The service we received from the gentleman for breakfast service was awesome. He was very nice and asked if we had everything we needed. He even showed us were to fill up our water bottles. His generosity made our day.

Paying three times the cost of the room more than other area hotels, I expected much more. I might as well have spent the night in a "Super 8". This experience and the hotel itself was a great disappointment.

Either House keeping or maintenance has zero integrity as my boots were stolen from my room. The worst part is after I submitted a complant, I never heard nor saw a manager when I was still a guest for four days after I submitted the complaint.

The room was great; the exercise room was great; the breakfasts were absolutely wonderful; and the service I asked for from employees was provided quickly. They did keep things clean to avoid COVID-19 - just be aware that New Mexicans in general don't wear masks much anymore given that they were required to wear masks indoors for the last year and that restriction was lifted just before our stay. In addition to previous reviews saying "bring earplugs" (the hotel is right next to I-25 and thus you can hear road noise), I would add, "bring a sleep mask" because the darkening curtains were a little ripped, they were not able to repair them, and thus there was some light in the room. (Fortunately, we did bring sleep masks, so, no big deal.) Also, note that although they advertise and show a picture of the lobby showing a PC with printer so you can "connect and print", that computer was down for the entire length of our stay (one week in February, 2022). The room and price are great and the service is about as good as can be expected given the great labor shortage of 2020 - 2022. I believe this hotel is a good choice if you need a place to stay in the Las Cruces area.

I have stayed in this hotel frequently for the last 5 years. Prior to COVID it was a simple but pleasant experience. After COVID the service quality specially in the breakfast area has clearly declined.

Front desk was professional and accommodating in every way! Breakfast was delicious especially the coffee. Pool is outdoor but heated which was a huge hit for my kids! Housekeeping really goes above and beyond to ensure cleanliness! Awesome hotel! Would highly recommend

I had high expectations from a Marriott branded hotel and was unimpressed by the quality of the stay. The room was dirty especially the sink and shower. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. Try a different place next time will not be coming back.

We had a great experience from start to finish. Excellent communicate by our contact Belle from setting up our large group reservation. Check-in was the quickest and most well organized check-in I have had leading a group, all keys and room assignments were waiting when we walked in the door. Rooms were clean and quiet, breakfast had some healthy options. We will be back and look at Fairfield first for all of our tournaments. Thank you for a seamless experience.

A typical modern efficient hotel my stay at the Las Cruces Fairfield hotel was uneventful. I stayed one night on my road trip to return home to Glendale, Arizona from a visit with my daughter and her husband in Dallas. Since my stay was only a few hours, the only amenity that I used was the breakfast buffet, which was average, nothing exceptional. Generally I prefer to stay in an all-suite hotel, but nearly always a Marriott property. I fin Marriott always clean and well maintained.

I was a bit disappointed. We had not stayed at a Fairfield Inn before but I did expect a little better accommodation. The pros: The bed and TV were fine, great to have the microwave and mini fridge as well. HVAC worked well also. Shower was good. The staff were all courteous, friendly, and responsive. The Cons: the room was pretty cramped, especially the bathroom. Way too small for a Marriott affiliate. Even one person is cramped at the sink. No night light in the bathroom either. We had no hand towels and face cloths, my wife had to go down and get them. The hot breakfast was pretty bad. The scrambled eggs were so salty me or my wife could not eat them. The cold breakfast items were OK. The coffee was not hot and I had to ask it to be refilled when I went back for more.

Overall the hotel was clean and some staff attentive. Tub drain was clogged twice and informed staff but took 2 days to clean out. Jason at the front desk was good. The cleaning staff was attentive in getting the maintenance guy on it. Could use larger refrigerator and outdoor grills to accommodate longer stays.

Was new to the city and had an extended stay. The staff immediately had my room ready and presented me with options that suited my schedule for meals, laundry, room service. Even helped with the best spots to see, go and eat in town...car washes too. And then the room was always clean with an amazingly soft bed and a television (unfortunately I couldn't connect/cast to it for work. And the location was close to everything and yet it was always quiet...after a hard day if work I always woke rested here.

If you don't care about getting any sleep, this is the hotel for you. All of the even number rooms face a busy highway. Plus, there is literally no soundproofing with the windows. I would not recommend this.

The pandemic seemed to be used as a pretext for consistently poor service. We were told that we'd receive room cleaning upon request; however, most requests were ignored two to three times in a row. My room had a walk-in shower, and the shaving cream I used in the shower was NEVER completely cleaned off of the shower floor. I asked to have a burned out light bulb changed in the lamp on the nightstand. This was ignored for two days in a row. Front Desk staff seemed very upset by this. I don't blame them at all for the problems. I know that they consistently asked both Maintenance and Housekeeping to do things that were never done. I happened to get back to the hotel early one day before Maintenance left, so the young man at the Front Desk was able to get Maintenance into my room to change the lightbulb. My first room had a bathtub with a hole in the porcelain. That bathtub should be replaced, and the room should NOT be rented. My second room had a toilet that often would not flush. Maintenance supposedly repaired the toilet twice, but I discovered that the toilet would only flush if no toilet paper was used. Even the smallest amounts of toilet paper would back up. This was disturbing. I finally moved to a third room for my last two or three nights. On the first night in my third room, I got into bed and felt grit and dirt on the sheets! Clearly, housekeeping did not bother to change the sheets between guests. I was so tired of complaining that I decided to move over to the clean side of the bed and slept there for the remainder of my stay. I have never before encountered such things in ANY hotel. The breakfast choices were very sub standard compared to every other Fairfield Inn I have ever stayed at. The food was usually cold, so I stopped eating it early in my stay.

We had a good stay. Front desk workers were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean! We know that the complimentary breakfast looks a little different due to COVID, but we were given the hours and when we arrived at 7:30, which should’ve been an hour into service, it wasn’t ready. We ended up eating cereal and left. Other than that, the stay was good!

Upon checking into the hotel I was greeted and thanked for being a Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite member. I appreciate the recognition, because I have not always received courteous service at other Marriott properties. The staff for the most part was very courteous and professional. The room was comfortable and fairly clean. Nice amenity with pool and workout room. Hotel is conveniently located off the highway and was a good value for the money. The only thing lacking at the property was the breakfast and one of the dining staff. I understand that due to Covid that the property is limited to what they can serve. But the food was not even hot. And the first morning we were served by a courteous employee. Unfortunately the next morning there was no one serving food, and I simply asked the dining hall employee if he was serving the food, and his reply was, "you can get it yourself." Not very professional. But I did not let one employee impact my overall opinion of the property.

This is the midway point for our California to Texas trip and I’m glad I found it. The other areas in town are older and not very safe but this is a whole newer area that is surrounded by great food/coffee/gas The place was very understaffed and the guy checking us in had his hands full. He was SO friendly and funny and accommodating. Made us feel very welcome and could ask him for anything. The rooms were nice but the breakfast was VERY limited even for hotel standards. The gym was small and dirty.. but we made due. Would definitely stay here again for a quick one nighter. Wish the staff could always be that friendly!

Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Staff were professional and excellent communicators. They were the best part of my stay. The hotel location is fine, as the layout of roads in this part of Las Cruces preclude quick and easy access off of FWY 25 and Hwy 70. Not a big deal though. The hotel décor is dated and in desperate need of an update. Color choices and the color of lighting within the hotel leaves much to be desired. Hotel maintenance could be better, as I had light bulbs out in the room and the towel rack was pulled out of the wall in the bathroom, but it was functional-ish. Would I stay there again? Meh...

Outstanding staff, beautifully appointed rooms that are clean and inviting. Amazingly clean bathroom with plenty of soft fluffy towels. Comfy bed with crisp fresh sheets. With a HOT breakfast (ok so it was only cheese omelets and yummy bacon, but they were hot!). I love that everything worked (fantastic maintenance person). The only complaint I have is that it's a bit inconvenient to make your guests ask for coffer for the in room coffee maker, when cheaper and inferior hotels put it in the room automatically).

Fairfield Inn Las Cruces is a good place to stay. It’s clean and budget friendly. With the pandemic, this hotel definitely will make you feel comfortable and safe with their implementation of social distancing, masking, and having hand sanitizers everywhere. Will definitely stay again if I get around this area.

Check-in staff was very fast and efficient. There were no set of towels available when we got inside our room. The lady that helped us checked-in provided us the towels. Please make sure that every time a new guest arrived to replace the inner lining of the bath curtains. Our bath liner was brown and stinky, so gross! We requested to have it replaced the next morning and tidy up our room. When we got back to our room, our bath liner was taken out but not replaced, no set of towels and the room was not tidied up. We told the staff about the bath liner so we could take a shower but they were all locked in a room and they don't have access to it. We talked to the Manager the next morning and she apologized. Besides that it was a great location, office staff was great but housekeeping could be better.

The hotel is nice, but don't get a room facing the highway. There is too much noise. Get a room on the other side of the hotel. Can't wait for the 'pandemic' to end so we can enjoy the breakfast instead of getting a bagged one.

The service when I checked in was poor. The guy was not friendly even after I tried to converse. The room was clean but it was dated. I was surprised that there were not any USB plugs. Thank goodness I grabbed my plug before I left my house. The carpet in the room was sticky. I normally do not walk around barefoot however, I walked from the bathroom to the bed area after my shower and my feet were sticking to the carpet. The breakfast was average. The only reason I would stay here again would be to save a few bucks and because it is a pet free hotel. You get what you pay for.

Belle was fantastic in helping to make this work. I had a very last minute trip to visit my Father who had just gone into Hospice care a few blocks from this hotel. I had not had a chance to make a reservation and began to panic. I don't know how she did it but she put me on hold for about 5 minutes and came back with a solution and they allowed me to check in early. This saved me so much commute time and gave me more time with my Dad. I was incredibly appreciative for her kindness and empathy.

Desk Clerk Mandy was very nice and checked in quickly, gave shaving kit since ours was forgotten. Already provided extra pillows. Put us in a room away from traffic and slept great. Room was nice and clean. In morning breakfast was good variety. Lady attending was sweet as pie. Came around and asked if we needed anything and then even surprised us by looking up a Pecan place after we had inquired. Close to restaurants / shopping. Seemed like nice safe area. Would for sure stay again. A+

The Fairfield Inn Las Cruces went about and beyond my expectations. After a series of mediocre hotel stays, I was extremely delighted when I found out that this hotel had complimentary hot breakfast, free parking, swimming pool, and Netflix hook-up. The bedding was fresh and extremely comfortable. It's also located very conveniently near a bunch of restaurants and shopping centers. It is about a 45 minute drive to White Sands National Monument. I would 10/10 recommend this place.

Among the many Marriott Hotels in the Las Cruses area, the Fairfield Inn is one of the best ones. Both for the amenities and the points. I have stayed at many of them and this could be the best one in the area. Its clean, quite and comfortable. Not the must up to date Marriott or luxurious one but it does the job. I'm here on business from time to time and the rooms are nice, the breakfast is quick and nutritious and its located near many restaurants and right off the freeway. Once again its not super fancy but it gets the job done for a really good price and i get the most Marriott rewards points for each stay.

I have stayed at this location multiple times for business and leisure. I'm always happy to bring my family with me on weekend visits with friends and their family. This hotel is very accommodating and the staff is eager to help with myself and my family's needs. Very pleasant staff, the rooms and accommodations are well maintained, great continental breakfast and pleasant atmosphere. For a small city like Las Cruces, NM this location provides all the amenities a traveler would expect from a larger market.

This is a top-notch facility with excellent staff! Nice breakfast, everything was clean and spotless, comfortable beds & pillows. BUT, do not get a room by the elevator. The elevator alarm sounded like it's inside the room when it went off for a couple of minutes, and the room & bathroom are very small and cramped because the elevator is actually cut out of the normal space for a room!

I had a great stay. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The tub is a by slippery, even with the mat down, so just be cautious of that. Breakfast was fairly disappointing. Having stayed in many fairfields previously, I have a general idea of what to expect, but the eggs were awful and the fruit was hard as a rock. Would definitely stay again, and just stick to the waffles and fruit.

Everything was good with this hotel. Clean rooms, good breakfast and comfortable beds. Our only hiccup was with the management of the pool. It was hit and miss as to when it was open. One day, after a long day outside in 100+ degree weather, we were looking for a nice swim. Getting back to the hotel, they had closed the pool because there were non-guests swimming in it. Rather than addressing that issue, the staff just closed the pool. This was very disappointing. Other than that, it was a good stay.

This hotel is easy to get to. Staff is amazing. They are friendly, helpful and prompt. Love the breakfast spread in the morning- there is something for everyone! Small laundromat on site. Small but nice pool. Comfortable beds with clean linens. Internet that works. There's even cute little bunnies that live outside on the property. Check in and out process is simple and stress free. I'd definitely stay again which I actually did when some campground reservations fell through.

Easy on/off the main road to get to the hotel. Just avoid trying to get there when people are trying to get hope late afternoon, quite a bit of traffic. Restaurant near by and stores for people who like to shop. Give them an A+

Average stay nothing was special besides the service checking in the lady was sincere and helpful. The maid service is not that great, they do not restock on cups nor do they change your sheets even if you don't put the paper saying not to change it there was an obvious stain on the side of my bed when I arrived and it was never changed, could have been better. The smell in the sink area and bathroom smelled like throw up also but I did not address it since I was not in my room much. Things to consider.

The staff at this location were very attentive. When I had a problem with the air conditioner in my room not properly cooling, they promptly fixed it the next day, and checked back with me that I was satisfied. The morning breakfast spread was very tasty and varied, with very cheery attendants. This was one of the quietest hotels I've stayed at, and I was on the second floor (which is often noisy). The front desk clerks were very accommodating to us when we arrived the first day very early for check in. This is a highly recommended hotel.

We've had our fair share of staying at Fairfileds throughout the country. This particular one in Las Cruces I hope was just having a bad weekend. The bathroom was clean, however we had trouble flushing the toilet throughout our stay. Furthermore our breakfast experience was very poor. I took my family downstairs to eat with 30 minutes still to spare and found literally crumbs to eat. It looked like as if this area was raided. I spoke with a staff member and all she had to offer was a large group ate all the food. Didn't offer to make anymore food, I get it, waste is major concern for a hotel, however I am a paying guest and chose this hotel because they offered breakfast. Poor experience...

The staff at this hotel was very kind and made checking in and checking out very easy. The Continental Breakfast was one of the better ones I've had. They had non-lactose milk options which was very important to me. I know weird but it's the small things that make me happy. The room was very nice, very clean. The pool was very clean and very easy to access. The only thing I would say that was a disappointment was the market. It wasn't fully stocked and we were forced to go find convenience markets to stock our room refrigerator. The only time that was sort of problematic was when we checked in. We checked in late at night due to a long drive. I had to go back out and get beverages/snacks. It was my first time staying in Las Cruces. No vending machines on site. Other than that, I would definitely say this is a place you should check out if you are planning on staying in Las Cruces.

This hotel was under renovation -- the main lobby at least. A desk clerk said it would be completed in about two weeks. Breakfast was served in what would otherwise have been a regular room, but the staff made it work. The staff was very helpful. Our GPS went on the fritz, and the night clerk stayed on the phone until we arrived (several minutes). The room we stayed in was excellent -- clean, well stocked with towels, etc., bathroom clean. Everything in the room worked. Breakfast was everything we could have asked for -- eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, coffee, etc. We'll definitely stay here again and will be interested to see how the renovation is coming (in about a week).

No one was ever there during out stay! I just want to say thank uou for the only staff member that was working hard in providinf 100% of our stay but unfortunately he worked the 10pm shift on friday July 3rd, and not during the day when we could of actually gotten out things we requested from front desk. He was awesome and had hot chocolate and very helpful. Very polite and always saying if we needed anything to please come see him. My room was never clean. No one ever in the front d esk when needed something as waited with others too! No towels! Really! Breakfast staff were good always kept clean, although the food kind of low quality. But the ladies made it ok because of how efficient they were in replacing everything when finishing.

Recently updated rooms with very modern clean feel. Beds are comfortable, staff is friendly and great, and AC works great. Only issue I had was Marriotts nasty scrambled eggs and watered down sausage. I travel for business so it's pretty much the same at all the lower end Marriotts but with that being said...maybe some real scrambled eggs and some better protein (meat) would be nice to kick off a busy work day.

The Manager and "ALL" of his staff are extremely professional and polite. The property and it's amenities are very well maintained. I am looking forward to coming back here for my next visit to Las Cruces. Suzanna went out of her way to help me with answers and advice about the area. Her personality and customer relations skills are magnificent. She is a great asset to the Hotel. Thanks again to Luis and all his staff for a wonderful stay. I will be back!

My family was traveling across Hwy 10 and we stopped at the Fairfield Inn. We couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. The whole hotel was so beautiful. Both my daughter and granddaughter remarked about how pretty the stairwells were, something very rare. The rooms were big and comfortable even providing an easy chair for reading. The decor was beautiful and the rooms spotless. Even the breakfast was more than we'd expected and the room large enough so nobody was crowded. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. An amazing deal!

Couldn't have improved our time at the Fairfield Inn in Las Cruces. The hotel was perfect for our family's needs and we enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is conveniently located off I-25 in the heart of a wonderful shopping and eating district, just down the street from the mall, and minutes from downtown. Staff was helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. Great value for the lodging dollar. We'll definitely return!

This hotel was EXCELLENT! Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Decor was up to date. The sink was separate from the tub/toilet which I like because it makes it easier for multiple people to get ready in the morning. Nice fitness center and good breakfast.
