  Mon compagnon et moi sommes allés déjeuner en profitant d'un cadeau qu'ils nous ont offert. Je dois dire que le personnel, étant si serviable, nous a un peu dépassés parce que nous ne sommes pas de «ce monde», mais je voulais indiquer avec ma critique que nous ne nous sommes pas sentis moins que quiconque.   Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable. En particulier, le spa et l'excellent service étaient convaincants. La chambre d'hôtel était en très bon état et avait également un balcon.

  Nous avons beaucoup aimé le St. Regis Mardavall ! Surtout les majordomes étaient très gentils et cordiaux! Dès le début, vous avez été accueilli de manière très détendue avec un verre de bienvenue et conduit à votre chambre. L'espace spa avec les différents saunas, le bain à remous et le bain égyptien était un vrai plus ! Le restaurant étoilé Es Fum était également magnifique avec la vue sur la mer le soir. C'était un grand repos !

  I am Bonvoy Titanium this year and we used points and upgrade certificates to get into a fabulous room with ocean view. I believe it was a junior suite seaview with balcony in the main building. One of the nicest rooms we've ever stayed in. Comfortable bed, quiet, well appointed room with art objects. We enjoyed the fabulous buffet breakfast every morning. We utilized the services of the concierge to book a tour of the old town. Lorena was very helpful. Everyone we encoutered at this property was friendly and wanting to help in any way they could. I want to thank Peter for uncovering a credit towards our bill that I didn't know about. Over the top service. Beautiful grounds and immaculate condition. We kept meaning to get to the indoor pool and jacuzzi but just ran out of time. Be sure to catch the evening sabering ritual and get a nice glass of champagne! Impeccable!

  Mein diesjähriger Aufenthalt im Mardavall war mit Abstand der schönste den ich je erlebt habe. Das familiäre Gefühl auf einem so hohen Servicestandard ist mir selten bis niemals zuteil geworden. Ich hätte noch Wochen bleiben können. Meine Poolsuite war wunderschön und vor allem die abendlichen Spaziergänger an der Küste mit diesem unvergleichlichen Blick sind atemberaubend. Mein ganz herzlichen Dank an das gesamte Team und auch jedem Einzelnen. Ich hoffe wir sehen uns bald wieder. Herzlichst Ihr Mr. Nikki

  Very friendly and efficient staff, from the gate keepers, through the doormen, receptionists, bar/restaurant team, Spa attendants to the concierges, all were most helpful. Excellent room/bathroom. We particularly appreciated the quality of the food /service in the restaurant as well as the Spa facilities. Only one (small) problem: after this, my third visit, I still have not mastered the lighting controls by the bed, which, in spite of pictograms, seem to have a mind of their own….!! I guess I’ll have to go back to finally figure them out….

  Der angebotene Shuttle zu den Golfplätzen hat bei der Rückkehr nicht geklappt. Trotz Beschwerde keine „Entschädigung“ in Form eines Drinks o.ä. Anlässlich eines Geburtstages statt des bestellten Rosé Champagners einen Blanc ausgeschenkt. Enttäuschender Service

  Die Renovierung der Zimmer ist sehr gelungen. Leider die Neugestaltung des Barbereichs nicht. Sehr hellhörig, man konnte die Gespräche der Nachbarn mithören. Die Beleuchtung war viel zu hell. es war schon fast unangenehm. Da auch die Bestuhlung nicht optimal gelungen ist, war für uns ein Barbesuch nicht erstrebenswert.

  Nous y étions en mai dernier, j'étais sur le point de réserver à nouveau pour l'hiver, mais malheureusement je n'ai pas pu. je l'aurais fait tout de suite ! Super piscines, très beau jardin, bonne nourriture, super terrasse, super chambres, bon service, donc ça pourrait toujours être mieux, je ne sais pas comment :-) Un hôtel de rêve.

  I highly recommend this hotel. Especially the grounds, the pool, super friendly service and the restaurant made it a perfect vacation. It is high end and so can feel this the minute you arrive at their reception. Luxurious!

  Par beau temps, profiter de l'après-midi sur la terrasse du St. Regis Mardavall et attendre le coucher du soleil avec plein de délices est certainement l'un des moments inoubliables de Majorque. De plus, il y a un service extrêmement sympathique, attentionné et compétent, nous avons donc été vraiment enthousiasmés par Juliana et Luciano. L'espace de l'ensemble du complexe hôtelier signifie qu'il n'y a pas de rétrécissement, même avec une bonne occupation. Les boissons glacées complètent l'expérience positive.

  The resort is very nice and offers everything you would wish for from a St Regis. You can notice here and there that it was built some 20-25 years ago - but it was recently refurbished and very well maintained. Our room - an ocean-view suite - was extremely nice and spacious. What really made for our great experience though was the exceptional friendliness of the staff. Everyone - really everyone - went out their way to make us feel at home and was just so genuinely nice to us and especially our baby! We will definitely visit this hotel again.

  La suite junior - vue mer est spacieuse et bien équipée, mais un peu vieillotte. En tant que Gold Member, à défaut d'un surclassement, j'aurais aimé une chambre en étage supérieur, pour avoir une vraie vue mer. Restaurant de la piscine très décevant. Qualité et quantités médiocres, prix élevé.

  The St Regis Mardavall is an extremely well-run hotel with extremely professional, efficient and extraordinarily friendly and welcoming staff throughout. Its excellent facilities are all very clean and well maintained. Kudos especially to all of the members of the Concierge team and the manager and staff of Aqua restaurant, all of whom went out of the way to help and to make everybody feel welcome and part of a big family at all times. It is this kind of service that really differentiates a hotel.

  Beautiful hotel, high-quality food and drinks, great spa, and impeccable service from all staff. This hotel is perfect for families but not for couples. We were fully aware that this is not an adults-only resort, but there are no areas where couples can escape from screaming children, far from the romantic getaway we had hoped for. In addition, location is poor, sea views are limited (even “suites with sea view and balcony” have a partial view) and there is no beach.

  Superb staff, that never say 'no.' As an example, we handed baby bottles to the front desk for urgent cleaning - that's not their job to organise - but they did. The Staff in their superb restaurant Es Fum, were delightful - so friendly and enthusiastic - made it a magic meal - as was everyone around the pool and the other restaurants. We messed up our Covid tests - they sorted it. Everyone in all areas of the Hotel, has the right attitude - they always say yes. Really good people which is more important than location and building etc.

  This is a real 5* experience. The hotel is beautiful with lovely gardens and views and never feels crowded or busy because there is so much space. The service is impeccable - such wonderful, kind attentive staff who couldn’t have done more for us. The food is excellent - we ate out most nights but nothing matched the food or service at the hotel. The rooms are large, really comfortable (amazing beds) and have everything you could need. We had a huge balcony which was fabulous. You really get what you pay for at this hotel and I would highly recommend it - we will be back!

  L'hôtel est vraiment super, les chambres sont toujours plus que parfaitement équipées et de grande qualité. La piscine et l'hôtel obtiendraient certainement 5 étoiles de ma part. Tout comme le service et la gentillesse du personnel. Cependant, je dois donner 3 étoiles pour la nourriture et le petit-déjeuner, ici nous espérions beaucoup plus.

  Fabulous, world class resort, with friendly and attentive service. Beautiful surroundings, gardens, and pool - spacious and discret. We spent five nights at the resort in the first week of June, so out of the high tourist season. Recommend a room in the main building facing the pool...the private terrace is worth the added expense. The spa is world class, the 80 minute Swedish massage with Pablo is truly excellent, and I also benefitted by an appointment with the acupuncturist. Will not hesitate to go back, as it is only a two hour flight from our home in Paris.

  Tolles Hotel mit sehr viel Grün. Sehr gute Küche und sehr gutem Service. Hervorzuheben sind die Kinderbetreuung. Mittags und abends gibt es auch für Kinder bis zwölf Jahre ein Kinderbuffet. Negativ kann ich nur beschreiben, dass auf einem Foto ein Strand Abschnitt zu sehen ist der jedoch nicht zum Hotel gehört sehr klein ist stark frequentiert und dreckig. Wer anders mehr möchte muss also weiter entfernt dass mir besuchen oder sich mit diesen Gegebenheiten arrangieren

  Hôtel très agréable surtout avec de jeunes enfants/bébé. Très bonne prestations et chambres très agréables. Le point noir reste la qualité de la nourriture proposée qui est tout simplement inacceptable pour les prix pratiqués. Carte insipide sans personnalité proposant des produits quasi uniquement industriels ou congelés, très décevant sur ce point.

  My wife and I stayed here for our spontaneous honeymoon, the staff was outstanding. The gym had enough to get an average workout in. The breakfast was some of the best I have ever had but the rest of the food was average. I do not recommend ordering room service. Go to the buffet and out in town. The food will be better and cheaper. If you can, go during the week to avoid all of the toddlers screaming and crying.

  Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im St Regis Mardavall. Das gesamte Personal ist extrem freundlich und war stets sehr bemüht, uns - trotz der geltenden Corona bedingten Einschränkungen - einen höchst angenehmen Urlaub zu bescheren. Und das ist ihnen wirklich gelungen. Ich kann dieses Hotel nur wärmstens empfehlen.

  Stayed at St Regis, Mallorca, Spain for 6 nights in early March. The staff were truly remakable particularly Pedro - Concierge, Janine the manager, Fabio at the restaurant amongst a host of others made our stay memorable. Nothing was too much for them. The other staff whose name I don't remember including the room cleaners were also very helpful. The rooms were clean and spotless. Breakfast was excellent and the dinner at Aqua top notch.It was a great location. It is close to Palma and Palma Nous and Palma Nova. If I go back to Mallorca this will be the place we will stay. I would whole-heartedly recommend this hotel.

  Wir kommen schon seid mehreren Jahren hierhin. Die gesamte Hotelanlage ist in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand. Angefangen vom Check-in bis zum Check-out war alles perfekt, es gab keinerlei Beanstandungen. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und hat immer ein Lächeln aim Gesicht . Wir kommen garantiert wieder.

  El personal del hotel hicieron que desde el primer momento en el que pusimos un pie en él, nuestra experiencia fuera única e inolvidable, nos proporcionaron un trato excepcional, nos trataron con todo lujo de detalles. Las instalaciones están muy cuidadas y el spa cumplió con todas nuestras expectativas para un fin de semana de desconexión, es muy completo y está súper limpio. Sin lugar a dudas volveremos, para nosotros ha sido la mejor experiencia en un hotel que hemos tenido, y por supuesto el mejor hotel en el que hemos estado. Estamos deseando poder volver. Gracias por todo a todo el equipo del hotel que nos trató de manera exquisita.

  Malheureusement, l'étincelle n'a pas volé. L'hôtel était trop impersonnel pour nous. Le personnel n'a pas l'air motivé. Le service était exactement ce à quoi vous vous attendiez, mais rien de plus. Nous réserverons à nouveau dans notre hôtel habituel. L'installation et les chambres sont bien sûr au niveau d'un 5 étoiles.

  Ce fut une expérience très décevante. J'ai demandé à garder la chambre double sans surclassement car j'étais chez un ami. J'ai reçu l'approbation de l'hôtel, mais après tout, il a été surclassé en un seul lit. Lorsque j'ai demandé à revenir dans une chambre à deux lits, on m'a dit que c'était impossible car il n'y avait pas de place, et qu'un lit supplémentaire pouvait être installé. Si j'étais satisfait de la réponse, j'étais facturé plus de 50 euros. . . C'est une disqualification pour un hôtel 5 étoiles, comme demander des frais supplémentaires même si nous avons causé des problèmes en raison de notre propre erreur.

  The site, and the sight of the hotel will take your breath away, and everything you need is on hand, though should you leave the site, the towns of Palma Nova and Porto portals are close by, as is the capital, Palma, a 15 minute drive. Access to a lovely beach area is possible off site, but the on-site amenities and especially the saunas and spa facilities are the best I've ever seen. Excellent food, especially the breakfast, and comfort is at the top of the scale.

  I really liked my stay at St Regis, even though it is a big hotel it felt very personal. I was really surprised by this hotel, It is normally not my kind of hotel, I like the smaller, boutique style hotels. But this was great!! I had a beautiful view from the room, great pool area and lounge areas, good food and a perfect gym and fitness room! Slept lika a princess in that bed:) So comfortable.

  Nous sommes juste excités Prenez 5 jours de vacances ici pour vous détendre en septembre 2018. Butler in Sabine nous a déjà accueillis avec café et viennoiseries, puisque notre vol était à 6h00 et nous sommes arrivés à l'hôtel à 9h00. Notre chambre vue mer était disponible immédiatement. Nous serions bien reçus. Au déjeuner et au dîner, le personnel est extrêmement professionnel, poli et compétent. Bravo Les demandes spéciales concernant la nourriture ont été immédiatement satisfaites. Espace extérieur, piscine, pelouse et barre d'outils totalement super. Probablement le meilleur spa de Majorque Vous ne pouvez rien reprocher ici Nous ne pouvons que recommander l'hôtel

  This hotel really is very nice, but we did have a few issues with our stay. We arrived with a 10 week old baby, we were put in a room that we had to go up and down stairs to get to, when we got to our room we waited 1hr 40 mins for our bags, which is not fun when baby is hungry and his food is in our bags. Service round the pool was very poor, very hard to get a drink and we had to move our own loungers and umbrellas, the staff we not interested at all. Still not sure where we could have had dinner as told the main restaurant was closed. shower in room did not work, and bath taps were leaking. We did actually ask if we could stay another night, we told no problem, just pop down to reception in the morning, tried to do this but no one knew we wanted to extend another night, and then their systems crashed, so after waiting an hour or so we decided to check out and head to another hotel. As an elite status member and the fact the hotel was 40% full, why on earth do you charge 19 euros per night to park my car? The hotel is lovely, but all of the above does put you off of spending the high rate demanded when there are better hotels down the road who want look after their guests.

  Ils disent que c'est l'un des meilleurs hôtels des îles Baléares et je suis d'accord. En revanche, étant un 5 étoiles Grand Luxe, il est normal qu'il soit excellent. Ils nous ont réservé un accueil fantastique avec des mojitos que nous pouvions avoir sur la terrasse. Les chambres sont immenses, avec des espaces différents et très bien décorées ; le spa est fabuleux. C'est celui dont je me souviens le mieux de tous ceux que j'ai essayés; le petit-déjeuner est de type allemand avec beaucoup de choses que vous ne savez pas ce qu'elles sont, mais il est apprécié d'essayer des plats différents; et le personnel de l'hôtel et les infrastructures en général sont impeccables.

  This is the best ever stay I ever had in an hotel, and I am a big SPG user and fan. But this property/resort has something incredible. Luxury, outstanding butler service, spa and pools, attention, decoration, quality of products. Just perfect and incredible! Definitively a must do in his life, whenever you are tired and need to regenerate.my 5 days were worth weeks of relaxation! I am considering coming back every year for a regeneration period. I vote for best property, best hotel, best resort, best butler service. Just perfect!

  it would be hard to find another five-star deluxe hotel in Majorca that enjoys the combined elements of luxury, superb service and exquisite fine dining that are available at the Mardavall. I visited ten years ago and the hotel continues to deliver outstanding service. It has a prize location by the sea and beautiful gardens including excellent spa and wellness zone. Es Fum, the Michelin star restaurant is a rare and wonderful gastronomic experience. The bedrooms are large, airy and comfortable with fine views out to sea. Tea lovers will be happy that real leaf tea is served here. A sure sign of a hotel of quality!

  We stayed at Mardavall for our 18th anniversary and had a terrific time. Facilities and staff were excellent! We especially enjoyed our interaction with Edgar in the concierge area, who gave us many suggestions that helped make the trip very memorable. We really looked forward to catching up with Edgar each night as we returned from our daily excursions. The onsite car rental delivery was also a major positive for us. In short, excellent stay and we hope to be back soon!

  This was our first visit to Mallorca, although we have been to different Spanish resorts before. We really enjoyed this Hotel - a nice classic interior design with expensive finishes, but without unreasonable poshness. Very well groomed area, beautiful lawns and flowers. Comfortable rooms (we occupied a Suite), containing everything you need. A good supply of extra pillows and blankets. Comfortable beds. All conditions are created for families with children, but this does not interfere with other guests. Most of all we were impressed by the food at the Aqua restaurant - it was very delicious, every night we have passed on our compliments to the Chef. Elegantly selected menu is accompanied by a good wine list, professional wine serving, and very tactful help of a sommelier. Restaurant Es Fum can serve as a nice variety, but in our opinion, it is somewhat overrated. Its splendid terrace, beautiful views and fantastic sunset gave us more pleasure than food. The Hotel is well situated in a quiet location, but close to lively places. It stands above a very picturesque beach, although it is inconvenient to get down to the sea for those who wish to swim in sea water - I hope that the Hotel will take care of some convenient stairs to the beach. The fresh water pool is spacious and well maintained. During our stay we have witnessed two weddings at the Hotel premises which (to our view) were efficiently conducted and looked very romantic – can be recommended for picturesque ceremonies. Looking forward to enjoy this Hotel next season!

  My wife and I loved our time at the hotel. The campus is stunning, with great views of the sea. The staff attended to our every need. One caveat: For guests cashing in points or splurging, be careful. The hotel itself is very expensive, and charges for everything. Coffee in the morning cost 20 euros. Lunch for two cost almost 100, and there is little else within walking distance with more reasonable prices.

  The hotel is fantastic! I enjoyed every minute there. We passed one night in the hotel and had a sophisticated San Valentine's dinner, served with 6 types of wonderful wine. The staff was super professional. But most of all I was impressed by the spa disposing 2 big swimming pools with warm water, one of them outside with hydromassage and another inside with sea water. I would like to return again and will highly recommend it to my friends!

  Wunderschöne Anlage mit tollen Zimmern und traumhaftem Ausblick. Exzellente SPG Status-Recognition. Das Personal ist fantastisch: Sehr gut geschult, sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Großes Kompliment, insbesondere auch an den Butler-Service! Leider fand eine Privatveranstaltung im Restaurant statt, deren Musik selbst bei geschlossenen Türen noch viel zu laut hörbar war (Entspannung/Schlaf nicht möglich). Dazu kamen einige Kleinigkeiten, die in dieser Anzahl in einem Hotel dieser Klasse eigentlich nicht vorkommen sollten. Daher "nur" 4 Sterne. Trotzdem empfehlenswert!

  This was the 5th stay at a St. Regis Resort although the first in Europe. Every stay was truly outstanding and unique in every aspect. From the first step in the hotel you realize this is a true St. Regis and as always our expectations have been exceeded. Top architectual design with local flavor, spotless clean, great service, high tech features in the room. The Es Fum was a fabulous gourmet dinner experience. This hotel is also great for families given the thoughtful and well organized Childrens Club.

  A real paradise, especially for families, but for everyone in general. Impressive SPA facilities and amazing and huge outside areas. Especial mention to their kids club, their excellent room and f&b facilities, outstanding cleanliness everywhere you walk by deserves a big recognition. But the best experience on top of everything is the few-times-in-a-life treatment the staff gives you since your landing at the airport. All combined made this stay un unforgetable experience to my whole family. Great value for money. Will definitely come back again

  Good Hotel, super friendly and attentive staff, best Michelin-starred restaurant. Anyway, the standard hotel resto seems to be in a subfloor, even it's on the ground floor level. Almost a mile from the famous port Portals Nous and also from the next beach. A big dirty spot on the carpet does not give the best Image. Many German clients over there. The upgrade we got was a silent Corner room.without large ways as people use to comment. We were very pleased.

  My husband and I decided to go away for the weekend, just to get away from hectic London. We got here on a Saturday afternoon and checked in with Vanessa who was ever so welcoming and provided us with such excellent service. We were offered welcome drinks straight away and were upgraded to a junior suite with a sea view. We were not at all expecting this. It was such a wonderful surprise. A big thank you to Vanessa who made our stay so wonderful and also to the bar staff for taking excellent care of us. We had a fantastic time here and will definitely be back

  This was our second time at St. Regis Mardavall and it was as beautiful as we remembered. Some points to note are: 1) The fitness room is quite small and narrow and several times (as I go quite frequently), it was too full and there was not enough space to exercise or not enough equipment available to use. 2) I do expect quite a high level of service from such a hotel. I needed to print out an important fax and went to the reception desk for help. First the receptionist was not very helpful. Then he provided the wrong email address to me where I needed to send the email which he could print out. I sat there waiting to see if it had arrived and had an error message on my blackberry saying the address was not correct. The receptionist just told me it was because there are so many emails and it would arrive later. My husband asked a different receptionist who then gave us the correct address and she proceeded to print the email when it arrived. It is a small event, but worth noting as most of the service we received was impeccable and this service stuck out like a sore thumb. Also, it was unfortunate that we had to leave the room quite early. We left the hotel at 2:45PM and wanted to stay until around 2 or 2:30PM. It was the day after my 40th birthday and it would have been nice to have stayed in the room a bit longer, but it was full and they couldn't make the exception. I thought that was a shame and the receptionist handling the request was quite short and unfriendly.

  This hotel was amazing, When we arrived at the hotel we were so impressed with the welcome we recieved, we knew this was going to be a great holiday. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff in any area of the hotel. Every meal we had was first class. We were upgraded to a Junior Suite which was beautiful. I would highly recommed this hotel to anyone who wants 5 star treatment. We will definitly be going back.

  Wir kommen jedes Jahr gerne wieder. Der Tag beginnt mit einem exzellenten Frühstücksbuffet, das absolut keine Wünsche offen lässt. Schön auf der Terrasse sitzen, Zeitung lesen und entspannt den Tag beginnen, dann einen der vielen lauschigen Liegeplätze einnehmen und abtauchen, herrlich. Wir lieben besonders das riesige Spa, das seinesgleichen sucht und absolut alles bietet, inkl. einem chinesischen Arzt, der auch mal kleine physische Probleme behandeln kann. Es gibt diverse Liegeplätze innerhalb des Spabereiches, so dass jeder seine diskrete Ecke findet. Alle Zimmer sind groß, sehr geschmackvoll und wohnzimmerähnlich gemütlich eingerichtet. Es gibt viel Stauraum und ein großes Bad mit 2 Waschbecken, so dass man sich eher wie in einer kleinen Wohnung fühlt. Das Personal ist sehr professionell und reagiert auf Sonderwünsche oder Beschwerden stets sofort und vor allem freundlich.Die gesamte Atmosphäre ist entspannt, unaufgeregt und natürlich. Die Lage des Mardavalls ist perfekt, abseits des Trubels, aber nah zu allen schönen Plätzen der Insel. Zum Dinner außerhalb des Hotels erreicht man unzählige gute Restaurants in der Nähe. Die schönsten Ausflugsziele sind in Tagestouren erreichbar.Wenn man hier eincheckt, betritt man ein kleines Paradies, im Hintergrund funktioniert eine perfekte Hotelorganisation, von der man nichts mitbekommt. Es ist einfach alles da, was man braucht und wann man es braucht, das perfekte Sorglospaket. Insbesondere gestresste Businessleute finden hier wieder zu sich selbst zurück. Uns geht es jedenfalls so - und wir brauchen das Mardavall, mindestens 1x im Jahr!

  This was our first visit to Mallorca and the Mardavall. We stayed 8 nights. From the moment we arrived until we left, everything was perfect. We have stayed in top Hotels all over the world- . The Mardavall is as good or better than any of these. Susan and Sabine at the Concierge desk, Sarah and Amy at the front desk, Roberto and Javier at breakfast and Shirley in housekeping all helped to make our stay perfect. The hotel is not in the heart of Palma but it is away from the maddening crowd and silence is golden. It is a 15 min. walk to Puerto Portals and close to Porto Andrato, Andratx and a quick jaunt to the mountains. 10 min. to Palma. The room was incredible with a beautiful marble bathroom and a view of the ocean. Aqua was great for dinner. Es Fum was very good but the service- 4 hours- took way too long. The breakfast outdoors in the glorious mornings is not to be missed. The gift shop by the pool is wonderful and the Spa is over the top.There is valet parking in an underground garage and free parking on the grounds but there is limited space. Thank you Mardavall for an excellent visit. We plan on returning to your hotel.

  Ein Hotel, wie man es von der Marke St. Regis erwartet. Trotzdem ist erwähnenswert, dass die Mitarbeiter außerordentlich zuvorkommend, freundlich und offenbar besonders gut ausgebildet sind. Unsere Kinder wurden vom ersten Tag an mit Namen angesprochen - sie liebten die Mitarbeiter - angefangen vom Portier bis hin zu dem Mädchen beim Kinderpool. Uns selber wurde jeder, aber auch jeder Wunsch von den Lippen gelesen. Wir sind die besten Häuser weltweit gewohnt. Das Mardavall gehört zu den Top 10% der uns bekannten Hotels. Die Suiten sind erwartungsgemäß großzügig und sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt. Das Publikum sehr angenehm, dezent, unaufdringlich, alle Altersgruppierungen. Ein Essen im Tristan erwünscht? Kein Problem: Mit Freude wird man nach Portals chauffiert und - mit freundlichen Tipps zur Umgebung - vor die Tür gefahren. Fauxpas von den Kindern (Wand in der Suite angemalt!). Kein Problem, wir malern schnell die Wand neu, Kinder bekommen Malsachen geschenkt. Aufpreis? Nein, das ist ok, es sind ja Kinder. Wirklich klasse. Kein Strand, aber eine sehr schöne Poolanlage, eingebettet in eine großräumige und reich bepflanzte Landschaft. Die Nebenkosten, beispielsweise für Getränke, sind happig - hier könnte man etwas nachbessern. Im Gegenzug steht aber dieser perfekte und gleichsam ungespielt wirkend freundliche Service. Eindeutig empfehlenswert.

  My partner and I started our 2 week trip to Spain here at the St Regis Mardavall because we could not think of a better way to recover from jet lag than a relaxing stay by the water. My only regret is we did not stay at the resort for more than 2 nights! I booked transportation with the hotel from the airport and was pleasantly surprised when we were greeted with a Rolls Royce. The airport was chaotic when we arrived so the chauffeured service with cold bottled water was nice way to end the long journey from san francisco. When you arrive at the property, you're escorted to the patio overlooking the ocean and greeted with a “welcome drink” and snacks while they check you in. We were upgraded to a larger room (assuming this is because of my Starwood status) which, simply stated, was great! The view was incredible and the layout evoked a feeling of serenity. The only design choice I could not understand were the amount of doors in the room which seemed unnecessary. We planted ourselves on the lower deck of the main pool on the 1st day and I have to say, I had one of the best naps ever! The lounge chairs are so comfortable and sound of trickling water from the infinity pools drown out any chatter from the other guests. Also, the SPA and Gym should not be missed – Every day I looked forward to spending my evenings in the spa – absolutely amazing. The staff was absolutely wonderful, and because of this, I plan to be back! You know they're all working so hard "behind the scenes". Whatever you need, you get, all without being overbearing.
