Positive: Close to airport- beautiful rooms Negative: Your website said 24 shuttle service to airport and that was not accurate- The shuttle starts at 4:00 am so I still had to take my cousin to the airport at 3:30 as her flight was at 5:05 am - That was disappointing - Hotel restaurant was closed

Positive: My expectation thinking that all Marriott Bonvoy was nice, clean and friendly but this one is overprice with non of that. Negative: During my duration of my stay, I did not get any clean towels, room wasn't clean or bed wasn't made. I don't understand why I will have to pay for parking either.

Positive: The shower head was nice Negative: The check in lady was rude. $8 for parking. Bed very uncomfortable. Huge lights on side of building shining in window. Desk chair broken. Time wrong on digital alarm clock in room. Welcome message on TV had wrong name.

Let's see apparently I paid for parking and could not get parking on my second night of stay. The parking lot was full. The host gave an attitude and then tells me try parking later. I guess now you have to request your room to be cleaned vs the traditional method of not putting the do not disturbed sign on door. If that is new then the host should be asking the question "Would you like your room to be cleaned" Went downstairs for breakfast and there were no plates so I left to get breakfast at another place.

We live out of town and booked this hotel as a convenient place to stay before an early flight. What a mistake we had to be up at 430 am and did not get any sleep. The hotel had an event booked. They partied all night. We were also charged for parking and there were no spots because the people attending the event occupied all the spaces. At 2 am I had to ask people to get out from the front of our door because they were partying in the halls. It was a terrible experience

Nice place. Quiet, not many, if any kids staying, no street noise. Breakfast not included, but you can purchase the buffet, which is like every other chain hotel's for free, for about $14/person. Other restaurants not within walking distance. I had to wait over 10 min to check out because cleaning staff only people in lobby.

I attended an event held in one of their on-site conference buildings. The property is nicely maintained, and the dining options were appreciated! The room was spacious and bed was so comfortable!

The hotel is a good launching place for departing Sacramento Airport, but there aren't many other good reasons to stay there. The room was tired, the staff exhausted and the room coffee was undrinkable. The food brought in for the meeting reminded me of the old jokes about banquet rubber chicken. Either the general manager has been absent for months, or the hotel doesn't have one. I expect a bit more from Marriott chain. Please don't destroy the venerable Sheraton brand.

Property was well maintained. However, room was poorly lit for using desk for work. Room did not offer a full length mirror to check appearance prior to business meeting. Breakfast signs modified for COVID indicated offering of made to order meal, however was a buffet that was poorly stocked, no fruit options and coffee was not replaced when urn empty for over 30 minutes.

Positive: Hotel is located in a very convenient area, close to highways. Free parking, free Wi-Fi, and free shuttle to the airport. Negative: A few things¿ room not cleaned once while we were there. Weird rule about informing the front desk that you¿re taking the shuttle :-/ Shuttle driver was really rude and didn¿t help with bags or open the door for us.

Positive: Location included stores and gas stations Negative: This place has bedbugs that bit me on my face, back and chest. I actually found one crawling in the bathroom. The staff is overwhelmed and lack the capacity to handle the stress of a fully booked hotel. They need customer service and operational training

Reservation was for two beds as I reserved the room for my business partners, upon arrival they were told only one bed rooms available so now my business partners had to share a bed and were kept up all night by crazy guests. This place seemed better but apparently looks are deceiving.

Positive: The room AC was almost unnoticeable but it worked great. Normally you would wake up every half hour and wonder what the roaring sound was and realize it was the AC coming on again. Not this time my hat is off to whoever accomplished this miracle of tech. Negative: It was a little misleading about the breakfast was it hosted or did it cost? In the elevator it said $13.00 for the buffet but in the lobby no indication of cost.

The $12.75 breakfast was serviced cold and only available to pick up and go. Staff made no effort to resolve the issue. The Suite we stayed in had a stained/souled mattress, several items of paper and other items were to foubd on the floor upon entering room. No maid service unless requested to day in advance but staff failed to provide this until maid service was requested. Hallways often had room waste cans over flowing present. General conditions of hotel was well below what is expected of Four Points/Marriott standards. Hotel staff didn't know or greet Rewards Members. Management never returned request to speak with someone. I had stayed prior at this Four Points, over a year ago, and stay was at Four Points standards. This stay was a total failure on Hotel staff to maintain standards.

Front desk young female staff are undereducated on customer service along with attention to detail. I called around 2pm and ask if I could arrive early, I was told "I won't have rooms until 3pm". I Should have had a handicap room upon arrival at 330pm since I had reserved a room with special requests (for handicapt accomidations) on bookings.com sadly I went through two room keys before the nice gentlemen (driver/clean up crew) was able to finally correct the repetive errors the front office caused with getting me roomed. The room was dirty to my standards, one of the handicap shower chairs was being used to hold extra towels and it was either not put together correctly or it was broken either way the safest way to make use of it was for those extra towels. Beware room 137 needs help, also the shower drains in two places the tiles hold water and it slips through the cracks in the grout which could cause a person to slip and fall. Especially a handicap person. Luckily I was able to toss a few extra towels down and helped me feel safe. 1 good thing is the shuttle service, but again getting that poor customer service interaction at the front desk caused me to cringe as I asked for a pick up at the airport rental return and then to the airport for my flight home. I was extremely displeased that my room was sold to another couple and they were able to use a card to unlock my door. And finding that there was something from a previous guest in my room fridge durring a pandemic was very unnerving along with seeing the cleanliness of my bed side table...soda (or something) causing the drawer to stick made me feel like I did not get my value for the price I paid for this room. I was pretty displeased with my stay however the last good thing I can say was the bedding was comfortable and clean. And the inshower handicap shower bench was wonderful and much welcomed surprise especially after my rooming fiasco and the laugh of a handicap shower chair sitting just inside the bathroom door.

The room was fine but the hotel needs to update it's website to reflect which amenities are available. The hotel bar is apparently closed on weekends which makes NO sense. However, they opened it to only staff for what we think was a Xmas party. Pretty disappointed to find that they offered no continental breakfast. I understand COVID protocols but there are things that can be offered that won't spread the plague....my fault for not calling ahead to check on how paranoid this place is about COVID, but wow! Completely disappointing.

This hotel is not close to anything and there is loud construction on the side of the building daily (yes, on weekends too) the building is a bit aged and the room is dark and bland. I will say the bartender is fantastic! She's really lovely. Free shuttle to hotel from airport was nice. Staff is really friendly, but I still would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel was advertised a lot better online/ through pictures. As soon as we got there we were greeted by a moody receptionist. Our keys didn’t work once we got to the room which meant we had to go back down. Also, we had input previously that we needed a crib and extra towels Which neither we’re waiting for us at the room. The room itself need cocking around the bathroom and also the toilet paper Dispenser was falling off the wall. Lastly, the walls are paper thin and we could hear conversations happening in the rooms besides us and across from us.

Not all it’s cracked up to be. The room was nicely decorated. However, the wall base had come off and was lying on the carpet. The shower had some staining on the glass and the light switch was dirty from hand/finger prints. The Bar and dining was not available during my stay.

Would not stay here again. Shuttle is advertised as running until midnight. But when I called at 11:40 I was told that the last run was at 11:30 so I had to spend $37 on an uber to get to the hotel. When I got there they acted like I did not have a reservation and then finally found it. Then at 4 in the morning the fire alarm went off for 15 minutes and not once did a staff member apologize for the inconvenience or even acknowledge that the night watch burnt popcorn in the microwave which is what caused the alarm to go off for 15 minutes and have the entire hotel standing outside in the cold drizzle at 4 in the morning.

The facility is nice, recently remodled I think, but that loud AC unit kicking on and off just kills any positive things I'd have to say about the room. The rooms are clean and at first glance look nice and decorative. I know the hotel has been here for many years, which is why I'm thinking it was remodeled recently, and it boggles my mind that they did not make a better choice on the heating and air unit. Additionally, I immediately hit my shin on the bed frame corner and had a nice bruise for a few days. Lastly, I could literally hear the gentleman in the next room loud and clear as he was talking. Add all that up and sleep that night was non-existent. Decent place, but bring earplugs.

Very nice hotel. Was very clean and updated! Most of the staff was very nice, just a couple grumpy front desk employees. The bar is closed on Saturday and Sunday which is a bummer since there isn’t much close by to the hotel but other than that, we were pleased.

I stayed there because I had an early morning flight and it is close to the airport. Found the area behind the nightstand dirty, covered in dust and an old tissue. Disgusting. Noise from construction outside my window (neighboring property) ALL NIGHT LONG. Air conditioner sounded like a freight train. Did not get any sleep. Would not stay there again.

I recently attended a wedding in Old Sacramento. Yelp gave the wedding venue excellent reviews, but the venue did not have good reviews for lodging. Since I had a car, I decided to explore other locations for hotel accommodations. I was very satisfied with the cleanliness of the room. Meal service was only available weekdays. I ordered a light meal and beverage from the bar before the kitchen closed on Friday night. Both the meal and the bar service were excellent. I was disappointed that the hotel offered no meal options on the weekend. Fortunately, there is a small strip mall within a 5 minute walk. The hotel is close to the airport but the area is very quiet since there is very little development of any kind at present.

I only stay at Marriotts and this may have been the worst hotel I’ve stayed at. Not sure how it’s a Marriott. The room was not kept well and needs major remodel. The staff isn’t the friendliest. There was no shower gel in my room and I called to get a refill twice and someone came after an hour. And he was just handing over the big gallon to refill it myself. Not staying here again.

The people at the front desk were great. Informative, friendly and helpful. The carpets could do with a good cleaning especially in the elevators. Other than that the room was clean and comfortable. Needed to have food delivered as there is mainly meat on their menu so a bit difficult for vegetarians. Would stay again.

We spent 20 minutes trying to find a parking spot, when we did it was on hotel property but signs stated "event parking only". We checked with the front desk staff it this was ok and instead of getting an answer We were told to just come down at 11 pm to move it if we were unsure! The security guard was in the phone yelling in the parking lot for hours, so load we could hear in our room on the 3rd floor. Only 3 towels for a family of 3. The pool was closed and nothing was noted on the website that day when we booked. Room alarm clock went off at 6 am ....in general it was a bad experience.

We selected Four Points as it was closest to the airport and had a shuttle. For both of our stays (August 26 and 29), the shuttle drivers took bumpy back roads stating bumper-to-bumper traffic on the interstate. We could see the interstate from the back roads, and each time it was not bumper to bumper. It was flowing without much traffic. It made me wonder why they really were taking the back roads. Was it because the van was licensed in Florida and not California? Was it because the drivers were not licensed. Very disconcerting. We also selected the Four Points because of its on-sight restaurant and not needing to go out again after arriving at the hotel. The Gateway did NOT serve "an eclectic array of food throughout the day." Rather, the food service was almost non-existant even by covid standards. When we arrived on the 26th, the menu was extrememly limited. I had a Ceasar salad the size of a small side salad, not a dinner salad. My husband had chicken wings, an appetizer, not a dinner. When we arrived on the 29th, the restaurant was not serving at all. We had to drive elsewhere. While the beds were very comfortable, the corners of both beds stuck out several inches beyond the mattress. My husband and I both hit our shins several times. Once my husband smacked it so hard he fell over onto the bed. Had he fallen the other direction onto the dresser, he would've hurt more than his shin. When we first stayed on the 26th, the pool was closed because of a problem, and it was still closed when we came back on the 29th. Because it was nearly 100 degrees, we had looked forward to a relaxing swim. Overall, the stay was very frustrating. It added to an already difficult time for us, as we flew into Sacramento to attend a funeral two hours away in the mountains. We would not recommend the Four Points, nor will we stay there again.

Needed a hotel room with a shuttle for early morning flight. Decided to stay in Sacramento rather than have my 83 year old uncle drive me to airport so early in the morning. The accommodations were very comfortable and there was a 4 am shuttle to SMF. Breakfast started at 6am so I didn't experience that. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I couldn't figure out the alarm clock but had one on my cellphone set

The hotel is located near the airport and checking in was quick and seamless. The rooms are spacious with the vaulted ceilings. The TV was large and the guide helpful in finding things to watch. The fridge and microwave were great for an extended stay with children. Only downfall was the pool was closed for maintenance. Overall we had a wonderful stay.

But just fine, not wonderful. Despite the sticker on the door promising that my room had been cleaned and sanitized, I found someone else's hair on the drain of the shower. The duvet was flat, and when held up it was easy to see through that it had no filling. The sheets were rough which was sad because the bed was very comfortable. I picked this hotel because of it's proximity to the airport for an early morning flight, but I don't think I will stay here again next time I am in the area.

I understood part of the hotel was under construction when I went… however they advised me we would have breakfast the next morning… but we did not have breakfast available. The room was packed with large furniture it was difficult to move around. Between myself and my guest with me we hit our shins at least four times in n the sharp corners of the bed frames during one night stay. Also…I cherish every moment can sleep but sadly we were woken up prematurely by the 830am phone call for a shuttle to the airport which we did not ask for.

Only stayed for one night due to flying out the next morning. It was clean, room was large, and bed was perfect. The fact that the shuttles run as early as 4am is also a HUGE bonus! Would definitely stay here again!

If you don’t mind really nice front desk staff but a soft lumpy bed, bathtub and shower ready for new fixtures, and an AC that goes out then stay here. The staff were very nice but didn’t offer me a new room when my AC went out at 3am. I was told they would note it for engineering at 9am. The only comp I was offered was breakfast, which I already had as my platinum gift. They swapped the gift to points to comp the breakfast. Overall the hotel looks nice and the rooms are nice but there are definite areas for major improvement and renewal.

As this is a Marriott property now, I expected Marriott service and amenities. I was a bit disappointed to the level of detail and service response from the staff. The staff was very friendly but saying n without coming up with different solutions is not at Marriott standards in my opinion. The hotel was clean and safe but lacked some of the basic amenities that were not available or filled.

I booked our hotel after calling to confirm that we would have access to all of the amenities. When we arrived on Memorial Day with a temperature of 107 degrees... We were told EVERYTHING WAS CLOSED! No pool No jacuzzi No bar No restaurant No amenities at all! There wasn’t even an American flag flying for Memorial Day!!! I don’t appreciate being lied to. If we didn’t have such an early flight, we would have definitely changed hotels... just like the other people that were walking in. They found out they were lied to also. Would I recommend this hotel? Not a chance!!! We had many choices and we definitely made a BAD CHOICE!!!

Front desk extremely friendly. Checked in at 4 and our room was not ready. She gave us the handicap room which was fine except the toilet was clogged. When I called for help they brought a plunger and wanted me to unclog the toilet. No hot water at first and the bathroom door handle was completely falling off. Pool was closed due to insurance issue after being told that it would be open for the holiday weekend.

The room was clean and well stocked when we arrived, but during our 3 night stay, the room was not cleaned or resupplied with coffee, etc., and the garbage was not removed. I had to ask at the desk for coffee, clean towels, and a refresh. The desk clerk was on the phone changing her schedule for the next weekend and acted like I, the paying customer, was a distraction and an Imposition. On Sunday, our last day, the refresh was done sometime after 6 pm! We stopped by the room at 5ish to pick up an item and the room wasn't clean then. Very disappointed.

The most kind and thoughtful staff I have ever experienced at a hotel. The room was also very clean and the hotel is located very conveniently located near the hotel. They also offer a complimentary shuttle to the airport and the staff will go out of their way to help in any way they can. Seriously awesome service!

The hotel and staff were wonderful. There were some issues with the walls in the bathroom. (light switch looked like it was punched into the wall and there were some chips in the lower parts of the wall where someone ran into it.) The pool, food, and bar were closed due to COVID (understandable but disappointing.) We have stayed at other hotels in the area during the pandemic and you are able to get your drinks to go and use the pool with a reservation, so that would have been nice if that had been an option.

I was very happy with my stay. I was able to leave my car for a week, as I was flying out of town, they have a airport shuttle. Friendly and courteous staff. Exceptionally clean rooms! The only thing I didn’t experience was dining due to COVID, but it looked like a pretty nice experience even if it was empty.

Not sure why the rating was a 3.2 when I checked out the hotel. This hotel is perfectly fine, has a nice little bar and the room was adequate, partially outdated but fine. Staff was good, the food was decent but don't see the point of being charged for breakfast when it is like most hotels that give you free breakfast. Not an issue, just skipped breakfast here otherwise very happy with this place and would stay again. Posting comment to help his hotel get to at least above a 4 rating so the low score is not deceiving.

I had a Vendor Golf Tournament to attend in the Natomas area, this Sheraton had decent reviews online and was a short distance from the course. My experience wasn't the same...I reserved a two room suite, and 'in general' the room was clean and well kept. However, at the price level, the room/service wasn't worth the standard rate much less the rate paid. Although the room advertised there was space for extra guests with a sofa bed (I was the only one in the room this trip - simply wanted the extra space) there were 2 towels and a wash cloth - period. Both the sink and bathtub backup immed. leaving one feeling 'less than clean'. Room advertises a large workspace (and it is, huge desk) only there is no light anywhere near the desk so unless you're working during the day the desk is useless at night, moved over a coffee table to the couch area to work (besides, the way the TV is mounted it's hard to see from the desk IF there was a light available). Room advertises a coffee maker, and there was with limited supplies, however there was only ONE very small PLASTIC cup in the ENTIRE room (I guess that was intended for water, soda, and/or coffee the next morning?). Lastly, I asked for a wakeup call at 5:45 - glad I set my own alarm as well as the wake up call never came by the time I left the room just before 7:00 am. The bed was comfortable, and the room reasonably clean, but for a Sheraton and the price level the stay itself was unacceptable and I would not recommend this hotel in the future.
