  We were upgraded to a larger room on the 4th floor 416 with a small French type balcony overlooking the Rhone River. I slept very well in the quiet room. The staff was very polite and helpful throughout our stay. There is no restaurant at this hotel. Had breakfast delivered to the room the following day and it was uninspiring and forgettable.

  We arrived at the hotel and were very welcome by the staff at reception. Everything was spotless. Lyon is a lovely city to visit and if you like Pairs you will love Lyon. Upon arrival we were given a free upgrade to a junior suite. I would definately visit again but not the Grand Hotel.

  We just can't fault the staff. The room was in decent shape. The entrance to the Grand Hotel was pretty as was the reception area and there was a pretty good breakfast included. I would stay here again though but only use it as a base for sleep and shower.

  The location of the hotel is excellent with easy access to all Lyon has to offer. I stayed in a very small room facing the internal building. We went to our room as we were about to open the chambermaid came running towards us telling us the room was not ready.

  We had booked an ordinary double room, but we we positivelt surprised by the spacious room that we got. I know that there are areas in the hotel, such as carpeting, that could do with replacing but on the whole it is very welcoming and is in an excellent location. A very pleasant experience.

  Did some research and got excellent rates at the hotel's website. We chose a De Luxe room and were not disappointed. The staff were very friendly particularly the bar staff and happily chatted to me in English while I sat at the bar. A to refurbish the entire hotel preserving its old time charm.

  The room and bet were huge. The hotel is centrally located within a walking distance from all major attractions in the city. All sightseeing and shopping and restaurants are within walking distance, as well as the opera house. The Boscolo Grand Hotel is well worth considering as a base.

  I must say that the location of hotel boscolo was excellent. You could actually take a lon walk from the train station Perrache to the hotel. The walk as we soon found out is extremely tiring and not for the faint hearted but worth every single step. The hotel is ok if you get à good price but fram from the grand hotel on the webpage.

  We had such a pleasant time in this city that we wished we had booked more days here and less elsewhere but, that's hindsight. The location is very good and you are right in the new part of the city with most of the shopping district just on your doorstep so this is definitely a positive. The service is excellent.
