. I was happier with the room I got in Denver that had used condoms left behind in it, because at least I got a feeling it was an oversight, not a habitual problem.

We stayed here as an alternative to SF for NYE as the rooms in the city were extremely expensive. The BART is 1 1/2 miles...not really walking access. We used Uber...$7 each way. The hotel is exterior corridors and our room door hardly latched to lock. If it wasn't for the Marine staying in the room with us, we would have moved. Also, the mattreses were sagging. The breakfast was donuts and coffee. On a positive, the room was large and appeared clean. This is a good location if you're looking for someplace cheap to stay a night. I would stay here again for that purpose.

Nice clean motel. Difficult to turn into from the Highway heading east. Convenient shopping center/Safeway across the street. Not too many restaurants nearby. Warm, nice flat screen TV. Good water pressure. Only a continental breakfast - toast, donuts, orange juice and coffee. Nice staff and manager.

This is very much a "greasy spoon" of hotels. Some minor defects include: carpet stains, broken bathroom floor tiles, leaky toilets, tears in the bedding, noisy mini-fridge, some lights not working, pool closed due to diarrhea, etc. But I would go again. Why? It's nice and cheap, the beds are clean, and I can get a good night's sleep right next to where I need to be in the morning. Staff is pleasant and helpful, and the cost is less expensive than Airbnb in the area. Keep on truckin' guys; just don't let it get too bad.

For the price, I don't think it could be beat. Just a normal hotel experience. Front staff was neither super friendly or rude, the room wasn't amazing but not bad, and the guests were decent and not loud or annoying. Bedroom was average, but cleanliness was an issue. There appeared to be some blood on one of the sheets and I came across several spiders and other bugs. The rooms were serviced nicely and they even took out my trash that wasn't designated in a hotel trash bag. I'd stay here again

Started out with cigarette butts and a discarded tampon at the hot tub. We booked a first floor room due to knee problems, and you guessed it, when we got there all they had was a second floor, with stairs. Then we opened the room door, junk on the walls, mold on the bathroom walls. Positives, the shower worked, and the bed was reasonable. Being Labor Day weekend, every other hotel at a reasonable cost was booked, so we were stranded. If you like to party til you puke, this is the place for you.

The hotel is in a safe location right across the street from a safeway and other stores. There are plenty of places to eat and other conveniences right down the street. The jacuzzi was great. The pool is small but still good. Rooms were clean. Price was right. Continental breakfast was only donuts and coffee.

I really enjoyed my stay at Castro Valley EconoLodge. The hotel room is clean and nice, bed comfortable, nice flat-screen tv. The hotel stuff cleaned it everyday so when I come back in the evening it was tidy. The location is good and there is a supermarket just across the street. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Room & bathroom appeared to be recently updated but there was mildew on the ceiling above the shower & the bed headboard was very dirty. One of the reading light switches didn't work, the chairs were wobbly and the table unstable enough that leaning on it would dump things in the floor. Continental breakfast was a few doughnuts & bread for toast with coffee. It was not replenished. We selected this as a sleep & leave kind of spot as we had a full itinerary every day. Although any request we made if the staff - extra pillows & clean towels everyday was responded to the facility is just not maintained well enough to do more than sleep & leave. We won't stay here again. It should be rated with a one.

I wish it was possible to give 0.2 stars because that is all this facility deserves. I had a reservation for 2 nights and called to let them know I would get there after 11pm. When I arrived, at check in I noted I had already been fully charged for both nights, not an authorization but fully charged, which has never happened in over six years I've traveled with Choice hotels. When we got into the room, the carpet was filthy, worn and looked as though it had never been cleaned or vacumed, no place to hang clothes in closet, and no remote for TV. I called immediately to to the desk with my concerns and was promptly told he would call me back. I waited almost 30 minutes when he did't respond and began calling him back. He never answered the phone so we took our bags and left, but stopped at the office ,which was closed down, and he heard the noise when we left the note with room keys. He said he would refund the money but as yet have not seen a refund.

Castro Valley is a peaceful place to begin with, the hotel is located accross Safeway and fastfood chains which is good if you need something from the grocery or for late meal. The room was clean and I like that the sink is outside the bathroom so that it is both functional when needed for. The bed and pillow was clean, the breakfast iwere donuts, coffee & juices so you if require heavy one, then might as well have it outside. Overall, like I've mentioned above, this is a good priced hotel to sleep in and btw, they give discount for goverment staff even from Canada.

We are hoping it was just the room we received, but it was so smelly, unkempt with holes in bedding and floor that we decided to leave and drive home after about an hour in the room. We had already decided we would not use the shower and would sleep on top of the bed with towels on the bedspread and fully clothed. That should give some idea of this room. Linens were threadbare, although appeared washed and some of the electrical things didn't work... phone in bathroom had no receiver, bedside lamp on one side had wires but plug had been cut off and taped so no light, TV remote did not do anything etc. The smell was so bad that we decided that the best idea would just be to "suck it up" and drive another two and a half hours home! We had stayed there a couple of years ago and it was perfectly adequate for the price and location.

Sparse selection for breakfast and the staff was very curt but polite. The room itself was nice, pool was heated, cleaning crew did a good job. I thought it met expectations for the price that I paid.

I am a native of the Bay Area, moved away 25 years ago. I needed a place to stay for 5 nights while in town for my 40th high school reunion. I thought Castro Valley was a safe choice and was centrally located for the family and friends I wished to connect with during my visit. Flew in to Oakland, drove to Castro Valley at night (much had changed) and immediately noticed you couldn't legally turn left into the Econo Lodge while traveling east bound up Castro Valley Blvd. I passed the hotel and had to u-turn quite a way up the hill to be traveling west to enter the narrow parking lot/driveway. As I approached my turn-in, I noticed a large man on a cell phone standing in the driveway of the adjacent uphill Castro Valley Inn. I parked in front of the Econo office and no sooner had I shut the car door, I was confronted by the same large individual, calling me Papa-Bear and offering me something that was definitely not on the menu, thus far my experience with this hotel was less than stellar. I proceed into the office and check in. I had paid in advance for the five nights, so paperwork was minimal. Re-parked the car in the tight single lane parking lot and headed to the 2nd floor room. It was a non-smoking room next to a smoking one, I feared the air quality would be poor, but surprisingly was fine. It had been a long day, it was late, I was tired and just wanted to sleep. I turned down the bed and saw that the blanket was stained with something resembling chocolate sauce and notice the rest of the room was just kind of grimy, I guess econo means dirty. In the bathroom the sink leaked badly, not a drip, but a small stream, that couldn't be stopped by tightening the handle, I thought they were in drought? I slept in my clothes, used the bath towels as my pillow, and was awoken several times throughout the night by slamming doors. I contacted friends to bunk with for the remainder of the trip. I paid for five nights, stayed one and will never, ever, used econo lodge, in any city again, the experience was that bad. My only regret in writing this review, that I "had" to give it even one star.

Good affordable place to stay in Castro Valley. The room was clean and everything worked. Housekeeping did a very good job every day. The couch, chair and ottoman have seen better days. Played with the grandkids in the pool and the front office even went and got us an umbrella for the table.

We stayed for 6 days 5 night for a leisure trip here. it is a quiet hotel, close to freeway 580 that can lead you to all over the San Francisco bay area. Environment is good and safe. Staffs are nice to deal with. check out is very speedy. Only if they can put some new amenities item daily and clean towels as we had some days that after the cleaning of room, the towels looks like they have not been cleaned with stain on them. Across the street, there is a decent grocery shopping area with restaurants. With the price, this is a good value hotel.

This experience wasn't awful but I did have an experience where I was treated as if I were a bother when I asked for more towels. The donuts tasted like they were cooked in old oil. Otherwise, it was fine. The place was clean.

Everything was fine during my stay. Just if you expect Breakfast in the Morning it is better to prepare items by yourself before your arrival. Nice Staff and Friendly environment Clean room as same as most Econo Lodges in US. Nothing more!

Need to clean towels or purchase new ones. The ones I had look like they were at least 10 yrs old and had been used to clean dirt, but rewashed (I hope). They were white, with lots of dirt stains on them. Also need to make sure linen is clean. I found hair in the sheets. Also band aids were put on the back of the remote control for the television to secure the batteries-that was unprofessional. I would suggest having a clock and or radio in the room.

I have stayed many nights here, as I have been working local to the hotel. Good value for the area. Small office does not allow for many items for breakfast. Donuts are the prime item, light wheat bread, jelly packets and butter, orange juice and coffee are provided. Staff is pleasant. Internet generally works, but there have been outages. If internet is down, by day, staff will call provider. If it is down by night, you could be out of luck. Operator has explained that a new internet provider will replace current provider sometime during the month of March. Rooms are comfortable enough. This motel has some age, and some upgrades are in progress.

Small lobby/office prevents having much for breakfast. Donuts, orange juice, and coffee are presented. Bread may be a request item. Used to have wheat bread, now white, so nothing nutritional to eat. Staff is pleasant. Rooms are old but comfortable enough. Value is good for the area.
