The place was dog friendly, which was very important to me and my pooch. The staff was great and the room was perfect for our needs.

The good things were: Breakfast is good and room was quiet. Bad things were: Staff wasn't too welcoming or helpful in terms of us getting the blanket late at night. The sofa bed was also extremely dirty and unsightly (stains, yellow color); however, I could cover it with the white sheets from the closet.

We visited Las Cruces for a few days with our two dogs. Location is close to the freeway and the town. The room was spacious, did not smell like dogs, and was clean. Hot breakfast was ok, different options on different days we were there. The only bummer was the pool was not clean when we came. Other than that, our family had a relaxing stay. THANK YOU!

Room 329, at least, was badly in need of renovation. The refrigerator was so loud I had to unplug it. The thermostat was broken. The bed was one of those where, if one person turns over, the other one gets bounced around. The bathtub had a dripping faucet and there was filth behind the bathroom door. If you want to stay at a Marriott property in Las Cruces there are other, better choices.

My overall experience was really good. Due to Covid, you must let them know you need your room serviced. I was the only one in the room, so it stayed clean. I couldn't find a trash can in the hall to get rid of my trash. My room was nice, had 2 bedrooms for myself. Yes, I acted like Goldilocks. I did not eat the breakfast, I am not a big fan of watery eggs. Thankfully, they had sacks so you could grab a muffin, milk, water, fruit, and granola bars. I wish all hotels did that. Kudos to them. Like a lot of people, I smoke. It would have been nice to have a bench around on the side or back of the hotel to have a seat on. Yes, they a non-smoking Hotel, that is why you go outside. It was very quiet during the 4 days I stayed, which was nice. The only thing I would recommend the Hotel to do is to make sure someone is at the front desk all the time. I had to wait on several occasions to pay for stuff out of the snack shop. Yes, I would definitely stay there again.

The staff is exceptionally kind and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is OK. The hotel and all the rooms were clean and sanitized and I felt extremely safe during Covid. An excellent place to stay- I highly recommend!

Continental breakfast were wonderful. The room was a studio which made it very convenient and pleasant. Everything was nice & clean….

I would recommend double checking your reservation prior to arrival. We reserved a two-bedroom suite and when checking in were told it wasn't available and we had to be split between two rooms. That doesn't work well for a family with small kids.

Selected this TownPlace Suites for an overnight stay midway between CA and TX. The hotel is centrally located in Las Cruces with close proximity to the shopping district. The reception staff is friendly. The room is spacious with basic kitchen utensils and equipment, so perfect for either a one night or extended stay. The room is in good condition with comfortable beds, easy to get a good night of rest. The hotel also offers a complimentary buffet style breakfast. It is small but with enough varieties to get a quick energy boost and be on the way.

All of the staff at TownePlace was absolutely amazing, rooms were cleaned to exceed expectations, and management ensured our 7 week stay was as comfortable as could be!

If you need a rest stop place - Town Place Suites in Las Cruces is great! Convenient off the highway, near Sams Club gas to refill before heading out, and also a Starbucks to get yourself for a long drive ahead!!! Clean! Staff is very nice and helpful!

I stay at TPS in Las Cruces as a half way point between Phoenix and Midland, Texas. I get a good night sleep and finish the drive the next day. The staff is friendly and the rooms are always clean. It's just off the highway and while it's not far from places to eat.

JimH./ 5Le 11/28/2021 à 00:00
The hotel is old and outdated. Mattresses are old and worn out, showers are too short, they set trash lining the hallways because they are too lazy to clean, and the food options are gross.
-
Businessmeeting./ 5Le 11/22/2021 à 00:00
Ben at the front desk helped with an early checkin which I appreciated. My only recommendation would be to get FD staff using bonvoy chat app. I tried using it and no replies back for 2 days. Room was clean and would recommend this location.

We picked this hotel for a 10u softball tournament. Pool was advertised as open but when we arrived it was closed. When we inquired if it would be open we were told no. Needless to say our little ones were disappointed. The room was knicked and scratched everywhere. The bathtub drain was broken. Curtains had holes in them. Spent a lot of $ for poor quality.

From checking in to checking out everthing was amazing; just like pre pandemic. I have extra towels and pillows on my profile; first time in two years that they were in the room. Food was delicious. Customer service was excellent. We were upgraded to a suite; which was awesome! Vacation was excellent in Las Cruces!!!

Youtried./ 5Le 10/09/2021 à 00:00
Staff was friendly for NM. I asked for a couple things and they delivered maybe half, good enough. Room was decent but very outdated. The 30 pin iPhone charger on the alarm clock was a blast from the past. 32” tv, zero usb chargers too. All forgivable. The breakfast was enough to make me stay somewhere else next trip. It ends at 9, that doesn’t mean start cleaning up at 8:30. I felt rushed every day. Juice machine is on a timer? Why? Omg I better get my OJ by 8:55 so the machine doesn’t turn off. Please mark what is what, especially if you’re serving bean, beef, and chili burritos for breakfast. That was a surprise when I was expecting standard Marriott egg burritos. So many fails there. I ended up going out for breakfast way more times than I should have. Honestly the only thing keeping me from switching hotels was my laziness. I’ll only be back if everything else is booked.
-
Brian./ 5Le 10/08/2021 à 00:00
First time staying at this like of Marriott hotels. Overall the hotel was nice and clean. The only issue that we had was the bed being extremely hard, and the free breakfast left a lot to be desired frozen bean burritos. Used to having much nicer breakfast at Marriott hotels.

Stayed to have a full kitchen but moved out after two days. Not clean, dimly lit, staff unfriendly and unhelpful. Asked for a couple of breakfast items before they opened (cereal and milk) due to an early meeting and was told they couldn’t do that. Recommend avoiding.

This property is centrally located. Has great staff. All were smiling and seemed happy to be working. It is a clean hotel with all amenities needed right on site. They are a dog friendly hotel and have a nice surrounding area to walk your dog. We'll stay again and again this property.

This was an older hotel. I haven’t received the 500 amenity points even though I have received the hotel points. It just seemed to me there was very little effort given to making this a better hotel. I will continue with Marriott but will stay in other near by properties.

I marked never on how often my room was cleaned. It was every 7 days. Option not available. Very disappointed since the owner said the renovation was starting and the pool would be open in a week. The motel smellin the hallways and I will be finding another place to stay.

This property is dirty and run down and in my mind has taken the Marriott Brand down several notches. The carpets were filthy in the room and in the common areas. The bed was horrible. The refrigerator was scary. They need to overhaul this property and then keep up with the cleaning and maintenance.

I'm a Marriott Bonvoy Elite member and this was by far the most disappointing Marriott I've experienced. My room wasn't ready upon arrival. No thermostat in my room so I could not regulate the temperature. Given the very first room in the hallway, right next to the office and elevator - noise all the time. I will not make a reservation to stay here next time I'm in Las Cruces. Not offered complimentary points or anything from the pantry upon check in.....just not the quality I expect of a Marriott. THe manager phoned me later and offered me bonus points....but that was after I stayed in a very hot room. :(

Nice large room with large bathroom in single suite. Queen bed, not king. Air conditioning didn’t keep room cool. (Old unit) Dirty curtains and dirty bedroom door, stained upholstery. If they could update the a/c and furnishings this would be a great room! Staff was very nice.

The main reason I stay here is there is a full sized refrigerator and kitchen. Overall the place needs some maintenance. It's not terrible, but some of the issues are annoying. Lots of dogs here, so if you can't deal with dogs it's not for you.

Ana Took care of me and family when I was there for 3 weeks. Monica at the town place and Ashley and Bernice at the Fairfield know how to take care of titanium Elite and Ambassadors members. I've already logged in 110 nights so far (Im Tired lol) when I needed a water they got it or took care of my situations immediately and management decisions. Great Job ladies

The check in was easy. Parking was good. The room was average. Could use some TLC. The mattress was lumpy. The breakfast was above par for the usual complimentary Marriott breakfast. Easy to find. Everything considered, average.

Needed a hotel for one night and traveling with 2 dogs. The room was clean and ready when we arrived. The room had a full size frig, stove with oven, dishwasher and micro. We picked up frozen food and cooked it in the room since we didn't want to leave the dogs in our room alone. There were also real dishes and silverware to use. Breakfast wasn't anything out of the ordinary. The space of clean and well stocked. Will look for more Townplace Suites during our travels. (Wish they didn't charge $15/per dog per night!!)

This hotel is a little worn down. The restaurants listed as 0.0 miles near the hotel are not. Nothing is in safe walking distance. We had a good room on the 1st floor which was convenient for our pets. The pet area trash was overflowing and there was pet excrement all over the lawn. We stayed there bc we are loyal Marriott members, but would not stay there again. The staff, was very nice and helpful.

Stay was awesome. Hotel management and staff to include housekeeping were cordial, professional and accommodating. All of my needs were met without hesitation. Management went out of their way to make sure I had what I needed to make my stay very comfortable. No issues and will definitely stay again when I am in the area. Thanks all. Jim S.

Great location, plenty of parking, clean rooms, comfortable beds. Quiet at night.. Breakfast is standard Towneplace offerings, but always fresh and warm. We stay here often when we travel to Las Cruces. Maintenance seems to continue to suffer over the past years. For the 3rd time in 4 visits, the hot tub did not work properly. Staff is always friendly.

KE505./ 5Le 05/07/2019 à 00:00
Pros: clean, had my reservation correct and ready for check-in, internet worked well Cons: for my room there was a mysterious and loud mechanical sound throughout the night that caused me to not sleep at all, and getting a good night sleep is always my main reason for staying at a Marriott hotel. I had also requested a late check-out but my keys expired twice. The first time I tried to get new keys, I could not find the front desk attendant as there was a sign that said “busy assisting other customers”. As I was trying to get to an important family event, I think the panic look on my face was seen by one of the kitchen staff and she went in the back to get the front desk attendant for me. The re-keyed keys still didn’t work and i had to go back down (find the attendant again) and get new keys. Unfortunately about 15 minutes was wasted that were crucial to my important family day events. Overall - I am a loyal Marriott member and this stay was not up to the standard I Have experienced. I felt that this stay was not worth the points used on it; I would have rather paid for a night at another location. I have stayed at other TownPlace Suites and have had an excellent experience, which was the reason why I chose to stay at this location in Las Cruces (my first, and likely last time staying there).
-
bobw./ 5Le 04/30/2019 à 00:00
Great location, nice room layout, good full size kitchen in room. Plenty of parking. Excellent shower. I've been staying at this location for over 8 years, and maintenance has seemed to suffer lately. Pool area hot tub was broken, this was the second time in the last 3 visits this happened. Room A/C wasn't working, we changed rooms, the new room was O.K., but A/C very noisy.
-
Andrew./ 5Le 04/09/2019 à 00:00
The good: This hotel had a great front desk associate who was very helpful and lovely. The hotel was clean. The bad: Way, way overpriced with an uncomfortable bed in a room crowded with unnecessary furniture. Overall: It did the job but not for the price. If you're charging over 150 dollars a night, my stay had better be near perfect and that was definitely not the case here. This hotel should have cost half of what it did.

Our stay was fair at best due to the thin walls and windows. We heard all noises in both rooms on either side of us as well as in the hall way. Staff was great but rooms, especially plumbing repair patches in the bathroom were not appealing at all.
-
bobw./ 5Le 09/29/2018 à 00:00
Overall nice hotel and good location. Front desk lady very friendly. Beware of room selections. They are converting some small king rooms into double queens, that are not as nice as the normal double queen. The smaller rooms only have one nightstand, no table and chairs, and is much smaller. Pool area also stinks because of the smell of then laundry dryer vents next to it. It gave me a headache. Also there were no pool towels at all during my 3 day trip

I was very satisfied with my stay at TownePlace. It had more then what I needed, a kitchen. Since this was a business trip I did no t do any cooking, but for a family I would highly recommend it. The rooms a clean and the staff is very friendly. Lots of storage space, if you are traveling with kids. Also, I enjoyed having breakfast.

I will make this Review very short. From reservations to Check-out I will give TP Suites an excellent rating. Staff is polite and very helpful. The rooms are clean. Breakfast is great and wait staff is ready to please. The "breakfast Area" was great as a community room for our family reunion. Thank you!!

The staff was very friendly and helpful in making the reservation, making arrangements for our requested amenities, and giving the royal treatment to every member of our family (including the dog). We felt welcomed and appreciated by the management and staff, our room was nice and clean, and the location provides easy access to everything we came to Las Cruces for. Two thumbs up!

I've stayed at this hotel several times, and it is now my go-to place whenever I visit Las Cruces. It is conveniently located close to the interstate, an easy drive to the University, White Sands or anywhere else in the city. It is also close to restaurants, shopping, movie theaters, etc. It is quiet, clean and affordable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The amenities make it easy for business and family travelers alike, with free+fast internet, breakfast, kitchenettes, free newspapers, laundry machines onsite, etc. One thing I discovered about its location on my latest visit, is that is it next to an walking/running path that extends many scenic miles in each direction. A great way to stay active while on the road, and take in some views of the beautiful desert mountains.

The rooms are spacious with good quality bedding and towels and a very comfortable bed, the addition of a kitchen with utensils is very useful. the hotel is in a good location close to restuarants and shopping and museums. We enjoyed the outsideseating area and using the grill, a vey relaxing place to stay.

This hotel is conveniently located at the northeast end of town, near I-25 and US 70, but in a quiet corner by the dam. The pool and hot tub are clean and well kept. The grill area is well equipped, and there is a large covered porch area if you want to be out of the sun. The rooms are everything one hopes for, including comfy beds and a well equipped kitchen. But the factor that shines above the rest is the staff. Every single person we dealt with was very helpful and pleasant. We'll be back!

Clean, efficient hotel. Rooms are nice. Larger rooms have a nice dining table and chairs for eating lunch. Staff was friendly. Typical Townplace breakfast (fried egg, sausage). Wish they would add fresh fruit and maybe scrambled eggs and bacon. Rooms quiet despite being near busy roads. Good location to I-25 and major attractions. A/C worked well, and hotel seemed well maintained. Pool area was very nice except for the smell/noise of the hotel laundry vents right next to the pool. Uggh!

eplz./ 5Le 02/22/2017 à 00:00
Our stay was pretty good--an extended business trip. Beds aren't particularly comfortable, rooms are fairly clean but dark. Breakfast is limited (fried egg and sausage as hot option every single morning) and often cleaned up before the end of the posted breakfast hours, no dinner events or gatherings. But the dining area was clean, and had a few game and DVD options. Laundry room has some problems, pool was clean, workout room was small but suited its purpose. The outdoor grill/fireplace area is the best feature of the hotel, and the area is good for biking/hiking/walking, but Las Cruces doesn't have many great food, coffee, or sightseeing opportunities--there are cool sights within driving distance for day trips, and a few good local restaurants are Caliche's (custard and hot dogs), Chala's Wood Fire Grill (get The Cuban), Burger Nook (hole in the wall, good green chile burger), and The Shed (everything on the menu is great). The staff was really great, always nice and accommodating, housekeeping was nice. Loved having a full fridge, small oven and electric stovetop, and DVD player in the room. Overall, it suited us as our temporary "apartment" and was one of the better budget options out of all the hotels we've stayed at for business.

Well this was not a residence inn, it supplied most everything that I would have expected. It is nice to get the residence Inn welcome dinners three nights a week. And also the times I have spent there they have been very good about knowing who I am and greeting me by name each time I entered. Also they bring mail to my room. These are the things that the local Marriott could add for someone who is there for six weeks. I didn't that was very happy with my room and especially the rate.

I always stay here anytime that I come to Las Cruces (4x a year). The place is clean and area is excellent..most importantly they are super pet friendly. I bring my 2 labs with me when I come. There is plenty of area to walk then and the rooms are very clean. You can't tell that the person in the room before you had pets. Love this place!

TownPlace Suites was a great place for those who want to get out and enjoy the outdoors. With in room coffee and an early breakfast you can hit the trails before the heat. The hotel offers your dog biscuits at the front desk and a warm welcome. Nice to find a hotel that doesn't charge an outlandish rate for pets!

We stayed for five nights as part of a Road Trip. The hotel was in a convienent location for shopping and dining out. Check in was smooth and we were allocated a suite on the second floor, the suite was sparkling clean, the furnishings and decor were modern making the suite bright, it was very well equipped and the bed was very comfortable the AC was quiet and effective. The hotel has a lovely outside area with comfortable seating and a grill which we used several times. The pool was clean with plenty of pool towels available. All the members of staff we met were polite and helpful and a pleasure to speak with. The hotel provides a breakfast with a good choice of items. We had a pleasant stay and would not hesitate to stay here on future trips.

This hotel was clean, in a great location, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was perfect to house our family of four while contractors worked on our local home for week making it uninhabitable. The 2 bedroom suite with a sofa bed gave everyone their own bed and privacy. The kitchen area was great for us to bring meals from home and eat in the dining area. The bathroom had two separate doors with locks, one for the shower/toilet area, one for the sink area, which allowed the whole family to share. The free breakfast was a good selection of the normal continental fair. Coffee tasty! The pool/spa area was really nice. The pool was heated so the water was the perfect temperature to cool off and lounge while letting the kids played. Nextdoor to that area was a quaint little BBQ eating area with lounge couches & chairs. They also had a small fitness room off the lobby that had a few machines and yoga balls. Didn't use the BBQ area or fitness room but they looked to be very nice. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to visit our wonderful city of Las Cruces!

Had never been to a TownePlace Suites before and wasn't sure what to expect. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and very spacious. Enjoyed having the kitchen right there to be able to cook up a meal instead of having to go out to eat saving ourselves a little bit of money. The only problem we had there was no room for us to park luckily a car was leaving just as we pulled up.

Great hotel located in a quiet cul de sac close to nearby shopping and restaurants. The rooms are large and the kitchenettes are great for a quick meal or a break from eating out. They have a nice BBQ and fire pit setup outside which is well lit and comfortable. If you are looking for a home away from home, this is a great spot.

Tried to say as much as I could in the title, but the staff are always very friendly, there's always complimentary fruit available to snag a piece if you come home early before meal time, the rooms are *clean* and will accomodate a long stay with a full kitchen. Beds are comfortable and Wireless Internet coverage has been adequate in every room I've stayed. I utilize this hotel at least quarterly so I'm a frequent guest and wont stay anywhere else!

Clean hotel, well situated for business or pleasure. Positives: Great staff, fitness center 24 hours, year-round outside pool and hot tub. Wonderful place to run (bike path access and gravel road on top of Levy). Upgraded laundry room and outside sitting area. Pizzera UNO in parking lot. Easy access to NMSU without getting on freeway. Negatives: Breakfast is skimpy (Towneplace style), nightlights in bathroom are very bright and shine on some beds, mosquitoes outside in seating area (odd for a desert setting). I have stayed in all the Marriott properties in the area and this is the best....hands down! (They have actually let me use their facilities when I have made the mistake and stayed at the Fairfield Inn right down the street. I think my wife and I have almost 10 stays at this hotel and have never been disappointed.)

The room and suite amenities (refrigerator, freezer, stove, microwave, coffeemaker, lots of closet space, etc) were exceptional. It's so nice to have those amenities when you are traveling with a family. The kids LOVED the pool and I liked knowing that it wasn't too deep (only 4/12 ft) so that I could enjoy my book while they swam.

My wife and I were traveling from Austin to Los Angeles with our 2 year old grandson and our two small dogs. We stayed at the TownePlace Suites and were very happy with the hotel location, services, and staff. After a long day driving you are looking for a clean, affordable, and no hassle place to stop and rest. We had all of this at this hotel. The location has a couple of food options within walking distance that make it even better. We chose to eat the the local pizza/beer place across the street from Sams Club. It was very good and and easy walk. We highly recommend this place. They have a pool and spa for relaxing as well. Great breakfast and quiet from road noise.

The cleaning service was horrible. The only thing that was done daily was someone made my bed and emptied the trash cans. There were some bugs in the bathtub every day and night. The carpet throughout the hotel, particularly in the elevator and the front door area was nasty beyond words. The carpet in the elevator was never vacuumed during my week stay. Every day it got filthier and filthier. The front entrance was never vacuumed or swept. The door opened to the outside and needed constant cleaning just to make a good impression. I will never stay at this facility again. I was sorely disappointed in this Marriott property.

We had a great stay at the Las Cruces Towneplace. We arrived late, after midnight, but the room was ready for us as we had called ahead and the friendly staff dude greeted us. Nothing better than two nice queen beds for the family after a long drive. Complimentary breakfast was simple but above average. Fresh diy waffles (buttermilk, and strawberry), packaged muffins, jimmy dean egg sandwiches, hot coffee, juices, cereals, breads, yogurts, apples, bananas. All good stuff, replenished quickly by smiling staff. Back to the room, we had a very useful little kitchen, with sink, tableware, mid-size refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. An LCD tv is next to two armchairs, plus still room for a kitchen table. Bathroom was a tad small, but still very good. All parts of the room and hotel were very clean. The breakfast room also has a friendly shelf with books, board games, and dvd's. After seeing the dvd's, we found out our room had a dvd player just below the LCD. We had been at a softball tournament all day, so relaxing with a dvd movie was just right. Las Cruces, at least the part near the hotel, is very neat and orderly, nice highway, easy drive to the nearby mall and restaurants. We only stayed two days, but we thoroughly enjoyed the Las Cruces Towneplace.

The room was updated and very clean. It even smelled clean. We used the pullout sofa (which are usually a little worn out and dirty), it was clean and comfortable. The room was spacious for a studio and had plenty of closet space. The location was close to I-25, so getting around was easy. I would definitely stay here again.

I have stayed here several times in the past and I have always been satisfied overall. There could be small improvements made to the breakfast selection (there was no meat served on one of the mornings). The maintenance program of any hotel can usually use some criticism. In this case small details such as damaged caulking and water damage around the tub are big details to guests as the condition of a bathroom can make a substantial difference regarding the guests opinion of the hotel.
