  We spent 5 nights at Mystique as part of our Honeymoon trip. We were really looking forward to this stay. I had saved up over 10 years of Marriott points for this day, and with my Marriott status I also thought we would receive a superior experience. The property itself delivered, the location is excellent, the hotel has breathtaking views, and the staff was very friendly. We did used the pool frequently where we ordered drinks, and we did dine at the hotel restaurant which we really enjoyed the experience. The food was good, but portions for some dishes were extremely small. Smaller than usual for fine dining. However, the hotel really lacked at personalizing the experience and making us feel like we were on our honeymoon. Breakfast was not included, even at such a high nightly rate. We didn't receive any personalized touches or honeymoon welcome from the property. We also didn't receive any complementary upgrade, even though that is typically offered for a Gold member. All in all, we had a great time, but we felt like for a luxury hotel we really expected more from them to make such an important occasion feel special. Lastly, although the property is wonderful, one thing to note is that there is no privacy, you have guests walking by right in front of your balcony/patio area.

  The room is clean and comfortable, but no sunset view. The service of the staff is perfect. They helped transfer my luggage to my next hotel near by. But in this hotel it makes no difference whether you are a bonvoy member or not. I’m a gold member, I still have to pay 100 euro to upgrade the room and the late checkout is not allowed.

  From start to finish it was a great experience at Mystique. From the valet lugging luggage up and down to Jerry at reception and Rafael, we felt valued and extremely well taken care of. A special thanks to Dorota who looked after us at breakfast she was an amazing ambassador of customer service. We lov ed everything about our stay can't wait to return.

  even prior to checking in we knew this was going to be an amazing stay. The staff at Mystique is top notch and every detail of our experience here was beyond what we could have imagined. The hotel concierges went above and beyond to help us with dining reservations, which was very important as it’s hard to make reservations at some of the top restaurants in Oia & Fira specifically. My fiancé and I would certainly be staying at this hotel again if we are back in Oia. I would have liked to be taken care of a bit more as a titanium elite member - similar to how other hotels accommodate that status level. I did not feel, at all, that the staff put any extra emphasis or effort into making us feel taken care of because of status. I think we received the same level of accommodation of any hotel guest.

  When it comes to hotels on Santorini, Mystique is the place to be. The views are incredible, the staff is attentive, friendly, and helpful, and the rooms are clean and cultured. The location is close enough to walk to Oia, with some of the best views in Santorini. All around a great hotel, and the only one I'll be recommending to friends and family in the future!

  If you’ve ever dreamed of the perfect Santorini holiday, book it at Mystique. The location is magical and rooms and staff are top notch. Beware if you have knee or foot issues there are A LOT of stairs. If you can handle the stairs, however, that is part of the charm of the property. Perfect for couples and close to the action in Oia.

  Zero loyalty perks, way overpriced, no sunset view, too far to walk anywhere, broken air con dripping all over the floor, shower head only 5’8”, pool chairs really close together and awkward, I mean honestly the list could really go on. Excellent chef at the restaurant though!

  The Mystique is the most unique property I have ever stayed in. We all imagine Santorini to be romantic, however, the feelings we had cannot be described with words. Beautiful architecture and design, special care for details, pampering service, unforgettable views which make you want to stay there forever. The hotel is so nicely spread over the caldera, offering bars and restaurants, terraces with different angels of the crafts of nature and talented humans. It is very hard to say which view is more inspiring for daydreaming. Very hedonistic, very quiet, very fulfilling. Exquisite cuisine with truly attentive service. It felt like our guests have been anticipated. We were considering enjoying the breakfast on our balcony instead of going for breakfast, but we were so happy we did not.   The hotel is absolutely beautiful and located perfectly in Santorini. Staff was friendly and clearly works hard to keep the premises pristine. If you have a boats load of money and don't care spending 9 euros for a glass of orange juice, then you will be just fine. I am a Titanium elite Marriott member and was promised an early check in and late checkout as titanium members earned, and this was not given. Even with an extreme notice and confirmation from staff before I arrived. Overall, the place is beautiful. I just did not feel appreciated as a member and will not be staying there again.

  The Mystique Hotel is located in Oia, which is about 20min from the port. this is an excellent location, walking distance to many great restaurants and shops. located on the cliff, the views of the Caldera are spectacular from anywhere on the property. The office staff are very knowledgeable and will offer great tips on how to make your stay as memorable as possible. would definitely recommend this property to anyone wishing to visit Santorini.

  From the minute my wife and I arrived at the hotel, Rafail in the lobby treated us beyond amazing and made us feel like royalty. Our room had flowers and cake waiting for us. At the restaurant the servers Komstantina and Era make sure we were always taken care of and spoiled us! They always knew what we wanted. The views from our room were truly the best !

  Our experience at Mystique was truly the most satisfying vacation experience we've had in quite some time. All of the staff were extremely friendly and eager to make sure we had a wonderful time. Our check-in was quick, efficient and very informative. After a very short time in the registration process, we were led to our luxurious villa. We were amazed at the view and excited for the days ahead. We were torn between the quiet serenity of our accommodations and the opportunity to explore the beautiful qualities Santorini offered. Luckily, we could enjoy both. We began our day with Breakfast in the charming Charisma restaurant where we were treated like royalty. The food was always delicious and the staff warm and solicitous. We were pleasantly surprised with the constant treats offered to us in our villa and the clean, inviting environment. I don't think that we could have had a more marvelous experience than the one offered by Mystique.

  Mystique was above and beyond what we expected. This place is heave on earth. The most beautiful view I have ever seen. We travel a lot and Santorini was hands down our favorite destination so far. The room was gorgeous, the staff was amazing and friendly. You felt like you were at this resort by yourself it was so peaceful and relaxing. We loved it so much we are coming back next year and going to visit a couple more Greek Island. This place is Luxury and so gorgeous.

  Great place to stay if not the best in in Santorini but we had the best room there called the Mystery villa with the private heated pool which was the best. Expensive place to stay but worth every door if you can afford it and don't mind the many steps you need to climb every time. Just a mention about a particular staff member called Alexandra who is certainly a large asset for this hotel and hope to visit again soon. One thing I have to complain about and that is that being in Greece, you would think you would hear a little Greek music sometimes but there was none!!!!

  Mystique is a resort unlike any other, so be sure it meets your needs. You walk DOWN many narrow stairs (no hand rails) to get to your room, back up to visit the island. This is a place to settle in & enjoy the resort, not a springboard to leave multiple times a day unless you are in excellent shape & relish a daily workout. The rooms are smaller than most suites (built into a cliff so think luxurious cave) but well-appointed & really feel like Greece- simple, white, drawing your eye to the balcony & the beyond fantastic view of the caldera. The light & clouds are different each day, so enjoy coffee there for sunrise, a glass of wine in the evening. If you are a platinum member, book early (as soon as they open the schedule & try to go off season for the best room-like early June). So, yes, as other reviewers point out, there are "downsides" to this property, including the expense in points or euros, but the "ups" are amazing! The caldera view from the balcony, pool or restaurant is truly breathtaking. The service- concierge both before we arrived & while there, room service, amenities, transport to & from the airport or ferry are all excellent. The food was delicious & can be a great introduction to Greek cuisine. Breakfast on the terrace was wonderful, but don't just get your usual omelette, try the Greek breakfast menu & ask Kostas to help you choose. He is knowledgeable about the selection & passionate about the cuisine & wine. Put yourself in his hands for any meal & you will have a culinary adventure that enriches your experience & satisfies your palate. Book a table in the wine cave with Alexandra to sample the marvelous Santorini wines, another great experience & fun because she is so delightful & knowledgeable. I can't say enough about Kostas, Alexandra & Sakis but know they are great ambassadors for their beautiful country & show this resort & its dining options to best advantage. So, you can book tours of the island, take boat trips,explore other restaurants in Oia & the concierge will help with all of that. But take some time to just enjoy the resort, sip drinks by the pool, dine on the terrace or privately on your balcony, learn about the wines & cuisine- these are the experiences that make this property unique & truly a luxury collection gem.

  When looking to book this hotel, my girlfriend and I thought we knew what to expect. An immaculate room, top quality amenities, and some of the best views on the island. What we did not expect was that the staff would far surpass anything the hotel had to offer. Both of us have traveled quite extensively (both for work and pleasure) and the staff here far exceeded anything we had ever experienced before. The service, attentiveness, and attention to detail of the staff (all done with a smile), is something we will not soon forget.

  The Mystique is a beautiful hotel. The looks of the place are incredible and picturesque...all white buildings overlooking the Agean Sea, with its gorgeous blue-green colors that will cause you to stare and believe you are looking at a slice of heaven. The staff is extremely professional and courteous. The Mystique also offers a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport. This is great because the local cabs are known to take advantage of tourists and their "pocketbook". Santorini is a great place to vacation. You can relax in the sun, visit a winery or take a boat around the volcanic islands. You cannot go wrong here. But, and this is a BIG BUT, because the hotel is built into the mountain, there are stairs everywhere. We had to walk 105 stairs to get to the street to get into the town. Don't get me wrong! This place is MAGNIFICENT, but the stairs got very old, very fast. It became tedious and a chore. So, with all that said, if you are in pretty good shape, do not require any "handicapped facilities", and are looking for some "extra" exercise, them you MUST visit The Mystique. It is breath-taking.

Location is superb, near Oia high end shops but not in the middle of it. No sunset view from hotel but just a short walk to enjoy the view.

  The Mystique is a quiet little gem amongst the bustle of Oia town. Everything about the resort is amazing - when you are there, you will think you are the only hotel on the entire island of Santorini. The staff were amazing, helpful, and prompt. Not one negative comment! Everyone we met from the moment we arrived until we left was perfect. We were able to jump on an earlier flight in Athens and emailed the hotel from the Athens airport and they adjusted our pick up and had a van waiting for us three hours earlier than planned. The only downside was that the trip was too short. I can't wait to go back!

  We travelled to Oia after staying at the Starwood property in Mykonos. Both are very spectacular in their own ways. Mystique is a breathtaking property, the views are spectacular and the facilities are magnificent. However, it is a vertical hotel, with many steps. It was not a problem for us, but some of the guests struggled with the steps. Our room was awesome, a cave, with a sitting room and separate bedroom and a private balcony. The bathroom was adequate but on the small side and our shower leaked, a minor inconvenience. The staff is what makes these resorts so memorable, they provide great customer service and are very friendly. We ate at both restaurants and the food was outstanding. Breakfast by the pool was incredible, the perfect food and the views of the Caldera. We were celebrating our anniversary and we were thrilled with the Mystique, it is romantic and such an unique property. Oia is a beautiful city, streets made of marble. We took a sunset sailing tour that was great. One of the highlights of the trip was a wine tour and cooking class with SAFOWI, Santorini Wine and Food Tours. It was very educational and fun. We also did the cliff walk from Thira to Oia, which was challenging but incredible. If you want luxury in an unparalleled location, you can't miss with Mystique.

  Hanging over the caldera, the views are unforgettable. What makes this hotel excellent though is the hard work at maintenance and training the staff receives which is evident throughout. The many different fresh juices made to order at breakfast to the sushi at ASEA in the evening- all is top notch. The Hotel is an oasis unto itself- away from the maddening crowd of Oia and Fira. The only reason we did not give 5 stars in all categories is because the rooms are essentially caves faced directly at the bright sun each morning. They are meticulously cleaned, the wifi works even at our long distance from the lobby and there are often welcome surprises in our room when we return to it in the late afternoon, such as champagne, bouquets of flowers, fresh fruit and decadent desserts. A hotel and trip we will always remember with smiles. Don't bring high heels and be prepared to walk daily up and down a lot of steep, uneven steps. It is a UNESCO site and well worth the effort to experience.

  My fiance and I loved our stay at 5-night Mystique - it's a beautiful hotel with an amazing staff. They've thought of everything here, and their level of attention to detail shows. Do take advantage of the well-connected concierge staff - they were incredibly helpful with restaurant reservations and recommendations, along with coordinating activities on the island. We did a semi-private sunset cruise on a catamaran (along with a swim to the hot springs by the volcano), what ended up being a private wine tasting and cooking experience, and an ATV rental for the day, all at the recommendation of the concierge, and we loved each. Rooms are spacious and well appointed (with an incredible Caldera view), and as Starwood Gold members, we were graciously granted a significant upgrade. Breakfast at the property is also luxe - would highly recommend the scrambled egg & tomato dish, the yoghurt, and the sweet pancakes all from the Greek Breakfast menu. Loved every minute of our vacation at Mystique, and we can't wait to go back.

  We stayed at the hotel for 4 night over Easter 2014. The hotel contacted us before to confirm the pick- up from airport and asked about newspaper wishes etc, which I found very good. Arriving at JTR airport we ( together with 5 others) were picked up with an old mini- bus and transferred to the hotel. Upon arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff and shown to our upgrade room. Room was nice, but lighting did not work, but was fixed rather quick. Bed was comfy and breakfast first class. Service in restaurant were we also had dinner one night was perfect. The website says that you have coffee/tea making facilities in the room which wasn't the case, so we inquired. We were told that we could order from room service instead, which we did and found out that we actually were charged, but the charge was taken off after a short explanation. Room itself is - like many in Santorini - in a cave, which makes it very special, but also very dark. You have a private terrace, but hardly any privacy as the walkways are outside the rooms and hence people always walk by your terrace, windows.

  Mystique is one of the most beautiful, romantic, indigenous hotels I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. Not only is the location spectacular, but the quality of service, food and amentities is second-to-none, and the rooms are like luxury caves built out of a cliff. The concierge staff is also exceptional. With just 19 rooms, the staff is clearly committed to providing best-in-class service and we literally felt like we were family by the end of our visit. One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had, and easily the most romantic!

  Das Mystique auf Santorini ist ein Luxury Collection Hotel und punktet mit sehr gutem Service, individuellenZimmern und einer wunderbaren Lage. Der Service ist hervorragend - die Preise sind es auch. Das Hotel hat im typischen Stil Zimmer, die quasi in den Berg hineingebaut sind und die sehr minimalistisch eingerichtet sind - ob das jedermanns Geschmack ist, ist vorher zu prüfen. Die Zimmer sind nicht zu klein und bieten z.T. spannende Whirlpools, deren befüllen allerdings gut eine Stunde dauern kann. Sauberkeit ist ohne Frage bestens, auch das Bett ist Starwood-üblich hervorragend (ebenso Handtücher etc). Fitness Center gibt es keines, es gibt stattdessen Zimmer, in denen welche stehen sollen. Ein kleiner Pool und ein kleines Restaurant mit knackigen bis exorbitanten Preisen vervollständigt das Angebot. Strand gibt es hier keinen (Steilküste), der Weg zum wunderschönen Black Beach oder Red Beach ist ca. 35 Minuten mit dem Auto - einen Autovermieter gibt es quasi gegenüber des Hotels. Ein echtes Highlight ist das á-la-carte Frühstück, welches eine traumhafte Auswahl in hervorragender Qualität beinhaltet - achten Sie darauf, dass es in Ihrer Zimmerrate enthalten ist. Große Privatsphäre sollten Sie nicht erwarten - aufgrund des begrenzten Areals, auf dem das Hotel gebaut ist, geht immer mal jemand an Ihrem Zimmer, Ihrer Terrasse vorbei und das hört man natürlich auch. SPG Benefits: übersichtlich bis keine, da es ein All-Suites Hotel ist. Fußläufig kommen Sie ins schöne Oia, in dem Shops, Restaurants und Bars sich abwechseln. Die Preise des Hotels sind knackig, der Service excellent und das Essen gut, aber teuer. Ob man nun für durchaus sportliche Preise ausgerechnet hier sein muß, sollte man sich gründlich überlegen, auch, ob die minimalistischen Zimmer Ihrem Geschmack entsprechen. Und wenn Sie ohne Strand leben können, dann werden Sie hier entspannte Tage mit tollen Aussichten verleben.

  Mystique is stunning. Everything about my stay was perfect; I was picked up at the airport and driven to the hotel, a chilled glass of sparkling wine was waiting for me at reception and I was given a tour of the property. My room was amazing, with a beautiful view. I particularly enjoyed an evening tasting of local wines in the "cave". The staff are spectacular and catered to my every need and made sure my stay was perfect. There is literally nothing that I could fault about this hotel, I was sad to leave and I can't wait to return.
