It is near the San Pedro Cruise Terminal. Everything worked as expected. The window was dirtier than normal but I think they had a crew that was working on them as we left. The shuttle to the cruise cruise terminal was quick and convenient. Check in was prompt and courteous.

Was surprised that there wasn’t a bell hop at such an expensive hotel. We paid top price and charged for parking even when stated we didn’t have a car. No credit provided or a coupon for breakfast when asked the supervisor. Overall though, the hotel met our needs and was close to our final destination.

As a Diamond Elite member, I would have expected better customer service and recognition, I arrived at hotel at noon asking for early check in and didn't get a room until 6pm, 2 hours after normal check in time of 4pm. I waited and waited in the lobby until I was fed up, this is when I was told apparently, they forgot about me and there was a shift change so no one took responsibility. I chose to check out and moved to another IHG property where I was recognized and excellent customer service!

The staff was great greediness promptly upon arrival the gentleman was gracious acknowledged our status and was very polite. We checked in went into our room didn't pay much attention went down to the restaurant for dinner dinner was great the staff was great. Went upstairs too bad proceeded to take a shower but the tub is so huge you have to be a giant to step into it. Next we went to lay in bed to go to sleep and the bed is hard as a rock and uncomfortable leaving us to sleep only a few hours a night not a great way to start a vacation. For the amount that we paid for this room it is nowhere near par and I will not recommend it to my cruising community.

We have been staying at this hotel for nearly two decades and it just keeps getting better! The staff, and especially the bellmen were fantastic! Knowledgeable, helpful, very much more than expected! They have refreshed and upgraded the main floor and especially the restaurant in the past couple of years and even though it has always been comfortable now it is both comfortable and stylish.

Excellent customer service provided by hotel staff. Mr. Miguel is a very patient gentleman. He smiles and understands my needs. He is a very good listener. However, the room is smaller than I expected. The mirror has rust that is not moved easily. No queen size beds are offered.

They have comfortable beds and great service. Everyone was very friendly and helpful with all of our questions. We would definitely visit again and recommend this hotel to others who are travelling for the same purpose!

I have to give you a positive review of Crown Plaza San Pedro California has a great bellman named Jimme. He came to our room to collect our luggage even though he had a lobby full of cruise passengers eagerly waiting to get on the shuttle over to the dock. The 10 am shuttle was full and Jimmie asked if we would be okay waiting for 10:30, no problem. Jimmie loaded our luggage and let me board first since I'm disabled. Jimmie was very personable, efficient, and thorough in his job. Thank you Jimmie

Kudos to Crowne Plaza San Pedro for letting us check in several hours before check in time!! This is a great policy. The room was gigantic and quite comfortable. Unfortunately, we were told a check in that we would have to pay $42 for breakfast even though we had already paid for it (breakfast). After speaking with another employee, we were given the breakfast vouchers and didn’t have to pay the additional $42.

We stayed at the hotel dec 25 and again jan 2, when we checked into our room on jan 2 the room was cool, we turned the heat on but only cold air came out. My husband contacted the front desk and we were given another room without any hassle. The next morning ready to take a shower, the faucet was extermely hard to turn, when we were finally able to turn it on we could not control the temperature, very hot water, then we could not turn it completely off. We mentioned this to a maintenance man in the lobby and also at the front desk.

The location of this hotel is superb, just a short walk to the cruise terminal. The front desk staff were very helpful and made every effort to get us checked into our room asap. Unfortunately though, the rooms themselves are quite old and I desperate need of some upgrades. The sofa bed was terribly lumpy, even for sofa bed standards. The carpets are pretty worn as well.

If you are staying here for the cruise, it’s best to park at the terminal rather than the hotel. The shuttle service is terrible. They made you paid for shuttle passes in advance but failed to pick us up. We had to book an Uber back to hotel after two hours wait. The operator kept telling us to wait for the shuttle. It’s terrible that they can’t even tell us the truth about being short handed. I also see others, whom were caught in the same situation.

This covers both of our stays on 11/16 and 12/2. As Platinum Elite member, we have come to expect the finest upscale service at the Crowne Plaza Hotels, and I will say that the rooms were very comfortable, clean and quiet. So the restful part of the experience was great. HOWEVER, the lobby, restaurant and shuttle service was abysmal as we were drawn to this Hotel for the convenience to the World Cruise Port. Embarkation day on 12/3, we were provided complementary breakfast coupons, for which we were charged to our bill and the service was slow to deliver cool food. The lobby was packed with outgoing and incoming passengers and we were packed onto the shuttle service. Bless his heart, the shuttle driver was working as hard as humanly possible, but the load was excessive. We booked our anniversary night 12/2 for the return, and that was a severe mistake. Shuttle pick up was over an hour wait in the drizzle. Same driver who apparently had 2 shuttles, but only 1 driver. Counter agent was rather abrupt to tell us to sign on a list to await check in at 4:00. We waited for 5 hours for a room and at 4:00 I went to the lobby only to see that there were exhaustive lines without much coordination to check in. I was not called based on the check in.. the agent said she called, but my phone record shows no call. Finally check in and go to have dinner ... No Host(ess) until we were told to go to the bar .. then they said go to the restaurant. 10 minutes to get menu, 15 more minutes to acknowledge we were there. Others were seated and menu'ed. Service was painfully unattentive and slow. Ultimately, Bobby Z waited on usbut was too overloaded to provide the service I think he wanted. Significantly lack of resources and protocol to treat Crowne Plaza guests in the manner that they should expect from an upscale Hotel Group. Although the second night was a perk, I feel we paid a high price of frustration and anxiety. Please get the resources needed to lift your service or change the name on the front door. I have other safety concerns as well.

STRIKE 1: Upon arrival on Nov 11, 2022 at 3:15pm, the hotel manager made us sign up for the check-in waiting list. I waited for another 30 minutes and I noticed that other arriving guests, mostly cruise ship patrons were getting checked in right away... STRIKE 2: The room key card issued to us did not work when we checked in. The bell hop and housekeeper used their key cards to let us in the elevator and in our room... STRIKE 3: There was a brown stain on the drapes, reading lamps did not work, no hand towels and wash cloths in the bathroom... STRIKE 4: There's not enough exercise equipment and towels in the gym... STRIKE 5: The hostess at the restaurant made us wait longer and seated 2 parties before us. Both parties were absolutely behind us standing in line... STRIKE 6: Room attendant was knocking on our door at 9:36pm without announcing himself. He tried to deliver towels which we did not ask for... The services we received from this hotel is UNSATISFACTORY. Clearly, this hotel caters more to their cruise ship patrons. They give more special treatment and attention than other local guests. I can only assume that the hotel gets more revenues and tips from these cruise ship patrons. As a military veteran, my wife and I were hoping to have a much-needed rest and recuperation during Veterans Day. Instead, this hotel provided us the opposite. Hotel staff catered more to the foreigners (cruise ship patrons) than American servicemembers who served our Great Nation.

Stayed in Nov 2022 for work. Hotel was ok. Wifi was ok. Pool looked lovely though no time to use. Couldn’t for the life of me get anyone to bring me a kettle. I drink tea not coffee - they didn’t know what a kettle is. Told me the coffee machine had hot water. The coffee machine gave me brown, lukewarm water then stopped working. Asked for a kettle and was transferred repeatedly and met with confused questions. Just wanted tea. Was getting up at 5 am but had to wait till 6.30 every day just to ask front desk again who would transfer me to kitchen who were confused and annoyed. And then they would send a jig of lukewarm water. I had no way tot make a cup of tea in my room even after asking several times. The tea in the restaurant was weak - one massive pot that could take 4-5 teabags with just one sad teabag - it looked like apple juice not tea. I even had my own tea bags in anticipation of issues but the hotel could not provide a kettle. Mornings were sad!

L'hôtel est près du terminal de croisière. En conséquence, de nombreux touristes de croisière sont invités ici. Il peut donc y avoir beaucoup de monde à l'enregistrement. Surtout quand un bus avec des croisés vient d'arriver. L'enregistrement est également assez fastidieux, car ce n'est qu'APRÈS 16 heures. Après 11 heures de vol, nous étions à la réception à 15h45. Ensuite, on nous a dit que nous serions mis sur une liste et qu'il faudrait maintenant attendre jusqu'à 16 heures. Je n'ai aucune idée de ce que cette liste est censée être. Lorsque nous avons demandé pourquoi nous ne pouvions pas nous enregistrer, même si la chambre n'était pas prête, vous pouvez normalement vous enregistrer, le monsieur de la réception vient de dire que la direction le veut ainsi. Nous nous sommes donc assis et avons attendu. Puis l'un desdits bus avec des croisés est venu. Immédiatement, il y a eu une énorme file d'attente à la réception, et les gens ont été servis immédiatement et ont pu s'enregistrer. Les 15 minutes manquantes n'avaient pas d'importance. Netzt nous avons dû attendre que ce soit notre tour. Après un vol de 11 heures, un tel comportement est tout simplement impossible. Conclusion : si vous ne venez pas de réserver une croisière, vous devriez chercher un autre hôtel.

If you’ve ever stayed at a Crowne Plaza (or other IHG property) I can almost guarantee disappointment in your stay here. They’ve been remodeling for some time, but it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. The hallway carpet is shredding and torn, the rooms are in terrible condition with lampshades broken and barely hanging on, furniture that has been destroyed rotting and moldy. I honestly can’t believe that they are permitted to have the CP flag out front. All hotels get worn and need refreshed - none should ever get to this point. The one good thing about the property is the team. The bell staff, front desk, and evening bartender were all awesome. The morning servers in the restaurant though weren’t nice and we’re quite unhelpful.

We decided to stay here based on a cruise we were going on -it was close to the port. The hotel is clean the staff was friendly. Centrally located to other points of interests. Restaurant on site was great (ordered dinner and breakfast via room service). Friendly, efficient and quick service. Would highly recommend!

Great location near cruise terminal. They have a shuttle to the piers, resturant, and covered parking. Rooms are quiet with all standard amenities. The con is the rooms are out dated, rooms with 2 beds are doubles instead of queens, if not getting the continental breakfast, the breakfast wait staff is tortursly slow on orders. Allnin all, great place to stay before your cruise.

Je suis resté 3 jours dans cet hôtel, personne n'a nettoyé ma chambre, personne n'a changé mes serviettes, personne ne m'a donné de savon. Il n'y a pas pire hôtel que celui-ci. Vraiment mauvais. Évitez si vous le pouvez.

The Crowne Plaza Harbor is in a great location in San Pedro. The rooms are clean and spacious; the staff is friendly and helpful. The parking is convenient. If the windows opened for fresh air, it would be just about perfect!

I have Platinum Elite (Ambassador) status with IHG. I had requested early check-in at this hotel. I was denied early check-in and told that none of the room would be available until after 4:00pm. The lobby was full of people that got off a cruise at 9am and were told the same story about no room available until after 4pm. The lobby was also full of luggage from all the people waiting on a room. The lobby was dirty and full of empty drinking glasses scattered everywhere. All of the lobby seating was occupied. We arrived at the property at 1:00pm....I explained that I have Platinum Elite Status and had requested a early check in.....the person behind the desk (Lynn) rolled her eyes and said everyone here has status and there are no rooms until after 4:00pm. We waited in the lobby for 2 hours.....went back to the front desk and requested any type of room that was available. They finely found us a room on the third floor. The hotel is way understaffed. There are not enough cleaners to prepare the rooms for check-in. I will never stay at this hotel property again.

My family and I loved every minute of our stay. We had a room with a amazing view and the weather was nice. The food we ordered from the restaurant was unbelievable I recommended the Crowne Plaza to anyone who wants a good nights sleep and friendly staff

The lobby is lovely and very convenient to the port. The check in system is very flawed. I think I waited more than an hour total to check in and get a key to my rooom. I had booked a king executive room. It appeared newly decoarated, but attention to detail was apparent. Curtains, lamps, granite and Keurig were lovely. Yet, the TV did not work well. Perhaps, a loose connection caused by switching between bedroom an living room. Two TVs would have been expected in an executive room. The bathroom floor had a film, shower curtain dragged the ground, faucet dripped, and mold in the shower. The furniture was new as was the carpet, but it was stained. Disappointed overall. Also, the wrong credit card was charged. I would have privately shared this had a survey been available.

We chose this hotel for its close location to the cruise port. It was a great choice. The staff were friendly and helpful. We walked along the waterfront boardwalk and up the streets near the hotel. There was a film shoot going on so was interesting to see all of the film crew. Took a tour of the USS Iowa which again is a very short walk from the hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

After a long drive to Cali the parking in this hotel is weird. Underground and very dark. Not enough spaces for handicapped people. Elevators worked well. Staff didn’t seem to know much about where our meeting was held. Food was ok. Very salty!! Memorial service was held in a room in hotel, but man at desk couldn’t find it on his schedule!so I had to contact the family member..ambiance was nice.. lots of homeless people wandering about the grounds outside etc…

This was the perfect spot for our pre-cruise stay. I was very happy with the service and friendly staff. Great bar area. Comfortable bed. Spacious room. Good breakfast. Nice pool area. Quiet area around the hotel. Highly recommend.

I booked two rooms for an overnight stay prior to a cruise. I was less than satisfied with how we were treated upon arrival. Neither rooms was ready at 4p as advertised and there was no offer of any accommodation. There was no secure place for our luggage even if we wanted to leave to explore the riverfront. The bar area was not open so we could not get food or drinks while we waited. And, I had to ask for a key to access the restroom. That should have been the least that was made available.

I'm not sure if this reported incident made it to Corporate last Monday morning but we'll see if the manager did his duty as promised. Three business days have passed and he never got back to us. This is pretty outrageous and factual (7 eyewitnesses and if "no cameras"...they don't lie) so brace yourself: Friday Sept 23, 2022 between 10:00-10:07pm, pool area, there's a guy flashing his phone camera behind the bushes taking pictures, either of me in swim trunks OR of our 11yr old niece. I run over with the rest of the family to confront the man and it ends up being their outside-hired SECURITY! I asked him why he was taking pictures and was it of me OR of my 11yr old niece?! He claimed, "My boss always has me take pics and send them." I then asked if we were suspects in any crime, because that's the only time he should be authorized to take pics. He then changed the subject and said the pool area was closing. I asked what time it closes, he said "10pm". I then asked why he didn't make an announcement and decided to take pics instead. He then walked away and allowed a couple to remain in the Whirlpool at 10:07pm. Makes no sense whatsoever. I don't know if they'll reprimand him or fire him but if you see an older, short, small built African-American dude (who reeked of cigarettes), BEWARE. Keep out of the pool area, especially if you have children. Just outrageous. We reported it to manager on duty the following morning. The first thing he mentioned was the security was an outside hire. I told him 2 words: "Vicarious Liability" (Hotel is responsible for the actions of anyone they employ on the premises). We are still shocked. I don't believe we'll be staying here anymore and we were frequent on business. And on a personal review/note, the hotel costs the same as a 4-star but is outdated with broken furniture and a number of other things that need to be upgraded. They are merely a "factory" for people staying 1 night then off to their cruise the next morning, so there's little repercussion for anything. Loads of people at 4pm to check in, while being understaffed and minimal oversight.

It was not first time stay at the Harbor Crowne Plaza. But the Best so far. We were on the 2nd floor. With a sliding Door that led to the Pool area. My daughter stayed busy getting in the pool. We ate together in the lounge and even stayed an extra day. The team was fun upbeat and very nice to be around. I recommend 100 percent

Positive: The restaurant that was not affiliated with the hotel Negative: The air conditioning in the room was insufficient for the space. Parking was not included, for this level of hotel it should be. Power outage led to elevator not working which meant climbing 8 flights of stairs just to get to out room.

The hotel lobby and dining area are nice. The rooms need to be updated. Lots of wear and tear like the bathtub paint was coming off, stains on the walls and near the vents. The beds were comfortable. The hotel staff were great. Breakfast was decent and the restaurant staff were very attentive and helpful. Had dinner at the hotel restaurant, the dinner salad was good. The pool looked liked it needed to be cleaned so we did not go in.

I chose this for a staycation and was not disappointed. The location was perfect for all the places I wanted to walk (Historic San Pedro, USS Iowa, Maritime Museum, etc.) and convenient to head over to Long Beach. The hotel was very accommodating and the amenities I look for (food, drink, gym) were all perfect. I would definitely stay here again.

I got updated to one the suites on the 3th floor for my stay. The room is clean and spacious. But there is a lack of functional decor in the room. Perhaps it is due to this property being in the middle of a renovation. The furniture in the room also looks worn out and slightly out of place, too small for such a big suite I am staying in. Apart from that everything else is excellent. I used the restaurant and bar service every day I stayed. It is excellent. The adjacent pool area also made relaxing back at the hotel more than staying in one's room. Staff is also courteous and attentive to my requests.

The hotel staff was great. I would have to say that the tub/shower had somewhat to be desired. You do not have much space to move around in there when you want to use it as a shower. Plus the wall handle is on the wrong side of the tub/shower. It is placed in front instead of on the side that you would be getting out. I also feel that the restaurant could do better in the service and price department. During our visit with them for dinner our server had to respond to 2 Room Service calls. The price and selection did not match up either. I feel that for the food that was on the menu for dinner should have been about $5 less across the board. On a positive note the Breakfast Buffet was very good. There was a good variety and the food was hot and plentiful. The shuttle to the Port was prompt.

Après avoir eu mon petit souci de robinetterie, j'ai prévenu les techniciens qui ont tout de suite réagi, et réparer mon problème . Je remerci tous le personnel pour leur réactivité, leurs professionnalisme, leurs gentillesses. Concernant le repos, les chambres sont bien, très cozy.

I am a regular guest at Crowne Plaza San Pedro. I am generally satisfied but the area which really needs improvement is the restaurant : service is too slow, really too slow. I feel there is not enough personel in that restaurant, and they seem overloaded. For breakfast, since it is a buffet, why not give the customer a self service coffee pot/machine to reduce the wait, we can help ourselves with everything. The breakfast lunch dinner menus should be changed more often for regular guests. I notice that the Pizzas were sometimes amazing and large, and the complete opposite the next week. ALL Elevators need to work, it is traffic jam in the morning. Many USB sockets do not work, they are disconnected upstream ( because the bed was moved or for other reasons) and won't charge any phone or tablet : not convenient when you realise this in the morning before leaving.

Hotel correcte, staff à la réception très serviable, les chambres sont plutôt simpathique, le confort des lits est excellent, le restaurant une catastrophe 45 minutes d'attentes pour une salade saumon et que le restaurant est à peine rempli de 2 ou 3 tables, le même plat selon le midi ou le soir n'est plus du tout le même goût!

Feel like home Des qu on arrive dans le hall de l hotel on se sent comme à la maison. Le personnel de la reception plus qu'agréable. Ils se souviennent de mes preference de chambre à chacun de mes passges: grand lit, non communiquante, côté piscine et pres des ascenseurs tels que la 820,720,620... Très bon séjour à chaque passage

Le lit est confortable Le personnel de la réception est très accueillant et professionnel, je garde de très bon souvenirs. Le personnel valet essaie toujours de satisfaire ses clients du mieux quil peut. En revanche la cuisine est très lente J'ai apprécié mon séjour Hotel correct Des rénovations sont à envisager

-Personnel sympathique et plein de bonne volonté. -L'hôtel reste isolé de centres commerciaux. -Les ascenseurs sont d'un autre vieux et ne sont pas rassurants. -La qualité de la restauration laisse à désirer compte tenu des prix pratiqués.

Lit très confortable, chambres propres et hotel à recommander.Juste que les chambres ne sont pas bien insonorisées côté piscine (du bruit le soir très tard).

Endroit favorable au repos. Le personnel est courtois et aimable. L'hôtel est situé prêt des restaurants et certaines chambres ont une belle vue. La piscine est très grande.

Bed was ok. Temparature in the room was too low. Check in was good, the lady did a good job and explain everything to me concerning deposit (my credit card wasn't working). The day after i asked for another key for my friend and another lady was a bit rude and unfriendly.

Les chambres des étages supérieures au 8ème ont toutes été refaites. Un grand soins à été particulièrement apporté au niveau de la moquette ainsi que les amenaient de la chambre avec des connectiques modernes tel que USB, HDMI. Les lits sont de très bonnes qualités ainsi que les oreillers. Félicitation.

Dans l'ensemble cet hotel est parfait pour des séjours en famille ou pour affaires. Les chambres sont spacieuses et la literie convenable. Le personnel est attentionné.

Le petit déjeuner n'est vraiment pas terrible, mais le coin est sympas pleins de petits resto et bar accessible a pieds. Les chambres sont assez spacieuses, et confortables mais il manque un miroir plein pied !

Les draps sont de matières genre plastique / nylon. Accueille à la réception très bien, servi par Lakia.
