/ 5Le 01/06/2023 à 01:00Arriving at 2am on Christmas Day and our pre-arranged hotel transfer was waiting for us despite our delayed flight. There were cookies and eggnog to welcome us as well. We had a nice sleep and woke up to a delicious breakfast. Logistically located near multiple car rentals, we walked 15 minutes to pick up our rental, and hotel free parking was appreciated and safe keeping since local car rental rate at Paseo Colon is cheaper than airport rate. Also, conveniently, Maxi supermarket is right across the street for us to load up on foods and drinks for our 9-day trip.

The location the room and the staff were perfect. They accommodated our every need. The restaurant is very very very good. You must eat there…must have the arugula salad.

Additionally, I was impressed that our bartender from the Lobby Bar (Eduardo) came to us during our meal at Fuji, to bring us the micro-brew beer we were drinking at the bar (which the restaurant did not offer). The attention to this detail made a big impact for me. Thank you!

/ 5Le 12/21/2022 à 01:00Antes de retirarme solía hospedarme en El Crowne Plaza San Jose por question de trabajo. Ahora que tube la oportunidad de regresar por mi cuenta, no pensé en otro hotel. Mas que la localidad y comodidad, lo que me hizo regresar fue simplemente el servicio y la profesionalidad de todos sus empleados. En especial a Eric del restaurant, a Nancy y Eduardo del Lobby Bar. Son seres humanos excelentemente extraordinarios en lo que se dedican. Son muy afortunados de tenerlos como parte de su grupo laboral. Gracias chicos!!

La meilleure cuisine impossible et le personnel de 10, je suis d'accord avec l'établissement. Je le répéterais et bien sûr je le recommanderais, ainsi que la nourriture de votre restaurant.

From the servers to the bell boys, every staff was super accommodating and attentive to my needs. The food comprised of dishes I’ve never had before but loved.

/ 5Le 09/30/2022 à 02:00The Hotel and all the amenities were excellent. We were able to check in, exchange money and properly prepare for our excursions while we were in Costa Rica. The only difficulty was the traffic lanes and roads outside made it quite tricky to enter the hotel when coming back either by taxi or with our rental car.

I stay here the last night before returning to the states because it is close to the airport, and they arrange transportation to the airport for me. I recommend this property highly and out of the 100's of IHG properties I have stayed at, this is my favority!

Sur le lit, ils ont mis un détail de lune de miel avec des cygnes qui nous ont rendus très excités et c'était aussi spacieux et super confortable.

/ 5Le 07/01/2022 à 02:00What a wonderful stay!! The service at this hotel is excellent, from the front desk staff to all the servers in the restaurants. Everyone was friendly and went above and beyond to help. Breakfast was wonderful, with omelets made-to-order and lots of other options, including fresh fruit and hot entrees. Breakfast opened very early which was great. I ate lunch and dinner in the Italian and Japanese restaurants and everything I ordered was excellent. My room was very comfortable and clean. The only things missing were a small refrigerator and microwave. There were several English TV stations, but of course the majority are Spanish. The coffee provided for the small coffee maker in the room was very good and was replenished daily. There is a full grocery store across the highway in case you need anything; bring your own bags for your purchases. Or the gift shop on the first floor has a good selection of snacks, drinks, gifts, coffee, etc. I had an excellent stay and would absolutely choose to stay here again. Thank you to all the staff that made my stay memorable!!

We ate two nights at the restaurant. The french onion soup is as good as I have ever had. The tortilla soup was disappointing. While the location of the hotel is favorable; you should avoid driving there during rush hours as you may spend a lot of time in traffic.

Also, due to the San Jose airport closure my family and I had to return to this hotel. Negative: Nothing at all!

Les restaurants sont les pires de tous, attendant 40 minutes pour se faire dire qu'ils ont "oublié" votre commande. . . et cela ne s'est pas produit 1 fois, ils l'ont fait DEUX FOIS en 3 jours. Cher et moche, mille fois mieux que le Hilton. Mise à jour, réalisant ces situations, ils m'ont offert un petit déjeuner gratuit et une navette pour l'aéroport. J'espère que le service s'améliore.

The eggs were so runny I couldnt eat them, not many choices scrambled eggs, small pieces of ham and cheese gallo pinto fruit. I guess I was expecting eggs to order, bacon, sliced ham country sausage ect. maybe assorted breads, yogurts, pancakes, or waffles. Other then the cheap breakfast, my stay was great! I will stay again, but no breakfast for me.

Le service de chambre n'est venu que dans l'après-midi, ce qui était ennuyeux avec notre routine quotidienne. La piscine n'était pas chauffée et donc petite. Aussi plus petit que ce à quoi on pourrait s'attendre sur les photos. Le petit déjeuner était de bonne qualité, le service parfois bon et parfois moins attentionné (j'y ai passé trois nuits).

Quant au service du midi ce jour-là, qui était servi sous forme de buffet, la seule chose que je peux ajouter est qu'il est dommage que l'organisateur de l'événement ait choisi un menu plein de sauces sucrées pour les viandes. Je sais que ce n'est pas une question d'hôtel mais de goût du contractant mais sinon tout est très bien.

Tiene excelentes salones para realizar diversos tipos de eventos, desde congresos y ferias a pequeñas reuniones. Su desayuno buffet es excelente y variado, llamando la atencion que tiene su propia estacion de deliciosas pupusas. El pan de la casa tambien es excelente. Su gimnasio y tiene lo minimo que se necesita para una rutina de ejercicios cuando se está de viaje.

1 / 5Le 09/11/2021 à 15:49Malheureusement, mon expérience n'a pas été la meilleure, les chambres normales ne sont pas impressionnantes, mais ce que l'on recherche toujours, c'est d'avoir une bonne expérience, depuis notre arrivée, c'était mauvais, une heure à attendre que la chambre soit prête, quand on nous a dit nous a fait attendre 10 minutes, cela m'a fait être en retard pour un événement que j'avais devant l'hôtel. Puis le lendemain nous sommes arrivés au petit déjeuner et ils n'étaient pas prêts à recevoir leurs invités. Ce qu'il devait faire, c'était presque sortir de l'hôtel en courant. Nous pensions que pour le prix, l'expérience allait être meilleure mais malheureusement, ma famille et moi ne pensons pas que nous reviendrons dans cet endroit.

5 / 5Le 07/11/2021 à 02:09L'hôtel est un peu vieillot mais il est en bon état. Les chambres sont confortables et le petit déjeuner n'est pas si mal. Même ainsi, je vous recommande de prendre le petit déjeuner ailleurs si vous le pouvez. L'hôtel dispose d'une piscine et d'une salle de sport entièrement équipée. Le personnel de l'hôtel est sympathique et à quelques mètres vous trouverez un parc.

/ 5Le 10/31/2021 à 02:00Nos quedamos en el hotel dos noches, antes de volver a nuestro país, lo elegimos cerca del laboratorio para hacernos los estudios solicitados por nuestro gobierno, pero resulto que la elección fue muy afortunada, el hotel es excelente, muy lindo, cuenta con muy buenos servicios, la habitación estuvo impecable, muy cómoda, la cama espectacular, muy apropiada para recuperarse de un agotador viaje en auto, por las carreteras de Costa Rica. El personal muy atento y servicial, el desayuno estuvo excelente.

Excelente desayuno Buena seguridad Me gustaría en mí próxima estadia una habitación sin alfombra por condición de salud. Espero volver pronto y sentirme como en casa

/ 5Le 10/13/2021 à 02:00Este fin de semana experimenté con mi pareja una pequeña escapada que incluía como una de sus estaciones una noche en el Crowne plaza Corobicí. En general el hotel cumple con lo que promete. Gran calidad en todo. Un ambiente minimalista y sobrio , sumamente confortable con gran calidad en servicio e instalaciones. El único punto a mejorar es tener un menú más variado en el servicio a la habitación y una actitud más proactiva a informar a un huésped primerizo como yo las reglas del hotel. Bien recomendado...

Both times the rooms were clean and as described on the website, with minimal noise from the outside (stayed on the 4th and 5th floors). Room service and breakfast food were delicious. Only thing I did not like was that breakfast was not included on reservations made with IHG points. It should be included just as if you paid cash for the rooms, since points are also earned by spending money. Hotel is conveniently located next to the highway that takes you to the airport and a short distance from downtown. Will definitely stay here again.

All of a sudden, I had to find a place to stay for 10 days. The Crowne Plaza welcomed me and were very accommodating. Lucia was my direct contact and she reached out most days to make sure I was feeling food and that I had everything I needed. She helped me translate important health documents and was just the friendliest person! Michael works at the restaurant and he was so friendly in helping me with breakfast choices every morning. He was always. super happy to help and the food w as delicious!

/ 5Le 09/28/2021 à 02:00Very nice rooms and facilities, very clean and very nice presentation. A/C, Hot water, Cable TV, Wifi, Desk and chair for working if necessary, couch and table. Nice and clean bathroom. Very good food. Service in food was excellent. Nice Gym with brand new implements, clean and safe. Reception was excellent on day of check in but not so good the day of check out. Must improve. Very good and comfortable sleep.

/ 5Le 09/13/2021 à 02:00Hotel Staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived a day ahead of our scheduled tour and the staff was very accommodating. The dinner was excellent! They have a Japanese restaurant on-site. We heard from others on our tour that the food was great there too. They also called a taxi service for us to take us into town. Lobby was spacious and bar area was also very nice.

Sin embargo, la temperatura era horriblemente baja y no había manera de subirla, eso fue muy incómodo. El desayuno dentro de las restricciones Covid es amplio y bueno. También me gustaría comentar que tooodo el hotel está enmoquetado con una moqueta muy gruesa lo que dificulta el mover la maleta si es algo pesada. Creo que es algo que deberían tener en cuenta.

/ 5Le 07/01/2021 à 02:00Desde que llegas al hotel se nota el buen servicio, ayudándonos a llevar nuestras maletas a la habitación. Un check-in rápido. La habitación muy amplia, con una zona de oficina, y la decoración super detallada, la sorpresa fueron las fresas cubiertas de chocolate y el agua embotellada. La tarifa incluye el teppanyaki en el restaurante Fuji, que simplemente es una excelente experiencia, muchísima comida deliciosa y el show muy divertido. El gimnasio del hotel está muy bien equipado y se nota que le dan muy buen mantenimiento y limpieza. Por último, el desayuno incluido frente a la piscina fue la cereza del pastel. Además nos ofrecieron realizar un late check-out. Definitivamente recomendaría este paquete romántico a cualquier pareja que quiera desconectarse de la rutina.

I received a room upgrade based on my spire status however, it was right next to the elevator which is never my preference and my pre-set preferences are away from elevator. Nonetheless, the hotel is immaculately clean, sanitizers readily available, and the restaurant near the pool had an excellent selection. The casino is also impressive considering it is just a small part of the hotel. The gym is world-class!!! I will stay here again just to use the gym facilities and as a former amateur marathoner who has stayed at IHG properties on 6 continents, I was very impressed with the gym and kudos! Good job to whomever ordered the equipment!

/ 5Le 05/09/2021 à 02:00We had an exceptional stay both nights. Quiet room with a cloud like bed was very welcoming after our traveling. Asian restaurant was superb. As it was closed on our second night we went to Nattiva. We were so tired from our long drive that we were falling asleep at our table and just wanted to eat rather than dine. The service was at a relaxed pace which we normally prefer. But as we were struggling to stay awake after ordering dessert we asked our waiter to cancel it. That’s when Robert showed up at our table and turned our night around. He presented our dessert with a flourish and an personal interest in our enjoyment- insisting that it was on the house. And then topped off my wine and gave us a bottled water to go. His accommodation of our tired state was remarkable. He was able to make us feel valued guests

El restaurante en la noche puede mejorar un poco la calidad de los alimentos. pedí un ceviche de pescado que lo sentí duro y no de buen sabor. En general es un hotel con planta física bonita, habitaciones cómodas y muy limpias. El personal en general es muy amable. Me siento muy bien cuando me alojo en este hotel. Lo recomiendo 100%

/ 5Le 04/16/2021 à 02:00The hotel was nice and the room was clean. However, no one greeted me at the door when I arrived to introduce themselves or to help with my luggage. Also upon leaving, no one came to help me with my luggage. After calling the front desk and waiting 10 minutes, I took my luggage myself to check out. When I arrived at the lobby, the staff were playing around. It was 230 in the morning as my flight home was 530 and I had a driver picking me up so it wasn't like the staff were handling other customers at that time. The staff were rude and unaccommadating. I had better service at a 3 star hotel than I did at this 4 star hotel. Out of all my stays in Costa Rica, the Crowne Plaza was the worst. I will not stay here again. Every other hotel I stayed have been exceptional except this one.

Seul problème, il est apparemment compliqué d'émettre des factures pour des compagnie étrangères (malgré tout, si cela a pris du temps, le problème a été surmonté).

Excellent accueil, nous sommes arrivés en avance et avons pu patienter avec un cocktail et ils ont tout fait pour que nous ayons notre chambre rapidement. Prise en charge des bagages, parking sécurisé. La literie est excellente. Piscine un peu froide mais appréciable pour se détendre. Excellent petit déjeuner très varié. Nous recommandons cet hôtel

Odeur à humidité/moisi très prennant, pas de fenêtres donc pas d'aération et surtout, une tres mauvaise insonorisation! Nous avons eu du mal à dormir car il y avait une soirée et nous avons entendu la musique, des cris des gens qui étaient visiblement un peu éméchés et même un couple en pleine action dans la chambre voisine! Petit déjeuner buffet très bon avec de produits variés. Personnel très poli.
