  Éviter le week end ou vous dormirez au milieu d’un mariage! Hôtel traditionnel donc mal insonorisé et les portes ne protège en rien du bruit du patio central … en plus le mariage avec une sono à fond et mal réglée avec une chanteuse qui se prend pour une diva en criant dan sle micro …. On a du prendre une chambre pour cette nuit dans un hôtel intercontinental- le concurrent !! ! C est cher mais on a pu passer une soirée sans discothèque de village ! Dommage , le cadre est super mais à ce prix on espère de la considération autre que pour les clients du mariage qui ne dorment pour beaucoup même pas la !

  Les extérieurs sont magnifiques, le service est de première classe : très sympathique et ils font des recommandations. La seule chose que je n'ai pas aimée, ce sont les chambres qui sont un peu vieilles. Et s'il est loin du centre de San Jose mais il est très facile de s'y rendre.

  Déconseillé pour déjeuner. Nous voulions un bon buffet. Le buffet est tout petit, et de mauvaise qualité. Nois avons la habitude d aller à celui de l intercontinental. Franchement rien à voir. Salade? Laitue, tomate, mais, champignons … et rien de plus. Même pas avocat qui est la base ici. Pas de ceviche ou même jambon ou de fromage … Pâtes? Le spécial du jour était les pâtes .. 2 types de pâtes ( spaghetti ou courte), 2 types de sauce ( blanche ou tomate) et 4 ingrédients: oignon rouge, olive noir, épinard, chile dulce. Aucune protéine. Un peu de parmesan râpé. Pas d ail. Pas de pesto. Buffet? Pas de viande. Que du poisson et avec un goût très fort. Accompagnement ? Riz, légume, banane plantain, haricot rouge … très basic et cuisine de façon très basic. Dessert? Même pas goute tellement ça ne faisait pas envie. 3 petits gâteaux. Bref grande déception qu un hôtel de ce niveau soit aussi mauvais en restauration. Le serveur nous a dit au revoir car changement de tour à 13:30… en plein service. Étrange non l organisation ? Vraiment dommage car le cadre est sympa.

  Un hôtel très charmant à proximité de l'aéroport. Le service est vraiment très courtois à tous les niveaux et les restaurants et le lounge sont à recommander. De mon point de vue à San Jose le meilleur choix pour les clients Marriot.

  Belle hacienda transformée en hôtel, cosy et spacieuse. La piscine parfaite. Ne restez pas dans les chambres du premier étage face à la piscine. Ils ne sont pas isolés du bruit du hall, on ne peut pas bien se reposer à l'heure du coucher, on entend clairement les pas, les roues des valises et les voix des passants, cette partie est très inconfortable.

  I spent a week in this hotel and I have to admit it was very pleasant. The service was remarkable, the rooms were big enough and the views were incredible. It's green all over the place and there is everything you need for your business trip and or vacation.

  Excellent traitement et installations. A notre arrivée, on nous a proposé une chambre avec une meilleure vue sans frais.   we had the best time at the Marriott hacienda hotel. From the check in staff to all the staff within the restaurants, Gustavo and his team and the bar near the pool, Sandra and her team at the breakfast cafe, all the spa staff and everything in between was AMAZING. Our room was incredible, the view, it was Clean - 10/10 recommend.

  Had an amazing stay here this past weekend. The staff was amazing in setting up our COVID test which went off without a hitch. Further, the check-in process was perfect and I appreciated the room upgrade and amenities offered in the Executive Lounge. The restaurants on premises were great too. Thanks Fernando for being so awesome in getting us set up right!

  My stay at the hotel was very enjoyable and relaxing. The staff was great and went out of their way to ensure we were well taken care of. The morning breakfast was great and the omelets were fantastic. I would like to name a couple of people from Bar10 that made our nights enjoyable: Gustavo, Luis, Renato and Chef Roberto.

  We intended to stay one night when we first arrived in Costa Rica but loved the hotel so much that we made it our stopping point between trips and stayed two more times. Hotel and Mountain Views are beautiful. Staff in the club lounge are the best and made us feel at home! Carlos at the front desk was super helpful. And the hotel connected us to a great local driver, Cristian Hernandez, who took great care of us. We loved our stays and will be back!

  Excellent stay! Suited for both leisure and business. Wonderful views, and a good vibe throughout the place. Everyone is very welcoming and helpful. Wi-fi worked great for catching up with work and reports. Also, an easy access from the airport(via taxi) and for your bus pick up.

  This was one of my most enjoyable hotel experiences ever! The service at this hotel was incredible. My room was great and the amenities (dining, pool, gym, spa, cafe, etc.) were fantastic. I'd like to call out Caleb for the executive lounge, Alexander for the outside valet team, and Roberto at the front desk. Exceptional service. I will stay here again!! One recommendation I would make is if breakfast is free in the lounge allow us to do the same downstairs because the outside views are incredible!!!

  I told my son when we checked out “it doesn’t get any better than this”. From checking in to the hotel to the nice walks around the property, this was a perfect stay. Every staff member was friendly and appreciative. Amazing stay when our only complaint was the chirping birds at 5:00 am. Highly recommend this location and we got lucky!

  upon our arrival at the SJ airport my husband cut his head and it kept bleeding. when we arrived at the hotel and the staff in the restaurant saw what was happening they arranged for him to get medical care and kept the restaurant open so we could finish our dinner after the ambulance left. The staff was so helpful and courteous and kind. and the property is beautiful and convenient and the room was most comfortable

  My husband and I came here to escape the US Midwest winter cold, and the weather and service did not disappoint! We were able to use Marriott credit card points and free nights that had rolled over during Covid which made our week stay well worth it! The spa was fantastic (so good that we returned a second time for massages during our stay). There were 2 nice pools which we could reliably find seating by during the weekdays; it was a little more iffy on the weekends. The location close to the SJO airport made it very convenient. The biggest downside of this hotel is the food quality and variety is not great, especially when it comes to vegetarian options. Thankfully, there is a little plaza within walking distance that has a few good dinner options that made up for where the hotel could stand to improve on. Overall, a very lovely Marriott stay at the Hacienda Belen!

  great stay and easy to get to from airport. we stayed a night before we went on to Quepos, and then came back a week later for easier access to airport for an early flight to the States. Loved the cafe for coffee and snacks and restaurant was fine for dinner the first night. Room is big and cozy and pool area nice for reading a book. Would stay again if in the area.

  Hotel is large. Good bar and recreational facilities. The food is ok, my main plus I have to mention is the rental car rep in house. When you have to fly out the next morning and you don’t have to return the rental car in the morning, it makes a HUGE difference. I’ve stayed other places before my flight and I’ll never do that again. 100% this Marriott has it all. I would recommend

  This hotel is gorgeous, and such a lovely place to dine, relax, and take in the beauty of Costa Rica. I particularly encourage visitors to get an executive level room to experience the lounge. It is well worth it! Furthermore, YES! it is worth getting a room with a balcony! I spent so much time there simply enjoying the beauty. The service is among the best I've ever received as a frequent guest at Marriott hotels. Hamilton and Lina Marcela were the names whose service I remembered most outstandingly!

  Stayed 12 nights this time. This is my 3rd time in 9 months. Previously stayed twice for 2 weeks each time. I was given a better room (446) this time, The last two times 626 room was given to me where bathroom water used to seep on the floor and i spent a month there with water issues. The lounge experience was good this time as there was no lounge during the last 2 stays in 2021. Special thanks to Caleb, Veronica, Shirley, Roxana for their superb hospitality at the lounge. The staff is extraordinary polite and make the stay very pleasant all the time. I am a lifetime titanium elite guest and enjoy staying at Marriott

  The hotel grounds are a bit outdated (ie worn down signs, rusted materials), though very clean. The staff is some of the friendliest in the world! They were accommodating, though didn’t get any extra perks as a Bonvoy Elite. Spa experience was lovely- average price, nice space and very quality massage! Perhaps due to COVID they cut back on some amenities, but surprised they didn’t offer more toiletries in the spa area. Food was pretty good- normal hotel prices.

  Our stay at the Costa Rica Marriott Hotel Hacienda Belen was a very positive experience. We were able to check in online so our room was ready. We were greeted as soon as we arrived by helpful staff. We only speak English so were pleased that all the staff was able to communicate with us. Our room was comfortable and clean. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Both meals were excellent. The breakfast buffet was included with our room. So much good food choices served in a way that is healthy and fresh. There is a beautiful pool and coffee shop. In the morning we road the hotel shuttle to the airport. It was very convenient. The drive is only about 10 minutes. I highly recommend the hotel.

  El hotel es muy agradable, se mantiene bien, hermosos jardines. La piscina si muy fría para nuestro agrado. Para dormir sin ruido no es el hotel, las habitaciones son ruidosas. Huéspedes si no tienen cuidado de cerrar sus puertas, son puertazos escandalosos, desde las 5am habia personal y huéspedes saliendo hotel y los que no teníamos que levantarnos estábamos levantados por el ruido en los pasillos por conversaciones y puertas. Los alimentos ok. El desayuno bufet mejor que la cena.

  This is a nice location close to the airport without feeling close. The staff is friendly and professional. Rooms are clean. Breakfast buffet is ample and tasty. Any food we experienced after breakfast…lunch, dinner, snacks was disappointing to say the least. Short on flavor and slow service. I suspect Marriott can do better if they would only pay attention

  Stayed here my first day in Costa Rica and it was fantastic. The staff was wonderful, friendly and helpful. Shout out to Evelyn at the front desk and Gustavo at Hacienda Kitchen. It was the perfect introduction to the country and the hospitality could not be matched. I had a red eye and was able to check in early, which was so beyond needed/appreciated. It was my first hotel stay during since COVID and I felt completely safe and everything felt quite clean. Location was great since the next day we were planning on heading to other parts of the country, but if you want to experience San Jose proper this may not be the place. Although I will say we stayed in the city the last few nights of our trip and there were moments I wished I was actually at Hacienda Belen!

  The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The grounds and scenery look amazing. They have about 4 restaurants there as well as a gift shop. Nice pools and coffee farm. The rooms are a nice size and comfy. The staff is friendly. They forgot to deliver on my girlfriends birthday but said they forgot and were sorry. They always had someone outside to make sure you got your shuttle for any excursions and such to airport. They offer covid tests to be done onsite. It’s about $50 a person. Cheaper if you pay with card.

  Nuestra estadia fue muy acogedora. El personal amable, excelente. Hubieron varios asistentes del restaurante Kitchen que nos hicieron sentir como unicos en el restaurante a pesar de que estaba lleno. Carlos fue uno de ellos, Kuddos para el. La Srta Lina Marcela (camarera) hizo todo lo posible para coordinar cambiarnos de habitacion para una que conectaba a la habitacion de nuestra hija y su familia para asi poder estar junto a ella y asi poder ayudar y disfrutar a nuestras pequenas nietas de 10 meses y dos anos. Esa accion la agradecemos de todo corazon. Apreciamos mucho todo lo que hizo para que estuvieramos comodos. El Hotel Marrott Hacienda Belen tiene un personal con corazon, amable, profesional y ofrece un excelente servicio al cliente. EL hotel siempre estuvo impecablemente limpio. Se respiraba un aire de tranquilidad que invitaba a estar relajados y comodos a pesar de que estuvo lloviendo. Nuestra familia recomienda que visiten este hotel y disfruten de su paisaje, habitaciones, comidas y su maravilloso personal. Al generente/dueno del Marriott Hacienda Belen FELICIDADES por tener un personal de altura. Gracias por todo.

  Une facturation approximative, une propreté de la chambre à revoir à mon arrivée dans la salle de bain, le service notamment du petit déjeuner est totalement pas adapté, on mange gras et tous les jours la meme chose pas de variation...bref c est pas terrible

  Une vraie hacienda !! L'hotel est magnifique avec une vue superbe sur le volcan Poas. Service aimable et professionnel. Belle piscine. Près de la capitale San José (11 km) mais complètement au calme. Un excellent choix avant de reprendre son avion de retour ou dès l'arrivée pour recharger les batteries.

  Un très bel hôtel proche de l'aéroport (ce qui est un vrai plus pour San José) dans lequel nous aurions aimé trouver le calme mais avons subi la présence de nombreux séminaires avec des personnes peu respectueuses des clients présents. Nous aurions également apprécié une musique plus "latino" dans les bars plutôt qu'une musique "techno" beaucoup trop forte à notre goût

  Nous sommes passés juste avant de prendre un avion de retour en ce qui me concerne. Mon compagnon vit au Costa Rica depuis 10 ans. Dans l'ensemble nous avons été satisfaits des prestations, le personne est particulièrement souriant et prévenant. Les différentes prestations sont agréables. Dans l'ensemble nous sommes satisfaits.

  Hôtel très bien situé, la vue sur le golf du restaurant est magnifique. La propreté de l'hôtel est super. Le service impecable. La chambre est spacieuse avec un lit très confortable. Les repas sont variés et de très bon goût. Le eptit déjeuner buffet extraordinaire!

  apprécié l'accueil et les différents services, le lieu est très agréable bien qu'assez éloigné de la ville. Le service de navette vers l'aéroport devrait être assuré tout au long de la journée, ne pas s'arrêter entre 12 et 15 heures.
