  Excellent hôtel situé au centre. Personnel très professionnel et gentil. Chambres confortables, modernes et calmes (dommage pour les salles de bains sans fenêtre que je considère toujours comme un inconvénient). Parties communes soignées et agréables même en été grâce à la petite piscine dans le jardin de l'hôtel. Excellent dîner, dommage pour le petit déjeuner qui n'est pas 5 étoiles. Dans l'ensemble, c'est un super hôtel.

  Meilleur emplacement en ville. Non loin des sites touristiques. Les suites offrent une vue inoubliable et époustouflante sur les toits florentins, jusqu'au Duomo. L'expérience commence à l'arrivée. Le personnel vous attend d'une manière extrêmement amicale et courtoise, les clés de la voiture sont remises, les valises sont déchargées et emmenées directement dans la suite. Il n'y a pas de file d'attente à l'enregistrement à la réception mais on nous a demandé de nous asseoir sur le canapé où on nous a demandé des rafraîchissements. L'hôtel a beaucoup d'histoire. Est magnifiquement et élégamment meublé. Les pièces sont bien éclairées grâce aux hauts plafonds. Jusqu'à la prochaine fois.

  Au cœur de Florence, j'ai reçu un câlin inattendu. Un apéritif dans un cadre prestigieux où j'ai été accueilli avec professionnalisme et courtoisie. J'ai passé quelques heures en compagnie de personnes qui me sont chères dans un endroit vraiment beau et élégant où j'ai volé de magnifiques clichés. Un merci spécial à votre M. Zizi Massimo qui nous a accueillis comme un véritable hôte en nous montrant les beautés exclusives de ce lieu enchanteur avec une disponibilité exquise et polie comme peu peuvent le faire. J'espère revenir bientôt à Florence une ville merveilleuse!

  Title says it all. Would definitely recommend. Bar and restaurant prices were higher than expected, but food and drink was well done. Room service was almost non-existent and required involvement from the concierge to have them return any calls. Overall would stay here again.

  Beautiful lobby, friendly, helpful & professional staff. Hallways are clean but a bit dark. Harry’s bar is fantastic & the grounds: pool & courtyard is beautiful & adds great value to the ambiance of the hotel. The rooms are decent size, bathroom shower was too small compared to the size of the bathroom. The room overall was ok. There was lots of dust in corners & I feel it could have been cleaned better but they were well equipped with everting we’d need. Our room had a view of the pool & courtyard & that made the stay 10 times better. The coffee they offered in the room was superb! If you’re traveling different spots. I’d start here & end somewhere a little more 5 star like the st Regis nearby. Overall good hotel for the money but I feel there’s room for improvement.

  L'hôtel est construit sur un magnifique bâtiment florentin historique à quelques pas du cœur de Florence. Distance minimale de la gare Santa Maria Novella. Parking pratique devant l'hôtel. L'intérieur est prestigieux et très formel. Les chambres ont été rénovées, très spacieuses ainsi que les salles de bains. Le jardin avec la piscine et la serre est ravissant. Certainement un endroit pour se faire dorloter et gâter.

  From the first moment we got there until we left, the staff at the hotel made us feel welcome and special. We loved our stay in this historic hotel and especially enjoyed our time in the lobby bar, where we had late night or afternoon drinks, breakfast and coffee. They often came through with free appetizers and cheese plate was generous enough for four people. I can't say enough about the service and how helpful and inviting. We also loved the location, with its car-free piazza in front of the hotel and the fact that it was a few mins walk away from tourist areas. I mean, it's Florence, so you can walk anywhere... and we did. The hotel itself was beautiful, and I would have loved to see it in the spring/summer (we went in March). The rooms were very nice, and we loved our balcony. Overall a special stay in a special location.

  What a wonderful property! The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. It is rare to have such a large room in a European hotel. The bar was so nice and we had the best cocktails. What really made the hotel was the staff. They were absolutely incredible from helping us with dinner reservations every single night and calling taxis for us as well (my Dad is older and has trouble walking very long distances). They also recommended all the restaurants to eat at and they were SPOT ON for the best places. We had the most wonderful meals. Would absolutely stay here again when in Florence!

  We chose the Sina VIlla Medici for our stay in Florence and were so glad we did. Set just on the outside of the city was convenient walking to everything including train station and main piazzas but was quiet at night for sound sleeping. Plenty of restaurants nearby and generous, private and secure area for taxi drop off/pick up. Harry's in the Garden is the onsite restaurant/bar and it was delicious. Staff were all very friendly. Our alternative location considerations were St. Regis and The Westin -which are located in the same circular drive in a much busier traffic and tourist area so we were happy with our choice!

  This hotel is perfection. From the moment that we checked in to the moment we left it was the best stay. The people that work there are kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They also go above and beyond to make your stay exceptional. Jacopo, Yari, Roberta, and Neri and the front desk are fantastic. They made the check in process smooth and they made us a reservation for lunch at a fabulous restaurant. They also made sure that a cab was waiting to take us to the train station after we checked out. Lorenzo at the bar is a wealth of knowledge on wine and other cocktails. Roberte who helped us at breakfast (which was also delicious) is kind and provided excellent service. I can't imagine a better place to stay in all of Florence. The rooms are beautiful and have the best views of Florence.

  The location of the hotel and the staff are very good, the breakfast is a buffet and the options are limited and non-renewable, the speed of the internet connection in the room is poor. When I checked in to the hotel and go to my room (As a titanium member I thought I'll get an upgrade to the suite but unfortunately I didn't get it and they offer me an upgrade to a junior suite without any view which I didn't accept) several bottles of water (actually two) are provided and this is the usual practice, but after room service came they didn't add it, And when I asked them for bottles of water they clear to me that when ordering a bottle of water a fee will be charged on it, and this is what surprised me.

  I never give poor reviews but this hotel will be an exception. This is not a five star hotel. Our hotel room was hot and the aircon didn’t have a cooling mode, staff were asked multiple times for a fan which didn’t assist and meant we had to sleep with the windows open. The sound of traffic kept us awake for both nights of our stay.

  The service was excellent and the staff was very accommodating. I was travelling just as entry requirements in many countries were changing due to an emerging variant-of-concern. I was struggling to find a lab that could do a quick PCR test for my upcoming flight. The concierge, Paolo, was extremely helpful and able to schedule a test and arrange transportation. The service and quality at Harry's Bar were impeccable. The room was stylish and comfortable. Overall, an excellent stay!

  My first trip to Italy, but definitely will not be my last. Everything in the hotel was absolutely perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful, answering any of our questions. The food was amazing! Would definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends. I cannot wait to come back again, and I would definitely stay here again.

  Sina hotels is part of the Amex fine hotels and resorts and it does live up to it. We got a free upgrade which has a balcony over looking the pool. Staff was super helpful, attentive and friendly!

  L'un des meilleurs hôtels où nous sommes allés dans les nombreux voyages que nous avons visités en Europe. Nous étions tristes que ce soit pour une journée, mais il a absolument tout. Personnel très poli et sympathique. Les chambres incroyables (nous en avions une au 5ème étage avec terrasse et vue panoramique sur tout Florence, incroyable) Les petits déjeuners très complets. L'hôtel à 13 minutes du Duomo et du centre.

  We wanted to stay in Florence for one day and wanted to stay walking distance from the center. the hotel staff were great and so welcoming. they were very helpful all the time. they took care of the parking for our car and we had a lovely room with the view which we loved. we loved this hotel and we will be back again.

  Once you get past the filthy carpets in the front and walk into the lobby everything glows. The staff is wonderful! We immediately felt welcomed … the Harry's bar area was clean and welcoming as well. We proceeded to our room lovely spacious and clean. The big issue was the bedding. Sheets were scratchy the pillows were lumpy. Terrible!!! No way this is the Marriott bed that we know and love. My back and neck ached. So disappointing. If you use this property BYOS and pillows

  Sergio, Anna and others all made our stay delightful. We had a one bedroom suite through our suite night awards. The first room was a little older and had a few issues, but they were happy to move us to another suite right away. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay and will be back again.

  Being a gold elite member, I have enjoyed staying at almost all of the Marriot hotels during this trip apart from villa Medici where the service was poor and unpleasant. Mr Fabio checked me in late night with a very cold and unpleasant attitude. I would have left the premises was it not that late at night. Would highly appreciate if you looked into the matter with the hotel. Thank you

  We had a wonderful stay at Sina Villa Medici while we were exploring Florence. It may look far from the center of action on the map, but it's actually pretty close to walk to galleries and duomo, and piazza. If you want to park, there is a gate where you have to buzz yourself in, we had a hard time finding how to get in first time around. The whole staff was so friendly and helpful, you could really feel it is a five star hotel with high standards for their service. We also appreciated that they let us order food at the bar when it was between lunch & dinner hours instead of telling us that we have to wait until 7:30pm when dinner service begins usually in Italy. I would stay at Sina Villa Medici again when we are back in Florence and would recommend it to anyone who's looking for a nice hotel to stay and recharge on their trip.

  i was upgraded at check-in as i should have been based on my status + Amex Platinum card perk, but then as my wife and were about to enter the elevators (this was our 10th anniversary,) they called us back to the counter and said there was a problem with the room, and downgraded us back to our original room. I don't buy it, and the hotel was almost empty while we were there. Prices at Harry's Bar were ~20% higher than the Michelin-rated restaurant we dined at for dinner, which was totally appalling. This was basically a standard Marriott hotel and room with Four Seasons prices (Except oh wait, this would have all been included at no charge at Four Seasons.) Also, bathroom sink and shower were clogged so there was actually a problem with the lame room they put us back into. And wifi was so bad i couldn't book tickets for museums. Awful all around except for convenient location by train station

  Very close to the city centre. You can literally walk 10 minutes and you are near Santa Maria Novella where everything unveils in front of you. Staff very nice, friendly and super happy to help. Clean rooms with beautiful interior design and good internet as well. Enough to run a conference call in the room. Great Breakfast and a good pool if you want to refresh during the hot afternoons.

  Far overpriced hotel for the state of wear and tear, in particular decade old, sticky carpets in corridors and on staircases. Don’t understand why you didn’t use covid lockdowns for refurbishment. Rooms refer more to a 3 star hotel. Far away from international Marriott standards. However very good mattress. Room tidiness ok, good hotel location.

  I was in Italy for some business meetings, but had my 18-year-old daughter with me for some sightseeing before college. The hotel has such a wonderful laid-back elegance to it—all the amenities you need and within walking distance of almost everything you want to experience. The staff was very attentive and professional. I look forward to my next visit to the Sina Villa Medici.

  For the most part my stay was outstanding and most of the staff was outstanding specifically Vanessa working at the Restaurant/Bar, the other staff at the Restaurant/Bar far too often was more concerned with conversations amongst themselves and oblivious that a customer was waiting to be seated or served. I had to wait numerous times 3-5 minutes before I was even greeted as the staff made eye contact with me or even walked by me. All of the front desk staff to include the concierge were outstanding, with the exception of being woken up by a phone call at 4 AM Sunday the last day of my stay.

  Sina Villa Medici in Florence is one of the houses you always wish to stay for a few days. You enter in a beautiful hotel, elegant, but the atmosphere is warmhearted and you feel welcome by the staff. It's fortunately not that formal, which sometimes in this class of hotel is common. Excellent service, clean and a wonderful garden on top of all that. We profited from an upgrade (thanks to Hotel!!) and had a wonderful room, modern and full of light. We enjoyed a lot!

  Our stay was amazing. Greeted by very kind and welcoming staff and the feel of the hotel was great. Our room was better than expected. We were offered a free upgraded but ended up staying in our original room due to the amazing view and balcony. Breakfast was great, the maids were amazing and we could not have been any happier with our stay. Thank you so much!

  Un vrai hôtel 5 étoiles, mais malheureusement je n'ai pas eu la chance d'en faire l'expérience dans toute sa beauté et sa majesté. Un grand hôtel dans le centre historique de Florence, où, en plus de rester, il est bien adapté pour les réunions d'affaires. Lieu magique, et à certains égards également riche de l'histoire de la famille Médicis, symbole de la capitale toscane. Je pense aussi qu'il a une position vraiment stratégique, en moins de 7 minutes (avec des talons) vous pouvez rejoindre la gare et en environ 10 minutes vous êtes déjà à la cathédrale. C'est pratiquement le centre-ville ! Le jardin spectaculaire, dommage que la journée n'ait pas été très ensoleillée mais, malgré cela, il offre poésie et magie... Un vrai lieu romantique... Le restaurant propose une large gamme de gourmandises bien présentées. Le service impeccable, peut-être un peu rapide parfois... Ils ont failli m'enlever mon assiette alors que je mâchais encore la dernière bouchée, mais tant pis ! Tarifs adaptés à l'offre. CONSEILLÉ!!

  Fabulous hotel, great location, not pretentious, gorgeous garden and small pool. GREAT lunch outside. Super quiet and comfortable. This was not a cheap hotel, but it is super nice and was worth it for our final night in Tuscany. Also, it is on the edge of Florence but super close to the river and other attractions, so easy to get to the airport in the AM from a traffic standpoint. Great local restaurant nearby and small shops for leather and things. About 5 minutes to Arno and Westin Excelsior hotel. The pizza and salad at lunch was the best we had, NOT a typical hotel meal.

  Superbe hôtel bien placé avec petit jardin et petite piscine. Mais reposant car un peu à l'écart. Accessible en voiture mais attention à la ZTL, demander à la réception de neutraliser votre amende en appelant la réception. Je l'ai fait à chaque déplacement pour venir et repartir de l'hôtel et n'ai eu aucune amende. Superbe chambre avec balcon sur jardin et magnifique salle de bain avec lumières de couleurs dans la douche..top.

  J'ai passé 4 nuits dans cet hotel et pour un 5 étoiles je suis assez déçue... Personne ne m'avait prévenu que la piscine serait fermée mais surtout pas entretenue ni nettoyée, comme le jardin qui l'entoure, je trouve ça très moyen pour ce type de standing. Petit déjeuner buffet et service à table pour boissons chaudes mais pas très qualitatif, par contre assez varié et il était possible de faire ses propres gauffres. Le personnel est présent et attentif. La chambre était très sympa, spacieuse et jolie déco. Mais pas de vue exceptionnelle et de la moisissure dans la salle de bain, encore une fois moyen pour un 5 étoiles. Et lorsque je prenais ma douche l'eau coulait tout le long malgré la présence de la vitre. L'hôtel reste dans l'ensemble très jolie mais selon moi il y a des choses à revoir pour ce standing. Point positif l'hôtel propose un service de navette jusqu'à 21h pour vous ramener au centre ville.
