  The accommodations were beyond our expectations! The customer service from reservations to check out. The staff is always courteous and accommodating. The room amazing!! We got an end unit with a balcony. It was a very pleasant and unexpected surprise! The room was top-notch. It was the perfect place for our celebration.

  I understand housekeeping needs to get there job done, but for guest who are staying for one night I will prefer for them to check those room after check out time and not try to open the room doors and wake the guest! Thanks

  The room/bathroom was clean, and I felt safe. There were plenty of condiments and coffee. The bathroom was well supplied with towels and toiletries. The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet.

  I would stay here again. I was able to check-in early but the person working reception was not very nice about it. He was not mean but wasn't friendly either. I would describe his attitude as a little snobby. The room was very nice but it took forever for the water to come out of the faucets hot. I think the person who stayed before me clogged the toilet because it flushed but the water would rise every time. To be fare I didn't ask if either of these issues could be addressed. I generally do not like to have to change rooms after I check-in.

  Room was filled with dust and the TV wasn't working. The landlines phone is also broken, the maintenance couldn't fix the issue. My 3months old was sick with dust allergies. Definitely don't recommend , it's not worth your money.

  The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and made you feel welcome. The only issues I have with this property was the run down condition of the room I feel the maintenance staff needs work to fix the issues in the building.

  The rooms are clean including the conference room. Hotel staff at front desk are friendly and helpful. My room is on the side facing US 101 and is a little noisy (not too bad). It'd have been great if room service had provided an extra bottle of shampoo and body wash (my friend and I struggled to share one tiny bottle of each). Overall value is good. I'll surely recommend it.

  We stayed with family for the Thanksgiving holiday week. It was very good, and there was good common areas to use. There were conventions coming through, and lots of air crews. Overall it was good, but the pool was freezing.

  I with IHG for a long time. But my last 2 times stay (booked in Jan, Stayed March 2022 and May 2022) in Holiday Inn Express & Suites Santa Ana - Orange County got me very scarred. Most things broken for more than 2 months (Elevator , Pool...). No basic service at all. So come to this one I was very nervous. I thing give a try before I quite IHG. This hotel ensured me everything works. I was happy I did. they meet the standard as IHG I used to know. I think I'll keep IHG. They did good job. NEVER stay Holiday Inn Express & Suites Santa Ana - Orange County!!! very bad!!!

  It was ok, but main concern is that the room was not cleaned once I arrived. My stay was for 3 days and the bed was never made, bathroom never cleaned. Informed staff and was told "sorry" they would try to get to it.

  Set up last min for 27th wedding anniversary, staff was awesome, room was perfect, very relaxing hotel, great bar with dancing. Prices for drinks was fair music was right on really enjoyed ourselves. Will definetly be returning to dance again

  Crown Plaza Foster City is a good facility, well priced and perfectly fine rooms. Food at their restaurant if fine, and there is a very good Applebees within walking distance. The hotel attracts a busy event business so be sure you are comfortable with whatever is at the hotel when you will be sharing the facility.

  My company is in the hotel's vicinity and provides a very important business to Crowne Plaza Foster City. Unfortunately Business Travelers from high volume companies do not receive courtesy breakfast vouches anymore.

  This was a good location. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean which are the most important things to me. We had some minor inconveniences that were a hassle that were not fully rectified. Walls are a bit thin we could hear everything in the room next to us. The hotel was a bit hot and humid inside. We probably would not stay here again.

  Decent. More like a holiday inn though in terms of technology, entertainment and other amenities. I remember the days where 4 stars have done a lot better. Specially Crown Plaza. Post Covid I believe service industry in general has gotten a lot worse.

  I stayed at this place for one weekend with my wife and two kids and as the room we got had a common door with an adjacent room, though it was closed still could hear if somebody talks from adjacent room and there were people fighting and being loud and noisy and my kids could not sleep. When i called the front desk and very respectfully asked for help, they not only refused to help but replied in a very rude and offensive tone and after repeatedly asking for help they said they sent security but nothing changed. Then when i approached a guy at the front desk he just handed me a card with customer care number on it.

  I was able to book a two night stay at a great price. We had a comfortable room. We ate dinner in the Club Bistro. The food was delicious. We stayed for the music and the DJ was good. The property is conveniently located to a strip mall and many restaurants. I have stayed here many times and I always received courteous service. I highly recommend Crowne Plaza in Foster City.

  the hotel is very worn. Too many things are broken and have been for many weeks. The rooms are not cleaned daily unless you negotiate with the front desk. The food is poor and certainly nothing like the photographs in the elevators advertising it.

  I only stayed one night at the hotel as I was traveling for work and we had a training session in one of the meeting rooms. The staff were all helpful and friendly and the added touches for IHG Rewards Club Members were appreciated. My room was lovely and the bed was incredibly comfortable, I'd definitely stay here again and highly recommend the hotel to other travellers.

  Stayed for a wedding. The room was clean and comfortable. For the price you’d think they would have included a breakfast. The breakfast cost was $20 and nothing special powdered scrambled eggs and the same items that I’ve found at breakfast bars where the breakfast was included. Usually walked to Panera for breakfast.

  I am a platinum elite IHG member and I enjoy staying at IHG hotel wherever I travel. This hotel is one of the worst IHG hotels I stayed in. The room was dirty and the TV and phone did not work. Moreover, the floor manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. Even though this hotel has a great location, I would not stay here again.

  I stayed at this hotel often before covid and this is my first return. The hotel is clean and quiet as usual. It took a bit back and forth to get the diamond breakfast. Breakfast does not change much from day to day, although overall offering is adequate and tasty. The room assigned was facing highway so the first night was a bit noisy. I was able to switch to the other side the second night. Housekeeping was on demand and I opted not to use it during the stay. It is nice that each floor is equipped with microwave and corridors well aired. The gym is very clean and functional. Before covid, I was able to get upgrade almost every stay, but now with new benefits (breakfast) it was not offered and I did not bother to ask.

  This is a great hotel with friendly staff. However, I booked this hotel specifically because their website/listing said there was a shuttle to/from the hotel. It wasn't until the night before the cancellation deadline that I received an email that casually mentioned the shuttle was out of service. As I was traveling with my young children, this was really frustrating. Also, there is a Japanese restaurant that was listed on their website but turns out it is permanently closed.   I was looking for a hotel closer to SFO airport during our vacation in the bay area. Most other hotels near the airport charge a ridiculous fee for parking but Crowne Plaza does not. The hotel is located off of the 92 freeway from the main 101 route. It is in a very nice secluded area with some good shopping and dining options. We were given a room in the executive building which is separated away from the main tower. The biggest disappointment was that even being a IHG Platinum member, I was not given any welcome as such or offered any room upgrade. Instead, we were given a typical room on the 2nd floor of the executive building. Nothing is included in the stay even as a elite member such as breakfast. The staff at the front reception never provided any sense of welcome to us in my several visits to the desk.

  two adults, two kids, only two towels and additional towels took 1.5 hours to arrive. Fold out couch with no blankets or pillows. Mind you, our original room with two beds was located above the club so we downgraded at the same cost to a room that wasn't ideal. Blankets and pillows for fold out couch took 1.5 hours to arrive. Front desk, when called for an update, told me they were swamped and couldn't give me one. Not a good stay, would recommend another hotel if traveling with family.

  The main building is nice but needs some updating. The shuttles are not running even though hotel information states they are. The executive lounge area is closed at this time as well. The Tokyo Village restaurant appears to be closed for long term as well. The rooms are in decent condition and beds are nice. Many ice machines were not working so had to go to different floors to get ice.

  Swimming Pool and Jacuzzi were not clean, it was dirty and debris in the bottom of the pool and Jacuzzi . Jacuzzi jets were only three of them working and bubbles looks grey to black was not clean at all. In fact me and y wife started t itch after we used it. I contacted the front desk and informed them and they said they will send maintenance personnel to clean it. It should've been closed with this condition. Also coffee machine was not working inn my room and called the front desk and they send e another one to my room

  The room price was higher than expected, especially since breakfast is not included. I have stayed 20 times or more at this property and a discount rate should be offered for my loyalty. The restaurant options are limited. The Japanese restaurant has been closed for 2 years and there is no coffee shop.

  Positive: Beds were full, not queen size. Rooms very small and not updated. Overall not what I expected for a 3.5* hotel. Negative: Pool area dirty and no towels. Many people crowded into hot tub and blasting their music, drinking and eating Costco pizzas. Not family friendly at all.

  The CP in Foster City/San Mateo met all the criteria one would wish for a top hotel without paying 5-star prices. The location near San Francisco but very accessible to the San Mateo bridge to go to the East Bay avoiding the always crowded Bay Bridge is excellent. The appearance and maintenance were also excellent. I was also pleased to note that the majority of the staff from service to front desk reflected the diversity of the local population and were tops in their professional conduct. We only had breakfast which was also very good. Parking was ample and free in a covered space. Overall, I highly recommend this venue and I am a fairly picky traveler.

  My room was in descent condition. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean on arrival. My negatives were the lack of staff coming to my room when requesting toiletries, toilet paper, and clean shower towels. I went out during the day and they could of been dropped off anytime during the day .

  Lo elegimos por estar en un punto medio de todos los lugares que visitaríamos. Al ingresar nos pareció excesiva la espera en la fila del mostrador para hacer check-in, y la decoración general del lugar no auguraba lo que en realidad vendría. Disfrutamos mucho la habitación, las camas muy cómodas, al igual que la ducha, la caja de seguridad muy practica al ser de cajón y no de puerta. El personal del restaurante, particularmente Javier, nos hicieron sentir perfectamente bien atendidos con una actitud casi familiar. El acceso desde el estacionamiento muy práctico, después de una jornada de paseo y compras, la llegada a la habitación bastante cómoda gracias a la rampa y el elevador, en todos los días de nuestra estancia, el amplio estacionamiento nos permitió encontrar un lugar cercano a la puerta, a pesar de viajar en una camioneta grande.

  My experience at this hotel was not the best. Where can I start? When I checked in and was provided my room key at the front desk, I went to my room just to notice that it was in front of the elevator and directly in front of the vending machine. I had to take all of my luggage downstairs and ask for another room. The room I was then put in was not clean (there was hair on the floor, blood on my pillow), the toilet ran really slow and almost flooded at one point, the air conditioner was really loud (I had to turn the temp up just to keep the noise down), there is no room service (you have to go pick up your food downstairs if you order it and make arrangements with the front desk if you want them to clean your room), the walls are very thin (you can hear the person next door to you). I asked for a replenishment of shower gel and they provided me a bag of used shower gel (the seal was broken on quite a few of them), the sheets were not soft at all and the room was a bit outdated. There are no USB ports and the bathtub slowly drained water (I stood in a puddle each time I took a shower). The only plus was the dining service personnel. They were nice. Other than that, my experience was not good and I will not be booking this hotel in the future.

  In a word, our stay was disappointing. The desk personnel were helpful and pleasant except that while they were intent on describing the availability of the restaurant and bar, they neglected to tell us that there was no housekeeping service unless we asked so our room was not made up when we returned the first evening. The room was certainly clean but small and any noise or talking in adjacent rooms was a problem in the evenings. And while minor I suppose, two of the 3 bottles of bath amenities were less than half full indicating they had been used by prior guests. Breakfast was average and service was fine but the coffee was awful. Please find another brand. I expected more from an IHG hotel so will return to my other hotel brand where consistency is key and the coffee is good.

  The bed was comfortable, and the room a decent size. Staff was OK and friendly, except for an upper management honcho who did nothing to resolve a bad Bistro experience where I waited and waited, but got no service. Most annoying was the building has poor insulation between rooms (sitting in your living space, you can hear the next room over relieving themselves in bathroom) so you are at the mercy of adjacent guests for quiet. The tub and toilet drained poorly. The tub didn't drain due to a wad of hair in the drain that maintenance couldn't figure out, leaving it to me to resolve. Toilets had high volume of water, but it just didn't move. TVs are outdated, and premium content, HBO, is intermittent and movies don't work. No channel listings guide. TV remote sucked. Food advertised in elevators not actually available. Pool was closed with no sign of opening anytime soon. Room was clean, but cleaning staff did not wear masks for Covid protection for guests.

  We selected the Crowne Plaza Foster City based on general amenities, closeness to the San Francisco airport and general reputation. We were not disappointed with our choice. The staff made us feel at home from the very beginning and offered us a great and silent room since we needed to sleep before traveling the next day. The room was clean and comfortable. We had time for a quick breakfast before leaving for our trip. In short, everything went perfect!

  The restaurant was very good and the interior decoration of the hotel was amazing especially at the restaurant. We only had breakfast at the restaurant so we can say that it was good. Just make sure you ask them to cook your bacon into crispy. If you are looking for a place to stay just for one night before your flight, I wouldn't recommend to stay here because it's a little too far from the international airport. There will be no restaurants nearby so we went to Burlingame for dinner which was awesome, but we realized it was too far. I heard there are good restaurants in town but we we were not able to try it. There are parks just walking distance from the hotel such as Bay Wind's Park, Windsurf Point, Dog's Park that are really cool because you will be walking right along the bay and there were lots of surfers. It was all beautiful.

  The hotel is in a safe area of the Bay. There is ample shopping within walking distance and you can park for free on the premises. Those are all in the pro column. However… when I arrived to the property one whole half of the building looked like a fallout shelter. The hotel windows were open and curtains blowing in the breeze. If I didn’t know better it looked like a zombie apocalypse or something. They were doing renovations apparently in one part of the building, but that wasn’t clear from the description when I made the decision to stay there. Upon entering the building, the carpets were kind of gross in the banquet or reception room one had to enter through from the parking lot. It looked pretty dated. The main reception area was fine but not what I expected either. The young lady at the front desk was kind but couldn’t find my reservation, told me I probably made my reservation at the other Crowne Plaza across town, and I had to pull up the app on my phone to show her I had not. She found my reservation and gave me my room key. I asked if I had prepaid for breakfast because I forgot and she looked briefly and said no. I went to my room, looked at the app, and turns out… yes, I had. I went back downstairs where she apologized and gave me my tickets. There was no buffet, which I prepaid for, it was a served breakfast - which I found out the next morning - and it was not great. The room itself was fine. Clean enough. Semi updated. The hotel on the whole was not. It seemed unclean in the most common areas. I thought the sheets were so scratchy I constantly woke up throughout the night scratching my arms and legs because they just itched from the linens. Given the opportunity I would stay in this area again, but not at this hotel. They charge the premium price but do not deliver.

  This place was central to the places we wanted to visit. Easy to drive to. Did I mention the no parking fee? There’s no parking fee. The hotel room was clean. The bed was just the right amount of firm. Our bathroom had a bit of slow drain but it was clean. The hotel mandated mask wearing and encouraged social distancing. It wasn’t crowded at all. And they had hand sanitizers around the foot traffic areas. Overall I would def stay here again.

  There were three issues that detrimentally affected our stay. First, we were not informed that we would receive no room service unless we specifically asked for it, which we only found out after getting back late our first full day and discovering that we had not received the service . I then requested it at the front desk that next morning as we headed out for the day. We had no clean towels at that point, and we were never given wash clothes. Still no service when we returned late that day. I went to the front to let them know they had not followed through, not even with clean towels. Their response about half an hour later was a light knock on the door to our room. When we opened the door, no one was there. Instead, there was a large trash bag filled with towels, bath mats, hand towels, and wash clothes sitting in front of the door. Second, we had virtually no cold water at either the sink or the tub. And the hot water was scalding hot. I found that during one shower, the water suddenly changed to a comfortable temperature, but the change was arbitrary. I mentioned this issue to the front desk when I asked about the lack of room service and was told that they would have the building engineer work on it while we were out that day. There was no evidence that anything had been done that day and we continued to have scalding hot water from both hot and cold valve settings untill we left. Third, and the least of the issues, most channels on our television only showed a gray screen for the first two days and worked the last night we were there. On the upside, the restaurant was terrific, as both the food and service were above our expectations. I would gladly eat there again. I just won't stay at the hotel ever again.

  The hotel is beautiful, located in San Mateo, 15 minutes from SFO. Rented a car from SFO and was easy to get to the hotel. Staff was great. Very clean and beautiful hotel. The hotel did have beautiful plants and waterfalls and streams but there was no water running which I was disappointed because the website showed all these beautiful pictures of the hotel and was different when we arrived. Bedroom was neatly made when arrived, and clean as well as the bathroom. As soon as we got to the hotel I showered and the shower knob was very lose and hard to maneuver around. Also the water was cold, even when I had the knob all the way to hot, I decided to shower again that night and the water was still the same. The tv is the room was hard to use because there was no guide button, there was but the front desk said they took the cable out due to the pandemic. Hotel was located in a great spot, with shopping and restaurants near by and access to plently of other towns. I would definitely recommend this hotel

  Really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The beds were comfortable, I have medical coniditions and bed comfort is a major factor when I travel. I slept great! I really liked the free parking, a huge plus. The hotel is in a great neighborhood in close proximity to the airport, the city, and the beach. We ordered breakfast from the restaraunt and the food and service were great. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The price was very reasonable, the property was clean (and I am very maticulous with cleanliness), I would definitely stay here again!

  Personnel agréable et bienveillant. Chambre propre et assez silencieuse. Produits d'accueil très satisfaisants et propreté de la salle de bain irréprochable. Je regrette l'absence d'un guest shop comme annoncé, la non ouverture du café Florian . Rapport qualité prix assez décevant.

  Mal de dos assuré après une semaine sur place. Lit très épais mais la molesse vous fait dormir très mal.
