Positive: Location Negative: We were there for three nights and never anyone come to a room to give us towels or anything, never had housekeeping come into a room. Had to call up to get towels and took forever to get them. It smelled terrible in the room

Positive: The location was great! Check-in and Check-out staff were great and friendly! Negative: Hotel seemed old on the side where rooms were (Atriums A, B, and C). Also smelled old. Rooms were not up-kept. Some broken tiles in the bathroom. Bathroom also had a lot of little bugs.

Hotel is kind of a mess. I stayed at Four Points Sheraton during our recent heat wave. Check-in experience was subpar and missed information about stay. a previous guests athletic shoes were left in the room. the AC was broken when we came into the room and had to be fixed. Housekeeping never came in three days, despite being requested. lots of things around the hotel are broken (elevator lights, pool timers, tile in the bathroom by the grab bar). the rooms contain no written information explaining hotel policies, restaurant hours, or anything. staff is not very helpful, or is absent.

Great family hotel; located outside Downtown so better options for family dining and attractions. Plus better value compared to downtown. Great staff and very clean, large rooms.

The staff was great the facility and grounds look deserted, broken windows, dead shrubs, spider webs throughout. The room accommodations have old ripped/stained furniture, bathroom fixtures are old with stained rusted tubs. However the rooms were cleaned as best they could considering the hotel condition. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless there was nowhere else to go.

Don't waste your time. This outdated awkwardly designed hotel is disgusting! It stinks, my fridge was not cold, my sink was stopped up and my TV didn't work. I was charged per night for parking, although when I asked, the young lady said i would not be because I was a member. I hated staying on this room with my family didn't feel clean at all.

Very clean and comfortable hotel. It was a cute mini vacation for my husband and I. I was really appreciative of the maintenance staff that patiently assisted me with how to operate the cooling system in my room.

We were disappointed in the Four Points by Sheraton San Diego. Because it is one of the Marriott properties, we were expecting a higher standard of quality. It was a very mediocre hotel. There was no soap at the sink. We were not impressed with the level of cleanliness though we may have been influenced by the poor decor and out-dated appointments. The bathroom sink was cracked. I would not stay again.

The hotel price is very good for the area. It is a nice hotel, but noisy. Every night there was noise and the night attendant didn't want to engage or do anything about it. The front desk attendants are hit and miss on politeness. Some are great, some really miss the mark. When I went to change the card my room was being charged too, the young lady at the desk spoke to me as if I was disturbing her and like I didn't know what I was doing. She knew I was not satisfied with that and then tried to turn it on me like I had a problem. Most unpleasant.

They just need more security in the parking lot. Homeless people and drunk people that makes you scare of entering your room. Staff is great rooms are spacious and nice. Only needs rennovation of matress.

Garbage hotel. Grounds were unkept, air conditioner in our room didn't work and made horrible sounds all night to where we couldn't sleep. Microwave kept tripping the GFI in the restroom. Breakfast was trash, and you have to pay for parking when there is absolutely no point to it.

Positive: There was an incident involving a pipe bomb. The hotel staff failed miserably at protecting their guests by not even trying to alert or otherwise notify them. I was simply told to return to my room, because it was safer there. Not until hours later Negative: When my friend saw on the news and called did I actually find out what happened. Terrible service. Unfriendly staff, thin female specifically. They wrongfully charged me $98.16. The GM assured me it would be refunded. It wasn't and he won't return my call

Positive: The front desk staff at this hotel are very kind, they aren't always on the same page but are polite. I was charged different deposit amounts. Also, had to go down to front desk 10 pm after I showered because I was not checked in correctly. Negative: I stayed here 7 nights, I booked a double bed room yet never got it. I stayed in two rooms the first room was not cleaned great the second was cleaned better, yet smelled like mold in the bathroom, room service woke me up at 8 am to check out 3 times.

I tried to check in early because I had arrived earlier than expected, however when I called the front office, they told me I could not be checked in early because they were auditing, and the auditing would not be done until 8-9 am; I called at 4:30 am so I thought this was too long of a time for an audit. I ended up not checking in early because the time it was ready would be the time my event would begin. I also asked about how much the charge would be to check in early and front desk could not give me an amount. All they said is that it would be a certain percentage, but they don't know the amount, I found it astonishing that their staff is not aware of their own rates. I also found it very disappointing to know that I had to PAY for parking even though I am already paying to stay there. That was extremely ridiculous and because of this experience I would not be coming back, nor will I recommend people to go to a place that charges for everything and can't even assist you with checking in early when needed. My family and I had to park in a park to get some rest before our event.

The service was excellent; the room was not. The room had cracks in the tub and sink. The gap between the floor and door to the suite was large enough that we could hear people outside and they could probably hear us in our room. There was also nothing provided in the room besides hand towels, provided in every other Marriott-associated hotel I've stayed in. I might be back if there was a great deal on a room/based on the quality of service from associates, but not based on the room at all. Maybe it was an off day/room?

We stayed at Four Points Aero drive for 5days, 4nights (Dec. 27 - Dec. 31). On the night of Dec. 31, I called the front desk saying we want to extend for one more day and check out on January 1st instead. He said I have to rebook again, so I went to the front desk to have them book us for one more night. The guy from the front desk Byron wasn’t very accommodating. He made us feel like we were disturbing him from whatever he was doing in the computer. He said we were all set and already booked. I made it very clear to him if it is possible to stay in the same room so we don’t have to pack and unpack our stuff. He said yes, we will be staying in the same room so don’t worry about our stuff. He told me to go to the front desk the next day to check out and check back in. At around 9:30am the following day, I went to the front desk to check out and re-check in, and the lady said that we are not booked. I told her we settled it the night before cause I don’t want to run in that exact problem, since I work at 10am. I explained that Byron booked us himself and that we are staying in the same room. She said No, we are not booked and we need to vacate the place by 12nn since another customer will check in at our room. She said she will be moving us 2 doors away from our original room. I asked if she can just move the other person there instead since our stuff are not packed and they are exactly similar room, I have to work at 10am and my boyfriend is already at work. Her exact words, “No. Like what I said, I need you to vacate the room by 12nn”. No apologies at all. I was running late to work because of all the mess and my boyfriend was forced to leave work, go back to the hotel to pack our stuff and move 2 doors away. Ridiculous!!! Above all that, no apologies or anything!! Separate incident… since my boyfriend was in a hurry to pack our stuff and he had to go back to work, he left my coat in the closet. I called the front desk night of Dec. 31 to ask if they found it. The lady (Taylor) said no, and that they will be giving me a call before I check out the next day. I told her they might have found it already since another guest already checked in on our original room and they already cleaned the room. She said no, they will give me a call. Next morning on Jan. 1 when I was already checking out, still no call. I asked again the nice gentleman at the front desk, and he called the housekeeping, and just like my thought, it was there!

Stay was going great till the next morning when my children realized that their sheets were never changed. Completely disgusted and will not be staying here again. The sheets had a blood stain and we also noticed that the comforter had dirty spots with hair on it. Also the cArpet was dirty and the bathroom sink was clogged. Do not recommend! And this location also looks a little rundown with old appliances in the room.

Positive: King room originally booked was not available so we were given two queens and parking of $20 was comped. Negative: Dark parking lot, Cigarette burns on the clock radio, one wash cloth for 2 people, leaking ceiling in main entrance, noisy neighbors with baby crying, and additional charge made to my card in error still waiting on refund after they admitted the error.

The staff was friendly, facilities were spacious and clean. Gym 24/7 and laundry facilities as well. I booked last minute here after having visiting another hotel first. The front desk staff at the other hotel were extremely rude, and being a former hotel employee for 6yrs myself, I immediately changed my mind and decided to look for another hotel. Completely different experience at this location! Front desk staff was very courteous and welcoming. The check-in experience was much more welcoming and the staff appeared more jovial. I loved the open design and cleanliness. The land surrounding the hotel is nice as well, perfect for people who do not want to be drowning in city life. I thought breakfast was a little overpriced, but everything in California is more expensive than Illinois so that may just be reflective of the economy there. Parking was reasonably priced. Location-wise, gas stations nearby, and close to the highway. I didn't look for breakfast or eating around the hotel so can't comment on that. There is dining in the hotel though. Overall, great stay! Very satisfied, and will be staying there again should I visit the area.

I got everything I paid for at the Four Points by Sheraton on aero in San Diego. Check in was easy enough, ample parking(paid for or reserved in a bonvoy package). There were some shady characters digging out everything in a beaten-down vehicle in the lot on check in-just be mindful(very open lot). RoomKeyCard access to parking lot entrances (love that) BUT the door I parked near was always left open. Wish there was a coffee pot in the room or single server dealio.

We got flea bites. I understand this is a pet-friemdly hotel, but it doesn't mean cleanliness can be compromised. I think it's even more important for a pet-friendly hotel to take extra steps to clean and sanitize the rooms and bedding. It's obvious that this hotel is not doing enough to make it comfortable for human. It's unfortunate because staff are friendly and location is good.

This was our stay to get ready for a scheduled c-section the next morning. Wish we stayed at home and drove the extra distance early morning. This property is not maintained well and the staff does not recognize or appreciate Elite members. Save your money for a better experience elsewhere.

Positive: The rooms are clean, it is a quiet hotel and staff is wonderful. Very helpful and always smiling and saying good morning. Our room was with an ice bucket and they were very helpful in getting us one. Plus we needed additional towels and it was no issue Negative: The outside has a lot of tree damage and it doesn't look like the place is being maintained. There are leaves everywhere and it is hard to walk on the sidewalks or parking lots. Our room did not have an alarm clock, pen or note pad which is helpful.

This hotel is super clean, friendly staff and delicious breakfast cafe and restaurant ! This hotel is a hidden gem in San Diego ! The front office/ desk staff are amazing & always friendly and helpful . The front office managers have gone out of their way to make my stays comfortable and accommodating. Especially Curtis, the front office manager, is always smiling and efficient with any issue I’ve had . The breakfast at the cafe is delicious, the ladies that work there are super sweet & the cappuccino is the best anywhere ! Everyone is so nice it just feels like home every time I check in. Great central location and reasonable pricing . Thanks for always taking care of us when we are in San Diego!!

I made a reservation at the Four Points by Sheraton San Diego because my family and I would be traveling to the San Diego Safari Park the next day and that was one of the closest Marriott properties that had connecting rooms available. I made a reservation for connecting room because I have two small children (2 year old and 6 month old) and called ahead of time to insure that they connecting rooms would be available. I would not have stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton San Diego if I knew that the connecting rooms were not available. At the time I checked in, there was no one at the front desk and there were several guest waiting. When I checked in, I was informed that connecting rooms were not available even though I called ahead of time. The solution was to be given rooms on the same floor. In one of the rooms, the lamp was broken, the recliner was missing, and lights in the bathroom did not turn on. I would definitely say that there is a lot of room for the Four Points by Sheraton San Diego to improve. I definitely would not recommend this property to any of my family, friends, or colleagues. Do Better Four Points by Sheraton San Diego.

We travel frequently and as our first time really traveling with our toddler we were hopeful that the hotel could accommodate our needs. This was exceeded as our room had double beds even though our reservation was only for 1 and there was more than enough space for our 2 year old to maneuver around as she does without disturbing the other guests. In addition it was very quiet even though there seemed to be a lot of other guests with small children, teenagers, etc. We definitely noticed it was family friendly and the pool was also open for guest use along with the breakfast bar (it is not complimentary though) and as a nice bonus for the adults there is a bar within the hotel. We will definitely stay here again!

The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The front desk and housekeeping staff were polite and professional. Free parking. Also,the pool was clean and we used it a lot. Wished they’d have a bigger gym though. I was very happy with my stay.I will book it again for my next trip to San Diego.

I was notified that my room was ready early, which is a good thing as I was coming from a different area and my room being ready early is never a bad thing. After I had checked in and was in my room I noticed hair that obviously wasn't mine on towels in the bathroom an on the counter. I called guest services and asked for them to be removed. After I returned to the hotel I found that the towels had not been removed even though I was advised that they would be removed immediately and a cleaning person was in the room next to mine when I left. Through out the stay I noticed spider webs throughout the interior and dirty carpet.

Location, entrance and lobby look nice but the cleanliness and state of the place are very poor, specially compared to the prices for the rooms. The jacuzzi was closed, the cafe and bar closed on Sunday so could not get any breakfast on site. The pictures online from the property also did not match what the property looks currently at all. The carpets on the hallway had a strong bad odor and the whole hotel seemed short staffed. Property cleanliness and maintenance were poor and disappointing. Do not recommend.

Everything was great, just one downfall and they had told us they were going to turn on the heater for the pool but then shortly after that later decided to tell us that the general manager did not want them to turn on the heater without any reason why they decided that. We booked a room there specifically for that but nonetheless it was a nice place.

The staff especially Rebecca Duncan and Steve Slack were nothing short of amazing. My husband and I had our wedding on May 28, 2021. They gave us the whole pavilion in order to socially distance our guests and they ensured a proper distance between each guests during the ceremony. Planning a wedding during Covid has been stressful, however, Rebecca and Steve made it all easy for us. They were very understanding of the situation. All of the guests had a great time and kept stating how beautiful the venue was and how much fun they had. Not to mention how accommodating Rebecca was by giving my bridal party a room where everyone can get ready. The complimentary bride and groom suite was amazing as well. We couldn’t have picked a better venue to hold our special day. To Rebecca, Steve and all the staff of four points, thank you so much for all of your hard work and kindness. Our wedding is one for the books because of you all ❤️.

This poor hotel is being ignored by Marriott management. Stained carpeting, run down furniture and abandoned food service facilities. The rooms are pleasant but again really run down. This hotel is falling apart. I felt like I was in the hotel from the movie The Shining. For example, carpeting in the main part of the hotel has stains so large they look like crime scenes. The exterior of the hotel is run down and there are people working on their cars in the parking lot. The rooms look nice until you really start looking. We had two rooms. In the first, the microwave and refrigerator were missing, the shower had virtually no flow, toilet did not flush, the bathroom sink did not drain if the water was running more than 15 sec. Although this didn't affect my stay, it is interesting to note that instead of framing the photographs hanging in the room, someone just cut out a picture and taped it to the top of the picture frame. In the second room, the bath tub stopper did not work, no hair dryer and no ironing board. I hunted down someone from housekeeping and they just pulled both out of a room they were cleaning. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable and the TV was big.

I read a lot of bad reviews from this hotel and I still decided to book it since I had stayed there about 10 years ago. The guy at the front desk was very friendly and even walked with me to the elevator to let me know where everything was. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. I really liked that it had a microwave and refrigerator. The only thing that bothered me was the noise from people was in the hallways downstairs on the ground floor (I was on the third floor). They weren’t being too loud but because of the design of the hotel, the noise tends to echo because of the big halls/walkways. I liked the east access to the freeways. My stay here was great! They have so many rooms, the areas are clean and spacious. You need your room key to enter any building leading to the rooms, which is nice for safety purposes. Room itself was nice, comes with comfortable bed, safe for valuables, fridge, desk, closet, & toiletries if needed etc. only downside was having to pay for parking.

We stayed at this hotel for 5-days. In that time, they never cleaned our room, or removed any trash. They’ve removed the coffee makers and coffee. They only provided 2-bath towels, 2-hand towels and 1-wash cloth for a family of 4. When we requested more towels, they removed ALL of them and gave us 1-bath towel and 1-wash cloth! That was the last straw so we decided to cut our stay short and go home. This hotel was not inexpensive they are still charging full price for the room, plus $15 per day for parking and offer NO services to their guests. They clearly just want to take your money! Although it is close to our Navy family, we will Never waste our time or money at this hotel again. Overall, our expectations of the quality and service of Marriott have been grossly degraded.

The bed was comfortable. I was very happy with that. The bathroom is very outdated with scratched up tiles. The shower plug didn’t work very well. The room is also very outdated with bubbled up stained furniture. When I called down to get towels, they were very good about bringing towels up. However, you were out of cream for most of the week that I was there. You also had no Tampax available. As a gold elite member I was placed right next to the stairwell which was very noisy. The hallway was flooded with water everywhere. The outside area is extremely dark and very hard to see. The grounds aren’t well-maintained. I believe the hotel is not very well managed, or lacking in the funds to run properly. The downstairs entryway is nice looking and spacious. Your staff was friendly and helpful.

Upon checking into my room I found I had only one towel (no others were Abel from housekeeping), no trash can, no hangers. The room had not been vacuumed and the TV had no power. The shower curtain was thin and joke for actually keeping water off the bathroom floor and given there is only one towel that made clean up hard. We were offered thin scratchy pool towels. Definitely never staying here again as it was one of the worst Marriott experiences

My stay here wasn't the best. There's a $13 per day parking fee--I don't quite understand it. It's just an open parking lot that anyone can drive into, no security or extra measures taken to charge hotel guests for parking. The restaurant sections were closed. Coming from another state where the restaurants in hotels are operating, this was a little disappointing. A heads up would have been nice before booking. Our first room that was given to us had someone's garbage on the nightstand which just made us question the overall cleanliness of the hotel rooms. The only positive is the location, it's close to the freeways and major tourist areas like La Jolla, The Border, etc. also the beds were comfortable, the TV did come with cool features like Netflix, Showtime, Amazon Video. Just needs some improvement.

Stayed here for 3 nights during a convention held at Four Points. Checkin was easy, room upgrade was a nice perk of being a Bonvoy Gold member, and staff was always friendly and helpful at every point during my stay. Found the fitness center clean, wifi was reliable and strong. My only regret was that it wasn't warm enough to sit outside and use the pool! Great place to stay and within easy access to restaurants, freeways, etc.

The front desk lady was amazing. She was knowledgeable about anything I asked her. Her positive attitude went a long way. All areas in the hotel were super clean (including my room). Other personnel like housekeeping were awesome. Parking was easy to park and find a spot at anytime. Wifi speed was great too. I would definitely recommend this property to my friends and family.

Our stay at the Four Points San Diego was exceptional! From the moment we arrived the grounds were beautiful we spent sometime just outside the hotel under their large trees enjoying the breeze coming from the ocean 15 minutes away. It was a great location. In the hotel they had all the amenities we could’ve needed. The hotel always smelt very clean walking through the hallways! Our room was spacious and I really loved the recycling option they had inside the room! The staff was very pleasant and they were very helpful and accommodating! I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in this area! We will be back again!

We stayed last minute for a New Years club party on the property, we were surprised that it was spotless and staff was attentive and friendly. Only suggestion if any there was no valet, but perhaps that made it so affordable. The Staff they did have was great! We needed glasses for a pre dining drink they brought them up in a quick minute! We loved our stay ! Thanks for making our get away fabulous!

The front desk manager was exceptional and he set the tone for the entire team! Everyone was so responsive and pleasant each and every time I entered the hotel. My room itself was very comfortable and up to par; however, I do feel like the outdoors and common areas could use some attention. As a woman traveling alone I felt there could be better lighting in the parking areas and pathways to the doors. I also felt that the multiple long hallways leading to the rooms could use some additional seating and guest stations such as water. Service was so amazing that honestly the other suggestions are more of an afterthought. I had a great stay and will definitely return.

Hotel welcomes you with a very nice lobby and staff that smiles and pleasant. We had a king size bed - room decor was a bit tired, but overall it was fine. bathroom a very good size, clean with plenty of towels. Pool area - lounge chairs and pool itself could use a makeover, but still we enjoyed it. There are towels to use by the pool and tables with umbrellas. Food - we only had breakfast buffet which also included pancakes, waffles and eggs made to order. This was very good. Very good service. Overall appearance of the hotel - it does need updating

At 1st glance, the hotel is lovely. However, the rooms need a lot of updating and repairs. They had to switch our room the 1st night and even after that, the issues that popped up were numerous. Broken and beat up furniture in the rooms, clogged bathroom sink, discovered the fridge was unplugged so we had to pull it out from it's hole in the wall to plug it in, coffee pot top blew off and hit me in the head. Even after talking to the manager about the repairs, the 2nd day the room wasn't touched by housekeeping or maintenance. I have traveled extensively and don't usually mind some minor issues in a room but when we came back to our room at 9:30 pm the 2nd day and the room hadn't been touched, I'd reached my limit. Long story short, the hotel ended up comping us 2 mornings of breakfast buffets and 1 nights room charge. On the plus side, the staff are all very friendly and try to be accommodating and the food is top rate! The room was clean when we arrived and the beds are comfortable. I would only stay there again if they get all of the issues taken care of. I do appreciate the effort the front desk people made to correct things. They really were very nice to us. With the amount of guests who were complaining while we were there, I commend the staff for handling everyone with patience and smiles.
