  The hotel a little dated but overall it was fine. The surrounding area was not great but it was ok. The staff was polite helpful and friendly. There was plenty of parking and the proximity of the hotel to the airport was a plus

  We had a great night at the hotel. Bed was very comfortable and the noise reduction were key items after a long day at the airport. Waking up to an excellent breakfast and ready to continue our journey. Transportation services were excellent and make it very easy for us to leave and return to the airport. Our sincere thanks to all the staff and management team.

  Our first choice is IHG because of our past experience with their modern clean spacious rooms In both Toronto and Collingwood. This hotel is very outdated / unfinished ( eye sore ) water repair / Dull atmosphere with worn carpet / smoke alarm hanging by wires / Hot water takes forever / Ice machine not working / soda machine takes money but gives no product. / walls are paper thin. We arrived very late because of flight delays. The next day was our early cruise boarding. My wife would of never stayed in this room if we had more time and options ( NEVER ) The ladies that prepared the hotel breakfast in the morning did a wonderful job. Thank You PS: IHG BLOCKED MY FIRST REVIEW

  All aspects of this hotel stay were good with the exception on the room smelling moldy. No amount of air freshener would cover this up. We felt the effects of this even after departing. We were located on the 1st floor. Our traveling companions had the same room on the 4th floor with the same issue.

  The staff where friendly and professional. The breakfast was wonderful. The pool was excellent temperature. I would recommend to friends and family to stay hear. The room was clean and spacious. Plus the have a shuttle that goes to the airport.

  Lovely rooms and comfy beds. Breakfast had a great variety, though the breakfast area could be a little bigger - seating very crowded. Transfer to cruise ships nice but a bit confusing, and about the same cost as a taxi or Uber to the port. Only downfall is that there is not a lot of places to dine out within walking distance. Had to negotiate the highway to get to a grocery store to bring back food to the room.

  This hotel staff needs to be retrained. We are customers and should be treated better. The hotel shuttle never arrived to pick us up from the airport. The front desk staff never acknowledged by membership until I asked about my perks. They just acted like they couldn’t care and even texted me on my personal phone saying thanks for being so professional when I called frustrated about the shuttle. Overall stay somewhere else

  . I have to wait at air port for 2 hours. And made 6 calls to hotel. Shuttle service is very confusing. It need a better way to handle transportation. I will suggest to provide a map at website where guest should wait for shuttle or at least to be clear at which terminal the shuttle bus will pick up.

  This property is conveniently located close to Fort Lauderdale airport, The room is clean and the beds are comfortable now on the downside we had an issue with the television on the phone and unfortunately we had to go down from the fifth floor to the front desk since we can contact the front desk via phone the attendant gave us instruction on how to possibly fix the issue but despite our efforts it did not work I had to go back down to the front desk just to be told that unfortunately we’d have to wait for maintenance to come in the next morning as they didn’t know how to fix it. I would still recommend this property due to the fact that it’s conveniently located and comfortable and clean but I’m a little disappointed with the customer service as we were not offer to change rooms to one that has a functioning telephone and television due to the fact that the problem could not be resolved but taking that out of the equation I would give this property another try.

  Upon our arrival we were treated very courteously by the staff. Room 109 has the best darn shower head pressure in the world. It's even better than the one at home. The bed was very comfortable after being at a wedding that lasted until the wee hours of the night. Thanks to the staff for all they did to make this a magnificent stay in a IHG group of wonderful hotels.

  This was a comfortable stay, however, couldn't get into our room with room key - attempted 3 times. Finally after several visits to the reception area, the maintenance man opened our door and informed us that it would work after 1 p.m. (it was after midnight and we were very tired!). Phones are not answered properly to obtain the shuttle service. Other than that, it was overall a good stay.

  This is a clean, comfortable hotel that is conveniently located for the airport and cruise port. The free shuttle from the airport is also very welcomed when arriving from out of country. Nice outdoor pool as well.

  The cruise industry is putting people into the co-located Holiday Inn Express and the Candlewood in Fort Lauderdale. Therefore, for as long as cruise ships are sailing, these hotels will be full. Which then leads to common-sense hotel management: HIRE MORE STAFF. I waited an hour for the hotel shuttle because the first 3 phone calls I made were answered hurriedly by several different people who told me to wait at baggage claim for the shuttle. So I did and I watched 3 shuttles pass me a total of 2 times each. It wasn't until a young man at the front desk, on Thursday 11-10-22 at about 8:30 pm, told me where exactly to wait! No wonder I got overlooked! So as for the actual staff and service? Great people doing the best that they can. But as for the actual service? Not good and not good due to a lack of staff. Beautifully renovated hotel. Great amenities. Great food. Coffee was spot on. But act now and HIRE MORE STAFF.

  My wife and I were in town from Cleveland and they held our bags before our check in. When we arrived our bags were safe and accounted for, our room was clean and comfy. One thing I will say the shower leaked on the floor a little bit other then that, we enjoyed our stay.

  We always try and stay at a Holiday Inn whenever we travel. The quality and value is always excellent! We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Ft Lauderdale Airport/Cruise for 2 nights prior to our cruise. We found the front desk staff were wonderful to interact with..friendly and polite! Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable, as always! There was an issue with the safe in our room and when I called the front desk, a maintenance staff member was at our room within minutes and was very diligent when working out the problem! The breakfast selection provided was excellent and the staff was very friendly. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again in the future!

  Close to the airport and cruise port, however the front desk staff union arrival were not friendly. I felt like the front staff would rather be anywhere else but there. They never asked if I was a rewards member and I lost out on points. Hotel is OK. Showing its age and overuse of the room. Needs to be refreshed, new paint, fix USB outlets, hood cleaning.

  Have always had a great experience here. This was our fourth or fifth stay here. Have used airport shuttle at times and in the future will use the shuttle to the cruise port. Lots of food choices nearby, convenient for airport and cruise port and not far from downtown. Great staff.

  This hotel seriously has some of the nicest staff you could want. We were evacuating from Hurricane Ian and the front desk staff made sure we got a room right away. They took a stressful situation and made it a little better for us. They had done the same a week before when we got stuck in town with my husband in the hospital. Such a caring staff.

  I take cleanliness and costomer service seriously. The staff were friendly and helpful in all areas. Great food suggestions, let us stay a bit longer, helped with luggage. But...This hotel could use better cleaning. Its older and we get that, but things were broken everywhere and hair was everywhere. We stay in a lot of hotels for business and are good with Holiday Inn but we wont be back to this particular one.

  Upon check-in the staff informed us that their system was down and demanded cash for us to be able to secure the room. No empathy whatsoever to various guests that were waiting to check-in. We finally had to withdraw cash from the ATM at the lobby. We stayed for 3 nights and had to request housekeeping at the front desk. According to the staff member, most people don’t want anyone to enter the rooms after check-in. I had to insist to have someone at least take the garbage on the second day.

  The front desk staff was extremely accommodating. We were very relaxed in the room on both the chase lounge and our nice and comfortable king size bed and pillows. There was plenty of desk, table, rack and closet spaces. The mini fridge/freezer was cold upon our arrival.

  Positive: Conveniently close to airport, and across the street from shopping, restaurants, etc. Decent sized room and comfortable beds. Negative: We were given a room on ground floor for disabled patrons, though we didn't request it. The shower was difficult to use and messy. Breakfast buffet was good, but service ended by 9:30.

  From check in to check out, staying at this Holiday Inn Express was a great experience. Appreciated airport shuttle to/from FLL as well. At check out which was very early in the morning and before they served breakfast, at my request, front desk gentlemen so kindly got my husband and I two of their yummy cinnamon rolls with forks and napkins to take along with us. I am sorry I didn't get his name, but he made our morning. Thank you for all.

  We had such a pleasant experience staying here. Everything was so perfect. Clean inside and property well kept. We parked our car for one week and it was fairly priced. Perry was extraordinarily helpful. When the shuttle couldn’t arrive for personal reasons on behalf of the driver, he asserted himself on a level of professionalism that’s rarely experienced these days! He arranged for a taxi who promptly arrived and dropped us at the airport. Smooth! The staff here is exceptional and we really hope corporate realizes his value.. We also appreciated the breakfast buffet. It’s was one of the best we’ve had at a hotel 5 star all the way we’ll done! The beds ,pillows so comfortable..

  Positive: The location is excellent. Ashley distance from airport and also cruise port. Negative: shuttle service from the airport was a mess; little communication between hotel & drivers. One room had been smoked in recently & nothing was done. Room carpet was dirty and sticky. All sanitizer containers empty. Stayed here many times. Has deteriorated.

  Positive: The staff was very nice and the room, lobby, and pool were very clean! The free breakfast had a variety of choices and the food was good. The proximity to the airport was a plus. I'd definitely stay here again. Negative: The only thing wrong is there is no restaurant on site, but there were places across the street to get food.

  Pluses: The room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good and the kitchen staff helpful Minuses: We called the hotel for the airport shuttle to pick us up and were told there would be a delay of about 30 mins, in fact we had to wait 60 mins. We called at 30 mins and were told it would be there "momentarily". It appeared that there was no communication with the driver as to where he was at any time. When we returned in the afternoon of the second day it had not been cleaned and the bins had not been emptied. We hot water in the room was rarely more that lukewarm. Our room key was inoperative after the first night and thus we had to return to the front desk to get new keys. The front desk was frequently unmanned, so we had to search around for assistance. One of the front desk staff wore no mask at all, despite the sign on the front door.

  Nice for the price. Didn’t get to take advantage of the breakfast because we left around 5:30am. The bed was comfortable and they offer two different pillow types which was nice. The shower had shampoo, conditioner and body wash installed so you didn’t have to mess around with those small bottles or bring your own! I gave sleep quality a 4 because of the smell coming from the air conditioner. It wasn’t consistent so we didn’t worry about it.

  The hotel advertised and airport shuttle that runs 24 hours. When I called when I landed, I was told that it was not running because the driver called off. He proceeded to tell me, whether I take a Lyft or an Uber, to show him the receipt when I got there. I did and he took off what my bill was for both nights to account for my ride there and back! I was very satisfied with this. The room was clean and comfortable so no complaints there. I did notice on the 3rd floor that it was very hot and humid coming off the elevator. Not sure if they didn’t have the air on in the hallway or it was broken. However my room was perfectly fine, the air did work in there just fine. I will say the water for the shower could be hotter, but it wasn’t bad. Still a nice relaxing shower.

  After a long day of travel and late arrival from a flight, the hotel staff was great ensuring we got to our room quickly. It was past 1am with three small children after 15 hours of air travel. The choices at the little market were great for starving children and breakfast was even better! Our room was clean and we actually wished we would have stayed another night there. We also used the gym the next morning and it was very clean and well kept. Lots of air circulating (unlike another hotel we stayed the next night). The price value is great and easy access with late night shuttle. I highly recommend.

  Airport shuttle was great, would be better if you knew you had to call, but they were there soon after I called. Flew in before check in time, but they let us in room early and was able to enjoy the pool. Grocery store across the street is convenient, though it's 6 lanes to cross. Beds were comfortable, and breakfast was typical hotel breakfast, but good. Only downfall was the shower could use a deep clean not a big deal.

  Our first contact with the Shuttle driver at the airport was very professional, his name was Linden and he was very knowledgeable about the area and answered all our questions as he drove with the utmost care. He was very polite and one could tell he enjoyed working for this company, we were very happy to have him as our driver! The reception staff was also very polite and professional! They accommodated our family's needs by putting our two rooms next to each other without hesitation. All the front desk staff was awesome and deserves high praises because they are surely an asset to the IHG brand! Big Ups to all staff at the State Rd location you do an excellent job and we appreciate it!

  We drove past the hotel three times because the entrance does not have anything with the name on it. There is a sign on the side but the hotel looks like an apartment building from the outside. Parking was $19 per night. Not too happy with that! The room was comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. We did have an issue with the room being assigned to another couple on our first night. Luckily we had the extra lock on the door so, even though their key worked, they couldn't get in. The front desk person called the room to ask if we were in the right room! Unbelievable!! The air-conditioning was great if you like the room cold. We had it set for 75 but still had to sleep under all of the covers. Breakfast was just okay. The cinnamon rolls were good and the pre-packaged muffins were as well. The selection was very limited however. A good snack to get you going but nowhere near a buffet. didn't use the pool or the gym but the pool looked nice. (It was outside the building). Overall it was a decent 2 night stay.

  Vous etes a la maison! Belles grandes chambres, personnel sympa, tarif attractif, belle localisation. Le lieu ideal pour passer un peu de temps. Bon petit dejeuner et doggy bag accepté. Je le referai sans hésiter!

  Terriblement cher pour une chambre. Le rapport qualité-prix n'est pas bon. Pour une nuit, nous avons payé près de 360$USD s'il vous plaît! L'hôtel était dans les standards des Holiday Inn donc je n'ai pas été déçu pour ce volet. Le prix par exemple... on repassera

  Je recommande cet hôtel agréable qui pourrait être une étape d'une nuit ou plus avec un personnel attentif.

  La navette aéroport est très pratique : elle nous a également ramené à la location de voitures le lendemain. Conseil si vous arrivez tard le soir comme nous, téléphonez à l'hôtel pour qu'ils viennent vous chercher et vous n'aurez pas beaucoup d'attente. Petit déjeuner à volonté sucré salé.
